Life hasn't been that fair to me. They hit me with the worst luck possible and give me a chance, then hitting me again. My father wanted a son, a strong, brave one but he received a daughter. Of course, he disliked that. So, he would force me to do 'boyish stuff' such as: Basketball, football and more 'boyish' activities.

At the age of 20, he forced me to go to the army and train there. He was...proud, swaying pictures at peoples face of me in my uniform, saluting.

After training, i then decided it was enough and wanted to lead my own life, of course my father was upset, but i couldn't care less. At 24, i left the army and moved to Tokyo, Japan.

I was jobless and was staying at an apartment which was small but comfortable and had everything i needed. Japan is a unique country...i would say. '5 death row convicts escaped and are on their way to Tokyo, Japan.' the lady on the TV said, showing pictures and info.

"...Did God send me here to die?" I mumbled and opened my laptop, deciding to look for a job, while listening to the news. Japan is a unique country..they have 'Yujiro Hanma, the strongest and most feared man alive'. "Strongest? Well he definitely looks strong alright." I looked at pictures of the man.

He looked Intimidating, large and muscular. On one of his pictures, he had an ear to ear smile, i blinked. "...he looks like it." I scroll more. "...5 death row convicts...another death row convict...dead person... boxing match gone wrong...death row convict escap- ugh, since when did the world become so messed up!?"

"Yujiro Hanma looking for a... bodyguard? Why would he need a bodyguard...oh." The pay was BIG, so big that i can buy this whole building. Mr. Hanma looks like he could kill. Why would he want a bodyguard anyways?

I hesitate and ponder my decisions for a minute, glancing at the pay every now and then. I groan and slap my cheeks. I need money. And so, i contact the number.

A few seconds passed by. He picked up! "...Hello?" "A woman huh?" Yujiro spoke, amused. "...uhm, yeah. I would like to-" "Do you know how to fight?" "..yes." "You're hired." "O-oh?....Is the pay really for real?" "It's a fair pay. Your are protecting the strongest man in earth."

It has been a few months since you have been a bodyguard for The strongest man...creature on earth. It has been... exhausting. This man is literally a child inside a monster like mans body.

I think this man doesn't know what a bodyguard is, because he would make me fold his clothes, buy him food and throwing the money at me, orders me to threaten the president to do whatever.

But, the pay was large and made me live so much better than the time i lived with my father. I could afford more better clothes, food and make my apartment not look like a dump.

I had many experiences with this man, i wonder what his son is like.

I stared at the tracker on my phone, Yujiro has a phone (which he barely use) where i downloaded a tracking app in it. 'Yujiro is in a motel again.' I thought, 'he's probably banging another girl. Damn. How does he even fit?' i shake my head, removing the thought out of my head.

I walk in and used the elevator, making my way on the floor where his room is. 'Room 23...24...25, okay.' i stood there, looking at my phone, gazing at the time.

'11:56' it read. 1...2...3. A woman came running out, crying while struggling to wear her heels. She looked at me for a second and ran away, sobbing.

Yujiro came out, half naked. "Your lunch." I faked a smile, due to my tiredness. "What happened?" I pointed with my thumb to the girl running away.

"She was too noisy. She sounds like a chew toy." He said harshly, taking the paper bag from my hand. "...of course, it's a normal human reaction." I mumbled.

"I'm not eating here, let's go." Yujiro said walking away, leaving the room open. "..sure." I quickly entered the room and saw the woman's earrings, along with a few pieces of jewelry that Yujiro left behind.

"Mr. Hanma isn't that bad after all." I hummed in delight, stealing the shiny jewels.

I sat in my apartments rug, laptop in my lap, with Yujiro doing exercising stuff in the corner, breaking the wooden floor, leaving foot marks on it.

"You have a Gmail? I didn't know.." "Yeah. The government made it for me." He grunts, as he exercised. I made a disgusted sound as sweat rolled off his body. I scrolled through his Gmail "..You don't read your emails." "It's a waste of time."

Looking at the time, I notice that the news is on and reached for the remote, turning the TV on. On the news, the news reporter explained the prisoners who escaped.

I glanced at the man, feeling his murderous aura. His smile, amused. "You going to do something about it?" "Maybe." I hummed in response.

The door bell rang and it caught my attention. I stood up and walked to the door and opened it. "[Y/N]." "Father?" "Come home. Enough with this silly nonsense of yours, you can't live without me, look at this shithole you're living in!"

"...This shit hole, is my home. I'm more happier here than living in yours." I replied, eye twitching in annoyance. He came all the way here just to control you again? He could've asked how you've been doing all these years, like a good father would.

"That is no way of talking to your father! Come. Home. [Y/N], whether you like it or not, You still have my last name." "Fuck your last name!" I pull my hand away from him when he grabbed it, looking at him with disbelief and tears threatening to fall from my eyes.

He was much more stronger. I couldn't run away.

Then, he froze. His face turning into anger to fear, his eyes widening and his hands slowly quivering. He backed away, "W-w-who the fuck are you..?" "Who are you?" A voice from behind me spoke, his voice deep and menacing, almost like he wanted to kill my Father.

I gazed at my back, to see Yujiro. He had his hands crossed, with an eating-shitting grin. I can feel his aura, an aura that can kill. His eyes looked like it was glowing, his grin getting wider, more threatening. 

My father was a soldier too, he was pretty strong, a large man with muscles, littered with scars all over his body. He scared people with his looks. But this time, he was scared. Maybe scared isn't the right word. Petrified, he was petrified.

Even if they were the same height, it was obvious whos much more stronger. "F-fuck." He backed away like a scared puppy and ran. "Such a shame. He ran away already." He said amused, keeping his grin.

"Pussy." He said, walking away while scratching the inside of his ear with his pinky. I blinked. Did he just.. protect me from my father?

So I may have been slightly hyped for this book the past few months

For the three of you who haven't heard about this, MMPR: The Return is a story set in the future of an alternate universe of the MMPRs; one where Jason, Zack, and Trini didn't give up their powers upon the eve of the Peace Conference, and thus the team stayed together even after high school. But fast forward twenty-two years later, and the team has broken up due to some sort of tragedy - we know from the Re-Imagine prologue in the 30 Year Anniversary book, Zordon and Alpha were destroyed by Zedd and Rita. But other stuff seems to have happened too. What is that stuff? I guess we're about to find out!

Oh, and I should mention this was written by the original Pink Ranger herself, Amy Jo Johnson. (and her partner, Matt Hotson.) That might be important to know.

It's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return #1!

= Three pages in and Jason's already getting his ass kicked. You're forty-five years old, man, you should be at the club

= I know this was debated a bit when the book was announced - how it would line up with Thuy and JDF's passings, especially after coming off the heels of Once and Always, where the focal point was Trini's daughter taking up her powers after Trini's death. (For what it's worth, this book was first conceived pre-pandemic, long before OaA. Making comics takes a long time.) And while Tommy is still a bit up in the air (despite what we'll see in a few pages) Trini does seem to have definitively passed due to illness.

While I definitely get the frustration of Thuy's passing essentially sealing Trini's fate - especially in a comic book, where you don't have to worry about actor restrictions - I'm a little more generous towards it here because Amy and Thuy were close friends and she actually dealt with her death personally compared to how the OaA writers, well......didn't. And this issue is clearly paralleling Kimberly's motivations and feelings to Amy's real-life ones, so this just feels like another part of that.

(Also to contrast OaA's handling of Trini - a) her passing here isn't caused by a graphic onscreen explosion, proving the whole "well they HAD to show it onscreen for more impact!!!" was bullshit b) her friends AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY are actually grieving and talking about her impact on everyone as well as using the non-actor-restriction to SHOW it and c) The book actually gives her a JOB. TWO jobs!!!!!!! Yeah OaA why the fuck did you send ZACK to Congress WHEN IT CLEARLY SHOULD HAVE BEEN TRINI

Not really, my given name is that of a saint like most names from here tbh, but my mom picked it because it's short and she wanted people from everywhere around the world to be able to say it which is kind of cute. I don't have chosen name I have like 3 nicknames people alternate between, one of them is Ani or AniGC which I use on the internet and I don't plan on picking one I think not having a name is cool!

Nope, too young, and also having my own kids or parenting/fostering is not something I am fit to ever do I don't think I would be a good parent. I'm a lesbian so biological kids are kind of out the window (not really but don't want them regardless, better safe than sorry on this matter I think). I would love to work with kids though at least once in my lifetime.

Genuinely yesterday I love crying I cry all the damn time it helps me fall asleep. What the libs don't want you to know is that depression is actually awesome because you can cry all the fucking time and you don't need sleeping medication! Yay for mental illness!

This is a strange one I'm not really big on either of these things. Like I enjoy all plot threads being tied together well but if that doesn't make my fav happy GOOD. Let that bitch suffer. To actually answer the question I think scary movies lmao.

Why yes I'm very awesome. Running the risk of sounding like a loser nerd I love studying I love learning things if I could stay in school for the rest of my life I genuinely would. Nope! Small apartment and not enough money or time to take care of them. One day I will get a cat though trust.

Idk probably physics. High school level chem was incredibly fucking boring I didn't even have to fart to get good grades. Math and programming were my original beloveds but I fell out of love with them very soon after starting high school due to bad experiences with teachers. So yeah probably physics idk the only subjects I think about at this point are the ones I'll have next year in college I can't fucking wait for atomistics.

I feel like a fucking idiot being at my age and telling people I want to be a scientist but like!!!!!! I do I genuinely do!!!! gonna base my first thoughts off the first ep greetings. initial thoughts under cut:

millie: idgaf she was real for coming on this show just to study why people her age act the way they do. i didn't think she'd win, but i loved her automatically. she seemed very relatable based off her initial motive (and i was right!)

axel: "oh she's going to be a challenge dominator!" i screamed, not knowing just how wrong i was </3 i started off thinking she was a combo of eva and shawn aha. i thought she'd make it mid merge

Here we go, in order! :]

1, Dalia is 5'6, and she's also 15 and weighs around 160 pounds just to cover bases

2, if she could have anything, it would probably be peace of mind. She's usually worried about something or someone, and she puts her concerns about and need to protect those close to her above her own needs. She wants a way to just shut out her thoughts and have the peace her epithet can provide to others, but if she tries to use her epithet on herself it doesn't work, so she's constantly seeking out ways to get that peace, but her thoughts never go away, she can push them to the back of her mind but they're always there and she wishes they weren't. (Lowkey needs therapy tbh)

3, alr family wise she has a pretty big family(so many cousins but I'll make a tree later, I promise) but for immediate family she has 2 siblings, both younger. The middle kid is Esme, and she's 9, and she's pretty close with Dalia (even though some days she makes her wanna rip her own hair out bc omfg does this kid not listen). The youngest is named Jasper, he's 8, and he's sweet, but that doesn't mean he doesn't cause trouble, it's just that when he just does it's more sneakily than when Esme does it. Her mom is pretty distant and is constantly working, and Dalia wishes she was around more. Her mom(named Avery) also just kinda pins her siblings onto Dalia whenever her dad isn't home. Her dad(named Carter) is a stay at home dad who's trying his best. He's got a lot going on, but despite it all, he's pretty close with Dalia. They have the same sense of humor, so if you put them in a room together, they constantly crack jokes at each other. He was on drumline when he was her age, and that's part of the reason she joined guard bc she wanted to be involved with the marching band like her dad. She looks up to him a lot.

4, she likes colorguard a lot, but there was definitely a learning curve. If you saw her at her first performance compared to her latest, you wouldn't think it's the same person. She gets super nervous before performances tho (she cried because of her nerves before her first real performance) but the more performances and practice she got under her belt the better her nerves have gotten(she still gets a little panicky before big shows and parades, but nothing compared to how it used to be)

5, Prolly Sabrina, i feel her idgaf energy would ground Dalia in a way(I have a lot of friends with that energy and idk why but it grounds me, so now figuring out why is Dalia's problem lmao) They also have similar music taste(Dalia playlist coming soon) If they were friends they'd totally send eachother fanfic for fandoms they're both in at ungodly hours of the night lmao

6, short answer, no (but if you push, yes.) Long answer no, and not because she's above eating dirt for cash but because she knows she'll probably get made fun of if she does. She folds to peer pressure pretty easy tho (people pleaser) and could probably be convinced to if you pushed her about it.

GMMTV2024 Hopes + Predictions

Predictions:

It's clear that G4 is becoming GMMTV's new BW since ON didn't work out. They will definitely have more concerts, and their ship is too lucrative for GMMTV to NOT give them a series. If they do get another one, I definitely think it'll be another school-based series. One thing is for sure though, they will be working like crazy next year.

While we're on the topic, Gemini might just get his het drama. I think we could even see him star in one of GMMTV's classic ensemble het shows or even a non-romance series. If he gets one, they'll definitely try to make it a non-threatening pair (knowing Thai entertainment it could be a slight age difference pairing).

Possibly another MSP special episode, second season or movie. This is one of my most far-fetched predictions but there's something about how G4 pulled out of 23.5 and Mark pulled out of Cooking Crush that gives me the vibe that they want to have another season of MSP possibly giving more screentime to the TiwPor couple.

There will be another The Warp Effect/Friendzone-esque drama that will introduce a BL pair we never knew we wanted. Maybe Lee Thanat X other seasoned GMMTV actor..

If MilkLove shows promise, ViewJune will get a GL.

Hot take but I think we'll get another PerthChimon-led series. GMMTV DUMPED budget into them and, barring a disaster, I can't see them fading the same way ON did.

We will continue to see JoongDunk have international fanmeets, concerts, etc. I can even see GMMTV focusing less on making a good series for them and more on selling tickets and merch.

OffGun will not have a series next year.

I have no basis for this prediction but I feel like either Tay, Off, or Perth will get a movie. (watch me be wrong lol).

One of the babies will get their first puppy love BL, probably near direct knock-offs of either Bad Buddy or MSP, since those were massively successful. My bet is on Indy or Ohm (not a baby but we move) leading. Chokun or Java could be a second lead/part of the second couple.

A GMMTV basement dweller (e.g., Podd, Pleum Pongpisal, etc.) will have their 2023 Gawin moment and resurrect their BL career with a more established, yet unpaired GMMTV actor.

To put a cap on it, I predict there will be a similar amount of BLs as there were last year (9 +/-2), another QL ensemble series (like The Warp Effect), and another GL (likely led by View OR Jan + [insert girl here]).

oof i haven't made an actual post on here in ages!!!! but i just wanted to vent about something because i dont feel like writing in down in my journal yet. ugh. yesterday, i went up to nyc to the glaad awards to see the cast and crew of rwrb and i saw everyone who showed up (casey, matthew, rachel, aneesh, taylor, and uma) but taylor didn't sign anything for anyone which is like so out of the ordinary for him. so then people were like 'oh he's running late' which i was like ok because he's often late to things lol but then later on we realized his stalker was there. like, the girl that stalked him to a concert and literally halfway across the globe to china. and she apparently was at the screening on thursday night as well so she literally flew from cali to see him again in 48 hrs. she hasn't done anything so like they probably can't like file a restraining order or whatever, but she is so creepy and she knows she's being creepy and doesn't care. she even went inside the hotel last night where they had the awards and was waiting by the elevators for him to come out!!! likee she's crazy!! and the staff knew about it but they were like there's not really anything they can do.

my favourite thing to do with my friends in grades above me when i was younger was to pop my head into their rooms and say hi and i just like to think about steve and bucky being one grade apart but Everyone knows theyre best friends because theyll (specifically bucky i feel like) pop their heads into each others rooms or the windows to the other persons classrooms and it is just . too cute

in ca:fv the prelude comic for tfa, steve and bucky first meet because steve is getting beat up by some other boys in an alley for refusing to pay to cross the street back towards his apartment. bucky saves him, steve refuses to say thank you because he would’ve “worn them down eventually!” (literally like every meet cute between a stubborn x exasperated couple), bucky makes a remark about how steve would’ve had to wait until they died of old age, and ofc bc steve is steve he gets suspicious about bucky talking to him so he tries to fight bucky too until bucky calls him cowboy and says he’s an inspiration … now i’m thinking about how steve probably made a habit of waiting a little while to walk home after school to try and avoid those guys because even if he did want to pay them, he can’t afford to, and frankly having to fight people just to get to your apartment every day is exhausting.

maybe he sat on the steps and read or stayed after class and helped the teacher clap the erasers to be helpful … maybe that’s how he got into drawing, trying to kill time after school. him doing that every day and not even minding because he’d only be going home to be alone until his ma got off work anyways :( falling into the routine of it and being kinda content with how it (usually) helps him avoid the guys trying to make him pay until ofc he meets bucky !!!! and bucky is so confused about not ever seeing steve when he walks home from school because he knows steve should be taking a similar route. after a week or two of waiting to see if he’ll run into him again, bucky probably just gives up because he’s a preteen boy and preteen boys are not known to be patient. he knows steve goes to the same school as him but he’s a grade below so bucky doesn’t have classes with him and he can never seem to find him during their lunch hour (because steve is definitely the type to spend it holed up in some corner or at a table where there aren’t as many people).

but thennnnnn! bucky has to leave a little later after school one day, maybe because he’s giving one of his teachers back a book they let him borrow (reader bucky my beloved) or because he was with some girl behind the building … either way that’s the day where he finally sees steve again, sitting on the steps with his sketchbook and a pencil doodling away. and since this is bucky, he doesn’t hesitate in plopping down right next to him and getting straight to the point of: “why haven’t i seen you around anywhere, rogers? you lie about where you live or something?” and steve is so surprised that bucky is talking to him again because everyone in their school knows who he is … he’s bucky barnes. everyone loves him. he’s smart, he’s handsome, he’s good at sports, and here he is staying after school just to talk to steve rogers, who no one seems to notice unless they’re beating him up. IDGAF IF THATS TOO TROPEY I KNOW ITS WHAT HAPPENED!!!!! i have exactly 0 evidence for this in canon but WHO CARES!

steve eventually admitting to bucky that he tries not to go home so soon because of those guys bothering him and bucky’s solution just being “well, if your ma isn’t home, you can just come to mine” and that’s now they become best friends :) they start walking to bucky’s together almost every day, and after sarah finally meets bucky she says he’s good to come over to their apartment as long as they don’t do anything crazy while she isn’t home. bucky and steve starting to each lunch together, steve showing bucky the quiet places where he likes to sit, bucky introducing steve to some of the friends he has in his grade, steve warming up to being social a little more … steve definitely had other friends outside of bucky because he’s a genuinely nice guy who is shown to try, but i think he definitely had a hard time figuring out how to open up to people when he was younger (and wasn’t given the opportunity most of the time), so the fact that bucky was the one to step in and insert himself into steve’s life …

yeah :( bucky will forever be his first friend in that way. the two of them are so … i know bucky took every chance he could to talk to steve in the hallway or wave to him through the window … absolutely took every chance he could to deliver other teachers notes when he knew steve would be in their classroom just so he could make faces at him when the teacher was turned and probably slip steve a note of his own. GOD steve being so surprised that bucky acknowledges him in public so openly because again, bucky is just so … likable. to everyone. and steve is still getting used to the idea that he’s worth someone’s time. even prewar they really fit so many ship tropes like 😭 jock x art kid, blonde x brunette, grumpy x sunshine (who is grumpy and who is sunshine really depends on the situation tbh), tall x short, popular x shy, patient and knowing x impatient and oblivious, mutual pining, forbidden love, only child x big brother with a welcoming family … GOD.

a ship that was totally wrong and never should have happened: honestly the only thing coming to mind is Amanda/Nate

my favorite storyline/moment: I have so many BUT the one that sticks out the most to me is when Noah came out as Bi to Olivia and we all knew it was gonna be fine but you could tell Noah was a little bit scared still (Ryan played it WONDERFULLY) and she immediately just accepted him and said "thank you for telling me" - I fucking BAWLED and it felt like it was Olivia Benson saying that to me. This scene was something I needed when I was Noah's age and it'll always resonate with me

a story that never should have been written: Delcan Murphy being Jesse's father (SHE IS NICK'S AND YOU CAN DRAG THAT FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS). A man in authority who CALLED HER OUT for her weakness for men in authority slept with her (ergo taking advantage of her). Not to mention, he did save her badge and the time frame they slept together was like right on the heels of Amanda's gambling problems - you know a part of her probably thought she owed it to him or some shit.... Anyway, the entire thing is fucking disgusting and them making Murphy the dad RUINED the character for me and I choose to ignore Jesse's "canon" parentage.

my first thoughts on the show: probably not something a toddler should be watching; but it's just a fun crime show my mom and i watch together
