Still on the third day of January I started to draw the back pocket of the journal, this pocket I didn’t make it came in the journal, but at least I could decorate it. I used some of my favorite patterns and one that my friend created, we call it “little cow” because it resembles a little the black and white cows.

In the last page of the journal, I made a pocket. It’s not very good and I still need to glue it from time to time, but I’m keeping some papers in it. There I also draw.

In the third picture you can see both parts of the drawing.

As I had drawn in all the pocket page, I decided to draw in the inside cover of the journal too, since it’s paper. So I drawn all around the pockets and things I put there. This one is a tad bit chaotic, but at least I like the pattern I drawn in the middle it’s one of my favorites. 🩷🥹📓

I chose to make this composition with a leaf from my father’s country house. I had drawn this leaf some months ago in a small post it and I decided it would be good. I loved it.

In the fifth day of January I decided to decorate one more page, thinking about elements I could use in it, I remember those pictures of my baby Jooheoney from Monsta X and decided it was a good idea to have a page dedicated to him since he gave me force many years ago when I needed, he and Monsta X of course. I cut some beed and honey related things cause his nickname is JooHEONEY. I drawn my tangles as usual and tried to venture a little into lettering, but as you can see I’m not very talented at it.

On the first day of the year I made so many things. I started the journal and had a burst of inspiration so I’m gonna show all I did.

First I started doing those pockets so I could carry material to work on in it. Behind the cover I used this plastic little bag that came with something I bought, it closes so I thought it was perfect. The other one with a handsome baby man in it is and envelope a friend of mine made and gave me with some small gifts. On the other side I cut a scrap paper to make the pocket.

The drawings were made after it at different days. I put the date on them, maybe later I can take a more detailed picture focusing on the drawings.

Also on this same day I did this page with this beautiful flowers that I had dried inside the same notebook, it was supposed to be a journal many years ago, but I kept writing and after some time throwing the pages away, so that’s why the paper is ripped up there.

The second one, I decided that I’m gonna glue in this page all the remaining paper I get to have after I finish a work, I’m dating all of them too. And the last one is supposed to be a page where I’m going to stick all the small pieces of washi tape that I have from things I get or when I use and need to cut some piece.

On the second day of the year that’s what I did, I drawn some tangles in the small pocket I made so it didn’t stayed all clean, and I loved it. It’s all really organic with plants and all. I often see catch myself staring at all the pages, bit especially this one. It makes me feel good and comfort me. 🩷🥹📓
