Good morning/good afternoon! Could you write some hcs for Poseidon!Ramattra having a crush on a mortal!reader and how he'd attempt to woo them? I had so much fun with the (apparently 'first annual') Battle for Olympus game mode. 🌊🐠🔱

Oooo sure! (I'm also not at all basing these off of Greek myths because the gods in those are terrible people who need to go to jail)

First of all, lucky you, you got the attention of a god! Pat on the back gold star

Ramattra was, at first, a little appalled that his first crush was on a mortal

But he learned it was normal so he decided to try and woo you

Through large gifts and display is the water, he tried his best to impress you

But you just seemed confused

He was scared to come up to you in his regular form after how many mortals he'd seen flee from him

So he stuck to the waves and admired you from afar

You personality was absolutely beautiful to him your kindness and wit, especially your laugh he loved to hear you laugh

So he chose a human disguise once he couldn't take not being near you a second longer

He was able to grow closer to you from there

Once you two had known each other for nearly three years he couldn't hold back his feelings any longer

He revealed his true form to you and nervously said his feelings to you

If you accepted he'd be over the moon and promised to visit you every single day

But if you declined he'd deflate and slink back to the ocean

He couldn't bring himself to cause any storms though, afraid he'd hurt you

(Snippet from a Poseidon fic I'm working on)

You knew that if you didn't obey that he'd let you drown. You were lucky to have survived this long just by following all of his demands, and this was no different.

Falling to your knees, cold ocean floor pricking your skin, you look up at him.

"So good for me." He sits down on the edge of his bed, hand grasping your lower jaw tightly.

Just those words alone make you weak, unable to resist the charm he had. Maybe it was his powers making you submissive, either way, your hands trail up his thighs and the heat between yours grows.

He leans forward, eyes meeting yours as he speaks lowly. "Try anything stupid, and I will take away your ability to breathe down here." Ramattra cocks his head to the side. "Got that, little mortal?"

You nod, teeth sinking into your lower lip.

"Good." He leans back, brushing your hair behind your ear before pulling your head forward. His other hand pulls free his cock, letting it rest against your cheek.

Without any further command, you move slowly, licking up the blue muscle and then back down. His hand remains on the back of your head, letting you move on your own volition for now.

Low grunts escape him, turning into growls when you finally slip your mouth around him, taking him in at an agonising pace.

He knows you are teasing, his restraint still holding strong, so he decides to let you have your fun. Though, the moment he feels his restraint waver, he won't be so merciful.

When he feels the head of his cock reach the back of your throat and then further, he groans, hand grasping your hair tightly. He wants to hold you there, but you pull back, hollowing your cheeks before letting go with a small pop.

Ramattra stares down at you, circuits running hot and then burning some more when you look up at him. Oh, those eyes.

You move back, tongue teasing his tip before wrapping your lips around him and moving back down his shaft.

"Little mortal..." He moans, head tilting back slightly and the grip in your hair tightening.

It feels too good for the omnic, pleasure clouding his systems, then images of you follow suit. The way your smile would make him warm, gentle laughter echoing through his receptors.

He realises something in that moment.

Was it wrong for a god to fall in love with a human?

Your usual duties were well.. Usual, most of the time Poseidon was doing his own thing which meant you both could continue in peace.

“Do you need assistance?”

His arms wrapped around you, he felt nice on the hot summer day, he kept you cool and your head on your shoulders.

“I.. Do not.”

Though he made it hard to think, the god made you feel light, like you were floating.

“Are you positive? I could assist you.”

“You being here is enough.”

He was always there, your own god who truly loved and adored you.

“As you wish. Would you like me to remain holding you?”

“You know the answer to that.”

A small chuckle escaped him as he nuzzled your hair.

He was not one to spend time on the land with a mortal, but you were different. Since the first time he had stumbled upon you, wandering his shoreline with a distressed look on your face, he was curious about you.

No mortal had ever been nice to him, the god of the sea, so it was all foreign to him, but from the get, you were friendly, not seeing him for being a god but more of a friend.

He had helped you that day and you owed him for that and perhaps that's when you had the idea to make a small gift for him. It was a silly idea, but you hoped it would make him feel appreciated.

You waited on the shoreline, gift in hand as the waves rolled by. It didn't matter how long you waited as you knew he would come. He wasn't one for letting you wait.

After a few, seemingly long minutes, he rose from the sea, trident in hand as he strode towards you.

"You are back." It wasn't a question, more of a statement. There was a hint of happiness in his tone too, one you picked up on which brought a sense of ease to you.

"Yeah, figured I'd stop by to give you this." You stood up, careful not to break the gift in your hands.

"You want to give me something?" Genuine curiosity. "No mortal has ever given me a gift. I would be honoured."

You smile up at him, taking a step towards the god before holding out the flower crown.

"I know it isn't lavish or expensive, but I made-"

He didn't give you chance to speak as he knelt down onto one knee with his head bowed. Knowing it was handmade by you was all he wanted to hear.

You were gentle in placing it upon his head and he liked that. Mortals were destructive but you were not.

The flowers complimented the blue metal that made his body, yellow flowers to the gold.

"A god with two crowns." He chuckles as he stands. "Thank you."

It didn't make sense to him in that moment, though he kept it quiet. He knelt before a mortal, accepted a gift from a mortal. When was the last time he had been around a mortal other than yourself?

"Perhaps you would like to join me for a stroll? The air is kind on this evening." He offers his hand to you.

"I would like that."

"Perfect. I do enjoy your company."

I have a few, lets see....

He's gentle and he hates it. He's a god and gods are supposed to be firm; the other gods would laugh at him and it irks him more than he would like to admit.

Ramattra would hide you away, a god and a mortal? Practically a sin amongst the divine.

Love was foreign to him, partners in the past never lasted long but he had this warmth, an unfamiliar feeling, spreading through his chest whenever his optics would land on you.

He would never forget the first time you joined him in the depths of the sea, how you tightly held him as he traversed the currents and then the way your eyes glittered in the ethereal lights illuminating the dark abyss when he finally touched the ocean floor.

Never wants you to leave his side, it's almost as if he has claimed you.

Absolutely LOVES to tease you, doesn't matter what for. He enjoys the way you squirm and try to hide from him.

He enjoys the way you put up a fight, playful or not. A god of any calibur would scoff at a mortal doing such an act, but Ramattra? He wants to see how far you'll go.

Ramattra will protect you, a mortal, even if it would inevitably kill him.

"You seemed to have relaxed greatly."

"Mhm."

Your voice was small as you curled closer into him, you felt so safe in his arms, in his presence.

"Are you going back to sleep?"

"Can't help it, you make me feel safe."

"I will always be here to protect you."

"Thank you Poseidon."

Ramattra nuzzled into your hair and pulled you closer, it was wonderful to be able to have this relationship with a human.
