i got a job today ! and ive only been here a week so im really proud !

it was an interesting hiring process, I just found the number on Facebook and called like "hey I have a lot of experience working at a different location of yours I'm looking to work here now" and they where like hold on lemme pass ur number along

then some very sweet woman called and without asking any further questions was like "okay so u start Monday at 4 on sushi is that cool ?" I said yes and she proceeded to give me my whole schedule for the week

I'm grateful for it I need a job , she didn't even ask how old I was. but I know the locations are normally a great environment so I'm excited !

and when I last worked for them I was hardly ever on sushi I did hibachi so I'm excited for that !

it's going to be a bit of a struggle getting there sometimes but I'm sure I'll make it work, worse comes to worse it's under an hour walk and if I have my mobility aid I can make it !

Reasons I should get rats

-very smart creatures, I would make them puzzles to solve

-very clean lads despite what the media tells you

-rats are cute

-I would give them lots of love

-I genuinely love rats so much. They are so smart and so interesting.

-I would make them home made treats

-I would name one Cardinal, and the other would be named Tangerine.

I don’t think I can actually, my music taste hasn’t gotten there yet. I think the best I can get you is “Nothing Wrong” by Jimmy Eat World and that probably barely counts.

Now, other solarpunks might be able to help more. The collaborative playlist for Solarpunk Action Week might be a good place to start—I’ll be fully honest, I haven’t even gotten through the whole thing, so I’m sure there’s lots of gems in there.

• It takes a minute for him to get jokes, sometimes you have to repeat them or explain them to the point that it isn't funny anymore, but being patient with it means a lot to him.

• Will openly guffaw if you make a physics joke, though.

• He wants to like black coffee because it's quicker to prepare, but he's way into different flavored creamers (get new ones for him to try.)

• Sensitive nipples. I can tell by looking at him.

• Gets awful eye strain headaches at times. Loves being doted on when it happens, because it does help, but he also just finds it touching that you care.

• Listen, I just get the vibe that maybe he was denied a lot of indulgence or affection growing up, so any act of kindness isn't lost on him. Whether your love language is words of affirmation or acts of service, anything, he eats it up and reciprocates in his own way.

• 100% gets clingy or cuddly when tired. Will lay his head on your shoulder and grumble when you insist he get to bed already.

• Will play with your hands. Giving them gentle little squeezes when you get him out of the house for a walk, running his fingers over the lines and ridges when he thinks you're asleep, holding them to his cheek when he's feeling affectionate.

• Will say he doesn’t enjoy his fellow straightening out his coat before he leaves for work, but he’s lying.

• Can’t help but forget his glasses are on the top of his head and has his partner remind him that, no, he did not, in fact, lose them.

• At the end of the day, he enjoys cuddling up next to you; if it’s been extremely stressful, he enjoys it when his hair is played with.

• Likes to remind his beau that they are all made up matter; there have been times he’s gone on rambles about electrical phenomenons.

• Sometimes he’ll bring some gifts with him: sweets, new pens, the pair of boxers he thought were his but were actually yours that he ruined by putting it in the wash with the colours, making them bright pink.

hiiiii ik ur worried about starting ur punk stuff . its ok to repurpose things from thrift stores-- ur not taking from anyone. and even if its the shittiest thing youve ever seen (which i highly doubt!!) its still art and its still something you created and spent time on!!! you turned a piece of clothing into something invaluable!! go forth and create my friend. fuck around and find out.
