Remember in Season 1, Episode 1 Aftermath, Tech says "I am merely stating a theoretical hypothesis based on factual data?" Well, that's what I did, I made a "logical conclusion." From Lama Su coming back when we thought he was dead to the infamous "domicile," it was all factual evidence that was meant to push us in a direction of hoping that Tech would return and that CX-2 could be the way he does it. I'm not stupid, and neither are you. There's an underlying reason that I love Tech not based on just his handsome looks. I don't claim to have an exceptional mind like him and I don't intend to convince anyone that CX-2 was Tech, but I do want to explain how it could be construed through the way that character was presented as well as the possibility of Tech's return in general, that he could have been and none of us were wrong or "losers" to think so.
45 70 Reasons and more well on the way, lol...
General reasons:
*Tech is never seen actually dying.
*Hemlock being untrustworthy source of death certificate.
*The return of many thought to be dead characters in past Star Wars from Darth Maul who was sliced in half to Lama Su - the door closed on him and we thought he was getting shot by troopers only to show up alive later and this happened in The Bad Batch itself.
*CX-2 is shown walking toward the 'light' after dropping off Omega, symbolically toward a future redemption. @astrovoidy
*Height change on starwars.com
*The word 'dead' danced around on official sites and by BB employees
*the similarities to Winter soldier @on-a-quest
*the cryptic tweets that showcased reborn characters like Gandalf
*The official poster of CX-2 shows him in 'good' light. @eriexplosion AND CX-2 is shown looking up and to the side the way the original CF99 members are positioned and facing in their poster as if CX-2 is also a CF99 member
*other people in professional settings like New Rock Stars on youtube thought the same exact thing as well as casual viewers
*the large focus on CX-2, over multiple episodes
*misleading title of last episode "The Cavalry Has Arrived"
*Tech being smart enough to find a solution
*If Season 2 could be compared to Empire Strikes Back, Tech was taken from us the way Han Solo was, but Han Solo was returned so surely Tech would be as well
*no one expected a main ensemble character permadeath
*the fight with Crosshair music had hints of "Plan 99" in it
*Tech’s whole big conversation with Romar was about culture and memory, and he helped Romar restoring a data repository. Between the implication that Tech would have lost his memories and Phee saying, “Tech’s brain was the databank, not mine,” you could easily see that as foreshadowing for Tech getting his memories back. @heyclickadee
*All the little one line reminders and goggles shots up through episode twelve only serve to make the audience want Tech back. They aren’t closure, they’re reminders of his absence. [Tech never being quite mourned.] @heyclickadee
*The goggles are lit, or look like they’re lit, in every scene they’re in except the last one, which sure makes all those earlier shots deliberate. @heyclickadee *CX-2 could have killed all of them at different moments, but chose not to (shooting pilot instead of Hunter for example)
Physical and character similarities:
*the shrimp posture
*the kick in the fight similar to droid kick in S1E1
*the similar hand to hand combat style
*the shooting accuracy- ipsium cave/ plan 99
*the elegant deliberate movement especially of hands and fingers
*the animated head and body when speaking
*the helmet – even has his hairline @jorolle
*the viewfinder similar to Tech's and utilized just as often
*the pouches(!!!)
*the limberness and agility
*the confident capability
*the crouching/getting on one knee - Tech is an infamous croucher!
*the deviant nature – ignoring orders
*the technology know how
*the flying – some say the turn on Teth was a Tech Turn
*the extraness of tool/weapon twirl
*armpad like Tech's datapad @wolveria
*CX-2's ship has similarities to the Marauder @wolveria
*Tech CC-9902 / CX-2 - both end in 2 @wolveria
*We are reminded this season that Tech was especially good at decryption. What do we see CX-2 doing on Phee’s ship? Yeah. @heyclickadee
*Season two went out of its way to establish that Tech has a high pain tolerance, is a good close range fighter (he won a life-or-death fight with a guy when he had that broken femur), quick processing speed, and is an excellent shot. All skills we see CX-2 exhibit. @heyclickadee
The 'British' accent, speech inflection, pronunciation. and vocabulary (this alone is enough to convince anyone...):
'You better get back HERE." - "I know the girl is HERE."
"The fifth IS Omega." - "The girl IS alive."
"Who are you?" - "Who are you?"
"Naveecomputah." - "Neveecomputah."
"DOMICILE." - "DOMICLE."
Cinematic framing similarities:
*the limping
*the coming out of the water @lilacjunimo
*hooking the rappel hook rappelling down was like dangling off the rail car
*the boulder moving
*helmet viewpoint from CX-2 in finale, only BB members ever had that
Conjectural situations of suspicion:
*the beef with Crosshair
*the constant surviving
*the pausing when choking Crosshair
*the pausing to look at Phee
*The implications that Crosshair seems to know something about CX-2 (he wants to get out of dodge when he knows CX-2 is coming), and the intense lingering guilt Crosshair feels—and which is never dealt with! It’s still there through the finale—implying he knows or suspects it’s Tech. @heyclickadee
*“Whatever they did to you, whatever you’ve done, you’re still one of us,” offered by Rex towards the CXs @heyclickadee
*Crosshair’s character arc this season being partly about realizing that anyone can change and that no one is really beyond saving, which would have continued going somewhere if he thought CX-2 was Tech and considered him beyond saving, but then changed his mind and realized he needed to try. Notice that he does not engage CX-2 in 11 like he did in 7, and that this comes after his revelation about giving people a chance in 9. @heyclickadee
*CX-2 is even more Tech like in 11 than he was in 6 and 7. This implies that he could be starting to wake up, and that almost killing Crosshair triggered that. He doesn’t kill anyone except one of his own guys on Pabu (or Phee) even though it would make his job much easier. He even has Hunter and Wrecker in his sights and moves his aim to not shoot them directly. @heyclickadee
*Crosshair has no way to know that the CX’d clones come out different and that their identities are erased unless it happened to someone we know. In fact, there’s not reason for the CX plot to exist unless that horrific thing happens to someone we know. @heyclickadee
*The first episode of the show starts out with Hunter covering for someone who supposedly died in a fall. In fact, there are direct parallels in the lines: “Where’s the Jedi?” “I stunned him when he jumped. He didn’t make it.” vs “Where’s Tech?” “Omega…Tech didn’t make it.” I’m not saying Hunter was covering for Tech; I am saying that is the only place in the script where we see those phrases matched up. @heyclickadee
*Tech being CX-2 would have fit in perfectly with each member of the batch experiencing a traumatic loss (and regaining) of agency that correlated directly to who and how they are as people. @heyclickadee
Foreshadowing lines:
*More machine than man, percentage wise at least.
*Better late than dead.
*See you around, Brown Eyes.
*Tech's not gone.
*The operative's gone rogue.
*Romar saying he's a survivor and Tech's look at him.
*Don't go running off with any pirates or smugglers. @heyclickadee
Abandoned storyline reasons:
*The romance with Phee, surely it wouldn't be abandoned!? 🙄😡
*CX-2's death being anticlimactic
*The finale seeming rushed and incomplete
*Actors saying there were script changes
*CX-2's accent in the finale was not only not like Tech's as it was in previous episodes, it wasn't even a clone accent (wtf was that) signaling a script change
@wolveria made a great analysis here with her Tech-Genda !
@heyclickadee gave a great analysis here and also great evidence, more in comments!
@vivaislenska has a list as well with some of these points!
@eriexplosion has a great analysis here!
Having said that, here are some reasons it may not have been him:
*Too many characters coming back from the dead.
*The way he says 'clones' in Infiltration was more reg accent.
*Tech's line in the cave to Omega which "was a big one to me” in retrospect: "I am aware that you miss him, but we have to adapt and move on."
As for the intentions of the writers to either have been forced to change the script, but can't admit it due to NDAs or if they truly meant for CX-2 to be Crosshair's foil which to me was unclear, especially with all of the evidence above, I don't know. At least they could have made CX-2 talk and move like a reg. Making him talk and walk like Tech was kind of cruel on top of a cruel we already experienced in Plan 99. I am not personally attacking the writers, I still love Season 1 and 2 and most of Season 3, but I wish I knew what happened behind the scenes with this and I know I'm not the only one. I think this is the last time I'll personally address Season 3 or the finale unless to support other commentators/creators and for my own fix-it and art and writing. And I look forward to seeing everyone else's works as well and hope no one gives up this beautiful Batch or fandom as I almost did. Canon seems done with him, he belongs to us now. 💜
And if anyone has anything I missed (I'm sure I'll think of more myself), feel free to comment or reblog with that addition or a link to your own post and/or I can edit the OP to include it and tag you. Also, don't feel like you can't make your own post about this subject! But I do hope this maybe helped anyone still dealing with the 'aftermath' like me, to know you're not alone, and you did not read too much into it.
(In retrospect, I can't believe they killed him though, lol. What the kriff were they thinking!?! #too handsome to die #too awesome to die)

Stellium in planet & house midheaven persona chart
what's a midheaven? how does a stellium effect the midheaven persona?
first things first, the midheaven can tell you about your professional path, social standings, and overall public persona.
more specifically, you can tell who a person is professionally, what kind of public/visible achievements they have in life, the work they are drawn to, how they show up when they are given responsibility, goals they have, how they seek to achieve these goals, etc.
secondly, the midheaven persona can show you a bigger picture of what is in the natal chart regarding the general midheaven.
lastly, a stellium found in your midheaven persona has to be inspected carefully - is it mainly personal planets or generational planets? is it the sign, the house, or both?
example one: a sagittarius stellium spread across the 1h and 2h consisting of the sun, mercury, and pluto. this is a person ripe with knowledge. they are knowledge hungry - they starve for new experiences. they crave life changing experiences that broadens their perception of the world or even the universe. they appear funny and opinionated - with pluto's influence they could have a darker humor and harsh opinions that make them sound pessimistic. they seek a career that helps them grow and learn - when the learning stops, they are likely to seek a new job entirely. they might even change their field entirely. these people might have multiple degrees and certifications that are considered prestigious. these people are often professors, found in leadership roles, self-employed, famous, working alone, finance, journalists, etc.
example two: an aquarius stellium in the 3h consisting of venus, uranus, and neptune. these people follow no path in particular - it is unlikely that they will stay anywhere for the entirety of their life. they are likely to strike out on their own - become an entrepreneur at some point. they prioritize others over themselves where work is involved. often technology is very important to them and their career - this gives ai or online marketing vibes (the aesthetic is everything). these people are often software developers, accountants, crafters, marketers, human resources, writers, event planners, politicians, sales people, information processing, teaching, technological services, etc.

I went diabetic earlier this year, since then I've had far more serious health concerns to really focus on it. I've listened to my primary care and reduced my average a1c from 13 to 7. I've recently been looking into diets and what not that are the best. Currently, I'm trying to cut out all carbs, on my doctor's orders. What I'm seeing though is that a plant based diet is best. It looks like a ketogenic diet is what my doctor wants me to follow? I've watched videos on both diets and I don't know, I agree with you that keto is evil. What are your thoughts about this?
I am not a medical professional so i can't give you medical advice, but I'd say that you should ask your doctor for a referral to a dietician (an RD or an RDN, NOT a "nutritionist" - RD/RDN are protected terms that mean they have completed specific training and have specific board certification) and ask the dietician for advice on your specific dietary needs for your specific medical conditions.
What I can say is that trying to cut all carbs is pretty dangerous - not only is it a macronutrient that our body uses as the most available fuel for your body processes (we *can* get fuel from protein and fat, and ketones can *theoretically* replace sugars for energy but nobody is actually sure how long our bodies can do that and we know it's a LOT less efficient, it's supposed to be less efficient, and what that means is it makes a lot of people feel exhausted when they try it because they literally have less available energy) but also there are certain nutrients that are fortified in the US that are going to be hard to get if you're cutting carbs completely. The example that I always use is folate, because when I had to cut wheat out of my diet (i have grain allergies and celiac disease) I didn't know to supplement it and ended up with a form of anemia and stuff like "fainting" and "dizziness" and "low oxygen saturation."
Which is part of why massive diet changes should be undertaken with the assistance of a dietician! That's why I started studying nutrition! Because nobody supervised my medically necessary diet changes and it went very poorly!
Your GP very likely doesn't have a ton of training on nutrition, and is even less likely to have training on nutrition specific to your condition. If your GP is telling you to cut all carbs, they are telling you to do something dangerous and not nutritionally sound (even really restrictive keto diets call for 20g of carbs a day). Ask either them or your endocrinologist for a referral to a dietician (again, you are looking for a Registered Dietician or a Registered Dietician Nutritionist, RD or RDN, NOT just 'nutritionist') who is familiar with helping diabetics manage their nutrition.
Now, all of that said, in the choice between two fairly restrictive diets I will always say to try the one that requires less effort. It is much easier to eat a plant-based diet long term than a keto diet, and it is vanishingly unlikely that you are going to end up protein deficient (the primary concern for most people who are starting plant based diets, and it's just not all that likely - we need a lot less protein than a lot of people seem to think; though if you're going completely vegan you do need to be careful to supplement your B vitamins and to ensure that you're getting plenty of omega fats)
Because the thing is, for a diet to "work" you have to be on that diet forever. If you stop being on that diet, and stop adhering to its restrictions, whatever benefits exist for that diet go away. So the best diet for *anybody* is one that will provide them with the nutrients they need in a way that they can access regularly and affordably, that they enjoy eating and can comfortably maintain for long periods of time, and that includes a variety of fruits and vegetables because the only diet advice that is nearly universally applicable is that people should be eating more fruits and vegetables and they should be eating a wider variety of them.
I am not a fan of "diets" as a concept and I think that people should think of nutrition in terms of "my diet" not "the diet that is meant to be one-size-fits-all for millions of people that I am attempting." Your diet is what you eat and drink, and that is what you should be looking at adjusting. If you want to reduce carbs in your diet it's better to tweak your consumption than it is totally replace your diet with a one size fits all keto diet. If you want to increase fat in your diet it is better to tweak your consumption than it is to replace your diet with a one size fits all atkins diet. If you want to go plant based I think it is better to start by adjusting your diet to include more plants and to slowly replace animal based products than by trying a one size fits all vegan diet right out of the gate. You can always (and should!) make adjustments to what you eat as circumstances change and you may end up at a vegan diet or a low carb high fat diet and find that that works for you, but part of the reason that I think nutrition studies on diets are so screwy and hard to pin down is because your body is going to *flip the fuck out* when you change from, say, an average american diet to a study-provided Mediterranean diet for a 12 week experiment. If you drastically change your diet all at once and get good results immediately it's very hard to say if those results will be lasting because your body may just adjust to the "new normal" of your diet six months down the line.
But like seriously if your GP is telling you to cut all carbs you need to see a person who specializes in nutrition, and to prepare for your appointment with that person you should make a list of your goals (for you it sounds like you want to manage your blood sugar levels, reduce a1c, and *ask about* low carbs if that is something that interests you), a list of things you think that you'll have trouble with or that you want to include in your diet because they're important to you (if you really like nuts but have to be on a low fat diet, ask if there's a way to work around that with your needs, for example; if there is a cultural staple that you will find difficult to cut from family meals, TELL THEM THAT), a list of questions that you have about different types of diets, and *VERY IMPORTANTLY* information about your food budget and cooking skills. Be clear about it if you can't cook. Be clear about it if you can't afford certain ingredients.
Anyway. Once again, not medical advice, please speak to a medical professional, good luck.

Hey bitches! When it comes to changing careers, is it worth it to enroll in a boot camp or other such school program or would you have better luck going for internships and then working your way up? From my research, people generally seem to think you should work rather than go to school, but for fields like cybersecurity, I feel like you need that basis of coursework to even be hired, is that right?
I think it really depends on the field! There are some jobs that absolutely require professional certifications or academic degrees. Others not so much! I've met a bunch of self-taught coders, self-taught carpenters, and self-taught small business owners, but not a single self-taught surgeon, self-taught somme, or self-taught elementary school teacher.
So research what you'd like to do starting with the path there. Reach out to professionals in your preferred field and see if any will hook you up with an informational interview or a brief email outlining how they got where they are. People will be honest about the requirements it takes to get where they are.
For example: it took ZERO certifications or higher degrees to become loudmouthed online advice-givers, and YEARS of unearned confidence and learning from our own mistakes to deliver the flawless Bitches you see before you today.

Writing tips for death/funerals/bodies from someone who has worked in the funeral industry for over 3 years
-Bodies actually feel warmer immediately after death due to a condition called postmortem caloricity. This briefly raises the body temperature as bacteria within the gut start moving.
-Rigor mortis has three stages: primary flaccidity, active rigor, and secondary flaccidity. Active rigor starts around 3-6 hours after death. Active rigor will make the body stiff, but not immovable. Secondary flaccidity starts around 30-50 hours after death. This is when decomposition will start to be visibly noticeable. In lower temperatures, active rigor may last longer.
-The first sign of active decomposition is a green tinge in the the lower abdomen
-Funeral Directors NEVER read out a will. This is the duty of a probate lawyer
-Hearses never pick up bodies from their place of death. Hearses are used to ceremonially transport casketed bodies from the place of the funeral to the place of final internment. Funeral homes and mortuaries will use unmarked mini vans or transport vans to pick up bodies from hospitals, nursing facilities, homes, etc.
-a dead person’s eyes shouldn’t be cloudy soon after death unless they already had cataracts. Eyes stay relatively clear until a few days after death. If a body was refrigerated or in cold temps, eyes might become cloudy sooner.
-Perfectly frozen bodies will tend to look essentially the same as they did in life, sometimes including having flushed cheeks and fingers. This flush will turn darker and more gray over long periods of time.
-The body of someone who died from asphyxiation (choking, hanging, suffocating, drowning) may appear blue/gray in color briefly after death.
-The body of someone who died from carbon monoxide poisoning will exhibit cherry read discoloration in their face and extremities, and sometimes their whole body.
-Often times people who were older, who had a liver condition, were obese, or were an alcoholic will be severely jaundiced (yellow) after death
-livor mortis is a postmortem condition that consists of blood settling into areas from gravity. For example, someone laying on their back during death will have a purple/gray/red “staining” in their back, butt, backs of their legs etc, parts of the body that are close to the ground.
-For the love of God, organs are not removed during embalming. This is not part of the embalming process. Autopsies may remove visceral organs for examination. If you search “modern embalming process” on youtube or google you should get a run-down on how modern embalming is done. Embalming in most cases is also NOT permanent. The body will start to decompose after about 2-5 weeks.
-“Clinical Death” is a term used for the cessation of hearbeat function, where life can still be restored through intervention. When writing about someone who briefly died but came back because of hospital intervention, you can say they were “clinically dead”. “Brain death” is when brain function has ceased but organ function is maintained through life support. “Biological death” is cessation of organ and brain activity due to lack of oxygen. This is irreversible. “Legal death” is when a medical professional has declared someone as dead and a death certificate is issued.
-NOT ALL STATES HAVE CORONERS. If you are writing a story in a particular US state, do some quick research to see if they have a coroner or a state medical examiner. Coroners are an elected position and don’t need a medical license, they examine evidence from crime scenes and autopsied. Medical examiners perform autopsies and do need a medical license.
-If someone dies under unknown circumstances, they will be subject to autopsy. This can be as benign as having a heart attack or slipping at home, or as malignant as being murdered.
-this is tangental but Cancer does NOT cause your hair to fall out. CHEMOTHERAPY may cause hair to fall out. Not everyone that has cancer or gets chemo will lose hair. People that have cancer in their upper body (breast, lung, throat etc) are more likely to lose hair than people with cancer in their lower body (genital, rectal, colon, intestinal etc)
If anyone can think of anything else let me know!

First, “reinforcement” and “punishment” do not mean “good” and “bad” in behaviourism.
When I used to train service dogs, for example, some of the older trainers still used the old-fashioned, no-longer-recommended method of training a dog to retrieve: they dug their fingernails into the sensitive tip of the dog’s ear until the dog screamed, while holding out a dumbbell.
Tumblr media
As soon as the dog’s mouth closed on the dumbbell, they stopped pinching the ear.
Tumblr media
I refused to use this technique and now, if I were to do so, I would be barred from the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers for doing it. But – and it is important to understand this – it is a “reinforcement technique.”
The dog is rewarded for grabbing the dumbbell by the trainer ending the pain.
Tumblr media
That makes it reinforcement.

Gov X New York needs more love
So I'm gonna give it some with some incorrect quotes he he he
New York : I committed all 7 deadly sins in 30 minutes.
Gov: Wow, I've gotta hear this.
New York : I was angry and envious of my neighbor so I lazily seduced his wife and ate all his groceries and didn't share.
Gov: You forgot pride.
New York : No, I'm pretty proud of this.
----------
Gov: I’m doing what I can to jog your memory.
New York : It’s jogging, I guess. Its tiddies are jiggling a little.
Gov: Nice.
-----
Gov: It doesn’t have a bone.
New York : Then why is it called a boner?
Gov: I’m in love with you.
New York : We called off the prank war last night at midnight, dork.
Gov: I know.
New York : Ah. Okay. Um. Cool. Neat. Very cool. Cool. Cool. Coolcoolcool-
*At a speed dating event*
Gov: Oh wow, people are really shallow.
New York : Consider it a background check. For example: Do you have a death certificate?
Gov: *Checks their pulse* Sorry, not yet.
New York : Good, I'm not fucking a ghost again.
Gov: Hey, wanna take a shower with me?
New York : I have a gun in that nightstand beside the bed. If I ever say no to that question, I want you to take it out and shot me because I’ve obviously gone crazy.
Gov: I want you back...
New York : 3 words, 8 letters. Say it, and I'm yours.
Gov: I got food?
New York : ...you know me so well.
Gov: It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s free: pouring river water in your socks!
New York : Why would I do that?
Gov: It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s free!
Gov: I truly go into housewife mode when I'm someone's soulmate- like, I'll make you pancakes and bacon every morning.
New York : This is a lie.
New York : I'm literally dating them. This is a lie.
New York : THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO COOK A PANCAKE, WHAT IS THIS.
Gov: Do you love me?
New York : We’re literally married.
Gov: Yeah, but as friends or—(this gives off the same energy from yesterday's video)
New York : Did you win? Or just not die?
New York : Either way, hooray.
Gov: ...Is "no" a valid answer?
New York : The hooray is redacted and you frighten me.
New York : English is CRAZY. Oregano is both a spaghetti leaf topping and a form of paper art!
Gov: What is this "paper art" you speak of?
New York : That shit where you make cranes and stuff out of folded paper!
Gov: ... New York .
Gov: Our relationship is strictly professional.
New York , sitting on Gov’s lap: Absolutely. Only on business.
New York : So I can either do something dumb that could very well get me injured or I can listen to Gov and not do the thing,
New York : Well there’s a clear right answer here.
New York : *proceeds to throw five packs of mentos into a barrel full of diet coke*
New York : I owe you one.
Gov: That’s ok. You can just date me and we’ll call it even.
New York : I feel like doing something stupid.
Gov: I’m stupid, do me.
New York : Do you want to explain the text you sent me last night?
Gov: It was autocorrect.
New York : Autocorrect wrote "You're so hot. Please step on me."?
Gov: Yes.
Gov: *Locks New York in the car.* Act like a child, get treated like a child.
New York : What? Isn't it illegal to leave a child locked in a car?
England: I have your boyfriend
New York : What? I don't have a boyfriend...
England: Then who just called me a lowlife bitch and spit in my face?
New York : Oh my god, you have Gov
Gov: You use humor to deflect your trauma.
New York : Awww, thanks-
Gov: That’s not a good thing.
New York : All I’m hearing is that you think I’m funny.
Gov: I want to be with you for the rest of my life.
New York : Damn, that sounds like a marriage proposal.
Gov, getting down on one knee: That's 'cause it is.

Momo i-HAKE! Rabbit TV - Part 1: i-HAKE! ~Momo’s episode 1~

Momo: Yahoo, everyone~! It's Momo from Re:vale!
Momo: Today I'm visiting a community center in Momoharu Town for the “i-HAKE! ~Idol dispatch~" project!
Momo: This town has a big port nearby and is famous for its seafood bowls~
Staff: Momo-san, you sound like you know a lot about this town. Have you been here before?
Momo: I saw its market featured on TV before and thought it looked nice. The rumors were right, it sure is a lovely town!
Momo: Don’t tell me, is the request related to “that”?
Staff: What do you mean by "that"?
Momo: Fish! I could try my hand at butchering a tuna fish for example!?
Staff: Ohh! That would be worth witnessing…!
Momo: Oh, that reaction… Did I actually get it right!?
Momo: Ah, but wait, don’t you need a certificate to process tuna?
Momo: In that case, if Momo-chan needs one... does that mean I’m gonna be shooting here long-term!? Then I’m gonna guess my support guests are either the intelligent Iori or Sougo!
Staff: Momo-san, your deductive skills are sharp!
Momo: Fufu, you can call me the Great Detective Momo-chan!
Staff: Well then, let's call your two support guests on stage to answer your question!
Nanase Riku: Hello, I'm your support guest, Izumi Iori. I like cool and sharp things.
Yaotome Gaku: Likewise, I'm Osaka Sougo. Nice to meet you...Is this how Osaka acts...?
Momo: Yay! bingo! ...or not, it's Riku and Gaku!
Momo: You two found your groove right from the start!
Nanase Riku: Ehehe, that was a good Iori impression, wasn’t it? I’ll introduce myself properly, I'm Nanase Riku! I'll do my best to support you, Momo-san!
Yaotome Gaku: Ahaha. Sorry my impression didn’t go through as well. I'm Yaotome Gaku, I’ll be your support guest.
Momo: Thank you for being here with us today! I feel like I have the strength of a hundred men with you two here!
Momo: By the way, is the request to process tuna...
Nanase Riku: No it’s not!
Yaotome Gaku: Definitely not that.
Momo: You shot it down immediately!? You junior idols are ruthless...!
Yaotome Gaku: Personally I'd like to try it, even if it sounds challenging.
Momo: Seeing Gaku dismantle a fish on screen sounds exciting!
Nanase Riku: I wanna see that!
Momo: Let me know if you decide to take on that!
Yaotome Gaku: Ahaha!
Momo: Alright, let's get back to the real request... What is it?
Nanase Riku: Alright! On the count of three...
Nanase Riku & Yaotome Gaku: "We want you to perform a traditional Japanese drum dance at a festival!"
Momo: A Japanese drum dance!?
Staff: Yes! Now, let's call the leader of the local youth group who made the request! Please come in!
Youth Group Leader: Heya, nice to meet you! ...Whoa! It really is Momo-san from Re:vale! Amazing! Your idol aura is off the charts!
Youth Group Leader: Woah, Riku-kun and Gaku-kun look so cool too! Can I please take a picture later?
Nanase Riku: Wah... Y-Yes! Sure thing!
Yaotome Gaku: Haha, aren’t you quite energetic.
Momo: He's so friendly!
Youth Group Leader: Thanks! It’s not just me, all the guys in our youth group pour their souls into this festival!
Momo: Wow! And you’re inviting us to a festival this spirited? I'm even more excited now!
Momo: Riku! Gaku! Let's make it more exciting together!
Nanase Riku & Yaotome Gaku: Yeah!
Momo: First of all, could you tell us what kind of festival it is?
Youth Group Leader: It's an annual festival in our community! It's called the "Autumn Leaves Festival," and it's a traditional event we hold in autumn.
Momo: What, the day after tomorrow!? So we only have two days left!?
Youth Group Leader: I'm sorry it's right around the corner...!
Yaotome Gaku: We can handle it. Men burn brighter in the face of adversity.
Nanase Riku & Momo: So cool...!
Youth Group Leader: Everyone in town looks forward to the Autumn Leaves Festival even if it’s not a huge one with fireworks. The Japanese drum performance is the highlight of the event and it gets the crowd excited every year!
Momo: Sounds awesome! But can we really be in charge of such an important part of it?
Youth Group Leader: That's exactly why! This year is the Autumn Leaves Festival’s 100th anniversary so we wanna make it even more spectacular than ever.
Youth Group Leader: Momo-san, you're great at hyping up the crowds either at concerts or on TV. So everyone’s energy is surely gonna skyrocket if you’re there performing at the festival!
Youth Group Leader: We'd be very happy if you could help us...!
Nanase Riku & Momo & Yaotome Gaku: ...!
Momo: I can't help but get fired up when you put it like that!
Nanase Riku: Yes! And a Japanese drum performance sounds like it’s gonna be a lot of fun anyways…!
Yaotome Gaku: yeah, I’m pumped!
Momo: Alright then, let’s give it our best for the big performance the day after tomorrow! Let’s fire up the Autumn Leaves Festival with the best performance!!
Nanase Riku & Yaotome Gaku: Yeah!!!
Momo: Oh, these outfits look really cool!
Momo: Don’t they look like we could put on a live performance wearing them?
Nanase Riku: Wow...! Momo-san, it looks so good on you! You too, Yaotome-san!
Yaotome Gaku: You too, Nanase. I think it’d be quite the artistic portrait to play Japanese drums in these fits.
Youth Group Leader: Everyone looks great in those outfits! So cool!
Momo: Thank you!
Youth Group Leader: Wow... I felt my heart race when you winked at me...! I’m kinda nervous...!
Yaotome Gaku: As expected of you, Momo-san. Your fan service is top-notch.
Momo: Wearing this outfit activated my switch.
Youth Group Leader: The outfits are fantastic, but the drums over there are what’s making me really excited!
Momo: I'm itching to practice already!
Youth Group Leader: I’m glad to see you so motivated, Momo-san! I’ll call the drum instructor right away.
Youth Group Leader: The Autumn Leaves Festival would be nothing without him! He's been playing the drums for 50 years! Here’s our instructor, Gen-san!
Gen-san: Nice to meet you all. I'm looking forward to working with you.
Nanase Riku & Momo & Yaotome Gaku: Nice to meet you!
Nanase Riku: The fact that you’ve been playing for 50 years is seriously impressive…!
Gen-san: No, it's nothing. I just happened to pick up the drumsticks at my first Autumn Leaves Festival, and before I knew it, I reached this age.
Youth Group Leader: Everyone who performs the Japanese drum in this town learned the basics from Gen-san. I was still a kid when he first taught me...
Nanase Riku: It has quite a long history...!
Youth Group Leader: Of course! It's a traditional performance that’s been passed down through generations during the festival after all!
Yaotome Gaku: It's a big responsibility...
Momo: Yeah, but it makes me even more motivated. We'll put our hearts into playing the drum!
Gen-san: Thank you. I'm glad to hear that.
Gen-san: By the way, have any of you played the Japanese drum before?
Momo: I played a little during an elementary school sports festival... But I’ve never been taught properly.
Yaotome Gaku: I'm on the same boat over here...Oh, I did practice while playing a few rounds of taiko games before though…
Momo: I'm good at those games!
Yaotome Gaku: You like playing games, don’t you?. ...But this might be different from the real deal…?
Momo: I seeeee! Yuki is complete ass at playing racing games and often ends up driving in reverse, but his real-life driving skills are top-notch…
Nanase Riku: I used to play with toy drums we had at home when I was little...
Gen-san: I understand. Let's start by learning how to stand.
Gen-san: Each one of you stands in front of a drum.
Gen-san: Momo-kun, you stand in front of the large drum in the center. Riku-kun and Gaku-kun, please stand in front of the medium-sized ones on each side.
Nanase Riku: Momo-san's drum is huge...!
Yaotome Gaku: It’s really impactful! It really feels like the main one.
Nanase Riku: Momo-san is in the center!
Momo: The center, huh! Re:vale doesn't really have that so it’s refreshing, I’m kinda happy!.
Nanase Riku: Well, us three are a special unit right now so we'll support you, Momo-san!
Momo: Thanks, Riku! Since I have you two supporting me, I need to do my best too.
Gen-san: Hmmm... I was going to teach you how to stand but you already look graceful. Maybe you should pull your shoulders back a bit to open your chests?
Momo: Opening our chest, huh…Like this?
Gen-san: Ah… Yes, exactly. Your posture is good and so is your intuition. Riku-kun and Gaku-kun have a very upright standing posture, too.
Gen-san: And now, first bow to the drum before holding the drumsticks...
Nanase Riku & Momo & Yaotome Gaku: ...
Gen-san: ...Oho. You've already done it.
Nanase Riku: Ah...! I’m sorry for doing it without your instruction...!
Yaotome Gaku: My body moved on its own...
Momo: Ahaha... I just wanted to greet the drums properly since they'll be helping us at the festival.
Gen-san: Fufu. No need to apologize… There's nothing more to say about your readiness.
Momo: ...Thank you very much!
Gen-san: Well then, you can finally pick up the drumsticks and start playing.
Gen-san: I apologize for the lack of practice time, but I'll teach you everything I can. So please look forward to the Japanese drum performance.
Nanase Riku & Momo & Yaotome Gaku: Yes! We're looking forward to working with you!
Momo: I'll pour my heart and soul into it so that the townsfolk can also call this year's Autumn Leaves Festival a good one!

Hello! Do you have any advice on getting into freelance coding or remote jobs in the field? I'm having trouble with my current endeavors of applications and my current customer service job isn't doing me well enough to want to stay, so I'm hoping for progress sooner rather than later. Anything helps, thank you!!
Hiya 🖤
Thanks for reaching out with your question about getting into freelance coding or remote jobs. Making a transition can be challenging, but with dedication and strategic steps, you can definitely progress in your career.
Firstly, consider specializing in a specific field of computer science rather than trying to learn everything. This will help you become an expert in a niche, making you more attractive to potential clients or employers.
The big thing to look at is (1) what specific job do you want? Don't know yet? That's the first thing you need to find out. (2) Found the job you want? Go to this website "roadmap.sh" and click the job title you want and look at the roadmap to become it. (3) Have an idea of what you need to learn? Now study :)
Here are some extra key pieces of advice:
Tumblr media
Public Code Repositories
Showcase your coding skills by contributing to public repositories on platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or others. This allows potential employers to see your projects and assess your coding abilities.
Online Certifications
Earn certifications from reputable online courses like Freecodecamp, Codecademy, or SheCodes (if you're a woman). Displaying these certifications on your LinkedIn profile adds credibility for remote work or even freelance work because then clients will trust your skills more if it's back up with evidence (projects and/or certificates).
Links: "Massive List of Thousands of Free Certificates" / "The Udemy courses I use" / "FreeCodeCamp" / "Codecedemy" / "SheCodes" / "Udacity" / "Coursera" / "Google"
LinkedIn Profile
Revamp your LinkedIn profile to reflect your job title. Use a title that aligns with your dream job, and highlight your skills, certifications, and projects. You don't even need work experience OR do what a lot of my developer mates do have no work experience and set your "job" as a self-employed freelance developer... little cheat there~!
Links: "LinkedIn Career Explorer" / "Tips for speaking to/reaching out to Recruiter" / "Tips for Landing Your First Entry-Level Developer Job" / "Career Services for Web Development" / "The Talent Cloud Community: Careers Workshop"
Volunteering
Help someone out with a project for their business or whatever. For example, I helped a guy I met in a programming discord server build his portfolio page for free, but I care more about the experience. Search online for volunteer jobs with your dream job title e.g. Volunteer App Develope, but in your country would be better. The experience you can you can add to your LinkedIn. the project you work on you can add to your resume/experience.
Link: "SkilledUp Life"
Networking
Connect with professionals in your field on LinkedIn, even if you don't know them personally. Growing your network can open up opportunities and expose you to valuable insights. Events in person or online, servers (I found volunteer opportunities here), forums, Twitter (I found some mates on there), Instagram (another place I found developer friends). Networking can even help with building group projects~!
Link: "Tips for speaking to/reaching out to Recruiter"
Project Building
Work on both small and big projects to demonstrate your capabilities. Highlight these projects on your resume and portfolio.
Links: "Building projects after learning a new concept advice" / "Tips from learning using multiple resources" / "Tips on learning programming with ChatGPT" / "Harvard University Free IT Courses" / "The Udemy courses I use" / "Free Programming Books" / "Coding Advice for beginners" / "800 free Computer Science classes"
Online Presence
Share your learning progress and projects on various platforms like Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, or YouTube. Employers often appreciate candidates who actively showcase their work and commitment to learning. I made a post for Tumblr coding blogs:

Good luck!!

The trolley problem in corporate life.
Me in a business review meeting:
Idiot 1: we have to change the process
Me: nope, you have to get your team in order and actually follow it for the process to work. Then give me concrete examples of what is not working so we can improve. And if they don’t have the capabilities and skills to deliver even to the bare minimum standard it’s a you problem. They also need to work on their basic business vocabulary. It is not my responsibility to explain adults and very expensive professionals at that what common words mean.
Idiot 2: the process is bad, cumbersome and it’s too much documentation required.
Me: you haven’t launched a single product in the past ten years. 86% of the post mortem sessions of the past two years are your failed projects. The root cause of each one of them was failure to adhere to the process leading to non-compliance with government agencies, quality controls, financial decisions made by the wrong people failing SOx and a total lack of documentation that would allow us to dispute the patent infringement claims as well as maintain the certifications that cost a lot of time, money and effort to get. I can pull the figures for the money to at went down the drain with all of this if you like me to illustrate it for better understanding.
Idiot 1 and 2: it would be better if take this offline
Me: nope. You were ready to slander me, my competence and expertise in public. We will continue to discuss it in this forum since it is a point in the agenda. We are not dropping because you can’t prove that the process is inherently bad but you exposed yourselves on how incompetent your teams are. And how you are working against my function and failing to lead by example.
And this, kids, is how I solved the trolley problem today.

(making this post for the second time because I done goofed and posted it instead of saving it as a draft)
I'll take the occasion to thank everyone for your support for Anemone's character sheet!
...aaaand it has come to my attention that so far she's received 4 different marriage proposals, so. I'm afraid you guys will have to form a line or something
Tumblr media
Now, onto answering your questions! I thought to group them all here as to not flood anyone's dashboard ->
@lixenn asks the following:
Tumblr media
• Actually, astigmatism! Caligari offered her corrective surgery multiple times, but she never really followed through with it. Also, she likes to wear them for fashion and has multiple frames for any occasion.
-
Tumblr media
• I'd say she's directly managing around 10 people. She's been selecting the researchers herself. As for the personal assistant, I have yet to assign her one, so thanks for the heads-up as always Lix. 🩵
-
Tumblr media
• Your assumption is correct. Caligari Is a medical doctor, but his knowledge seems to be... uncomfortably vast. He taught Anemone everything needed to take the place of the late Dr. Argenti. She specializes in genetics, because it's believed that the Pallid Flame's origin lies in the genetic history of the Cavalieri.
-
Tumblr media
• Technically no, she doesn't have one and can't get one. The academic career of a Cavalieri, no matter the field, is limited to the family's context. External professionals that choose to cooperate with the Cavalieri (for example, Argenti) are also advised to keep their public presence to the bare minimum, and are constantly kept in check. They have nothing that can officially attest their level of knowledge in public institutions - hell, some of them don't even have a birth certificate to their name.
-
Tumblr media
• fortunately not They met during routine blood work, while Anemone was still studying to become a researcher (and before her transition). Myr commented something nice about her painted nails, she was still an awkward little nerd at the time so that gesture was really appreciated. With time, Anemone got inspired by Myr's confidence and refusal of the family's ways.
-
Tumblr media
• She likes to practice nail art! It's not uncommon for Lidija to get a call from her asking her to come over so Anemone can let the stress out by panting Lidija's nails. Myr refuses to participate
-
@einsatzzz asks the following:
Tumblr media
• Yes! Or at least, they try to be. Anemone is super busy with managing the whole Second Branch, so sometimes they won't see her for weeks. Also, it's kinda risky for her to be seen with Myr often, given she's seen as a troublemaker, but she tries her best to be there (even though it's a really cat Vs dog relationship). Since Myr is often not allowed in recreational spaces, they like to spend their time outside doing mostly things that Myr doesn't get to do due to her restrictions (ex. Picnics, keeping Myr's appearance in check, walks, board games that Lidija sneaks out/Myr steals from the break rooms...)
-
@ravensilversea asks the following:
Tumblr media
• I chose to keep this one for Anemone, since I was already working on her sheet when it arrived. She's a really pragmatic person, and so typically tries to be rational about things. When she does need to wind down or stop her brain from spiraling, she likes to read books. She's really into anthropology, and...bunnies. Manuals, studies, photo books. She's always wanted to keep one, but never felt truly ready.

Hey Jesus. Any advice for writing a resume? I'm trying to get a new job so I want to have a good one.
Actually, yeah. I do have some advice. I've been looking over resumes for a minute because, uh, Heaven always needs new employees.
Be specific about numbers and achievements. "I collected and processed a total of 700,000 damned souls during all 7 years of the Black Plague project in Europe" is a lot better than "I followed up on deliverables to produce a quality product."
Jargon is super obnoxious, but it shows people that you can communicate in the preferred terms of your field. Brush up on industry terms and know how to use them, and be able to define them in your own words. I know what people mean when they say "The white light at the center of the universe that is the Source of all love, knowledge, and energy," but if you can just say "Pleroma" I know that I don't have to waste my breath explaining basic concepts to you. We can use three syllables instead of struggling to communicate.
Don't be shy about your personal skills or hobbies or volunteer projects, but put them in their own section as certifications or special projects or skills or something. If you can translate "Dungeons and Dragons" to "Weekly team strategy and problem-solving training exercise meetings" you can figure this part out.
Have a cover letter template that you can tailor to an individual company's needs. Work on a few paragraphs that you can plug stuff into, then put where you need to add details in brackets. Always include one if there's space. Writing a cover letter from scratch every time you apply to something is a giant pain if you're doing mass applications.
Err on the side of professionalism whenever possible. Proofread exhaustively and check with a style guide. Have an email that's basically your name for work. Keep it to one page. Make it look a little snappy, but only a little. Put things in their own section in ways that show you know how to use a word processing program for more than just typing (well-justified columns, for example). Extremely professional font. Different industries and companies might have slightly different standards for things, but whatever you do don't skimp on the effort and small details. Do NOT put in the random stuff you like unless you're sure it will increase your potential value to the company.
Good luck! You're going to need it if you're asking Jesus Christ for help with your resume, frankly. I had one job, carpenter, and as I believe you know I was not very good at it. I have never had to apply for a single job in my life.
(I'm always happy to help with whatever I can, but frankly I've been expecting a lot more theological questions.)

How does one go about getting a quilt appraised?
To get a quilt appraised, you need to find someone who is trained to appraise quilts (it is good to make sure that they are accredited first, a good certification to check for is the Professional Association of Appraisers – Quilted Textiles certification, or the American Quilter's Society). Their websites have a list of appraisers who you can make appointments with. You can also sometimes find appraisers at quilt shows. You will need to bring the quilt in person, and it is recommended that you bring any purchase receipts for materials and patterns if you made the quilt.
Quilts with sentimental value, substantial costs and materials, or quilts made with the intention of donation (example, charity raffle of museum) should be appraised. This is so you can have insurance should anything happen to it, and in the case of donations, the opportunity to claim tax deductions for a donation.
You can also get an appraisal to assist in pricing a quilt if you're selling them.
Keep in mind that the appraisal quote may need to be updated every few years or so, because the value of things may change.
Hope this helps!
