All of this,except post-reveal Eric isn't any less of a nerd. He's the ultimate "theather/band kid who decided a STEM career was a better choice because money",considering what we saw from him,lol. Eric is an uber-dramatic software engineer/CEO of the equivalent to Microsoft/Apple/Google/whatever. The latter alone should've clued in that he was evil,but alas.
