So... I read about everything the crew said during the PostHoot and how they indeed planned for a whole storyline between Vee and Hunter hurts me so much! Those two are my favorite characters and Disney took their dynamic from us!

I hope that one day the crew releases more information like this, we deserve to know more about what the show could have been!

I would like to make a public announcement!!

It has been brought to my attention that some people were taking my tags as canon. BUT I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IT CLEAR that the one thing made canon was the implications that all the coven heads had Palisman, but were given to/taken by Belos and are now dead. As you can see here!!

Darius having a snake Palisman is MY PERSONAL HEADCANON and Her Name is Navi/Navina! She was carved from Opalized Palistrom Wood, and as you can see;

she's very pretty! That is all, and I'm sorry for the confusion!!!

If I see one more post that treats hl as canon I'm going to start rioting, I genuinely really appreciate the bi representation in the owl house it *is* amazing and Hunter *potentially* being in a relationship with Willow does not erase his bisexuality but please, I beg, it is not canon. It just isn't

People are literally incapable of seeing a platonic m/f relationship as actually platonic. It just shows how much heteronormativity there is in the fandom, which is sad for a show that was so groundbreaking with its canon queer relationships. Not every character on a main cast of a show has to end up in a relationship either. That’s a really shitty and cheap way to show how much a character has “healed” from trauma, too, which is clearly what half the crew wanted to do to Hunter. The potential they had before the show was shortened to show Hunter discover he also has interest in boys like Zeno wanted also doesn’t make him less bi, but I don’t hear people talking about that.

In Dana’s PostHoot stream she mentioned that Belos possessed a lot of animals while in the human realm.

This made me think that animal control likely caught him at one point and assumed he was rabid (he probably was).

Alright I'll just ignore Dana saying the Collector didn't have a timeskip design because he wouldn't have aged, like I ignore most of what she said in that PostHoot podcast

Seconding that last anon about Gus, and it's apparent even outside of the series itself. In all of the content we have for the beta and pilot and animation test versions of the series we can see previous versions of the rest of the Hexsquad and several other characters, but no Gus. Also if you watch the last Posthoot with Dana she talks a bit about many of the other characters and then one of the crew members has to remind her about Gus. He was clearly a last minute addition and the writers don't care about him at all.
