The article, written by Rob Garrett and published on October 14, 2024, provides a detailed review of the Springfield Armory 1911 TRP 4.25″ Carry Contour handgun. Springfield Armory is renowned for its high-quality 1911 pistols, with the TRP line no exception. This review was based on a loaned firearm from Springfield for evaluation purposes. The TRP, or Tactical Response Pistol, originated as a semi-custom alternative to the Springfield Professional Model, famously utilized by the FBI Hostage Rescue Team. Over time, the TRP has been revamped, with the latest versions offering enhanced features like the Carry Contour design, which is tailored to optimize concealed carry by reducing printing under clothing. The handgun is available in various configurations, including full-size models and carry-ready variations with different finishes such as black or coyote brown Cerakote. Garrett tested the TRP extensively with various .45 ACP ammunition and praised its quality, accuracy, and smooth trigger mechanism, though he noted some sharpness in the frame's machine checkering and found the sights challenging for aging eyes. The TRP was lauded for maintaining Springfield Armory’s tradition of reliable and high-functioning firearms, making it highly recommended for both everyday carry and home defense.

i really like the lock picking in Skyrim because it's an actual skill that i, the player, have gotten good at.
like, i have never put a single perk point into the lockpicking tree, but i can pick any lock in the game in ten picks or less because i have a system that i developed into a practiced skill i use on all the locks.
That may sound like a useless or broken game dynamic, but it's one of my favorite things in the game actually -- the locks in Skyrim are built a certain way, and i, as a player, have developed the skill to pick them based on experience, practice, and the development of a process.
i actually wish more things in more RPGs were like that.

So in a good news/less good news thing, I might have found out the cause of the Unexpected Floor Time! I got my blood test results back and my sodium was on the very very low end of normal. Still technically in the normal range, but very not normal for me, so my issue may have been that this week I am more sodium Georg than usual???? I mean I do have salt wasting syndrome but also I eat so much salt every day and I am on medication to help me retain salt better (fludrocortisone! it's great!) So anyway that's why I have not got much crafting done this week. I've been extremely tired and unsalted lol Oh wait the good/less good format! Okay so good news is might have an answer and it's not any of the worse options, less good news is that I need more damn salt lol

The Hidan vs Deidara ask: Deidara is the type that suicide if he's losing so if Hidan got his blood, the dude simply gonna C4 explode himself and Hidan like the Sasuke match. Let's see how you gonna stick yourself back if you're dust now.
I think we all have something to say about how many characters conveniently dropped dead in front of Sasuke LMAO
But regarding suicide's role in Deidara's characterisation, I can see this playing out that way, yeah. If he knows he's going to die, he will go out with a bang.
... although there's no guarantee that would actually kill Hidan. 💀

There's a trait for warrior in the Discipline traitline that makes warrior run faster if they have a melee weapon in their main hand and I'm pointing this out because I think it's funny what the game considers a melee weapon. The trait is called Warrior's Sprint, it's a common trait to take for any of warrior's builds, condi or power.
Axe? Melee weapon, of course. Sword? Also a melee weapon, the trait works on a mainhand sword. Mace? Of course it's a melee weapon.
Greatsword? No the trait doesnt work for greatsword. Hm? Greatsword is melee for warrior? No, the trait says it isn't. So.
Longbow? Of course not, it's ranged. Same with rifle. Movement speed is the same as everyone else.
What about spear? That's ranged for warrior.
And wouldn't you be surprised to know this damn trait thinks it's melee.

Launch of Apollo Pad Abort Test 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Pad Abort (BP-6/PA-1) vehicle lifting off from LC-36 at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. This test flight was to investigate the effects on the Apollo spacecraft during an abort from the pad. It also tested the pitch motor and launch escape motor of the Launch Escape System (LES).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"The LES had to be able to pull the spacecraft away from an exploding rocket on the launch pad. The LES then had to gain enough altitude to allow the command module's parachutes to open, preferably with the spacecraft over water and not land.
The flight featured a production model LES and a boilerplate (BP-06) Apollo spacecraft, the first mission to feature one. The spacecraft carried no instruments for measuring structural loads as the capsule's boilerplate structure did not represent that of a real spacecraft."
