#WachusettDam in Clinton, MA- construction for the dam began in 1897, and was finished in 1906. When completed it was the largest #gravitydam in the world, as well as the largest public water reservoir. . Now the second largest body of water in Massachusetts, it makes up part of the water system of the largest- the #QuabbinReservoir. Areas of West Boylston, Sterling & Clinton were abandoned to make way for the reservoir . The town of New Winslow is a small community in the grip of a strange curse. While life goes on like normal for the most part, occasionally residents or visitors will find themselves unable to move past the town limits. It could last twenty seconds or twenty years. You never know how long and you never know when it’ll hit you, but the rent is wicked cheap and the people are nice, so you may as well stick around regardless.

Season One begins when an impulsive promise and family obligations bring two friends back for Christmas years after they left town. Mysteries are pursued, long-buried feelings resurface, and still, life carries on.

New Winslow is available to read for free on Patreon and Wattpad and each episode averages 1000 words (except Eps. 1 and 2 on Patreon, which are longer). New episodes are released on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
