That Raisin really is in the Sun

So, for my Advanced English class "summer reading" project we were given the play Raisin In the Sun, as well as a list of books to choose one from. We have to compare them and see how they're similar.

I chose The Kite Runner. I also chose the theme of "tolerance."

Of course, now I have 7 days left until school starts and 200+ pages of The Kite Runner left, having finished Raisin In the Sun earlier this month.

It's a tough read, but I'm really enjoying it so far. I think it's a really good look at how your own personal desires can blind you to what's right, as well as just how naive children can be when it comes to the effects of their actions on other people.

Anyways, all this to say I would die for Hassan and his father.
