Okay summary of deleted super long paragraph: soldier is a stealth trans guy and forgets to ever mention that to Engie. Engie has a hard time except just the fact that it's okay that he's gay and hasn't gotten to working through his prejudices against other queer identities (he's trying but it how he was raised and he can't really help it)

So when Engie does find out that sollys trans (probably while they where doing something suggestive but we're being pg13 here) he doesn't take it to well. Blah blah sad stuff blah blah they're both miserable blah (I swear i originally wrote more then this)
