anyway i love them so much but i do have to say. they have this weird paradox where they have this incredibly touching canon plotline, and they're almost universally loved by fans as at least a close friendship, but they themselves really don't... get a lot of focus? they appear in a lot of fics and other fan content, but if you could filter out the content where they're only a background couple, i feel like their tags would be incredibly small. tbf this happens with most fandoms not just DR and is more of a widespread problem w how people treat wlw ships, but it's worth sayin i think

Oh a lovely question!!! Thank you anon for asking! I'll also tell you a secret - I am always in a patf mood 😹 👸🏿💋🐸

If you haven't, you can check out Whatever It Takes, one of the fics I've written here. You do need an ao3 account to read it (I locked all my fics to avoid having them fed to AI).

In that story I wrote Naveen's parents as strict but kind. Also totally fed up with Naveen's bullshit lol. At least that's how I hope they come across.

Regardless of that story, I do like to think of them as no nonsense but with an extremely blind eye towards disciplining their sons. My reasons for this change depending on the setting I'm thinking of at the time. The one consistency is usually that they learn whatever lesson they needed to learn once Naveen's brother is born.

A lot of the reasons I have for why they spoiled Naveen so much are tragic and so they feel guilty enough to spoil him rotten. For example, they had trouble conceiving so he's a bit of a miracle child, Naveen had a difficult birth, Naveen had some life threatening illness as a child or was almost killed in an accident. Maybe an older sibling of his died (illness, or maybe even WWI). Or there's the reason that they were just too busy and didn't have much time for him.

But as I said, whatever path my mind has gone down, his parents realize how to do better with Naveen's brother once he is born.

Then with Tiana, obviously they love her! Whether that happens instantly or not is another thing I like to imagine in different scenarios haha.

Same with Eudora! I love to imagine them having so much fun together!

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I did when I first started out, these days I'll usually only respond to comments that pose an interesting question or point about the text or that have an especially entertaining element to them.

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

A Bard Called Dandelion. More bittersweet than angsty, 531 words about outliving everything you love.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

To quote @slusheeduck: "Probably Teacher AU. Literally everything tied up neatly for the happiest ending possible."

7. Do you write crossovers?

I've done some Coco x PATF since I've got OCs from those universes who are star crossed lovers. Also have a DBH fic that takes place in the Witcher universe, but only with DBH characters on screen.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

I don't think so? Occasionally there's a comment that's bizarre/poorly phrased/the commenter has terrible reading comprehension, but not really anything actually intentional.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Nope! In fact, back when I first started writing fic I was the kind of person who legally and unironically could not say Fuck.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I've had a couple of my most popular oneshots unskillfully copycatted, but no copy-pasting theft that I can recall.

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! For sure in Spanish, Russian, and Chinese that I recall (and a couple podfic recordings which I love). I have an open policy of my works being fair game for translation as long as I'm credited and tagged.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I got into this game in the first place by co-writing with Slush hahaha. And I've got several DBH co-written pieces since I was part of a robust fandom writers server back in the day.

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Ruia. Ruy (a Coco OC) and Iria (a PATF OC) that are the prettiest disasters you ever did see across all their AU's. <3

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

I've got a discontinued Incredibles fic and a Frozen one that I'm real sad didn't get finished even though I know the rest of the plot for them. Ultimately they were good ideas I had when I wasn't in the social circles of the fandoms they were for and so I lost steam.

15. What are your writing strengths?

Seeing a poorly executed concept and obsessing over why it rubs me the wrong way until I figure out how to do it good and I suddenly have a great story.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

I have so many creative projects going at all times (wood working, linocut, soft sculpture, ect.) that writing isn't my one true creative love like it used to be, so if I fall out of love with a project it's toast.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Nice spice when done in moderation and with a native speaker's double checking when possible.

Pretty content rn actually! If I really want to write it it generally gets done.

Sometimes! Depends on my mood--I get in "I need to say thank you to every comment or I WILL die" moods sometimes, and then others I don't respond to anything unless there's a question/comment that bears responding to.

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I've got a good few--I'm a sucker for a good bittersweet ending. A lot of times, like with Liberties and Time and Circumstance, the angst factor comes from knowing how the story ends in canon. Probably the angstiest writing was And Therewithal I Cut My Hair.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

Probably Teacher AU. Literally everything tied up neatly for the happiest ending possible.

7. Do you write crossovers?

The Ruy stories (from Villain AU, which I worked with Wit on but he ultimately wrote) were a crossover with PatF, but otherwise not really. I think about it sometimes with various fandoms tho.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Uhh, not really unless you count my pre-AO3 days when a guy gave me a dressing down over a fic I was begging people to read when I was 13 and didn't know what I was doing. (Grateful to that guy, in the end! I learned how to format properly out of spite.) I did have one person come in to all my Frozen fics and rewrite them in the comments on ffnet, though. Not hate, but...strange.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I just wrote my first full smut scene in a fic and I'm still recovering.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not stolen, but one person did rewrite a fic I've written to be more angsty.

I...think someone translated Teacher AU, but I can't remember fully.

Oh just a few.

Honestly, at the end of the day, probably Victuuri. I've had other ships, but the 30 day challenge I did for them was one of the most fun things I've written.

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Oh, I don't know. Probably my Gravity Falls fic or my Iduna/Agnarr Frozen backstory. I still have those guys percolating in my head and periodically want to come back to them, but I have so many other projects.

Dialogue dialogue dialogue. I thrive with that, and my stuff frequently ends up being people sitting and talking for a whole chapter. No one's complained yet tho.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Endings. I always struggle with ending things, and there's a few fics where when I reread them (because I'm a big fan of reading my own fics, since that bitch writes exactly what I want to read) that I just straight up do not read the last chapter because I hate it so much.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I do this with reckless abandon and I do not apologize ever. Sometimes I translate, sometimes I leave it to context clues.

I'd love to write some Bloodweave one of these days, but alas, it would have to be for an ask or something.

01. the best and most interesting version of the story of the phantom of the opera is the - if you will - O.G., but leroux's novel is just so tonally different from what people expect of the story nowadays that no one wants to acknowledge this.

02. the tiana's bayou adventure concept sounds SO fucking boring. i *love* the princess and the frog but i do not believe that even the greatest imagineers working today can turn "help tiana find a missing ingredient!" into a compelling log flume dark ride. everyone is hyping it up because we SHOULD have a PATF ride but gods. not like this.

03. i do not care how much somebody engages with a controversial/problematic/what-have-you piece of media in fannish ways, and i do not think a person who disavowed all their fic or whatever after something went radioactive is better than a person who did not. that said, i also think this is something on which reasonable people can disagree (and that the phrase "reasonable people can disagree" should feature in more discussions anyway).

Almost There (Paul McCartney x Reader) Part I

Summary: Miss Y/n L/n of New Orleans has been working day and night as a waitress to get her dream restaurant. Of course, being a ‘”little” woman of such a poor background, it’s been hard on her. People left and right telling her what she can and can’t do, but she’s still kept going year after year, believing that the harder she worked, the more her dreams would come true. But that may change once a charming young man comes to visit her warm little town.

AU: Princess and the Frog (Disney)

Word Count:  1323

Notes: UGH I LOVE PRINCESS AND THE FROG YOU GUYS DON’T EVEN KNOW-- But the reader is, obviously, Tiana, and Paul is Naveen. I didn’t explicitly mention that the reader was African American specifically, because I want everyone to see themselves in the reader’s shoes. I’d love to hear feedback/comments/reblogs/whatever, and I hope you enjoy, everyone! Please message me if you have any issues! I also did take an idea of making Y/n a cat. If the owner of the idea would like to message me about it so I could give you credit, that’d be great! Or if you’d like me to change it to them just being frogs, that’d be okay, too!

Part I: “Wishin’ Upon A Star”

The grand home was quiet all throughout, except for the excited squeals of Lucy as Mrs. L/n continued the story as she sewed on a piece of fabric to the sweet little girl’s dress. Lucy’s best friend, Y/n, sat beside her, her nose scrunched up as her mother told the story of the princess and her beloved frog prince.

“The beautiful, gorgeous princess leaned in...” the older woman said dramatically, pausing to fill in suspense.

“Oh, N/n, here comes my favorite part!” Lucy said quietly, leaning in as she waited for the last few words of the story’s sentence.

“...and kissed the slimy green frog!” Mrs. L/n finished, a grin on her face as she watched the two girls react in their own ways.

Lucy was ecstatic (even if she had heard the story a million times), clapping as she squealed in happiness.

On the other hand, Y/n gagged, sticking her tongue out as her mother chuckled, looking away from the worn-out book. She put her hands on her hips and said matter-of-factly, “There ain’t no way I’d kiss a frog! It’s got germs and slime and eugh!”

Lucy giggled, “I’d kiss a frog! I’d kiss thousands and thousands of frogs if it would mean I’d become a princess! Look at him on the cover, N/n, doesn’t he look handsome?” 

Y/n looked at the cover of the book. There was a picture of the kind-hearted princess and the handsome prince. Still, his good looks did not seem to sway her, as she still stubbornly said, “Still never gon’ kiss a frog!”

When the girl turned her head she saw Lucy put a green frog mask on her poor little kitten, holding him out to her.

“Oh, c’mon, N/n! Kiss him! Kiss him!” she laughed, chasing her friend around the room with the scared cat.

“Girls! Put him down, you might as well be giving him a heart attack!” Mrs. L/n scolded, taking the frog mask off of the scaredy cat.

At that moment, the door creaked open, revealing the tall figure of Mr. Edwards, a small smile on his features as he saw the two girls playing around.

“Good evening, M/n,” he greeted politely, great warmth and kindness radiating off of him.

“Evening, Lance.”

Lucy immediately dropped the dolls she was playing with and ran to her father, the man scooping her up in his arms as she cheered, “Daddy! Daddy! Oh- wait, Daddy, can I have a dress like that? Look at that dress!”

The blonde-haired girl pointed to the gorgeous pink dress the princess was wearing on the last page, her arm looped around the prince’s. 

Mr. Edwards clicked his tongue, setting his daughter down. “Now, Lucy, we’ve been over this. Missus L/n and Y/n are done with their hours for today, and you’ve already got a dress-”

Lucy, the spoiled but sweet little girl, frowned when she heard her father’s words. Her brows furrowed in disappointment as she gave her infamous puppy eyes.

“Oh, Daddy, please? Please?” she begged sadly, Mrs. L/n watching, amused as she gathered her things and helped her daughter put her coat on.

Mr. Edwards was silent for a moment before sighing, giving in. He put his hands into his pockets and looked to Mrs. L/n. “M/n, it wouldn’t be too much to ask for, would it?” he asked almost sheepishly.

“Oh, not at all. Especially to my most best customer,” M/n grinned, her head tilting to the collection of gorgeous dressed all in the back of the room, their glitter and sequins shining in the house’s light. “But it’ll have to be started tomorrow. Y/n and I have to get going now. Goodnight, everyone.”

“Of course, of course. Goodnight, M/n. And goodnight to you, too, Y/n,” he nodded, leaning down to shake hands with the young lady.

“Bye,” she said in response, grasping her mother’s arm with the one that was not already occupied.

As she left, she could hear the useless scolding of Mr. Edwards, and soon the barking of a puppy and the squeal of joy coming from her close friend. Inside of her, it felt as if a stone was placed inside her heart.

Y/n stirred the pot of gumbo, her eyes barely looking at the contents inside since she was so short (even with the aid of the stool below her). She felt the heavy footsteps of her father coming in, standing beside her.

“Mm, mm, mmm! Smells good! What’re you making, sweetheart?” he grinned, savoring the smell of the food from where he stood.

“Gumbo, Papa!” Y/n answered. “It’s all finished now. You can taste it!” 

Her papa took the spoon she handed to him, letting some of the gumbo fall into it. He was about to eat it, but looked at her, playfully skeptical.

“You sure this is finished?” he grinned, an eyebrow raised.

“Yep!” she answered, her hands on her hips proudly.

“Alright... weeeelllll, I’m about to taste... this... sou-”

“Wait!” the bright young girl said suddenly, getting down from the stool. 

She looked through the contents of the shelf before pulling out the familiar bottle of red hot sauce. She added a few drops of it into her pot before placing it back on the counter, mixing it up again before saying, “Alright! Now you can taste it!”

Her father chuckled before tasting her creating, his face not reacting one bit. He was silent for a moment, his eyes on the pot. This made little Y/n nervous, her smile fading.

“Do you... do you not like it?” she asked anxiously.

“Darling, this is,” he began shaking his head before a smile broke out on his face. “the most amazing gumbo I’ve ever had! What a talented little girl I’ve got here, yeah?”

“You just noticed?” M/n snorted as she read the paper, a grin on her face as well as she looked up to see her daughter and husband in a tight embrace.

“Well, she can’t just keep her gift in the kitchen, now can she? We gotta tell the whole neighborhood!” F/n cheered, getting oven mitts to help take out the pot, M/n getting up from her spot to get her bowls and spoons.

Minutes later, the neighborhood was gathered around the L/n house, everyone chatting as someone played an upbeat tune from their harmonica. Everything was perfect.

“That was some good gumbo, wasn’t it?” F/n said, his voice low as he tucked his little girl into bed.

“Top of the class,” M/n agreed, kissing Y/n on the forehead.

“When I’m done with work, Y/n, you and I are gonna open a restaurant, yeah? Serve everyone everyday, making all the people happy with your special gumbo. How does that sound?” he hums, brushing her h/c hair out of her face.

“Like a good idea. You promise, though?” she said.

“Promise what?”

“That it’ll be our restaurant...”

“Oh, of course,” F/n chuckled.

The little girl suddenly sat up, her eyes catching on a new star in the sky.

“Look, Papa, Mama! A wishing star! Lucy said that, if you wish on a star, that your dream will come true,” she whispered.

F/n could only smile at her wonder. “You can wish on that star, N/n, but remember that it can only take you half the way there. You gotta remember to never lose sight of what’s important, and remember to work for what you want, too, yeah?” he murmured.

“Yes, Papa,” she nodded.

With that, her parents gave her one last goodnight and exited the room. Secretly, though, she wished upon that star, her eyes closed, hopeful and true. She wished her Mama and Papa would have eternal happiness, and that someday, just maybe, they’d get their restaurant.

Ahh, this is so hard, how do you choose your favorite of all your kids? LOL! Ok, I might change my mind later, but let's say these for now (log into AO3 to read these):

The Chocolate Venus | This is my top pick because it puts real life icon Josephine Baker, the world's first Black superstar, and young royals Tiana and Naveen on equal footing in the same sphere of influence. I heavily researched this one to keep the facts about Josephine Baker as accurate as possible (she really did have a pet cheetah named Chiquita!) I also love that it puts Black female friendship front and center, which we didn't get as much of as I needed in the movie.

The Most Important Meal of the Day | This one is 100% inspired by the letter-sending chapter of my friend @danareadsbooks's fic Whatever It Takes, and I like how absolutely debauched it is. LOL!

Lovers for Life | I love Tiana and Naveen as an older couple who still very much have a fire burning for each other, and this is one exploration of that! (I have another older fic of them posted, and one in the works!)

Foolish Heart

Here’s my final piece for the Princess and the Frog 10th Anniversary charity fanzine: Blue Skies and Sunshine Zine. All proceeds went to Second Harvest Food Bank of South Louisiana.

“It’s perfectly logical.” Tiana set down a cupcake to emphasize her point before grabbing the next one.  

“Well, please enlighten me, Tia.” Lottie watched as Tiana prepared cupcakes for a birthday party at Duke’s.

“I would get crushes all the time during my freshmen and sophomore year of college. But once the class ended and I stopped seeing him, the crush went away. So, it was all a matter of proximity.” She twisted to grab a new tray of cupcakes.

Lottie pursed her lips and raised an eyebrow. She tapped her fingers. “You don’t think this is a little different? This isn’t some guy you see twice a week. You and Naveen spend a lot of time together. You actually make time for him.” Lottie stopped tapping, and joked, “I had to move in with you to see you regularly.”

Tiana waved her hand. “I just need to pump my brakes. I think that’s why it’s different.”

“Well, does it feel different?”

Tiana froze. She slowly lead the spatula across the top of a cupcake. “A little.”

Lottie sat up, eyes wide. “So why not give it a chance? I’ve never known you to run from what you want.”

Tiana recoiled, frowning. “Who says that’s what I want?”

Lottie sighed and leaned forward, resting her cheek on her palm. “I don’t know, your heart?”

“Why would it do a foolish thing like that? Besides, some distance isn’t the end of the world. We lived without each other before. It won’t kill us to go back.”

Lottie sighed again and Tiana could hear the “oh honey” in her tone. Maybe the romance novels would say otherwise but Tiana was sure this was a fluke. And, butterflies in her stomach and warmth wouldn’t earn her a degree. She could make time for boys after she graduated. 

Tiana started slapping icing on, zooming through another tray. “And most importantly, Naveen flirts with anything that moves.” She snorted, “I shouldn’t get invested in a moving target.”

“Whatever you say dear.”

Text messages were easy. Sterile. Removed. Tiana could keep walls up. When Naveen suggested something, she’d make up an excuse and maintain her distance.

<Naveen: why do you keep cancelling our movie nights?>

<Naveen: did i do something wrong?>

Tiana’s heart stopped. He noticed?

<Tiana: i’ve just been busy.>

<Naveen: really? because i just saw Charlotte in Louis’ snapstory and you said you were hanging out with her now.>

Tiana laid her forehead in her hand. Smooth sailing, huh Tia? 

Her phone began to ring.

“Hello.”

“Tiana? Can you please stop cancelling? I miss you,” Naveen whined.

Tiana scoffed, harder than she intended. “I’m sure lots of other people could watch movies with you.”

“It’s not about the movies. It’s about you. I miss you a lot and we never hang out anymore. Did I do something wrong?”

Tiana’s stomach churned. “”Don’t be silly. Quit pulling my leg, Naveen.”

“Tia please.”

Tiana could picture the face he was making. She sighed, pressing the phone closer to her ear. She feigned a distracted tone, “Hmm?”

“I need to see you. You’re breaking my heart.”

Tiana’s heart was racing. “I’ve got to go.” She hung up. 

He misses me?

“And this was last week?”

Tiana nodded.

“And you’re still thinking about it?”

Tiana nodded, again. 

“You should talk to him.” Lottie shrugged.

Tiana pressed her cheek against Lottie’s oversized teddy bear. “Do I have to?” She wrapped her arms around it.

“He likes you—”

“At least I think so,” Tiana corrected.

“Would it hurt to be sure?”

Tiana sighed.

“What’s going through that brain of yours?”

“What if one of us changes our mind?”

Lottie opened her mouth and froze. “Well...you’ll have to figure that out if that happens. Don’t you at least want to know?”

Tiana looked down. “I do. A bit.”

“So, meet with him.”

Tiana looked at Lottie who smiled and nodded. Tiana slowly pulled out her phone and called Naveen.

“Tiana!”

“Hi Naveen.”

“How are you doing?”

She smiled. His accent was stronger, dusting his words. He must be smiling. “I, um, wanted to know if you wanted to talk. We could get coffee?”

“I’d like that,” he responded, tenderly.

Tiana’s heart thudded in response. “Great. Text me a day that works for you.”

“Okay.”

“Okay...Bye now.”

“Goodbye Tiana.”

Tiana hit the ‘end’ button before dropping her phone and covering her face. She took a moment to reign in all the thoughts buzzing in her head. Your heart is still thudding and your face is so warm. Ohh girl, have you got it bad.

Tiana fiddled with the placement of her legs, alternating between crossed, at an angle, or sidesaddle. Where is Naveen?

“Ah! Tia! Good afternoon.”

Tiana raised her head to look at Naveen. “Hi.”

Naveen raised a container. “I tried my hand at beignets to celebrate our reunion.”

“You did?”

“Yes. I—” He adjusted the collar of his shirt. “I asked your mom for help. She said her recipe wasn’t as good as yours and mine never tasted a good as your mom’s.” He pulled the opposite chair away from the table to sit and set the container on the table. “Ta-da!”

“You cooked for me?”

“I did.” Naveen studied her. “Is that okay? I’m not entering a contract or anything am I? I’m still figuring out what I can or can’t do in New Orleans,” he chuckled.

“No, it’s nice.”

“You’re always cooking for us.”

“Thank you.”

“Don’t thank me yet. You haven't tried them.”

Tiana laughed. She opened the tupperware and took a beignet out. It was misshapen and felt different than hers. She took a bite; it wasn’t airy but it tasted fine. “It’s a good start. You won’t kill anyone.”

“High praise,” he teased. “Let me get us some coffee.”

“Okay.” Tiana watched him move through the line. She thought over what she wanted to say. She let out a measured exhale.

“Here you are.” Naveen placed her coffee in front of her. “I’m so glad to see you.”

Tiana smiled. “Me too.”

“Really? I-I was afraid I’d done something to upset you.”

Tiana wrapped her hands around her coffee. “No.”

He sighed, mumbling something Tiana didn’t understand. “I was really worried. Before, you’d at least tell me what I’d done to upset you.”

“I do want to talk to you about something.”

Naveen nodded, urging her to go on.

Tiana took a sip of her coffee and gathered herself, placing the coffee back on the table. “Um, we’ve been friends for a short time but I’ve come to appreciate you. I really enjoy our conversations even though I don’t always act like it. And recently…,” she put her hands in her lap, sitting back. “I’ve come to admire you and I wasn’t sure what to do. This might make our relationship different than before but I had to let you know. I had to let you know that I like you a lot.” She looked up at Naveen.

His jaw was slack. “You like me?”

Tiana grit her teeth and looked into her lap before nodding.

“Tia…”

She peeked at him.

When Naveen found her watching him, he smiled, shily. “I was convinced you hated me.”

“No, never.” Tiana shook her head.

He exhaled, dropping his shoulders. “Good. I-I like you, too. I was so afraid I'd have to live my life without you.” He looked up at the ceiling. He sighed again, glancing at her. “What are you thinking?”

“I almost never found out.” She scrunched up her face, looking at her hands.

“Hey.”

Tiana looked up at Naveen. 

“But you did.”

Her heart lurched. She smiled slowly.

“And, we can start something new,” he added.

Her smile grew and Naveen grinned back at her.

To miss out on this would have been foolish.

Theories and Spoilers for Twisted Wonderland/Kingdom Hearts series ahead! Don't say I didn't warn you!

Yuu/MC/The Player is a Twisted version of Sora.

Alright so preface Kingdom Hearts is canonically linked with Disney canon and Twisted Wonderland is based on Disney movie lore so I can mix the two and no one can tell me otherwise I'll explain later

So chapter 6 apparently just finished when I'm writing this so chapter 7 will be next with Diasomnia but will the story continue past 7? Will other students overblot or maybe will the staff? Possibly Grim too? I heard a rumour about us meeting some more RSA students but I'll believe it when I see it.

So I got an idea.

Other people have written about the MC overblotting in fanfics right (psst @wolken-himmel has a really good overblot fic go check it out) and I've seen some art of a potential Grim overblot which looked really cool but I raise you this.

If the player/Yuu/MC were to overblot, I imagine it looks pretty similar to Anti Form Sora from Kingdom Hearts 2

Yeah this guy. Remember playing KHII and you try to use a drive form and this monstrosity pops out instead so you just run around killing enemies like a damn feral monkey?

And what if their overblot monster was like Darkside? But like more Twisted-like.

Now the logistics of overblotting state that it's caused by severe distress and overuse of magic, but because I say so what if something happens to us and we suddenly gain the ability to overblot?

@wolken-himmel hopefully you don't mind me referencing your Overblot!MC fic but they came up with MC eating one of the black stones that gets left behind after the overblots and then can use magic.

So what if something like that happened to the MC? They just get so fed up with everything and finally lash out but instead of still being able to talk and communicate with people they just turn into pure corruption and malice and rage. There's no light left in their eyes as they thrash around like a wild dog until someone subdues them or they eventually run out of juice.

Look if Donald Duck can technically be the most powerful white mage in Square Enix lore than I can bring Kingdom Hearts to Twisted Wonderland okay I will not stop until Disney themselves bust down my door.

So back to my point of us the player being a Twisted!Sora.

We got yoinked into Twisted Wonderland by complete chance, right? The same thing happens to Sora in KHI on the Destiny Islands, which he then travels to the Disney worlds and helps the characters go through their story. We have lived through the events of;

Alice in Wonderland

The Lion King

The Little Mermaid

Aladdin

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Hercules

The only Disney stories we haven't played through yet are

Sleeping Beauty

(tbh I don't know what Crowley is meant to be based on someone help me)

Princess and the Frog

All of these (except for PatF) have been used as worlds and/or featured in a KH game. We can also argue that since we cannot use magic that Grim can be argued to be a de facto Keyblade since any magic is performed by him as a proxy. And in the first game Sora couldn't use magic at all without the Keyblade before he learned how to use his powers.

Now granted Sora himself didn't go through every Disney world by himself since Ventus was the one to travel through Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White in Birth By Sleep but they are connected by Sora's heart. So he's done so in spirit through Ventus since they share the same heart.

I really haven't seen anyone take this approach yet (unless it was in Japanese but I can't read japanese so I don't know) but I know I haven't seen it in English. (Unless someone else did write it and I'm just stupid) but for now I will claim this theory.
