Tracker I've talked about before, but recap for my new followers: In AnB, Tracker seems to be paralleling Peso's arc from the main series, about learning to be more confident in himself, etc. They also ✨ share a VA (in the UK) ✨ so I think it'd be fun if he and Peso had a lil Talk™ yk?? 👀

But PINTO— I love Pinto much. I miss him so. In The Curious Penguin we got a very mild glimpse into an internal struggle Pinto has with himself: He has trouble focusing, is fully aware of it, and even implied he's a bit insecure about it. I want to see more of that struggle, and have Peso be the one to tell him it's okay to think differently. I think it would be GREAT for the kids with ADHD watching the show <3

How hard could it possibly be to look after the ADHD fortnite kid and the little girl who psychoanalyzes you with brutal honesty?

Day 1 of this year’s Octonauts week!!! The prompt was “Favourite Character(s)” <3 last year I already did Kwazii and Paani for a similar prompt, so I wanted to add in my two favourite Junior Octo-Agents to the scene this time around >x3c think of it as my subliminal messaging for this team-up to actually happen in the show!

my favorite character has always been Peso. I have multiple favorite episodes but I will mention two. One is the Great Penguin Race, Pesos family dynamic always makes me smile and how much he loves them. Willingly competing for his brother and being a role model for him I’d think. It reminds me in the way that I’m also working hard to make something of myself to be a positive example for my sister and to make my mom proud. His family dynamic is one I wish I had and am working for to at least have with my little sister. Peso being a medic has already made his mom proud and pinto also shows admiration for him, but doing something new and working hard for it not only had everyone excited for him, but also himself. When he and Hugo are trapped and hurt his arm, his character showed and even though Hugo was competing with him, Peso made sure he was ok and was still nice to him, even confusing Hugo since he likely wouldn’t have bothered if his openant got hurt.

And my other reference would be the Caves of Sac Actun, Peso had been nervous and scared about going into the caves, and still got anxious throughout the journey. But to see him take charge of himself for the Captain and helping him with his fears was kind of moving. Remaining calm and being very patient while in this new environment and after learning about why the captain was scared, it showed how much he cares for others and was willing to do pretty much anything and put aside his own fears. Both these references are top tier for me because Peso in different situations always remained his composure to help others even when he had been scared himself.

Peso is a character I feel I can relate to a lot. From sharing interest in music, having a younger sibling and older siblings, or being Hispanic(in the U.S version). The 3rd one was important to me bc as a little kid I never remember seeing many Hispanic or Mexican (like me) characters in TV, although I started watching when I’m in high school , seeing Peso for the first time made me really excited and happy. I might be thinking a little deep, but as a kid I know I would have that same excitement and would have seen Peso as a role model I didn’t have. Showing that it’s ok to be scared and that you can accomplish a lot. He also showed me that anxiety Can be manageable and how to overcome fears in hopes to help someone come over theirs or to help them when they are hurt. I love seeing him on screen and enjoy watching him make progress in himself to become more willing to take charge and be more confident in himself; I think that’s all I can think or say as of this moment. (:
