Pseudomalachite! It's called that because it looks like Malachite, but isn't! :3
Also it's soluable in acid, so can't throw acid on it :/
What kind of acid? What pH? Or do even weak acids tear away at it?

Beautiful piece from the Portuguese mine "Miguel Vacas" formed by Libethenite crystals on matrix of great aesthetics and beauty due to the contrast of the bright green tones of the surface minerals on matrix, as well as crystalline aggregates of pseudomalachite crystallizations.

Pseudomalachite
Cu5(PO4)2(OH)4
Locality:
Silberbrünnle Mine, Haigerach valley, Gengenbach, Ortenaukreis, Freiburg Region, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Field of view: 0.65mm
Collection and photo: G. Franz Zöll
A secondary mineral in the oxidized zone of hydrothermal copper deposits. Soluble in acids. Crystals, which are rare, are prismatic, usually with uneven faces. Pseudomalachite is commonly compact, reniform or botryoidal, or it may be fibrous or in crusts and films.

@pseudomalachite replied to your post “broccoli would be better if it wasn’t… y’know… like that”
I hate it boiled but I Love it steamed
steamed is certainly better than boiled but I can’t help thinking it would be best if it could just be... smoothed out...

I was wondering, is your drawing "strong green lady" inspired by something? It seems to remind me of a movie or an anime but I can't remember. It's an amazing drawing either way.
Thanks for the compliment! Well... when I was drawing her, I was not intentionally basing the design off of anything in particular. However now that I look back at it, I feel like it reminds me of the Hollows from the anime Bleach. I used to watch that show back... what, ten years ago? That was a formative time for me so I probably got some inspiration from that show. The drawing in question: tumblr redbubble

As you know, there are many copper gems like cuperite, azurite, malachite, and pseudomalachite, along with their mixes like bluebird. What do you think homeworld versions of these gems would do? As in the main 3-4 that I listed (if u choose to include psudomalachite)
hehe I made all of these except psudomalachite XD Maybe she could be an advanced scientist higher than malachite
