Some PkCiv shoe designs! Explanations below cut :D

Evbo: Ballerina shoes for Evbo bc of his 360's, that's the main reasoning really Emf: Inspired by ancient Chinese footwear, something something totem of undying something Qin Shi Huang's quest for immortality. Gold embroidery as an ode to their old Master status Seawatt: Based on ancient Egyptian sandals, nicely introduces a 'gold' element in. The coin anklets are the 'chain' element, I hc a really rich culture in the Fighter level that included music/dance incorporating their chain elements as percussion PkVillain: Runners for the racing boi! PkV gotta go fast. Pro Neighbour: I wanted something soft and warm bc of their caring nature but also the plate armour to show how they try to protect/look out for Evbo

it is important that Parkour Civilization 2 is about yaoi and trust instead of classism and systematic oppression because Parkour Civilization 1 can not only be an example of the pitfalls of a rigged meritocracy but also an example of a society that has forgone the need for community, and connection and the sequel thus allows for the rediscovery and reintroduction of community and connection that will lead to a restored-to-sustainability meritocracy

#parkour civilization #within the canon of parkour civ… it was sustainable and better during the reign of the old man. but then how does it become warped?#the answer lies in the removal of the Chainmail layer—the Parkour Fight Level—and the domino effect it set off symbolically and literally #symbolically: removing the Fighter level was like removing the tier of Love and Belonging in the Maslow Hierarchy of Needs Theory #thus if the need for connection and community is erased like it never existed then everyone in parkour civilization will go from wanting #Safety and Security (health and employment in parkciv) to wanting Self-Esteem (achievement and respect)—a pipeline that encourages #self-interest and leaves forming community and forging connections to be an optional step that many will often skip on their way to the top #literally: the old man erasing the Fighter Level would lead to the rank up of Pros into weaker Masters #this means that not only are the newly ranked Masters weaker… they are also more competitive and less sociable or mindful of others…#like the Evil Champion. who couldn’t match the Old Man and instead decided to outsmart the Old Man to fulfill his selfish desire for power.#in spite of supposedly being at the top of society and at the stage of Self-Actualization—the Evil Champion wasn’t satisfied. hence his #tyranny from henceforth.#Evil Champion is an example of what a deeply selfish and emotionally isolated person who has risen to the top of a meritocracy can do to #that society. a society we discover was flourishing and sustainable in the past when forming a connection to others and reaching out was #the norm and not the oddity.#when the old man cancelled yaoi—the society began to slowly crumble and was only revived when Evbo reintroduced yaoi #aurie rambles #talking in the tags #oops i also yapped away inside the replies /lh

Evbo: Snare drum. I don't care what you say. snare drum.

360s is just him oerforming stick tricks. Backwards jumps? more like playing eith the back of your sticks.

Ari (EMF): Something smooth, yet powerful. Saxophone or Clarinet, thats what im feeling. Front ensemble, maybe, but im leaning more towards sax/clarinet

Seawatt: Low brass... hmm... Trumbone, Tuba, or Sousaphone. He probably also knows how to play piano and work mallet percussion. He's just cool like that.

Clownpierce: Either colorgaurd or Trumpet. The guys quick on his toes, gotta give him a fast moving instrument.

Old man: Drum major/Band director. no explanation needed.

Ajthebold/Evil champion: Section leader for sure. He also gives me woodwind vibes... (or drum major..)

Cookie god: If the old man is the drum major, he's the band director. If the old man is the band director.. uh.... ppprrriiinnnciiippalll...? i dunno.....

Side character time!!!!

Pro neighbor: Flute or trumpet.. but like really soft. Or a loud flute. yknow what I mean?

Noob neighbor: Crash cymbal vibes.. or base drum. one of those. Probably has volume issues lolll

Alien guy who sells houses: Oboe or Sax. I couldn't tell you why.

Pro who sells houses: Clarinet or Trumbone (maybe euphonium or french horn if this was concert band)

The first pro: Tuba. Probably does a seperate brass instrument on the side.

The bear looking noob who failed the ticket course: The guy ever :) Anyway, Clarinet or Flute. One of those.

The master that dropped ice blocks: Band dropout, but played trumpet while she was in band. Most likely dropped out due to medical issues.

The rich master: Trumpet or Trumbone whos just.. that small bit off time..

Snitch: Color gaurd!!! That or oboe. he just looks like hed be on oboe. or color gaurd.
