and then they gave him to buck

to athena, buck is the mangy stray dog that her husband adopted without asking her. she grudgingly tolerates him and tries to keep him alive so bobby won't kill himself and even harbours fondness in her heart for him once he's been properly socialized. but she is NOT his mom
