What is this another Weeb Wednesday and I am going to bring up an isekai, how can this be?   You might remember that I said the last isekai was the second gayest anime of the season only losing to golf, but this came out after. In the first episode the main character Anisphia "Anis" Wynn Palettia crashes a party her brother is having, she steals her brother’s soon to be ex-fiancé Euphyllia "Euphy'' Magenta, decides it is in everyone’s best interest to keep her, and the two end up in bed. I mean there is other things about the fact that Anisphia is a princess who cannot use magic so is creating her own system of magic, that Euphyllia is a genius (and turns out to be a bigger switch that at first glance), also there is maids and a lesbian vampire. This anime is gay, and I think that the anime actually did the light novel justice and might have made it moar gay. Also a deep story about what is needed to be a ruler of a country and if someone is willing to give up what they want for others. Also again a lesbian vampire, who yes is not a big stompy dommy mommy but still should be called out.

PS. Yes I am doing my part to keep Weeb Wednesday gay. For the children.

you know, I never did make this on twitter back when that was still usable but hi! im a big mitsuri fan! shes probably one of the only anime characters I can say I can very closely relate to and shes very dear to my heart. I love her very very very much <3

at first, I was pretty averse to demon slayer, mainly because big popular animes usually don't hit the mark for me. but a friend of mine ended up getting me to watch it and im very glad she did, because mitsuri has been very pivotal for how I view myself and for how I treat others. i used to hate how I looked, much like she did at the beginning of her story, but over time, like her im starting to learn to at least like it.

a very important panel. mitsuri promotes kindness and love of all sorts, be it platonic or romantic or any other sort; and while trying to unlearn the not great person I was beforehand; seeing the damage I did in hindsight makes me sick. she gives me the courage to be kinder to others, but know when to retract said kindness. over the course of the 3 years since I first saw her at the end of the first season of the kimetsu anime, I have been heads over heels for her and everything she stands for. she is a role model to me and should be respected by even the most surface level kny fan; unfortunately that isn't the case as with most stuff, I cannot trust the very concept of her loving everyone with an anime fan who regularly browses r/animemes as she just gets reduced to a sex object otherwise; and I identify with her enough that seeing that feels like a virtual slap to the face. it makes my blood boil, but I dont act on it because it is not what she would want for me.

seeing such a kind, sweet, proud soul like hers gives me the strength to get through the day. i wish more people would give her more respect as most fans I see of her tend to only see her in a sexual context; which is pretty fucking annoying but I shouldn't waste my breath getting mad at people online. mitsuri makes me want to be an even better person than I am now and i hope that I'd make her proud. she will always hold a place in my heart for changing me forever <3
