Blogroll/Blog Revival

I haven't use this blog in ages because I'm weird about tags and the post number was intimidating. But i'm interacting with people more so it seemed time to revive it! Here will be historical things, cool things, and the occasional fandom thing maybe and I suppose I should reblog all my writings scattered across various blogs here - themirage-prismatic is also my penname. I’ll probably go through and do some blog clean up too. I’m also sure that most of my 'followers’ are either ghosts or pornbots but whatever.

@astrophoros-ffxiv - my Final Fantasy 14 blog and the reason why I am reviving this one since interactions will show up as 'themirageprismatic'. This will make it easier to know who the hell I am lol. My character rn is Suzune Akigawa though I have lots of other rattling around in here. T_T

@nightbloominglotus was my replacement main blog - its a sideblog because I didn't make a new account for some reason (it’s probably because I’d forget about the other account). Since I'll be blogging @themirageprimsatic properly, this one will either go dormant or being for reblogging writing stuff.

@maniac-fandomist my fandom blog. Anything actor/actress or media relater whether i watch/read it or just think its cool goes here

I have others such as a pokemon one and a hetalia one - which was just to stash reblogs. I have since abandoned separate fandom blogs for maniac-fandomist - unless I do original posts for them like i do FFXIV. If I collect anymore active blogs (i hope not, i’ll go mad) I’ll update.

I think an important quote the world generally forgets is 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder.' I look at plenty of people, men and women of whatever ethnicity, skin color, culture and go 'they're hot.' And some people are saying 'don't compliment beauty.' and I respectfully disagreed. It's an amazing boost when someone says you're beautiful

The Transformation of Name Meanings - Jack

I've realized a trend in media in regards to the name Jack.

What Jack actually means (according to thinkbabynames.com)

It is a name based on the French form Jacob (Hebrew) which means 'he who supplants'(I don't even know what supplants means) The name has a rugged, down-to-earth aura. < - Maybe that's why there are so many characters named 'Jack' put in leadership/heroic roles.

Jack Landors - Power Rangers S.P.D - Red Ranger

Jack Bauer - ... I don't know what he does exactly, I just know he saves the world from catastrophe in a 24 hr period

Jack Skellington - King of Halloweentown, more in charge than the Mayor is.

Jack Harkness - I don't know much about him but I know he's a lead character on Torchwood and charismatic

Jack Frost - Hero of the story, fun-loving, big brother to all children, sacrificed himself to save his little sister.

Jack the Giant Slayer - ... it's kind of stupid to repeat myself. Need I say more?

Jack Rakan - From 'Mahou Sensei Negima!' -He's just the ultimate cheat code. It's almost unfair. Heck, it IS UNFAIR.
