I couldn't ship Luisa with Petra because Petra is trying escape her own toxic relationship with her mom. I wouldn't want her to go to another. I wouldn't want Petra to be forever in danger. Her twins are still in danger due to their connection to Raf. Rose is the type to not give up on Luisa. Luisa when she is healthy and happy is great but Rose will always be her crux.

I mean obviously Rose needs to poof forever. I actually don’t know how this’ll work on JTV because the backlash tends to be intense when an lgbtq character is killed off, but I do feel like characters like Magda and Rose just... have to go by the time the series ends, otherwise I don’t think I’d ever feel like people like Petra, Luisa, will ever truly be at peace. And they deserve that. 

But anyway. I still ship Luisa and Petra who needs logic in my alternate fantasy bubble, not me! :)))

I remember season one when Petra put her hand on Luisa's lap and I knew that at the time it was not good, since Petra was trying to manipulate her, but I was just... oof. And Luisa definitely has a thing for blondes, so I was always wondering how she felt about Petra when she was introduced to her by Rafael, you know. UGH!

BUT YES I REMEMBER HOW COULD I EVER FORGET 

lmfao okay. i mean. it’s not as if we’re shipping them thinking. petra manipulated luisa i ship it! it’s not that. it’s just that from this scene we see chemistry (not our fault!) and you know i just feel like with good writing, their dynamic could develop into this sort of nice balance? like. i feel like luisa could use a whole lot of petra’s loyalty and protectiveness and it would spare her so much heartache and disappointment yk? luisa is kind of… more pure? like she’s intelligent as hell but she falters a lot because her feelings are always all over the place and she’s sometimes ruled by those feelings. and petra is more the opposite, yk like there’s a part of her that’s also ruled by feelings but she’s more practical, sensible, and she’s more able to make decisions based on her head and not her feelings. and i feel like petra could talk luisa out of things. be there for her. be a steady support system for her, keep her from drinking, etc. and luisa really needs that. someone who is reliable. someone who won’t screw her over. and petra has already proven herself reliable when it comes to those she cares about. and yk in turn i feel like petra could use some of the softness, lightness that luisa has. lu has this… sort of childlike quality to her? that i feel like would be nice for petra to have more of in her life and i feel like luisa could potentially bring out the.. for the lack of a better word, ‘giggly’ side of petra. lmfao I’VE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS CAN YOU TELL. :))

like honestly i mean. with what we have in canon, the content isn’t that great, but with some development and build up and if the writers can do this sort of … idk like. i don’t think they’d get along from the get go, so i imagine they’re bound to disagree on stuff and petra’s patience is always running out when it comes to luisa but like. is that not how it was with jane and petra? not exactly the same but they didn’t get along perfectly in the beginning either. and with petra and luisa i can see them going from squabbly to slowly seeing each other in more vulnerable states and yk. moving into banter and just. THERE’S JUST SO MUCH POTENTIAL

my super top favorite lines of the entire thing which.... the whole thing is my fav lbr lmao but here we go [SPOILER ALERT DON’T READ IF U HAVEN’T READ DANI’S FIC WHICH U TOTALLY SHOULD]

“Stay,” she asks again softly with a desperation that startles both her and Petra. 

After the third time Petra’s nervous gaze flicks to her, JR decides to settle for the thing she hates the most.  Small talk.

“Which ex?” Jane tells herself she’s keeping up the rhythm they’ve fallen into. She’s definitely not trying to figure out if it’s an old ex or a new one.

“Just them?” You had nothing to do with it?” JR finds that hard to believe, there’s an underlying touch of Petra around them. The soft pastel colors, the low lights, the coolness that still somehow manages to exude warmth.

“I’ll let Luisa and Rafael know you like it.” Her smile is pleased as if after all this time JR’s opinion still matters. 

“Of course.” Anything to make this moment last longer.

I REALLY LOVE THE JR BACKGROUND, I LOVE THE TINY PLUISA PART, SO CUTE SO PRECIOUS, i love the tiny details like petra being addicted to her phone and jr smiling about the white wine, trying not to laugh about chuck and i love that it’s written from jr’s perspective ... i mean u know this is really just a long-version of me saying the fic is perfect which... is not surprising because everything you write is perfect and anyway tHIS WAS SUCH A NICE THING TO HAVE AFTER ALL THE PETRAMOS TORTURE this season i wish u wrote jtv, sob

don't get me wrong, i am beyond excited for season 5 and our petramos endgame but... petra and either of the solano siblings has my heart too. tbh, i like pluisa more as a friendship but i severely miss their dynamic (and luisa herself) so i really hope we see more of that. and petrael, their dynamic too, is so appealing. and they're so attractive together. anyways tho, one week left!! :D excited to see them all again!

I like any kind of Pluisa interaction tbh. Petra and Luisa are two of my most favorite characters on the show and Yael and Yara are always SO adorable... I’m sad they don’t have that many scenes especially since they’re in-laws... or ex in-laws and I feel like there’s always so much opportunity for it but we never get that. :( But yeah, I’m really hoping they get to have some relationship and that the twins get to have a relationship with Luisa when the show ends. And I love Petrael too! I actually think it’s one of the strongest friendships we have on the show, I hope they keep that and build on it in s5. AND!! YES!!! ONE WEEK LEFT I CANNOT WAIT!!!!
