The Unsolved Case of Rita Jolly
Rita Lorraine Jolly was a 17-year-old high school student who went missing from Oregon. On 29th June 1973 at about 7.15 pm, Rita left her home to go for a walk. She was last seen between 8.30 and 9 pm but was never seen again. The case was suspected to be a homicide but remains unsolved.
Rita is thought to have been a victim of serial killer Ted Bundy. Bundy previously stated he had two victims in Oregon but did not elaborate on the details. Oregon detectives were unable to question Bundy before his execution in 1989. Rita's body was never found.
