The Misfits I am moving in a world of objects Unable to get to the point It is difficult to carry anything through to its climax Particularly when you think so The copies circulate They make use of intense concentration I experience a curious flow of power All the thought created through the ages Is compressed into a little lump in my skull Creating ethereal dream worlds For a moment, I become a child again To realize that our apparent entrapment in time is an illusion I float underneath the bridge of silence We are beyond the turning point It is accelerating from here Carla JvR 2017 A poem adapted from C.
