Yeah I know it's literally been a month since I posted that gay ass birthday comic but I'm finally coming out, officially announcing it!!

Finally have some sort of design in mind for Broken Vessel/Lost Kin for my HK AU! They’re in the middle, in between Ghost and Hornet :D (aka I wanted to compare heights between these three, and yeah, Hollow is way taller than all of them lol)

Design-wise, I wanted something a bit more gray since both the Ancient Basin and the Abyss don’t have much color in their environments, and since that’s where Lost Kin spends most of their time, I wanted them to represent that a little. They also have the longest coat of any of the siblings, since their canon design has an extremely long cloak that drags on the ground. That’s also why their sleeves are so long too! They also have a buttoned vest over a collared shirt because I thought it would look nice and I like to imagine Lost Kin as a bit more old-fashioned :D I also like to imagine their hair tied back with a ribbon, though it was too difficult to portray that in this drawing of their design.

As for any plot/role I have for them in this AU… I’m thinking that after escaping the “Abyss” (the underground, locked-up facility where PK placed all the vessels/rejects from his “Pure Vessel” project), Lost Kin (who I’m going to just call “Kin” for now) ended up getting picked up by Radiance, who tries to train and use them to do some of her dirty work. However, after a while, they’re finally able to escape her captivity as well, and now they reside near the Abyss, helping other vessels escape and trying to avoid both whatever is left of PK’s influence as well as Radiance’s.

However… Kin has been left a bit scarred by their experiences. They don’t react well to anyone, though this hostility is usually less pronounced when it comes to their known siblings. Despite this though, they always seem to have some underlying sadness and softness to them. I wonder if they had a hand in Ghost’s own freedom…

First 5* is Amakusa. 3 months into playing FGO.. happened one night i was lying down and did my first 10 pull on his banner (Apocrypha) then saw rainbow sparks. my very first SSR and i never expected i would get him after waver dodged me many times :meow_wow: amakusa removed all salt i had

Recent 5* is Muramasa after not playing FGO for almost a year. It was NYE and i was bored in a party and I saw the notification. I rolled all the freebies and it was a gold spark, i thought it would be an SR saber but it was Muramussy! Blessed night. got me back to fgo again

The favorite is Amakusa because he is almost fully fou'd and he is lvl 100 ♥️ I'm really hoping I get blessed by Buster system cause I'd love to farm with him. He's my first SSR and i will spoil him. Also really loving his Phantom Thief skin. he also has optimized command codes

Most money is Merlin… cause I actually bought a pack for him when I failed on Summer.. actually maybe it was two and it was the last night i was like WTFF AM I DOING then he trolled me from the ticket rolls smh but yeah i spent like $200+ on this sexy incubus

Benched instantly is Jeanne Ruler because even though i love her and would love to have her summer variant.. i Hate Stalling strats. I will never ever spend over 100 turns on a boss when there are better options.

Most investment is Spishtar since i appended her np battery skill as well because I wanted to loop with her with 30% np charge event CEs. she is also grailed albeit lvl 92. and also i lucksacked NP2 so i guess that counts as high investment haha i didnt spend tho for her :rinblush:

Sakata Kintoki is love at first sight ever since I saw his icon and met him in London.. i am weak when it comes to buff blonde men. there is no surprise. and I cant believe I got him from a yolo 10 too. meant to be ❤️

Queen Medb is my kin. Me as a servant personified, rider class too. she is confident, ambitious, smart, sexy, charismatic, charming like she is the best version of myself. And her taste in men is similar to mine. I grailed her to 100. she is my MOTHER and i will always defend her :lol:

Cu Alter is simped cause I grailed him to 100. he is hot af. it's not just because I'm Medb kin (coincidental we both happen to simp Cu). He is also fou'd. He is also powerful. I enjoy using him for CQs as well when it works or bosses as the last man standing servant

the location is. himself. bc i like this sort of concept in palace fics

the distortion is ofc a prison (promise I'm not just saying that on account of the joker kinning lol)

the treasure is ofc in the execution chamber (yeah i had to look up what it's called. basically where top inmates are sent to be killed)

but like futaba. the teasure is also him. either he enters it and has an awakening (insert the mayoi phantom thief design) or whoever enters the palace to change his heart has to let his shadow out from there

the whole idea is his most repressed emotions, the most hidden part of him that he'll never admit to anyone, including to himself, is that he wants to live

his shadow is an inmate on death's row that's trying to escape constantly but is being kept inside by force by cognitions - which i imagine will also be versions of himself. not other shadows, but cognitions that embody the masks he puts on for other people

the warden of the prison is his mafia self. might even say his beast version, tho since i haven't read the ln yet idk how aware canon dazai of this version of himself but like. it can also be who he fears he would've become

i feel like there will be cognitions of others there, but i'm not certain how they'll come into play yet. i know odasaku needs to be there, or at least his presence has to be felt somehow (maybe wanted/missing posters of him on the walls, looking decayed with time)

yeah that's all i have so far. don't think I'll ever turn it into a fic but i encourage others to add onto it or send me their own palace concepts for bsd characters bc i love these ideas 👉👈 they're a fun form of character study

Touhou OC: Takara Yokui

The Extra stage boss for Touhou Faceted Imperial Treasures. Yup, she’s literally just some chick. With the ability to steal anything. Thing is, she didn’t just steal the imperial treasures, she stole the three imperial gods as well, thanks to Tenmei’s abilities unwittingly syncretizing the gods with their associated treasures. Upon finding out that her three bosses were kidnapped, she more or less begged the protagonists for help, leading to the Extra scenario and meeting Takara here.

-Career thief. Openly greedy and covetous. Gets involved with the incident by stealing the Imperial Treasures and taking control of the gods.

-Has been following the heroines from the beginning, always on the lookout for an opportunity to strike, explaining her presence as the game’s first midboss.

-Basically Marisa on her villain arc, but shares elements with Reimu and Nazrin too.

-Her ability to steal anything means she can steal absolutely anything without getting caught or leaving any trace of herself behind, and anything she steals cannot be taken from her unless she relinquishes ownership. Naturally, she wouldn’t give up the Imperials without a good fight.

-In fact, the only reason Tenmei found out about her theft in the first place was because she was stupid and arrogant enough to proclaim that she did so.

-With every treasure she steals, she gets closer and closer to becoming a youkai. Her already bitter and jaded personality can only get worse from here.

-Family was exiled from the Human Village after the illegal dealings of a certain relative. As a result she looks on other humans with resentment and feels more kin with youkai, spirits, etc.

-She knows nothing but hardship, materialism, and the cruelty of the world. If someone were to treat her with genuine friendship, she would be confused and terrified.

While we dont know yet if they will be plot relevant, something tells me that either Leo or Kii are gonna be the "Akechi" of the game, since it seems to mirror a lot the original game

Leo, well, his costume and persona looks so much like a power ranger/super hero, just like Princekechi. Maybe instead of a detective he is more of an actor working in some fetherman-like show.

Kii, we dont know a lot about him, but from his nickname (im pretty sure it means gold) and from the sticker he is dressed like some rich boy i feel like he will be a pain in the ass. Plus his persona has a lot of tree immaginery going on, thing that is usually connected with viking myths.

Also if someone can correct me: from what i know in asia, expecially China, freckles are a symbol of bad luck

I think I might've pointed out something similar about Leo's superhero vibe reminding me of Crow back when we first saw him? That was months ago, so I might never actually have gotten it into a post, haha. But I absolutely agree! One of his datamined voice lines from the first beta mentions it being like a tokusatsu drama, so that's absolutely the vibe he's trying to go for, too. Admittedly, I do think he's more likely another Phantom Idol than a story character- I think he would've gotten as much focus as Soy in the trailer and promo info released, otherwise- but I suppose there's still hope for at least another few hours, haha!

If he is a Phantom Idol, I suspect he's not intended to parallel a P5 character, but he may still end up having similarities even if he isn't. I kind of got the vibe (again, from the teeny handful of voice lines we got in the first beta's data) that he might be a bit more outwardly nerdy/excitable than Akechi? Maybe "earnest" is the word I'm looking for? I'd totally believe that out of the mask/the real Leo at least has dreams of being an actor or something along those lines, especially in that kind of production.

For Kii, I think you're thinking of 金 (kin) for gold? Which doesn't necessarily mean it couldn't be tied to that, but as I'm sorta suspecting he'll also be a Phantom Idol (just with a story counterpart, like Tomoko), I'm similarly suspecting his Merope-given codename'll just be a shortening of, or joke on, his real name, much like all the confirmed Phantom Idols have been.

(For the record, my Japanese dictionary returns the following definitions for Kii (different words based on different kanji that "kii" could be written with): "odd; strange; queer; peculiar", "displeasure; offense; offence; disliking", "your will; your wishes; your request", "position of aircraft", and "Kii (former province located in present-day Wakayama and southern Mie prefectures)".)

I had originally only really noticed the top of his Persona was kinda like fire (kind of like Yosuke's Takehaya Susano-o in P4), but looking at it again, you are so right about the tree imagery going on! Maybe you're right about the viking thing, too (admittedly I've never gone too deep into Norse mythology, haha).

From his glasses + expression in the sticker (and disappearance of glasses in his All Out Attack cut-in), and how he seems more serious/cold as a Phantom Thief, my take on him had sort of been, up to this point, that he'd be more of a nerd that's perhaps trying very hard as a Thief/trying to look cool/trying to be taken seriously, or something along that line, and his real-world counterpart is the Mishima parallel (going by a guess from there that maybe Kii's a Phantom Idol, so it's like Kotomo). But I do agree that what we can see of his sock and shoe in the image does sort of have a "rich kid" vibe to it, haha. It could just be related to whatever his thief theme is?

I did a really quick search about freckles in China, and while I'm not sure if they're bad luck (again, quick search, maybe I missed something/didn't go deep enough) it seems like they do tend to be considered unattractive/ugly, which I believe was also the case even here in the US in the past. But that's a good angle to come at this from- personally I think the freckles are cute, but the developers probably had a different intention...

he hides his face now , mafuyu knows he can't get the answer for everything ; but it's an unbearable process in the meantime , wishing for these emotions to end .

( how do you manage ? ) again , that question . for his audience , it seemed to always be impossible , miraculously undone ; the arrogant acts of a phantom thief confounding one after another as he broke beyond all boundary of common sense and reason with a wink and a smirk . yet he's never bore any sense of legitimate awe in regards to himself , severed from humanity and shunned by his own kin , nursing never-healed wounds as he sorely wandered : the sole bearer of black wings amongst brilliant , light-filled works .

like this --- lost , ghost-like and drifting . dark could have lowly laughed ; could such words have even been used to describe someone who was perpetually chained and bound ? why was it the more anyone found themselves forcibly set upon any single path , simple fates and immovable destinies , that their steps only became more and more unsteady , until they themselves were lost ?

i should never have been born --- he shuts his eyes . not to mafuyu's suffering but his own , a soft-mourning whisper long turned away from so that he might not succumb to the same hollow feeling , of being nothing more than a child for whom everything felt to be in jagged , unsalvageable shards and pitiful tatters . he can feel himself snarl and bite in stubborn , furious resistance : even if things were in pieces , someone still had to do something . if there was no one left but you , then it was you who had to . pick things up , even if it hurts . even if you have to cry . even if everyone else tells you , there's no meaning , the world will forget , all is lost , forever and ever , amen .

he lacks lecture , just as he lacks any chide . mafuyu's head must have already been spinning , toppling with whirling ideas that ripped even a struggling heart apart as it creaked and ached . dark's whisper , thus , accompanies a small , familiar hum . humans were horrible , the world could be cruel and unjust . even so ,
