"Ohhh, my gosh, what did he do, yank poor Morgana's tail? Yikes... W-well, don't worry, Senpai. We'll find him, I promise." Making promises like that was a bit dangerous, of course, especially since she couldn't guarantee Morgana's safety. But for all she'd known him, Morgana was such a smart cat. He'd always listen to what she had to say, and he'd purr up a storm when she was upset. Even though she wasn't his human, she still felt like Morgana was a good friend to her, and he deserved that much respect for being such a good boy.

As they spoke, her eyes remained vigilant, her gaze sweeping across the park with full seriousness. On the way out from the train, she had stopped by a convenience store she often went to and bought a can of wet cat food. The cats in the pet shelter she worked at always made a fuss whenever she had it in her hands, knowing it was time to eat, and they flocked around her so much it was hard to even take one more step without accidentally hurting one of them. If the cats at her shelter liked it that much, she hoped Morgana would, too. Perhaps the combined familiar smell of Kurusu, herself, and the cat food would be enough to draw him out.

When she pulled the cat food out of her purse, she caught the attention of several strays, but she knew Morgana's fur pattern too well to know it wasn't him. They just had to be patient.

"What other places does Morgana tend to frequent? I know he separates from you quite often, but if he hasn't returned home by now, something might've happened. He's very smart. He doesn't normally get endangered like this, right? I've even seen him looking both ways before crossing the street." It wasn't uncommon nowadays for animals to do that, especially if they lived in a place with frequent traffic. But it was still considered a feat of great intelligence for an animal to do that regardless, even if it was common sense to a human.

Sylvia knew Morgana wasn't the type to get flattened by a truck because he accidentally stepped out on the road too early. Morgana was cautious like that. He also tended to be very slippery when someone wanted to snatch him up and he didn't consent to it. He was lithe, agile, and quick-witted. The kind of cat that you could trust to do errands for you, if he was willing. A simple fight with one of his friends shouldn't have bothered him this much, as long as the friend apologized with some kind of peace offering. Then again, it seems it was too soon for them to apologize...

Where would Morgana go if he was this upset? Surely he had to be somewhere in the vicinity. He'd never stray so far from Kurusu for so long... right?

She was so kind to someone like him. Most people didn't bat an eye unless it was their cat that went missing or his own group of friends who were just as worried about Morgana's whereabouts. The pink-haired girl wasn't wrong about something setting him off, but explaining everything would take way too long or rise suspicion. Their activities had to be kept secret.

But Ryuji loved the fame and thrill of it, foolishly so, if he could judge him.

A little sigh was let out before he spoke. "You know how my friend Ryuji likes teasing him? This time it got a little too far, and Morgana took off to...who knows where. I don't know where he is. I've looked everywhere for him. It's like... I can't function without him." His hands were shaking too. He hated showing his weaknesses to other people, especially to a kouhai he barely knew.

bad end: royal trio try, struggle, and fail to rescue any of the thieves from the delusion, or find the route to the treasure. with maruki's overwhelming hold on the thieves(+confidants) and his staggering security + ability to manipulate the design of his palace at will... (<- i elaborate on this in my shsm fic that i uploaded a while back but maruki tries to psych the three of them out of navigating his palace by hacking at all the infiltration routes they try. and since its just the 3 of them it's pretty easy to block them off) akira goro and sumire do their damnedest but they come up just short

anyway TLDR they just can't crack it and it's over.

in this case, since they don't get to rescue the thieves, they spend even more time together than Usual Long Winter AU. so i feel they're even closer than usual.

on 2/2, they stay in and sleep in, idly talk about anything other than the circumstances that they're in. they waste the day away and then fall into an endless slumber.

in the first page goro & sumire look kinda discontented, but after akira breaks the ice a little, they manage to fall asleep (more) peacefully.

im not gonna lie this treads into like TOO MUCH HOPELESS ANGST for me but also i had the idea listed down in my Royal Trio Ideas List so i had to draw it..eventually... so. (flips through stack of ideas) erm. heyyyy (i also think it turned out MORE SAD when i drew it HKDJSGSKJDW when i just wrote down the idea it was like kinda just silly)

at the end of the day, the key difference is one is a top and the other is a bottom.

ok but seriously, they’re vastly different characters on a fundamental level:

- light was handed everything him on a silver platter: family, friends, looks, intellect, a comfortable life… as a bastard child of a sex worker and now an orphan, goro had to fight his way to his current position and will always harbor a terrible sense of inferiority (light is completely confident in his absolute superiority, Always (that’s why the challenge of L sent him off the deep end of obsession lol))

- light genuinely sees himself as a hero, while goro would like to feel the same but is nonetheless depressingly aware of his villain’s journey (his undesirable position as the detective vs the underdog phantom thieves, his string of assassinations, his ultimate dirty bloody goal, etc.).

- light’s motive is about the world’s salvation, cleansing, the birth of his ideal reality (very messianic of him with the slightest loving tinge of mary cradling her lamb hahaha) while goro is laser-focused on ruining this one asshole’s life in particular, vengeance and revenge at once! one’s focused on rebirth, and the other gunning straight for death! they both use murder to get what they want but light probably floats around thinking himself so clean and divine as mother of the world (ignorance is bliss) while goro is constantly desperately trying to cover up his suspiciously red hands with his gloves hehehe… they’re both constantly striving for perfection, just with varying levels of self-awareness!!

- goro is a canonical loner; light has a horde of friends; this is probably due to a difference in public persona! goro is an untouchable idea of what he thinks a human should be and is completely out of the loop when it comes to normal social interactions (believes opening with hegel will instantly endear himself to the average person (luckily he inflicted that upon akira who is decidedly not average in the slightest)), light is implied to be more down-to-earth and even slightly goofy (he’s gaming decorum like an advanced speedrunner)! it’s probably good how distant goro is, because getting any closer to him will allow you to see how off-putting and uncanny he is, sorta like an AI-generated image—seams in the wrong places and far too much teeth LOL. meanwhile light has this whole shebang so thoroughly figured out that he’s BORED with it all! he’d like to move on to the next game (with L), thank you!! light definitely still exudes uncanny creepiness (it’s his natural state of being) especially when he zones out or starts hysterically cackling out of nowhere at his own thoughts, but he’s a hundred times better at masking compared to goro due to a better upbringing. goro is starved for the adoring friends he sees akira easily picking up one after another; light couldn’t give less of a shit because he’s always had those trivial luxuries! he’d much rather prefer an adoring WORLD!!

- then there’s the difference in how they die… one started out surrounded with company but ultimately died alone, while it’s the opposite for the other (if you count the de-realization of maruki’s reality as goro’s “death” (which i don’t)).

- in conclusion, light and goro are like funhouse mirror reflections of each other!!! one is a pampered lapdog getting a taste of rabies and letting loose, while the other is a starving wolf trying to domesticate itself for treats and headpats!! and i <3 them both!!!!!

anyways i may be wrong about light because im going purely off of fics, tumblr shitposts, and my own imagination :] feel free to school me in a way that won’t destroy my delusions!

As the leader of the Phantom Thieves, Akira is busy preparing for heists and fighting Shadows. But not just for being a leader of a mysterious infamous group, he’s busy everywhere. Ranking up confidants, fusing Personas, stocking supplies, studying, Akira’s been dealt with a lot of responsibilities since he got to Tokyo.

Eating at Big Bang Burger all the time and doing those challenges isn’t healthy on a regular basis. He does eat out with the team and his confidants sometimes. And Sojiro does cook breakfast for him on occasion.

But he will have a tendency to overwork himself and forget his own needs. He’s also taking care of Morgana, another mouth to feed besides himself. During lunchtime, Akira would either share his meal or just give it to Morgana.

Though since Morgana is known to keep track of his bedtime, the cat will make reminders for him to eat. The talking feline does pride himself for being responsible.

But you making food for him will send his heart soaring. He’s a lanky male, not too thin, but not so muscular, so he could still go for some more meat in his bones. It’s not only a sweet gesture but also an efficient way to help feed your hardworking boyfriend. He may even blush a little from the adoring sentiment.

Making bentos for him? Touching. Making matching bentos for the two of you? Adorable. Especially if you’re putting great details in the lunches, like making cute faces in the shape of animals and such. Akira will tease that it looks far better to admire, but he’ll happily finish the bento until there’s nothing left. He’s never been a picky eater so he’s open to try anything you make.

Learning about your cooking skills definitely impresses him. Akira likes to improve his own culinary abilities. Working with Sojiro behind the counter helped him discover that passion. So being a phenomenal cook, he’d gladly ask for tips and advice once in a while.

Akira finds himself astounded that someone like him, someone carrying a false criminal record serving probation in an unfamiliar place alone, could have such a loving girlfriend caring for him. He always makes sure to not let you forget his own affections and how much everything you do means.

It becomes a routine for you two to meet up at lunchtime and eat together. Sitting side by side closely, across with legs touching. There’s no doubt that Akira will happily reciprocate in taking turns making meals for you both. A good way to practice his cooking skills despite his busy schedule. If you were to ever be unable to make it, Akira will feel your absence greatly.

Breakfast? Probably best to have something easier to eat as you walk to Shujin side by side on weekdays. It is true as they say that to a person’s heart in general is through the stomach. If you stopped by carrying food filled containers to eat at LeBlanc, Sojiro has no problem with it. He does agree that Akira should be mindful of eating. Depending on if said containers are washable, he’ll let you keep them at the café until you take them back.

Feeding each other is a thing in private. When no one is there, Akira will offer a piece of food to your lips, expression cheeky. It’s something you’d only do behind closed doors.

And in reverse, he’s happy to welcome a spoonful from you. Wiping a stain on his mouth gets him a bit bashful. A napkin? Cute. Your own tongue? Now his face got even redder.

But beware, the leader of the Phantom Thieves has tricks up his sleeve. He’ll reciprocate the action in a sneaky way to tease back.

Dates spent cooking and eating together is very domestic and wholesome. Trying new recipes, sharing some, it’s a lovely way to spend time with one another. Though you’d probably spend that in your home rather than his. Because as nice as the coffee and curry is at the café, you’d have more privacy and space to work on. Akira always has a look in his eyes when he gazes upon you, so much so it makes you bashful every time you see it.

Food turns into a new love language between you.

And once you become adults? Naturally, living together is expected after the deepening of your relationship growing from being high school sweethearts. Cooking together becomes a real staple in your household. Working different jobs may not always let you cook together, but having the thoughtfulness of making food for the other is still as meaningful.

Do you know when Akechi first starts calling Akira by his given name? I noticed while playing 3rd semester he was doing it during the 2/2 scene, but it made me wonder where else it happens. Due to fanon content I've always been under the impression he *never* calls Akira anything other than Joker or Kurusu.

Oh, that last is definitely not the case. But you have to remember how at ease Akechi is with etiquette—he switches between names for people based on context, on things like who he's speaking to. For instance, if Sojiro is around, Joker appears to be Kurusu-kun, no matter when it is.

Akechi, actually, rarely calls Joker by name at all. Here's the tiny handful of times he does. tl;dr: he starts out with Kurusu-kun in June, is still using it in September, but is using just plain Akira by the time of Sae's Palace. It looks like the Akira-kun phase may be very short, and probably takes place in October, if it happens at all. Overwhelmingly, he refers to him as Joker, in the Metaverse.

In the script, he has sets of greetings that are hard to nail down to a date or location, but which segue from Kurusu-kun, through Akira-kun, to just Akira.

In July, when he runs into Joker and Yoshizawa in Shibuya, Akechi uses his family name. "Huh? Kurusu-kun?"

In confidant 6, which unlocks on 9/3, Akechi again uses Kurusu-kun... but in Leblanc, in front of Sojiro.

On 9/21, outside Penguin Sniper, he still greets Joker as Kurusu-kun.

By the Sae's Palace arc, Akechi is using Joker's given name, without the -kun: "Akira".

In the engine room, Akechi uses Joker's given name. "I wonder why we couldn't have met a few years earlier, Akira..."

In the third semester, Akechi uses Joker's given name, without an honorific: "Akira". But, when he responds to Sojiro's "We're closed" on 1/2, he uses the family name. "I merely wished to speak with Kurusu-kun for a moment."

He has one use of Akira-kun in the third semester—but in the deleted Mementos mission, so it might just be an uncorrected error. On the other hand, Akechi is congratulating him, so it might be intentional—whether Akechi is sincere or not, suffixes can be affectionate, like that Goro-san that throws him so off-balance.

3rd Person's P.o.v

Y/n is slowly walking on her way to Thor's room where he is currently healing from the wounds Lu bü delivered to him. Her thoughts then lingers back to what happened in the fight. 'what or who could have been the one to fight instead of him?' 'I know sacrifice is a must but what could have been?'.

She cost another life. Lu bü and his army. She cost them their lives. She knew how Lu bü's army can be. She hated it, she hates how she decided to ignore what just happened.

"It hurts so much doesn't it?" A voice interrupted her running thoughts.

She turned around and saw Jack walking towards her.

"What are you doing here?" Y/n asked him.

"When you passed by I can't help but I want to talk about the color you're emmiting. Sadness doesn't suit you" Jack only replied.

Y/n then frowns "You do know everyone and anyone can have emotions you know?"

"But not you-'' jack point a finger at y/n "you always emit a confidence,Joy and love especially whenever with 'Him'. But right now your emmiting a very negative emotion. You should know that he most likely wants you to look forward. Everyone's life is at stake and you should keep moving forward" Jack said.

'He is right' y/n can only thought, just like that she smiled to jack. "Thank you, Jack I appreciated that."

"no problem my lady" Jack smiled and bow to her.

"Weren't you supposed to be in your quarters? Having yourself some tea and watching Akira fight? The fight is about to start" Y/n wondered as they heard Zeus being introduced.

"Yes youre right, I shall get going be careful on your way to your crush" Jack said smiling to y/n slowly leaving.

Y/n then burst into a blushing mess. Then jack left her while chuckling to himself. While y/n just grumbled to herself about jack and Akira's relationship.

Arriving to her destination, y/n knocked on the door before hearing a reply to which a sign for her to enter his chamber.

Inside can be seen Thor sitting on his bed checking the wounds Lu bü manage to give him. But upon hearing the door open he saw the Lady he wants to be with forever.

The moment I laid my eyes upon him I knew he was thinking about Lu bü too.

"Are you alright now?" I ask him

I don't know why but whenever his eyes is on me I can't help for my heart beats intensely fast whenever I gaze into him yet I do not know if I'm only nervous because he can kill me on the spot or is it another? But I wouldn't know.

I turned to the side and I walk over to a seat nearby his bed and I sat down and kept my emotions in check as I gaze to his eyes.

"So... I suppose Lu Bü-san has left a mark on you? I don't mean the scars he gave" I said as I wait for his reply but then Thor tilted his head and look at me curiously.

"You know Lu bü?" Thor questioned as he look at me curiously and I smile softly and I towards the window.

"Yes... Lu bü and I met by chance he's such a difficult person to meet but he's a friend" I sighed and smiled as I remembered the memories I have with him. I look up to meet his gaze again before I smiled softly again "So shall we watch the next fight?"

Umeki found the front seat to the humanities side, to anyone, she must be looking around to look at the arena full of Gods and Human alike but no, Umeki can feel it even if the others are guarding outside of Bifröst or inside some demons must have sneaked out already or probably the fight has started outside. Turning her gaze she looks at Minato who approaches her and pats her back "Don't worry too much about your twin you know he can do it, it's not like we needed a völundr, we already are capable of" he spoke quietly while looking down at the arena, umeki couldn't help but get quiet and continued to watch the fight.

The fight has started after Zeus's introduction as he charges Akira first "I won't hold back brat" Zeus yelled before throwing the first punch that Akira, easily dodges. Akira just tilt his head and looking at Zeus with a deadpan look "huh?"

Zeus then throws another and Akira easily dodges it again...

have you posted about your characterization of Joker? i really like your takes about him and would love if it were explained, but understand if not

i don't think i've posted about it explicitly beyond writing fics and comics, but i do think about it a lot

i acknowledge that everyone picks different options for their akira(/ren, i'll be calling him akira here in case i have to differentiate between his real world and metaverse personas), but imo there are way more basic facts about akira that are the same regardless of what dialogue options you pick than people act like there are

he's quiet

he's not really a silent protagonist unless you're incredibly broad with the term, but he still isn't exactly the most talkative guy. you may be saying mr argent sunshine, this is obvious, why are you bothering to state this. well you see i often joke that i have a test where i back out of a fanfic if anyone describes akira as "loud", "talkative", or anything else to that effect. i have seen this so often and it drives me insane. especially when people portray him as like, a quirky hyperactive ditz constantly saying stupid shit...? people can be funny while saying very few words, guys. (sometimes it's even funnier to say less. wild concept.)

also, while the doylist purpose of his quietness is obvious - making the player pick a line every other sentence would get annoying and would force them to write and record way more dialogue to account for all the responses - i think it's interesting to examine from a watsonian perspective. was he always quiet, or is it a mask in the same way as the glasses are? i personally imagine him always being on the quiet side, but it's a space you could play in.

2. caring so deeply about everyone and everything all the time

this to me is the real core of akira's character. the defining moment of his whole deal to me is the one-two punch of him saving a woman he didn't know and losing everything for it, and, when arsene asks, him saying doing that was not a mistake, i'd do it again if i had to, even though the woman he was trying to save turned around and lied to the police, resulting in his arrest. he comforts ann when they barely know each other, he awakens to arsene in the first place while trying to protect ryuji, who he's known for all of ten minutes. yes, he loves his friends and found family dearly (and i'm sure when i started talking about things that are true no matter what option you pick someone went "oh like how akechi will still be akira's wish in maruki's reality no matter what you do", yeah, that too) but he's also ready to throw himself into harm's way for the sake of people he's never met.

(if someone wants my full rant on this point ask me about sojiro akira parallels but a side point to this is that he's deeply unselfish, to a level that may not be healthy in the long run. he just so happens to have gotten the exact magic powers to make his heroics feasible. i'm just saying, without getting persona powers he still would have managed to draw kamoshida's anger, and he would have been expelled and probably gone to juvie! but he still would have done it because he can't just look away.)

3. oh god i don't want this to turn into a whole full rant so now i have to pick one last point then shut up. oh god oh fuck. i could talk about akira forever but nobody wants to sit through that. let's talk about masks.

i don't think of joker as The Real Akira as much as his metaverse appearance is another facet of him. looking at him from another angle. i think his flair for the dramatic is fun and i love him, but i also think the concept of theatrics and illusion and trickery (ha) being built so deep into him is very important. even though it's always for the greater good, he does tell people what they want to hear a lot (off the top of my head, maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of his non-PT confidants are at least somewhat based on false pretenses right from the start, even if they make him come clean in the end, and a lot of the rest involve akira being exactly who the person needs him to be.) you could argue that akira's always pretending to literally everyone fully all the time (I don't think this is true; i think he obscures parts of himself to make himself more useful or palatable to others, but i think arguing his connections are inauthentic is a) edgelord bullshit or, more commonly, shipper brain if they're arguing only one connection is authentic b) just not consistent with the way people work. i'm personally of the opinion that we're all always presenting tailored versions of ourselves to everyone around us - i'm ruder around my friends but kinder around my parents; openly ramble about my interests to my online friends but tend to keep a lid on them irl - these don't make some of my connections fake, it's just a difference in the facets people see. i don't think akira's tendecy to present different masks around different people is neccasarily the best way to go about life (in that i think it Will lead to an identity crisis inevitably) but it's definitely A Thing!

A persona au idea I've been playing with for a while is a wildcard akechi au where he gets a persona for every confidant he has.

Still debating whether he gets them just after forming the confidant or at rank 10 because I want Loki to be his devil confidant and shidos one but to get to rank 10 he'd probably need Loki in the first place. Robin hood is his first persona similar to Arsene or orpheus

Also he absolutely gets a new outfit per persona I want to dress him up (I have deemed this the magical girl akechi au mentally due to that( I also think he'd also have several interactions with the thieves while in different costumes)

Anyways actual persona ideas I have for him.

Pinocchio is a big one, I'm not sure if theres actually a pinocchio persona in any of the games but I figure it fits what personas tend to be based off really well and like. The Themes are so peak. Not sure what confidant I'd actually relate it back to though. The star perhaps?

I think sherlock could also work as one since jokers persona is Arsene lupin (or herlock? I actually havent read the lupin books yet so I know more about normal sherlock) i can also just see akechi not enjoying having sherlock as a persona at all, too stereotypical in his eyes. Probably from saes confidant? (If this were to be a full fledged au I'd probably make ocs for him to have confidants with)

Those are my two main ideas but I also think giving him a persona based off of Christian myth could be neat but I'd have to do more research. And giving him a persona of the greek goddess nemesis is also a idea I like but again I'd have to do more research

Some silly lil extra persona ideas I'm iffy on are doing one based off Jekyll and hyde because the themes just fit him very well (if anyone's actually reading this in the books Jekyll very much is just one person who uses the persona of hyde to let out any dark desires look if Arsene lupin can become a persona so can he)

The snow queen or the boy from the snow queen (basically the snow queen is the force of snow and cold, nature given a face. She fits more as a persona but less for akechi. While the boy is a kind little boy who when two shards of a evil mirror fall into his eye and heart it makes him both see the world as ugly and it freezes his heart. Eventually hes kidnapped by the ice queen and becomes her servant I guess?? Hes basically her pet in the literal sense) this would be his hermit persona I'd imagine.

Not sure what his fool (akira) one would be. I could keep it as hereward just change it to it's own being instead of a fusion? And with a funky new outfit of course

Nice parallels between Negai no Astro and Tokyo Aliens

I mean, I have 1 person that has caused me to write this, say hi to @chifuyusun but these things ARE nice and maybe someone will start the other manga in the parallels so pls look at my ramblings.

Yes it's just the first chapter for Negai no Astro but I feel some of these are fair assumptions.

There is technically 1 spoiler for Tokyo Aliens but I'm confident it comes out quickly in the main story so I don't think it's a major thing to spoil.

Also I haven't looked at the spoilers for Negai no Astro so I could be very wrong but I would like to not know it from spoilers thanks

Yes I am aware these things are not exclusive of these two series, but it's still nice to see them.

Founded family (and golden retriever MC)

Negai no Astro: they are litteraly a bunch of children that the old man liked and he adopted them all. Hibaru cares deeply for them, he doesn't seem to consider the family being such only on paper, but he wants to protect them and be good for them (such a precious boy)

Tokyo aliens: well, here it is definitely not as in NnA ops. But Akira is desperate to feel the warmth of a family getting closer to the other characters which do seem to look out for him and care for him. No I don't mean Amamiya, he is excluded. But the others are going "well, must adopt him now". And don't get me started on poor Sho which is in a DESPERATE need for a hug and finally with Akira he finding his own peace and opening up more.

Hands for protection

I just find it fun that both our MC don't have a magical weapon or something similar for their battles (for now at least). Hibaru got his magical/super powered hands and immediately used them to protect his brother and help him. When Akira had to chose his battle weapon, he decided to go for gloves (see Father I miss you section).

Idk but there is something so... soft? Precious? In specifically power-upping (?) their hand to protect people? Usually you see people do it for violence, punching and breaking, but them?? They are using them for the others. Hibaru is more focused on attack for now, while Akira on defence but there is something beautiful in seeing them with their hands up ready to protect people.

Spear and Shield - covering for each other

I am a sucker for one thing that is separated in two and those two make the complete again together. They complete each other, backing up the other's weakness. SO OF COURSE I AM EATING GOOD WITH NEGAI NO ASTRE. Spear and shield??? Probably fighting together in the future having to rely on someone else? Sign me up. I need this aspect to be central and not forgotten pls Wakui I always believed in you.

And for Tokyo Aliens you may ask? You are adding to that beautiful trope also the emotional compensation between Akira and Sho. They cover for each other (probably will happen more in the future, poor Akira is still struggling) and well balance each other weak points. Sho is the spear and Akira is the shield (that quite litteraly saved lives, and it was very pretty). I can write an essay but it would have too many spoilers so I will stop now.

Father I miss you (and Mother is MIA I guess)

As the rules established: you can't have both parents. And ofc, why should you be able to keep the father with you??? Ofc they have to die. I am not confident for Tokyo Aliens but that is just me.

I would like to congratulate to the spirit of the fathers because they raised precious boys that love people. But I found interesting how in both cases, the one that gave Hibaru and Akira the strenght to make the correct decision was the memory of their fathers. They both wish to live up to them and make them proud.

In both cases you also have their power coming from an object related to the father (the keychain for Hibaru and the gloves for Akira) They are bringing their fathers to fight with them in a sense. Getting their strenght and their courage. They are precious boys and I am sobbing.

Anyway, I'm sure they are proud my boys. They could not be more proud of you.

Aliens??

I mean, in Tokyo Aliens there are aliens. Shocking, I know. A very interesting and refreshing take if I can add, since most of them are pretty chill. Negai no Astro has nothing confirmed yet, that I know, but I mean the magic thing that gave power has come from space, so I think we are more or less on the same line. Maybe it's a different planet or something. Idk. It doesn't seem to come from humans, that seem to be a correct take.

There are probably more but I think I made my points. If you like one serie I highly suggest you to give a try to the other!

(apologies for going on rants about it but i have so many thoughts lmao) been looking at the asks and stuff for the palace au and i am. so ill over it already. joker palace aus grab my brain and shake it around so much bc of how it can be played out with how yeah joker's the leader, but with a group where he helped shoulder all their problems and doubts on top of having to destroy a reality where all his friends could have everything and the true reality where he couldn't save a genuine life, it's so???? you think about how they're all teenagers and how much that is so have on one person's shoulders who probably built up a complex of being unable to truly confide in anyone

and giving a deadline is so unique bc i don't think ive seen a palace au with a full deadline. plus there's smthn so like,,, horrifying about being given a deadline for this case?? because it's not just like a deadline until something very bad happens like being arrested or expelled. it's literally a deadline counting down days until someone dies. it's a deadline ticking down until you're too late to save someone from themself and the personification of doubt, grief, anger, blame, and probably hate wearing their face. having to fight so much harder because you missed fighting at the start and the longer it's left to fester the stronger you'll have to be to even have a hope to make up the time difference.

YEAH IKR!!! honestly ive seen many fics with the concept already but it's still sooo interesting to think about and has so much potential so i wanted to give it a try too and now it's living in my head rent free i LOVE the headcanon that akira feels like he has to shoulder everyone's burdens while not being a burden to his friends himself - he has to be the strong leader, he's the one supposed to help them, and that's why in the fic the phantom thieves can't access his palace, except for akechi - the one person akira wasn't able to help. there's so many negative emotions bottled up inside akira and his shadow truly is the worst version of himself - and he's able to manipulate akira into thinking staying in the palace forever (aka: letting himself get killed by his shadow) is the best solution; even when akechi finally finds him, akira refuses to believe he's real and isn't willing to leave the palace. in most fics i've read akechi was the unhinged one and akira helped him getting better, so i really wanted to reverse the roles here: akechi has more or less moved on from everything that happened and got his shit together, while akira is literally going insane. akira can be a little messed up, as a treat!!!

Akira and Katsu are sitting together with their sister Ushuu who came over to see her sisters since Shinobu said she could get a break for a few days. The three of them are enjoying a delicious dinner that Ushuu made for them as a gift for letting her stay for a few days. Toju has been out on a solo mission for the past 3 and a half days now. Akira knows that some missions can take a long time, tho she is worried for him since hes never been out for this long.

Akira's younger sisters are having a little conversation while she is just zoned out in her own thoughts. "Akira...?" Katsu says to her

"huh? Oh what were you saying, sorry about that. Haha." She responds back jokingly to her sister, who is very observant.

"Toju will be fine.. you dont need to worry! Hes strong, trained by you after all." She gives Akira a confident smile as she says this and Ushuu pats her on the shoulder.

"I think its cute~" Ushuu smirks "someone has a crush doesn't sheee."

Katsu just looks at Akira, then at Ushuu, then back at Akira. "You really don't tell people things do you.." katsu jokes

Ushuu looks confused and curious now as she sits back down and looks between her two older sisters.

"She's kissed him like 5 times now that ive seen.. probably more times that I dont known of as welll." Katsu explains to her. She looks at Akira now, "When are you two gonna just get over yourselves and date already??"

Akira's face is red now, and she has no words. Ushuu, who is enjoying this new drama and information on her sister, looks at Akira with a deep and mischievous smile.

suddenly, the front door is open from the other room. Akira is up and over to the door in an instant. Ushuu is impressed by her speed and looks at Katsu to continue to talk. An injured Toju is now walking into the mansion to be greeted by a relieved Akira. She looks him up and down to examine his injuries. A few minor cuts along his arm, and what looks to be bruised ribs. She can tell that he has a bandage around his torso as well, probably got cut there. She smiles up at him and welcomes him back, congratulating him on completing his mission successfully.

she grabs his arm and walks him into the kitchen to get Ushuu to help treat his injuries. "Ushuu, your assistance is required."

Ushuu gets up and goes with Akira and Toju into the room used for treatment and such. Katsu is left to clean up after dinner and then goes up to her room for a while. They arrive in the room and Ushuu prepares some treatment for Toju. Akira helps him remove this shirt and undershirt so he isn't hurting his arm to much and irritating his cuts. She was right, he has a slash mark across part of his side that is wrapped in a bandage. Ushuu helps replace his bandage and properly treats the wound. She then wraps up his arm and treats that.

"the bruised rib will heal with time, just make sure Akira takes it easy on you with training for a while until your better." She explains to him and Akira.

they finish up in the treatment room, and Akira asks him all about his mission. He fought very well, and managed to save everyone in the village with minor casualties. It was a pretty strong demon, but not part of the 12 moons.

"Im proud of you Toju, you did really well." She smiles up to him.

they are both sitting in the living room of her mansion, and she is leaning her head on his uninjured arm.

He looks down to meet her loving gaze, "I couldn't have done it without your help, you really are an amazing mentor you know."

she gives him a small laugh and leans up closer on him. They are very familiar to eachothers touch, with training and everything they've been through, so this wasn't a super surprising situation for him. After all, he has been her tsuguko for about 5 months now. Toju looks down at Akira who is now curled up next to him and still leaning her head on his arm, and he wraps the arm around her shoulder to pull her in closer. Akira now goes a bit red, and thinks back to what Katsu was saying during dinner.. what exactly is it that is holding them back from getting together again..? She honestly cant think of an answer to this and then looks up at him. Akira compliments Toju once more on how good he did during his mission, then she begins to act on emotion again. Now she is reaching her hand up to his face and pulls his head down until it almost reaches hers. Toju catches on very easily and then follows with her. Ushuu and Katsu just happen to be walking into the room to join them as their lips meet and form a kiss.

"aaand thats 6." Katsu says sarcastically

Ushuu laughs and says "you werent kidding Katsu!"

Akira slowly releases the kiss and turns her head to look up at them with slight annoyance on her face. Toju doesn't bother to move and just continues to sit the way he was before.

"are you sure they aren't dating yet Katsu??" Ushuu jokes to her sisters. Both of Akira's sisters are now laughing at her and Toju in a sisterly way.

Akira just stares at them and gives them the middle finger for a second and then turns back around again. This has the two laughing even more now as they go sit down next to them.

The night arrives now and they begin to get ready to go to bed. Akira's mansion has 5 bedrooms in total. One for her, one for Katsu, one for Ushuu when she comes over on nights like these, a guest room that is being occupied by Toju, and a big bedroom with 3 single beds for guests. The last room is almost never in use, but she keeps it fresh just in case. While Toju is getting changed into his sleep clothes, he starts to wonder himself why him and Akira aren't dating yet as well. He can't think of a reason why they can't either, and he knows Akira is very strong so he won't have to worry about loosing her. Toju decides to talk to Akira about it later that night, and Akira was planning to do the same thing.

Akira is saying goodnight to her two little sisters as Toju walks out of his room. She shuts Ushuu's door now and begins to walk back to her room. As she walks past Toju, she hesitates since she wants to talk to him about it, but then decides not to right now and then continues walking to the end of the hall to get to her room. Toju watches her now and realizes that she's been thinking the same thing he is, and decides that now is a good time to talk to her. Just as Akira is about to walk into her room.. she feels Toju grab her torso and pull her into a hug. She looks up at him now with curiosity and confusion.

"Are you alright Toju..?" She asks him softly.

"You hesitated when you walked past me.. yoj have something you wanna say dont you?" He explains to her. "i have something I wanna talk about as well actually."

"oh you do? I guess you're right as well, I do have something I wanna ask. You can go first tho."

she turns herself to face him now and looks up at him. "You look pretty tired Toju, you should sit down before you fall over from exhaustion."

Toju agrees and follows her into her room and sits down on the bed with her. Akira leans against him again and then asks what it was he wanted to talk about.

"well... I.. Maybe I think your sisters are right.." he says with a soft voice.

Akira knows exactly what he's talking about, and is happy he's saying this, but Akira being Akira.. she wants to hear him say it so she plays it dumb. "Right about what exactly..?"

Toju's face now begins to go red. He looks away a bit and then says to her "I would like to date you.. but only as long as that is alright with you of course."

now with a smirk, "Toju, don't look away from me when your talking. You know I feel the same way." She pulls him to face her again.

He gives her a gentle kiss then says, "then I would like that."

Its pretty late by now and the exhausted Toju suddenly falls asleep and his head plops down to fall on Akira's head. She laughs quietly to herself as she carefully lays him down in her bed next to her and she lays down as well. About 10 minutes pass and she suddenly feels his arms wrap around her like a hug. She smiles to herself and closes her eyes, now comforted by his hold. They stay like this for the rest of the night. Not even the crows had the heart to wake them up the next morning.

Katsu walks in to see them, gasps to herself, and then runs back out to get Ushuu. The two girls find this absolutely adorable and just stare at them. Not long after, Akira can feel their gaze and looks up at them with a sleepy scowl. She starts to get up to shoo them away, but they close the door and run away before she gets the chance. Toju subconsciously pulls on Akira wanting her back down to lay with him for a while longer. She goes back down and falls back into her light sleep once more.

someone on twt asked for royal trio tennis playing styles so i will think out loud for several paragraphs under the cut:

PLAYSTYLE

GORO AKECHI. the son of masayoshi shido, one of the best players of all time, so he has big shoes to fill. however he didn't learn from shido himself and was instead passed around various intl academies before settling in at shujin tennis academy. as a lefty he uses it to his advantage: his spin serve is killer and he's a menace with backhand slices and drop shots. he's not one to rush the net and only cleans up with volleys if his opponent is basically off the court already. though not PATIENT by any means, he's very very consistent and i think he seeks to wear you down quickly at the beginning of the match: you get the feeling that "oh shit this guy's an absolute wall, i can't counter this, it's hopeless" so that he can rake in the games from there. i think you have to go into a match with REALLY high confidence otherwise he'll break you pretty fast he also does passive aggressive mind games i.e. instead of passing u the ball to serve he hits em to the corner so u have to go fetch them. doing quick water breaks or none at all if he's winning so you're forced to rush. asking "are you sure?" on linecalls where it was DEFINITELY out just to make you second-guess yourself. he doesn't cheat, though, obviously,that's leagues beneath him, but he'll do little things to break your concentration in a match so there's already a high bar to vault over if u even want a CHANCE at beating goro akechi, but if you get on his nerves somehow then you can crack him from there. someone like akira's unpredictability and flippantness on the court without much sense of planning probably gets under his skin really quick

AKIRA KURUSU. wildcard....... he played a lot of sports growing up, baseball, soccer, track, basketball, u name it basically, but picked up tennis at around age 13 and Somehow was extremely good at it, and immediately scouted and currently training at shujin tennis academy. his athletic and naturally competitive nature means he's naturally really attuned to the nature of Competitive Sport: aka, if he's down, no big deal he'll just fight like hell to get back up. one of the things in tennis is that u can spiral real easily: losing a few points can turn into losing a few games then the match, however, that doesn't phase akira which is his biggest strength. he's really good at Wiping The Slate Clean and starting from scratch if he's down. he's really good at swapping strategies: he can be the moonballer, he can be the 25-ball-rallier, he can be the serve-and-volley menace. etc. and he can do this on the fly without any reluctance. the biggest thing apart from goro and sumi is that he's having FUN. he loves being on the court no matter what, the competition part is secondhand. meanwhile goro and sumi are really really wrapped up in their issues with tennis so the kinda Mind emptiness akira has puts him a step ahead (which they're envious of slash HOW DOES HE DO IT? slash working towards it) SO YEAH hes highly adaptable and fluid in his game style. though, ofc, he tends towards Flashier stuff (which can easily surprise his opponents) so i'd say he's a big fan of cross-cross-down-the-line and such patterns. deep rallies then sudden drop shot and while ur scrambling he beats u to the net. stuff like that. second serve on the first serve. etc. another thing is that his parents are pretty absent (different than the way goro is) i.e. they just dgaf about him entirely, no matter what he does, even if hes good at tennis. (while w goro at least shido would acknowledge him since shido is so far in the limelight). so i think this adds to his adaptability - he doesn't feel constrained the same way goro and sumi do, by their family relationships akira's also one to chat up his opponent mid match LMAO he's not even trying to distract them or play them like that but he's just a friendly happy go lucky guy in the end his thinking is "i hate to lose" so he just keeps playing and keeps winning. it's simple like that

SUMIRE YOSHIZAWA. younger sister of kasumi, she started rhythmic gymnastics w her at a baby age but even from a young age she could tell kasumi was going to outshine her. because of her own timidness holding her back, her own reverence of her sister, she could tell she'd never truly have the willpower/confidence/steadfastness to reach out and be Better than kasumi. because what she really wants is to imprint her name on the world - she doesn't want to be yknow. "kasumi and sumire" she wants to stand on her own, something she doesn't feel she can do if she keeps on with gymnastics. SO SHE SWITCHES TRACKS TO TENNIS another independent sort of sport where you're also scrutinized in the limelight and etc. it'd be difficult to learn this late in the game (age 11ish maybe.) but she's steeled herself and shes determined and READY. it was a biiig decision for her but her parents+kasumi were basically like ok <3 yay<3 and she doesnt reveal how insecure she was about all of that and living in kasumi's shadow and etc. she only confides in akira abt this later down the line (and then goro) her game is really like yknow textbook GOOD like all her shots are impeccable and perfect and really technically perfect. super impressive all around. i dont think she has any specific shots/plays that make her stand out, but her game speaks for itself already in how consistent she is and how steadfast she seems on the court (though inside she's lowk nervous) i think her game might be "predictable" just because of how pristine and mechanically she learned it, but the thing is her form and aim is just so flawless that even if you do know whats coming next you cant counter it all the time actually if anything i think she'd have a killer fast first serve. like CRAZY powerful i think she's not naturally "good" at tennis the way akira and goro are so she works 10x as hard to remedy it. more than just the physical/technical component, getting her mental right is the hard and most important part. when she gets deep into a match sometimes her brain gets the better of her, so in longlong matches she oftentimes loses so that's the current thing she's working on.

PUBLICITY

as with pro tennis comes PUBLICITY and BRAND DEALS and INTERVIEWS and MODELING and ETC

goro dgaf about that but if he's more Famous then he'd be more shoved into shido's face so he goes along with sponsorships and interviews and magazine covers even tho he lowkey hates it.

He doesn't do the detective prince thing here bc he doesn't need to be. he's outwardly bitter and pissed off and snappy the way we know him

akira and sumi are his biggest fans tho always collecting his brand deals and magazines and stuff. they also help tutor him in english so he can do interviews better LMAOO though he's really eyeroll about it

akira and sumi both are good with the publicicty aspect as opposed to goro. sumi, striving to become an intl star, expects it and trains herself for it in spite of her social anxieties. akira, well, is akira and is totally made for the limelight

this causes some sort of internal distress? in goro. he can't quite place it but he feels strange standing alongside them..... something like that. like, of course he wants to take the tennis world by storm, but in the way that he can rub it in shidos face. not really this... aspect? he's not sure what to do with this.

OTHER NOTES

sumi and goro are both highly superstitious and have a solid routine that they ALWAYS adhere to. i.e. goro always practices vs the ball machine the night before. sumi always rewatches rio iwasaki's killer 2016 matchpoint before matches. sumi never wears tennis shoes anywhere other than the court. goro never drinks other gatorade colors besides yellow.

meanwhile u could call akira up 3 mins before and be like hey matchtime and he'd be like ok<3 yay<3

sumi and goro also both analyze their opponents before matches i.e. looking up their ranking and stats and extrapolating stuff frm there while akira is like "oh narukami? from uhhhh. gekkoukan? no. yasogami? ohhh haha thats fun i dont think i played him before :3"

to me at least sumi doesn't come off as naturally competitive the way akira and goro are, inherently: i think she wants to be GOOD, and maybe (in this au) she wants to be Better than kasumi, to gain recognition, to stand on her own two feet: etc. but maybe she doesnt have the inherent Means to get there so that's a lot of what she gains from being friends with akira and goro, to get insight into their mindsets

akira and goro are doubles partners (for better or for worse) (it works great some days and horribly the next. you never know) they dont Seriously compete in doubles though, theyre both singles players to the end.

akira and goro switch off being sumi's mixed doubles partners. she doesn't really play doubles at all i think

sumi is the one who watches pro tennis the most. goro and akira don't really keep up

they all go to shujin academy but kinda half-homeschooled bc as pro players they dont have time for full-time school. theyre also traveling a lot so yeah

goro ties his hair in a low ponytail on the court, sometimes pins his bangs back. akira's hair is too short to tie back, i imagine he pins it back or wears a headband a la rafael nadal

sumi wears a visor! and contacts. akira wears contacts too but sometimes he wears glasses when hes silly goofy

DOES TENSHINHAN REALLY TRAIN ALL THE TIME?

The short answer... "NO." The long answer...

DRAGON BALL Z:

In the Cell Saga, Tenshinhan had expressed multiple times that he felt useless. In fact, the guy who many in the DB fandom inaccurately claim trains non-stop actually lost confidence in himself so much so that Tien even REJECTED training in the RoSaT.

Tien could've gotten 1 year's worth of training in 1 day, yet he straight up refused. That alone proves that Tien DOES NOT train all the time like a Saiyan as so many people suggest. They are misinformed or willfully ignorant.

After Goku died, Tien felt depressed & lost some motovation to train (others felt depressed as well). He told his friends that they would probably never see him again. Then, he disappeared for 7 years & only reappeared briefly during the Buu Saga.

Why was Tien absent during majority of the Buu Saga?

Why did Tien choose to stay out of the 3 day battle until the very last moment while being fully aware of the situation from day 1 due to Babidi's telepathy?

TENSHINHAN WAS DEPRESSED & many fans fail to realize this. Tien even calls himself "USELESS" again in the Buu Saga. Tien did not want to join the fight because he had lost his fighting spirit. So, what exactly was Tenshinhan doing during the 7 year time-skip? Well, Toriyama actually tells us what Tenshinhan was doing...

TORIYAMA INTERVIEW:

Toriyama explains in an interview that in addition to Tenshinhan's training, he mostly farms & Chaozu helps him. (Even Yamcha occasionally stops by to help out when he isn't being a freelance bodyguard.)

And when you examine Toriyama's words closely, he says that "[Lunch] wasn't cut out for farming, and Tenshinhan has no interest in romance, so she left after a few days." Lunch was last mentioned to be chasing after Tenshinhan at the begining of the Saiyan Saga. This implies that Tien had actually been farming at some point soon after the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai if not sooner.

Not to mention that "mostly farms" means that Tien does other things too.

Tenshinhan DOES NOT constantly train as many fans falsely claim. The only ones who Toriyama said train all the time are Goku, Vegeta, & Piccolo. And the series supports this statement.

DRAGON BALL SUPER:

The Resurrection F manga & the 7th ending for DBS reaffirm Toriyama's statements that Tenshinhan & Chaozu are indeed farmers.

Furthermore, we are shown in DBS EP 89 that Tenshinhan has also opened his own dojo & is teaching advanced martial arts to 12 students (+ Yurin later).

CONCLUSION

The notion that Tenshinhan trains all the time is purely fan conjecture that is taken as gospel.

Tien has been farming for at the least since the begining of DBZ.

Tien started a martial arts school at some point after the Universe 6 vs Universe 7 Tournament.

Many in the DB fandom don't fact check most statements made in the fandom. Then, they end up believing and regurgitating misinformation. So, HERE ARE THE FACTS! For those of us who know that Tien DOES NOT constantly train, this post/images/links can be used as evidence during disputes & discussions.

I'm tired of this fandom spewing inaccuracies as truth without getting checked. And many falsely claim that Tien trains all the time in order to make the argument that Tien deserved to be the strongest Earthling instead of Krillin & so that others believe the misinformation. They attempt to use Krillin as some sort of stepping stone with false information, but these fans do so at the expense of Tien's character development that they conveniently overlook.

If your feelings aren't validated by facts, then you are wrong. Once you are corrected, you are now right. If you want to be right, often times you have to be corrected.

[EXTRA]

It appears that Toriyama revealed that Tenshinhan was a farmer soon after the Freeza Saga when Freeza came to Earth. Tenshinhan & Chaozu were shown in a mountainous area while wearing clothing that resembles a Chinese winter farmer's attire along with some sort of carrying bag tied around their torso that they store their winter crops in. Not to mention that Trunks arrived in the past during a winter month, so them wearing winter farming attire makes sense given we know they are farmers. {I'm open to being corrected on this nugget of info if needed because I don't have extensive knowledge of historical Chinese attire.}

TENSHINHAN, CHAOZU, YAMCHA, & KRILLIN: They are still marital artists at heart, but there was 7 yrs of peace. If there was no enemy to fight, doesn't retiring from fighting make sense? Although, their retirement was only temporary as we saw in DBS. People hate on Krillin & Yamcha for retiring, yet forget that Tien and Chaozu retired too. Yamcha being a freelance bodyguard & occasionally helping Tien and Chaozu farm (possibly training with them occasionally too).

With Tien being depressed after the Cell Games, it makes sense why Launch still visited him from time to time even if he didn't want a romantic relationship with her. She was another friend to help him out.

Paradox Live The Animation Episode 3 Review - The Found Family

TCW have such a calm and soothing vibe; they’re so warm and adorable too! Compared to BAE who are a group of inseparable besties and cozmez who are actual brothers, TCW feel like a little family with Saimon as the dad, Yohei as the mom, and Shiki and Ryu are their kids. It feels like a nice change in tone from the energetic vibes that the youngsters of BAE and cozmez gave off. Maybe it’s because TCW have actual working adults in the fray?

Speaking of which, BAE vs cozmez ended with the former as winners, but why did TCW vs Akan Yatsura already spoil the results after the opening sequence? That’s no fun! However, I do think that the prime focus wasn’t about their rap battle but the group as a whole and plot related stuff. The main focus of this episode is like a snippet of TCW’s daily lives with Ryu finding a cat one day and Shiki trying to recover from his trap reactions and anxieties over his mistakes on stage.

Saimon is the gentle father figure to the kids and loyal and trustworthy confidant of Yohei. He’s definitely the glue that sticks them together because he’s the one who found all of them one day, pertaining to his bad habit of picking up strays. I do find him adorable as heck with the way he gets swayed by Ryu’s puppy eyes and the Kurobuchi’s kitty eyes combination and asks Yohei if they can keep the cat. Yohei’s the caring but nagging mother hen who acts like he doesn’t care but truly does. I do wonder how these two met because they seem to be long time friends. Regardless, whoever designed these two and the kids deserve a raise because they’re all so gorgeous. Like, Paradox Live doesn’t skimp with the designs. They’re all legit 10/10’s.

Shiki is very anxious. He has very poor reactions to phantometals and his trap reactions probably are worse than Allen’s. The way he screamed in the middle of the night was really hard to watch. I do wonder what his connection is to Nayuta. Are his reactions related to Nayuta? Other than his trap reactions, Shiki as a character is a very meek individual. He’s insecure, has low self-esteem and always holds back. From what I know, all Paradox Live characters have sad backstories, so I assume the same for Shiki.

Ryu’s the biggest mystery in the group. Nothing is known about him. He has no memories nor a given age. I’m not even sure if Ryu is his actual name. Eccentricities and enigmas aside, Ryu’s biggest unique factor is his inability to have trap reactions. He can use phantometals all he wants and he won’t get withdrawals from them. While Shiki states that it’s a gift, it makes him different from the rest and that worries Ryu. It seems that Ryu’s biggest worries is being ostracized as an anomaly. There are glimpses of his memories as he seemed to have once been a lab rat and ran away. Is he related to Alter Trigger in a way? I have to say, Ryu’s my favorite of TCW despite me simping for how fine Saimon is at times. I think that his positivity is infectious and the way he described Akan Yatsura as Momotaro characters and Zen as muscles was hilarious.

Speaking of which, Akan Yatsura, from their brief screen time, also gives me big family vibes. Given how Iori and Yohei are connected, it’s like Akan Yatsura had a family outing and went to visit Yohei’s bar as a detour. I do wonder if these two groups will focus more on the darker side of this show’s story.

Also, I heard Akira Ishida as the crazy scientist in that one brief sequence change. They legit got a well-known VA like Ishida in this anime as well as Kenta Miyake as the Paradox Devil. They’re not playing around with the VAs at all. Heck, TCW’s voice cast list is pretty stacked. Saimon’s voiced by Ryota Takeuchi; Yohei’s voiced by Yuu Hayashi; Ryu’s VA is Natsuki Hanae and Shiki’s Junta Terashima. I’m familiar with all four VAs, so it feels great that they’re showing off more of their talents.

TCW’s song gives more of a jazz bar vibe and I like it a lot! It’s a lot different from the loud and fast tempo BAE and cozmez songs had. It matches their vibes a lot. Are all of their songs like this?

Anyways, this was a good episode and it makes me want to see more of this adorable family. I’m assuming next episode is focused on Akan Yatsura, and I’m excited to learn about them too! I feel like these episodes are more focused on characterization rather than singing and I’m not too sure how I feel about that. On one hand, it’s nice to learn about the characters and not get the songs overshadowing them. On the other hand, I don’t like that the rapping is always towards the end. Anyways, what are your thoughts about this episode?
