Hotel & Homes to be built by Emmar in Ras Al Khaimah

A five-star luxury hotel with serviced residence and a retail precinct on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah will be developed by Emaar properties. It is a cluster of 4 islands. It also marks the Dubai-based developer’s first foray in the north emirate.

Sheikh Khalid bin Saud Al Qasimi, chairman of Al Marjan Island and Mohammed Alabbar, chairman of Emaar properties signed the agreement. Emma is ready to construct 2 million sq ft project on the island.

Al Marjan Island has a growth value of over 1.8 billion with 1,500 operational hotel keys with more than 2000 residential units. The cluster of 4 island names is Breeze, Dream, View and Treasure. Breeze Island is already home to three hotels- Rixos Bab, Double Tree, Al Bahr and Marjan Island resort and spa.

This agreement displays the evolution of Al Marjan Island as Ras Al Khaimah’s leisure and hospitality place. Emmar’s project will be qualitative addition to Al Marjan Island’s view to be placed in the global map of tourism and investments.
