Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist... Drunk, paranoid, weakened, broken. 

America's favorite engineer, the smirking and ever playful Tony Stark rarely slept because when he did... the nightmares came. He busied himself with scotch and robots and anything that could get them off of his mind but it never worked. He could change what ever, how ever much he wanted to but they would always remain. Ever watchful, waiting for their opportunity. 

It was always so much easier to steal away a person's mind when they are asleep. It's quite beautiful and at the same time horrifying what exactly happens to the body at this time. A chemical is released from the brain that essentially paralyzes the body and it is possible for the mind to be jarred 'awake' but the body left incapacitated. Beautiful. Stunning. Deadly. Just like the mind. So broad and yet so narrow and during sleep, it allows a part of itself forward to opens up so many possibilities. This was what they needed.

Break the mind, break the body. They may be an unfathomable distance away from the human but like the Liesmith learned, they... can still... hurt you.

They waited from sleep to take the once ironmonger to make their move. Similar to what Loki experienced with the staff, the world around the man slowly melted away as they took over. Gadgets and metal and lab equipment faded into the jagged black rock faces of the planet. Solid gray washed walls broke away to reveal the thick blankness of space, riddled with twinkling stars and distant celestial bodies. And the light, easy warmth of the lab gave way to the heavy, chilled air of space. The silence was almost suffocating, the kind that made you want to cry out just to make sure you could still hear. That things were still real.

The still was broken by the grating voice of the Other, whispering into the man's ear. "Get up, Man of Iron," the being snarled. The figure and voice faded away like smoke the moment brown eyes opened, words dying on the air.

"Time to face reality."

 Work, it was the right thing today. Even if sometimes Dad did to much of it, it was something that had to be done, and it gave them something to do. While he could just scoot into his charging station, or used to be able to anyway, it didn't seem that humans could do such a thing. They needed to lay down, or drink the stuff he was now carrying in a foam cup toward the other side of the shop. Coffee? Wasn't that what they called it? It smelled nice, but this one was for Tony, not him. So approaching one of the tablets, one his creator was working at, Dummy stood on his tiptoes and pushed the hot cup up to sit next to the working billionaires hand. "Coffee."
