The Oscars’ lead makeup artist, industry veteran Bruce Grayson, knows a thing or two about using the right beauty products to glam up A-listers hitting the stage.

“My dad was a film makeup artist for Lauren Bacall, John Wayne, Kirk Douglas and Rita Hayworth,” Grayson tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “I grew up in Hollywood, right down the street from the Dolby Theatre, and I continued in his footsteps.” The second-generation makeup artist specializes in live TV, including major award shows like the Grammys and Academy Awards.

“The Oscars is like two different shows running simultaneously — there’s the presenter’s show and the performance show — so I have a team of up to 37 makeup artists working with me to get everyone ready,” he says. Grayson and his team work behind the scenes to prepare A-listers for the stage, but he admits there are a few secret weapons he relies on when he only has seconds for a touchup.

Below, Grayson waxes poetic about some of the secret beauty weapons he swears by and stocked up on for the 91st Academy Awards.

電影《神鬼傳奇》中，古埃及公主安瑪奈特在黑化前的造型不但風情萬種，而且相當的時尚。而這些都是由曾在2015年憑藉《星際異攻隊》入圍第87屆奧斯卡金像獎最佳妝髮獎的莉茲雅妮喬吉歐（Lizzie Yianni-Georgiou）操刀設計。莉茲雅妮喬吉歐也花了不少心思研究，「我們深入了解安瑪奈特過去的故事，以及她是出現在埃及的哪個時空背景，我們再進一步研究，哪種符號對她而言是適用的。」她說。

實際遍訪各個博物館研究木乃伊尋找靈感的莉茲雅妮喬吉歐表示，「一開始，你會看到她身為美麗的法老，畫上藍色眼線，我其實想為她設計一款能與現在年輕人連結的妝容，但同時又忠於古埃及的色彩和造型。」她用M.A.C的青藍色修飾定型筆（Chromagraphic Pencil）和深海藍色流暢眼線膏（Pro Longwear Fluidline），描繪出眼下的藍眼線，而上眼線與藍眼線下方的眼線，則是以M.A.C純黑色流暢眼線膏和黑色眼線筆（Kohl Power Eye Pencil）描繪。

她也運用M.A.C的粉持色粉底液（Pro Longwear Foundation）和Medium Tan小麥色柔礦迷光炫彩餅（Mineralize Skinfinish Natural）打底，再以金銅色柔礦迷光炫彩餅增添閃耀光澤，而M.A.C亮粉紅色絲緞魔唇筆（Patentpolish Lip Pencil）和復古玫瑰色唇筆，打造出引人遐想的玫瑰色雙唇，平直眉則是賦予角色前衛感及力量。

莉茲雅妮喬吉歐也將安瑪奈特的指尖妝點上藍色，而這個靈感則是來自埃及法老圖坦卡門（Tutankhamun），「他的手指和腳趾都覆蓋上黃金，因此我就以此為靈感，將指尖染上藍色，讓她稍微帶有原始部落的感覺，而之後在她的手中，又出現了她應該成為女王的字樣，那個部分則是從古埃及文取材。」

為了讓安瑪奈特的造型保持現代感，莉茲雅妮喬吉歐也與團隊在假髮上注入了一些��代的潮流元素，好讓造型符合角色需要，但又不失摩登現代感。

Hi Everyone

Just in case you are not aware, wanted to let you know about the M∙A∙C Cosmetics Recycling / Reward ‘Back to M∙A∙C Program’, another ‘beauty’ recycle/reward scheme that I think is great.

So easy to be rewarded for recycling as all you need to do is return six empty M∙A∙C ‘full size’ primary containers to a M∙A∙C counter or M∙A∙C Cosmetics online and then you will receive a FREE M∙A∙C lipstick of your choice as a thank you.   You can find out more details about the recycle / reward scheme here or by asking in store.

As 100% of the selling price of VIVA GLAM Lipsticks and Lipglass is provided to organizations that help people living with HIV/AIDS, these are excluded from their ‘recycle / rewards’ program.

  I understand it may take a while to have six ’empties’ to return but it is still a great way to be rewarded for recycling especially if you purchase a lot of M∙A∙C products already. As I use my ‘hero’ M∙A∙C  eyeshadow in ‘Shroom’ as a base on top of my eye primer most days this helps, meant I recently had a another six empty containers to return / recycle in exchange for a FREE lipstick.  It was perfect timing as my favourite M∙A∙C  Cremesheen lipstick in ‘Hot Gossip‘ (RRP £17.50) was almost finished so I chose to get it as my FREE Lipstick.

I love this lipstick as it is the perfect ‘pink’ shade not too light or dark and as it is in the cremesheen formula so easy to apply and feels so good on the lips, need to reapply a number of times throughout the day but I do not mind this as love it so much.  I also have found that the M∙A∙C PatentPolish Lip Pencil in ‘Kittenish‘ (RRP £18) is the perfect partner as almost the same shade and just gives that extra sheen to the lips, it is beautiful on its own as well, so creamy and comfortable.
