As our loved ones age, ensuring they receive the right level of care becomes a paramount concern. While many seniors prefer to age in place, there comes a point when additional support is necessary for their well-being. Skilled nursing services play a crucial role in providing specialized care that goes beyond what traditional caregiving can offer.

Nursing agencies like our nursing agency in Bolingbrook, Illinois, play a multifaceted and crucial role in the healthcare industry. They offer nursing staffing solutions for private individuals looking for a home health aide, hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics. Nurses can provide a variety of services to help enhance patient care, support recovery, address unwanted symptoms, and reduce the risks of health complications.

Okay now I've gotten myself angry again. Every time a medical professional is abusive/neglectful the overwhelming response is "Their job is so stressful and underpaid! They deal with so many rude and abusive patients, of course they're like that!!"
You know who else has stressful, underpaid jobs and deal with rude and abusive customers a lot? Retail workers. But if a retail worker started assaulting all of their customers you'd hear all about it, wouldn't you? The consequences would be enormous, and there would be an overwhelmingly negative response, even if it was exclusive to rude customers.
Now imagine this was the norm, and it was socially acceptable, encouraged even, in retail jobs to abuse and assault your customers whenever you feel like it, for any perceived sleight, just because they need to buy groceries and you have to serve them. It would be all over the news, it would be an international scandal with arrests all over the place, there would be exposés of the secret culture of abuse and assault in retail workplaces on every channel and news source with interviews with the victims. Everyone would know about it and everyone would care, because of course that's fucked up.
So why is it different when your victims are sick and rely on you to survive?
#yes this does also double as a cop analogy like many MANY things when it comes to medical professionals#cripplepunk#cripple punk#disability#actually disabled#uk nhs#ableism#medical abuse#medical trauma#Only a matter of time before I get cussed out by a nurse for this. Nurses really are the cops of healthcare#PS. retail workers would be FAR more justified imo#1k

When Is the Best Time to Seek Incontinence Care?
Americare Home Health, Inc . provides skilled nursing services such as incontinence care. Do you remember a time you did not make it to the toilet because your bladder just lost control? Most older people, especially women, suffer from incontinence. This is because they have experienced pregnancy, childbirth, and the menopausal stage throughout their lives. On the other hand, men who have undergone prostate gland problems are also at risk of bladder overflow.

Professional nurses must acquire the skills and knowledge they need to get certifications for patient care. Their license would speak of their ability to perform healthcare tasks and the quality of healthcare staffing services in Massachusetts.

Accessible and Prompt Healthcare At Your Fingertips
The healthcare industry is in high demand these days. The rising cost of healthcare, the frequency of chronic diseases, and the rapidly aging population all have an impact on the healthcare system. However, half of the world’s population currently lacks access to basic healthcare. The majority of people are also denied access to proper care due to a lack of understanding regarding pre-existing medical illnesses, symptoms, and past and current drugs.

honestly you probably shouldn't go into the medical profession if you aren't prepared to treat patients with dignity and respect - even if your job exploits you, even if your bosses suck, even if you're exhausted.
yes, you are allowed to have feelings and be tired. but you have to be willing and able to either admit when you can't do something (and take the consequences), or put how you feel aside and do your job. for the sake of your patient.
you and your job may be harmed by the medical industrial complex's wrongness, but to your patients, you are part of the complex that is also gravely failing them. you have the power to be a force of goodwill and care, or an instrument of oppression.
that is what you're signing up for when you become a medical professional. don't like it? don't become a medical professional.

Now that it's Disability Pride Month, anyone who makes obnoxious diabetes jokes along the lines of "diabetes in a cup" or similar jokes personally owes me at least $10 okay thank you much love ^_^
Same goes for the people who immediately tell me about how much they would hate their life if they had to inject themselves with needles everyday like I do after I tell them I'm diabetic, your comment is not helpful or insightful! :3
Oh and people who ask me for the in depth medical definition on type 1 diabetes owe AT LEAST $30, I'm not your personal medical dictionary
#this turned more so into a snarky vent post but idc#you guys would not believe the shit I hear on a daily basis#I've encountered actual medical professionals who say these things to me#I've had hospital trips where my nurse didn't actually understand the difference between type 1 and type 2#this shit is insane#I can't believe I actually put up with this daily and don't just start killing#zelle.txt#disability pride month#type 1 diabetes

#(i know i sound very incompetent but dont worry im not a medical professional and work alongside literal nurses sjdkdkks)#i get panicky when watched by the assessors :(((#why are they so mean#my posts

Crazy how despite Mikan's love for gory movies and blood, she doesn't do an over the top murder. She doesn't even do a medical themed murder despite it being the main focus of the chapter. (Only one of her victims was a patient and she just strangled her)
Crazy how, when she wants to commit a murder for Junko, she does neck trauma.
That's Yasuke's M.O.
#If I had a nickel for everytime a medical professional killed their classmates via strangulation and neck trauma#For their fucked up girlfriend#I'd have two nickels blah blah you know how the rest goes#Feel like we are getting a look into Junko's 'interests' and I don't know if I like that information#I wonder if they did have a different murder for mikan and scrapped it#Because she has a line in the afterschool mode (that's DEFINITELY not its name but I'm too lazy)#Where she mentions she loves parasites while pulling her crazy in love face#And later in KK we have a nurse that kills people by growing parasites in them#Could be unrelated or it could be a reuse of a early concept of chp3#Mentioned bc it's the only murder that connects like that but again it could be Kodaka using nurse tropes#Also slightly unrelated but does the medical profession just not inspire Junko or what#Bc we all know how weird Mikans execution is but also Yasuke has one in a artbook and????#He gets strapped to a table operated on and then just explodes#That's it no explanation for why he explodes#Junko I thought this was your thing???? Why does it suck so much???#scarposts

A nurses' strike is looming at Rochester General Hospital this week. The system that delivers and manages half the care in the Rochester area is preparing to keep operations running during the scheduled union picket. The Rochester Union of Nurses and Allied Professionals says members are ready to walk off the job beginning Thursday morning. Rochester Regional Health, which runs Rochester General Hospital, was notified that the work stoppage is planned from Thursday at 7 a.m. until Saturday at 7 a.m. Nurses are planning to walk the picket lines at that time, no matter when shifts end. Officials with Rochester Regional say the health system plans to bring in hundreds of nurses during the strike from what it calls a nationally respected agency. It intends to maintain all services without interruption from emergency department response to scheduled surgeries. RRH says the strike comes after 15 negotiating sessions with the union to get its first contract.

Doctors, nurses (and others treating physical ailments), and mental health professionals, do you trust a patient who describes their experiences/symptoms with "medical language" more or less?
*Explanation: as medical language becomes more well known and more "mainstream" with the help of internet, their meanings can become diluted, and people can start describing their mild symptoms with terms that are more severe than their actual conditions.
(For example, feeling "out of it" could mean a general malaise, anxiety or dissociation, but if a patient described their symptoms with medical terms like "dissociative symptoms" without any proper examination from a licensed doctor, they could leave out the other two possibilities — general malaise and anxiety — which could affect their course of treatment, etc.)
This poll was submitted to us and we simply posted it so people could vote and discuss their opinions on the matter. If you’d like for us to ask the internet a question for you, feel free to drop the poll of your choice in our inbox and we’ll post them anonymously (for more info, please check our pinned post).

Honestly really hope 4.1 gives ANY kind of interesting aspect to Neuvillette and Wriothesley's dynamic bc rn "token yaoi bait of 2 tall men who live in the same country, work together professionally but are not close personally" is just not hitting for me...
Like give me SOMETHING to work with so I don't have to be annoyed with the Wriolette art when I'm just trying to look for Neuvillette fanart
#saccha's thoughts#neuvillette#wriothesley#gi#the leaked voicelines aren't doing it either#the whole 'oh he held an umbrella for him once' would only appeal to me if I had prior investment in the ship#but I don't#bc pre-4.1 wriothesley is quite literally an NPC#and not once mentioned by neuvillette in the archon quest#give me ONE reason why I should be invested in that ship that isn't '2 attractive tall men... TOGETHER'#inb4 u ask why I think they are not close personally#it was said twice that neuvillette purposefully avoids forming personal relationships with the ppl of fontaine (no exceptions)#and also their respective voice lines about each other do not imply they are close personally in any way#the only non-professional connection they have is through sigewinne#bc neuvillette has a big soft spot for melusines and she works in the fortress of meropide as head nurse
