Saw an interesting post about transmisogyny but the OP was too shitty to reblog from, so I want to ask trans women and fems about it here instead.

They summed up transmisogyny as "transfeminine people are those who you get to treat as women, but always can claim are really men," and elaborated that claiming they're men often manifests not only as overt misgendering but also as "the over-ascription of agency and intent, reducing the question of power in complex social situations to issues of ‘strength’ and ‘size’ [and] a general refusal to recognize gentleness and expressions of care."

This lines up with a lot of what I've seen, especially with regard to agency and not associating trans women with giving or deserving of gentleness and care. Does anyone have anything else to add about these more subtle forms of associating them with maleness?
