About stone ocean ending .There was no "new " universe at the end .After Emporio defeating pucci , it basically reverted back to the original around the same time frame as the "pucci verse " ( the universe that was created by mih) .So that's why they were allive . The reason why they had different lives was because pucci's "soul" wasn't carried over after he got killed by Emporio. He either got completely erased along with mih verse or he got replaced by a walmart version in the OG (like bee -lyne and Q-taro ) .As a result by erasing pucci they no longer are fated to meet in prison and eventually die in cape carneval. Instead they meet outside (gravity and fate was always meant to pull them together) and all the events that lead them in prison got altered either directly (since pucci was the one that got Jolyne and weather there) or indirectly (Ermes sister no longer dies and Anasui doesn't kill his ex) .The name changes happened because they no longer have their memories of the pt 6 events even if they have the same souls .Its also symbolic in Jolynes case since Irene is no longer a "jojo" and escaped the joestar/dio curse .The one who is mostly unchanged is Jotaro (he prb still have the same name) since part 1-5 still happened .Anyways this reddit post explains better than I do and I recommend after finishing part 6
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.reddit.com/r/StardustCrusaders/comments/50ppxy/part_6s_ending_may_be_happier_than_you_think_and/&ved=2ahUKEwiyvvWWgrP9AhWJXfEDHdGMCHwQFnoECBIQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1q61LQ4AGx_8sBLq1eF2hI
this writeup on reddit does actually explain a lot for me, thank you. I didn't consider that pucci failing to catch up to the moment he started speeding up time at cape canaveral would mean he had failed to make his new universe properly but that makes sense

Would be dope if the anime will fix this flashforward scene meant for nothing with something like this.
Anyway, it’s been so long since I visit r/stardustcrusaders and they apparently have come up with some ideas regarding the flashforward:
I personally think that we shall admit it that it’s no longer relevant and got retconned, but whatever. Those two theories may satisfy you if you wish any relevancy for that flashforward.

Apparently, in Japanese, Joseph’s joke was to pull the “-pi” sound from “happy” into the words うれしい (“joy,” “ureshii” —> “urepii”) and よろしく (“nice to meet you,” “yoroshiku” —> “yoropiku”) for a childish play on words, like a kid morphing words to make them rhyme. (source: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/StardustCrusaders/comments/66om2r/what_are_some_of_the_hardest_jojo_moments_to/)
In the anime, the translators chose to completely rewrite the joke to carry over Joseph’s intent without the awkwardness of wordplay that simply does not translate between Japanese and English:
JOSEPH: Oh, I get it—you’re one of those strong, silent types, right? Ever thought about modeling? You’ve got a nice look there! C’mon, let’s see what you’ve got! Give me a smile! I know you can do it. Show me some vulnerability—work with me here! Make some love to the camera. Ready? Set? Give me happy! Now, be silly! Show us those pearly whites.
…IMO, the anime’s translation preserves this disaster goofball’s humor better than the more literal translation does.

His name is Castoro Dumbidioti. He sells pirated VHS. He makes leopard growls when he’s feeling edgy.
-------
This isn’t a serious original character, nor my art: I was just playing around with some picrew.
Link to it: Here
The OP’s reddit post about it for info: https://www.reddit.com/r/StardustCrusaders/comments/m3lyxi/i_made_a_jojo_character_maker/
Have fun with that?
Bonus random one:
Percolator Schuss, their stand is not water nor ice-related, they’re just like that. They might also be in the part 9 anime, the clown academy part.

decided finally start posting art to my blog instead of throwing it around on discord, and since the jojo oc tourney 5 over on the main subreddit just wrapped up, i figured i would post my character!
info under the cut! (and bonus memes)
(now you may wonder why i joined a tourney for an anime i’m inexperienced with, and i blame my friend for saying we should join despite our mutual lack of knowledge. didnt stop me from getting to quarterfinals <3)
in any case, this is Cybil Antoine, Queen of the Girlbosses, and her stand [Gold Guns Girls]. Over the course of the tourney Cybil used her wealth and her stand’s golden weapons to mainly wreak havoc, while Gold gained a love for the world and fought to preserve some sense of altruism Cybil had lost, eventually finishing her user off before living her own life
thanks to the jjoct team, i had a lot of fun writing matches, and you can check out the r/stardustcrusaders subreddit for the posts! dm me if you want to see my matches in specfic and live out girlboss hours with me
now, as promised, memes:

Can u make another stand oc tournament I will love to show how op and weird my stands are
Actually, I had very little to do with the JoJo OC tournament. I didn’t create it, I wasn’t involved with any decisions, aaaaand the tournament I entered ended after only a couple rounds because it was an absolute dumpster fire in terms of judging and management.
But! There have actually been two entire tournaments since then, with another one currently in progress. I’ve heard that these are handled much better than the disaster I was part of. I don’t know for sure, I haven’t really looked at them much because. Y’know. Dumpster fire.
If you want to know more, check the stardustcrusaders subreddit. It’s a big subreddit and the tournament gets lost in the noise, so here’s a link to one of the latest topics: https://www.reddit.com/r/StardustCrusaders/comments/jov9je/jojos_bizarre_oc_tournament_5_round_2_wrapup_part/
There’s also a wiki that may or may not have more information: https://jojos-fan-tournament.fandom.com/wiki/Jojo%27s_Fan_Tournament_Wiki
Enter at your own risk. I’m just telling you what I know.

“JoJo teams cosplaying as their stand” series that I originally and periodically posted on Reddit r/StardustCrusaders.
The concept for those familiar with the show:
The JoJo and their main team/allies only. No character that joins midway through the part.
The stand user wear what appeared to be their stand’s clothing/armor, so no altering the original body.
Jokes. Gotta have a punchline somewhere in each group.

God the Jojolion readers on /a/ are getting unbearable. I swear they don’t even enjoy the manga anymore and all the wild speculation/toorufags/kaatofags are killing me.
I get your frustration about that. As a platform free of moderation, trolls are very free to invade threads there. The comments expressing their hatred and disappointment regarding JJL also wears me out... like "shut up and get out! Just stop reading it and bitching about it here!" unless it's their first time to express that and also include legitimate criticism of why do they think so.
And about those wild speculations too, yeah... sometimes I don't get why some readers often think too far about every drawings there, as if everything must have a deep meaning.
However, there is a plus point for platforms/threads that are free from moderator's 'grip', that we can be more honest and outspoken in expressing our opinion and challenging other opinions without sugarcoating it for the sake of being respectful (which potentially will lose its true meaning).
In fact, I often find brilliant thoughts and ideas on this platform (4chan) more than on reddit!
I was a redditor and I've been hanging out on JoJo's subreddits for over a year. I've been really eagered about being on r/StardustCrusaders... until the quality of moderation there began to decline.
I'm the kind of person who always being cautious before action so I always make sure to read the rules before posting. I have successfully posted several times by following the rules (regarding tags and so on) until one day my post was rejected.
After communicating with the moderator, the reason s/he gave was fair and reasonable and I could accept it. But when I reposted I no longer care to check the status whether it was accepted or not.
Then when I submitted another post for the second time, somehow it was immediately 'rejected' as if it was done automatically for reason that is very vague either!! Even though I've checked them as best I could (including spoiler tag and the rule for title).
Should I contact the moderator again about this? Well, from then on I was already tired with it. Do I have to beg the moderators every time I want to post something there? No thanks, I'd rather just leave the sub altogether.
You may think that I was being childish, but imagine if... in order to post something there you had to repeatedly ask the moderators to negotiate the approval.
Besides, the quality of subreddit has also declined with the spread of fanart posts which drown out the other posts that might be worth to discuss. Not to mention some potential posts that may have been rejected.
And lately there have also been redditors who have complained about the removal of their comments for no apparent reason.
I'm not saying that 4chan is objectively better than reddit, it's just that right now I feel more comfortable with 4chan... and youtube comment section too because yeah... no moderators there policing your thought.
And to be honest, toorufags/kaatofags/jobinfags are everywhere (not just in /a/), but the best place to fight them is in 4chan at the moment. At least we can be blunt and treat them like a joke there than have to take them seriously in reddit.
