Thai food tends to have a lot of polyunsaturated fats (lots of fried food in vegetable oil) and it is quite hard to choose the dish without it. If I eat Thai, I tend to eat seafood salad without noodle. Unless you get organic rice, I avoid rice as well, because standard grade rice is still sprayed with a lot of pesticides here and you don’t know how much residue is still on it. If you want starch, you can have grilled banana. - Another good option is grilled or boiled seafood, and I bring my own ghee and sea salt. I prefer squid because prawns and other fish are most likely farmed. Thai curry with coconut is also good but you don’t know how much oil they used to fry the curry paste etc. Non-fatty soup is great, like Tom yam and mushroom soup, but again, you have no idea what base they use for the broth... 🤨. - Fortunately you can get hold of a lot of great ripe fruits here in Thailand! Oranges and guava are great for juicing, and mango and coconut are amazing to make jelly and ice cream!!! - #raypeat #prothyroidfood #prometabolicnutrition #prometabolic #polyunsaturatedfats #thaifood (at ตลาด อ.ต.ก.) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1Sz3WpB-Vh/?igshid=1wpudwcvsuydu

….And people are brainwashed to think that these oils (nuts, seeds and respective oils) are healthy and anti-inflammatory. Unfortunately you have been mislead. Do the research. Why would you want to ingest something that is used in a house hold product!?!?!?! * Why? They block the thyroid from releasing hormones, inhibits the liver from converting T4-T3, affects thyroid carrier proteins thus decreasing the bioavailable amount and the amount that can get to the cells, block T3 from binding to receptor sites and affect how our cells metabolize energy. The list goes on but these are a few reasons why polyunsaturated fasts are NOT healthy. * Vegetable and seed oils like safflower, sunflower, corn, soybean, cottonseed, peanut and canola all contain polyunsaturated fatty acids. The unsaturation of the PUFA’s makes it toxic. The double bonded carbons missing hydrogen atoms is what increases vulnerability and susceptibility to oxidation and free-radical formation. PUFA’s contain multiple double bonds carbons, which act as hot spots on the fatty acid. These hot spots are quick to react with radicals and other energy shifts like light, heat and oxygen. The human body is full of heat and oxygen. The process of PUFA damage from light, heat, oxygen and radicals is called lipid peroxidation. * “The results indicate that the unsaturated long-chain fatty acids are potent inhibitors of thyroxine binding to thyroxine-binding globulin, whereas the saturated fatty acids have little or no effect on thyroxine binding.” http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2869786) * Click the link in our profile to learn more about our nutritional approach 👌🏻 #eastwesthealing #realfoodgangstas #hypothyroid #hypoglycemia #cells #polyunsaturatedfats #hypothyroidism #nutsandseeds

#benifitsofchiaseeds Chia seeds have been a staple in Mayan and Aztec diets for centuries. Today, they draw the interest of many people for their health benefits and uses in cooking. #pebveg *Chia seeds were first used by Aztecs. It turns out #chiaseeds are a rich source of nutrients and antioxidants. Omega-3 Fatty Acids Chia seeds are rich in #polyunsaturatedfats, especially omega-3 fatty acids. Chia seeds' lipid profile is composed of 60 percent omega-3s, making them one of the richest plant-based sources of these fatty acids -- specifically, of alpha-linolenic acid, or ALA. The omega-3s in chia seeds can help reduce inflammation, enhance cognitive performance and reduce high cholesterol. Fiber #Fiber is associated with reducing inflammation, lowering cholesterol and regulating bowel function. Chia seeds are an excellent source of fiber, with a whopping 10 grams in only 2 tablespoons. That is one-third of the daily recommended intake of fiber per day. Antioxidants Chia seeds are rich in #antioxidants that help protect the body from free radicals, aging and cancer. The high antioxidant profile also helps them have a long shelf life. They last almost two years without refrigeration. Minerals Two tablespoons of chia seeds contain 18 percent of the DRI for calcium, 35 percent for phosphorus, 24 percent for magnesium and about 50 percent for manganese. These nutrients help you prevent hypertension and maintain a healthy #weight, and are important for energy metabolism and a part of DNA synthesis. Satiety #Satiety is the feeling of being full and satisfied, which helps lower food cravings between meals. The combination of protein, fiber and the gelling action of chia seeds when mixed with liquids all contribute to their satiating effects. Gluten-Free Chia seeds contain no gluten or grains. Therefore, all of the nutritional b

Why are they used in paint varnish? Well, they oxidize very quickly in the presence of air (oxygen) which allows them to dry fast. Your probably thinking, why do we care about paint varnish???? Well, because most of you eating fish oils, cod liver oils, soybean, sunflower, safflower, peanut, etc oils are eating polyunsaturated fats. These fats when ingested oxidize in the presence of oxygen in our body. They not only cause diabetes, obesity, and atherosclerosis, but they are inhibitory to the thyroid and conversion of thyroid hormone. #eastwesthealing #hypothyroid #thyroid #wearefood #restorationthyroid #realfoodgangstas #consciousnutrition #polyunsaturatedfats

It's funny how the world works. "They" say eat mono or #polyunsaturatedfats and stay away from #saturatedfat as it's dangerous. But we say the opposite...saturated fat is healthy and all unsaturated fats are #antithyroid and #antimetabolic (in excess). #realfoodganstas #eastwesthealing
