Zanahra, Tribe of the Storm
"In the ancient times when the heavens and the earth were still young, there was a great battle that shook the foundations of the world. The Supreme Ugaz, lion-headed god of war, storms, and rulers, emerged victorious over the Great Mother, Zuwat, the primordial goddess who had transformed herself into a colossal serpentine dragon to avenge her slain son, Genlel, the god of darkness.
It was in the aftermath of this cataclysmic battle that Zanahra was born. Ugaz, having defeated Zuwat, trapped her at the bottom of a great riverbed, her lifeblood flowing out to form the oceans and rivers of the world. The land around this riverbed was hallowed ground, and it was here that Ugaz chose to establish his dwelling city, Zanahra. This city, nestled in the heart of the Eriduan lands, became known as the place where the storms are born, and the earth trembles with the imprisoned rage of Zuwat." Scholar Naima, scroll keeper of Halgash
Zanahra was founded by the first high priest of Ugaz, a warrior named Kazuran, who had been chosen by the god himself. Kazuran, guided by visions from Ugaz, led his people to the sacred riverbed. There, they constructed a mighty city with towering walls and grand temples to honor the storm god. The central temple, known as the Thunder Hall, was built upon the very spot where Ugaz had defeated Zuwat, and it was said that the echoes of their battle could still be heard within its stone walls. The city of Zanahra quickly rose to prominence, its warriors feared and respected across the lands. The people of Zanahra, known as the Stormborn, were fierce and proud, their loyalty to Ugaz unwavering. The city’s strategic location by the river and its proximity to fertile lands made it a center of trade and agriculture, further strengthening its power and influence.
Zanahra’s history is marked by an era known as the Age of Storms, a time when the city reached the peak of its power. During this period, the Stormborn, under the leadership of King Rakshar the Thunderous, expanded their territory through the lands of the gods and created a vast empire, dominating the other great cities. The armies of Zanahra, blessed by Ugaz, were invincible, their war cries echoing like thunder across the battlefield.
King Rakshar, a descendant of Kazuran, was said to have been born during a great storm, his cries mingling with the roars of the heavens. Under his rule, Zanahra constructed the Sky Pillar, a colossal tower that reached towards the heavens, symbolizing the city’s divine connection to Ugaz. The Sky Pillar, adorned with intricate carvings depicting the god’s many battles, became a place of pilgrimage for those seeking the favor of the storm god. In the end the empires own home would be there undoing, like so many times before a massive flood combined with a severe earthquake caused the city to crumble, toppling most of the Sky Pillar and all the great monuments to the power of the city. Thoroughly diminished and met with constant rebellions, the city was unable to keep its control over the others and the empire was no more.

Meyers used [Hanyu's rotations] to explain the conservation of angular momentum, or the change in the spin of the solar system and objects within it, as they get smaller (contract) or larger (expand)."

I love our Leader Lizalfos friend. I've taken to calling him Rakshar Vathek. On an unrelated note, I'm finally doing some LU writing! It centers on Wind and the Fierce Deity, who I've named Fenír Daegal. It's very fun!
#linked universe#I'm glad to be finally writing again! I've had trouble recently#so this is very refreshing for me!#I'm in love with Fenír#characterising him from his meager amount of canon loz content is very exciting

I just laugh to myself as they casually walk up to the door and then yank at the handle and then look all confused. It’s mean but it makes me laugh. and gives me some sort of weird happiness like “hahaha we’re not open yet you dingbat read the siiiiign”

why I started following you: you had a great imagination (re: fanfic) and you were also extremely respectful of others' pairings, despite them being different from yours. That really impressed me.
Tbh I didn’t expect anyone to have followed me for those reasons but I’m happy to hear it!
