missed you.
18+ only, please!
abby x f!reader
minor(?) spoiler in author note
a/n: hello everypony! i’m star!!! SO IM ALMOST (i am done as of 1/22/24. started this fanfic b4 this quick note) DONE WITH THE LAST OF US 2 AND GOOODD FUUUCKKKKK!ING DAAAMMIIITTTT!!! abby so obviously has comphet idk WHY THE FUCK she slept with owen. that scene was CRAZY but we did in fact get boob shot so i am kind of satisfied. not only that RIGHT WHEN HE STARTED GOING AT IT MY FUCKING DAD WALKED IN?? i literally JAMMED my thumb against the pause button i thought i broke the goddamn controller. me and my cousin were shocked (she was watching me play). but i, of course, am the master of hiding such things so it was easy. thank FUCK the pause screen goes dark because oh my god it was so obvious.
brief summary: your girlfriend, abby, is back from a mission and you show her just how much you missed her.
tw / kinda fluffy, pet names, use of y/n (maybe idk), cunnilingus (a receiving), slight head crushing, scissoring, established relationship w abby
intentional lowercase. not proofread, probably won’t ever be proofread.
✭・.・ ✫・゜・
“abby!” you waved her over and watched as the muscular woman made her way to you. you were sat at the lunch hall, at your own little table everyone called practically yours.
“baby,” she greeted with that warm smile she tends to put on for you. it was exciting. you hadn’t seen abby in days and now she’s finally back from her mission. she wrapped her arm around you tight as she plopped into the space next to you.
“i’m sorry i couldn’t come,” you whispered into abby’s neck while leaning into her. “isaac is so mean to me.” abby chuckled and rubbed your shoulder with a large hand.
“all good.” she squeezed you closer, smooshing your smaller frame against her side. you wrapped an arm around her and buried yourself into her to feel her closeness. “missed you, sweetpea.” her voice tickled your scalp; a hum full of content left your throat in response while your nose nuzzled into the crook of her neck.
“missed you, too, abby,” you sighed in a hushed tone, your fingers coiling around hers. you looked up at her, your eyelids finding themselves fluttering at her loving gaze. you spoke, “wanna show you how much,” and you watched as corner of her mouth twitched up; she eyed you with almost-amused eyes.
it was routine: long mission, come home, make love. this was just part of the process.
“oh, yeah?” she started, “and how are you gonna do that?” she teased you slightly, but her eyes showed her knowing. you huffed a little at this coy act and got up, pulling her along with you.
you guided her across the way, hurriedly traversing hallways and rooms and trying to dodge the kiddos and finally! your room. manny had gotten used to your routine, so he intended to stay away from the room as much as possible for that day — or maybe the next few.
you pushed into the large room, the muscular woman following in suit. she shut the door, locked it, the usual.
“alright, baby,” she purred and picked you up, but your hand slapped lightly against her shoulder.
“put me down,” you huffed, “said i wanna show you. not you show me.” abby smirked that smirk and put you down. your arms wrapped around her neck, a small pout playing at your lips.
“a—h, i see,” abby replied with a hand to run down your side. it stopped at your hip, squeezing the flesh that rested there. “gonna worship me t’night, sweetpea?” she let out a little chuckle before stepping away from you and down the small steps, finding her bed. she nodded her head to you, practically beckoning you over. it’s the best you’re gonna get — abby doesn’t beg.
you followed the quiet order, doing what you do best for her. you didn’t kneel yet, but you did bend over to find the button of her jeans.
“off,” you muttered while your fingers fumbled with the easy task. she pushed a hand away, allowing herself to tug her jeans and boxers off. what it revealed to you always froze you for just a second: her vulva. it was trimmed, blonde, and her pubic hair was straight. you looked up at her as if asking for permission, which she of course gave by sinking deeper into the bed, her hips nudging toward you.
you gently pushed her shoulders down before finally kneeling at the bed, appreciating the beauty that was emanating such heat.
it was slightly pinker, and it glistened with desire. her outer labia was slightly puffy; you allowed your index and middle finger to gently spread it, showing her clenching hole to your hungry eyes. her clit was already protruding from its hood, hard and throbbing for friction.
your eyes flickered to hers for just a second before your mouth opened, your tongue slipping out and dipping just slightly into her wet darkness before guiding itself up right to the raw of her clit. her hips rolled in response and she thoroughly adjusted her body, her hands pulling against the back of your head.
the soft, low moans she made always did it for you. it was the encouragement you didn’t know you needed until it happened. it was almost angelic.
your lips enveloped the small bud, gently sucking it while your tongue flicked against the top of her clit.
“f—uck,” she moaned deeply, pulling your head closer to her drooling cunt. your arms wrapped on the underside of her thighs, folding and stopping at the top of her thighs. your hands continued to spread your legs whilst they desperately tried shutting. “keep working that damn tongue.” upon that request, your tongue swirled across her clit, up down left right and over and under and oh, my. those moans. whimpers and whines left her throat, unable to vocalize anything more.
“abby,” you sighed into her heat and let your tongue slurp up her desire. “y’taste so good.” you kissed at her clit, then moved down, slipping your tongue into her while your nose bumped her clit.
“keep going, baby, i’m almost there,” she moaned out whilst her hands reached toward your hair to pull you deeper. with your face smooshing against her cunt, her thighs shut tightly around your head. “yes, god, fuck…”
your mouth was relentless, even as she tipped over the edge; her clit throbbed and her vagina clenched around your tongue. you lapped it all up, of course, needing to taste her sweet n’ salty need. your hands reached up and underneath her shirt, caressing her chest and pinching at her nipples as she came; it only intensified the grip on your hair and the clenching of her thighs against your head.
your mouth dripped with slick, a sign of your hunger as she tugged your head away.
“abby,” you breathed, removing your clothes in the process. the thin string of your own slick connected you to your underwear as you tugged them down. she made way for you, scooting deeper into the bed as you climbed on. you sighed out a quick “fuck” before bringing your pussy down on hers.
“grind that pussy,” she growled deeply, her hands gripping your hips. “fuck.” her hands guided your movements, heavy and powerful rocks against each other.
“abby, please,” you groaned, your hand meeting your own breast to tweak your nipples. the other hand rested on abby’s thigh, keeping it spread for you to continue your work against her.
it hadn’t taken long for you, the sensations so powerful as your buds rubbed together. you sucked your bottom lip between your teeth until you were sure it was about to bleed, and your stomach became a knot.
“i’m about to-“ you started, but abby hushed you quickly.
“i know, baby, cum on me,” she purred out, “cum on my pussy, sweetheart, cum on my pussy.” and as if she had some control over your body, you came by her command. she followed in suit, your moans intermixing and your bodies convulsing. you leaned down to kiss her, holding her head close to yours as your lips danced and tongues tangled.
“i missed you,” you said softly to her after catching your breath, kissing her cheek and down her jaw. her large arms wrapped around your body, pulling you close to her while you gently kissed at her face. with a soft smile, she returned the favor with a few kisses on your chin and the corner of your lips.
“i missed you, too.”

Tenderness and rot share a border (AO3 link) -- Chapter 3/5 -- 5k -- rated M
When Carlos was a rookie cop he played a part in bringing down a major crime syndicate. Attention to detail, finding the connections others miss? He helped make the case which had roots all the way through the system.
Newlyweds Carlos and TK are returning from their honeymoon, looking forward to starting their married lives together. Any ideas they had for what that would look like disappear when they are met at airport arrivals by their fathers, APD, and Texas Rangers.
Carlos' past is crashing into his present and now the whole future they had planned is under threat.
Anyway, when I was developing this fic idea the first scene of this part was one I had so clearly in my head, and it amused me so much that I had to write it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
--
"Now I'm gonna say this one time and one time only," Judd announced clearly as the lights in the bunk room were being dimmed or turned off. "This ain't no college dorm situation, and there's not even a door for a sock to be hung on. I don't wanna hear anything because I won't think twice about pulling your asses into the shower and coolin' you off."
Nancy barked a laugh which she then tried to stifle.
"You have nothing to worry about, Judd," TK huffed, pulling himself in close to Carlos' body. The bunk wasn't designed for two people but it wasn't impossible to fit them both in there either. "Family friendly, we promise."
"I don't mind sleeping—" Carlos whispered but TK clamped his hand down over his mouth to stop him from continuing that thought.
"So you all object to me and Nance bunking up, but we're cool with them?" Mateo asked. "How's that fair."
"Tell you what, you get a literal hitman taking shots at you and then you can share a bed with your girlfriend in a room with five other people," TK said.
"I'm just saying."
"We talked about this, we all agreed," Paul's voice of reason came through. "Whole point of this is to make sure there are as many people as possible between Chris and Carlos. Only moral this guy seems to have is that he doesn't want to hurt anyone else, so we make sure it's impossible for him to get Carlos alone."
"I get that," Mateo protested, "but if something happens I'll want to protect my girl too."
"Your girl?" Marjan repeated as she walked into the room, fixing her hijab into place. "Not your team, your family?"
"You saying I can't take care of myself?" Nancy asked, sitting up in the soft darkness to stare across at him.
"Of course you can," Mateo said, "but it's my job to try. Help me out, TK, you get it. You protect the people you love."
"Which is why we're all doing this," Paul said. "Got nothing to do with who you bunk up with."
"Trust me, this is not the sexy sleepover you think it is," TK said as a few more lights went out.
"Yeah, because we should be gettin' some actual sleep," Judd said.
After that the conversation was firmly over, and the bunk room settled into the usual sounds TK knew and often found reassuring. Paul's occasional turn of a page in his book, the occasional note or beat escaping from Mateo's single earbud (he'd pretty much conditioned himself to only be able to sleep with music playing, that's how bad Owen's "One Night Strand" phase had been).
"Hey," TK whispered softly.
"Hey," Carlos replied.
"I know this is weirder than being at Dad's—"
"It's fine," Carlos said. "Really. I… actually enjoyed today. There were times, hanging out with everyone, that I felt like I didn't need to be watching over my shoulder. Like I didn't have to constantly be on guard."
"I'm glad."
"I'm glad you got to go back to work too," he continued. "TK, you need to be out there. I'll be fine here, there's plenty of people around. Being at work, we both know it'll be good for you."
"I know, and I know that everything is in place here, it's just… I still worry."
"I'm not saying you need to stop worrying, I know better than to ask that. I'm just saying that you being out there, doing your job, having some normality going on that isn't this? It's what you need."
"I need you to be OK," TK said.
"And I need you both to shut up," Judd complained.

My mother once said that if you're first child was an angel at a young age then your next would be the worst. Like a little crazy kid always getting into trouble. If I could have a conversation with my mother about her grandchildren. I would tell her she was completely wrong. Kiera was such an easy kid until after she turned fourteen, that's when she changed. Kiera is the wild one and little Padme is the little angel. Locking up my lightsaber I moved my robe entering the living room to see it covered with stuffed animals and some princess stuff. Obi-wan is sitting on the floor legs crossed bowing his head as she stands moving his lightsaber from one shoulder to the other. Padme has her hair loose wearing her red cloak we had bought her so she could outside and not get sand everywhere. Along with a small tiera on her head that we had bought from an Ewalk for ten credits for her birthday last year. "What's going on here, you two?" I asked where she aims her father's lightsaber at me sternly so I raised my hands up in surrender still smiling at her.
"State your name for the notes. I need a - witness - to see the - corner-ation. Am I saying it right, mommy?" She tilts her head to the side, shifting around on her feet. Lowering my hands I slowly bent down on a knee to be at her level. My hair is loose with two strands braided together. "Almost right sweetheart. But it's actually Coronation. So what do I call you tonight?" Padme taps her fingers on her chin in thought finally answering. "Princess Padme...now rise mommy. Daddy bend a knee." She waved the lightsaber between us and we immediately do as told. Everytime either of the girls would play pretend we would spend the whole day doing what they said. Padme's favorite game is hide and seek. Kiera would insist on practicing Jedi tricks for most of the day. "I name you daddy, the royal protector of my kingdom." He smiled up at her with his blue eyes getting to his feet. "I happily accept, Princess." He replied making her smile even bigger.
Launching forward towards her I pretend to be a monster coming to attack her castle fort of pillows. "Ragh!" Obi-wan suddenly picked her up, carrying her on his shoulders running away from me as I chased the pair. The tiny house filled with laughter until there's loud knocking at the front door. "Who could be out here?" He asked sitting our daughter on her feet, he takes his lightsaber from her hands. Slowly turning the doorknob we're met with Owen standing on our doorstep. "Ben, May. I just came from town and I thought you'd like to know Kiera was there." Pushing past my husband's shoulder I raised my voice at the farmer and protector of Luke. "She was. Where exactly!" The man folds his arms across himself, staring over my shoulder at little Padme who went to play with her stuffed animals. "Where the ships dock. I only knew it was her because she accidentally bumped into me looking for a ship with a Wookie as a pilot I believe." Obi-wan and I stared at each other. He reaches out with his freehand thanking the farmer quietly closing the door.
"Mommy. Daddy, can we watch the sunset together?" Padme's voice breaks the two of us from our shared focus. She holds a toy lizard to her chest with a tiny smile. Obi-wan heads for our bedroom rummaging around through some crates for his dessert clothes. "Daddy has to get some food. But I'll stay and watch with you, Pad." Her smile falls a little but she agrees going to grab her coat and boots. Slumping my shoulders I lean in the doorway of our bedroom watching him put on his brown Jedi robe. He hooked his blaster underneath the robe instead of carrying his lightsaber. "We should stop lying to her. She'll figure it out since her sister literally crawled through the window this morning you know?" He glanced over his shoulder finishing the last knot on his boots. I plopped down on the foot of the bed beside him sighing. "I wish we didn't have to...I wish she would just realize we aren't trapping her here Obi." He leans his head against mine, draping an arm over my shoulders. "She wants to explore, darling. She doesn't want to stay on this planet, even though we'd like her to do just that." I hate to think he's right. I honestly don't know why I didn't think this would happen. Four years ago her whole life changed when her and her cousin Leia got captured.
Obi-wan lifts his head finally looking me in the eye. He tucks some hair behind my ear resting his forehead against mine. Our lives had changed from us living in a cave to then moving into an actual house. Granted we're still a ways from town, we still take the girls there every once in awhile. Sometimes I have dreams of what could have happened if Anakin hadn't turned or Order 66 never happened. That the girls would have grown up in the Temple most likely. That Luke and Leia would get to know their parents instead of just dreaming who they were. Tiny foosteps entered down the hallway where we broke away seeing Padme waiting for me. Obi and I get to our feet and he whispered into my ear. "I'll bring her home. Don't you worry, Y/n." Nodding my head we watched him leave from the front door. Padme squeezes my hand looking up sadly. "Sissy in danger isn't she?" I bend down picking her up in my arms moving around the house so we could get a clear view of the sunset. "No babygirl. Not danger. She's just - making some bad choices is all. Don't you worry your father and I will handle it." She lays her head in the crook of my neck falling asleep when the last bit of the sunset light goes down.

All Day Affair - Charlie Gillespie x Reader (18+)
JATP Masterlist - Valentine’s Masterlist
Warnings: 18+ Smut, swearing, light embarrassment (minors DNI)
Words: 2757
Summary: A rough night before leads to a slow morning after, causing you and Charlie to be late to Valentine’s brunch plans. All is forgiven and all is forgotten when he makes it up to you in the best way he can.
A/n: This weekend has not at all gone the way I’d thought/hoped it would and so I apologize for the slow churning of fics lately but I promise I am working on some much requested fics. On a lighter note, here is my contribution to the Valentine’s Day
My eyes groggily flutter open when I hear my phone rapidly buzzing on the bedside table. Charlie’s arm is draped over my exposed midriff, no doubt a position of his own doing. As I go to move his arm off my bare skin, he holds onto me tighter groaning an incoherent string of words. I attempt to grab the maniacally buzzing device with my eyes still closed. I’m incapacitated via Charlie’s hold on my waist, and thus, all I feel under my flattened hand against the cool surface are the discarded condom wrappers from last night.
“Charlie,” I scold, still not fully awake. He knowingly loosens his grip, allowing me to sit up and it isn’t until I’m upright and Charlie’s arm drops into my lap that I realize I’m completely naked under his t-shirt. My phone has not stopped vibrating like crazy much to my dismay. Haphazardly grabbing it off the nightstand, I wait for my eyes to adjust before I read the time.
11:26.
“SHIT. Charlie! Charlie, we’re late!” I try and shake him awake. He whines miserably,
“Mmmmm, what?”
“It’s 11:26, we’re late!”
The messages are from Owen and Savannah, both of whom we were supposed to be meeting for brunch at 11. While Charlie and I wanted Valentine’s Day plans alone, we also wanted to spend time with our friends whom we love dearly. Since the original plan was for the two of us to have the evening all to ourselves, we agreed on having brunch to start the day off well. Look how that turned out for us. I scramble out of bed, and I nearly hit the floor as my legs give out from under me. Luckily, Charlie was right behind me and was able to catch me in time.
“You okay?”
“Yeah, just sore.”
“Yessss.” I fake slap his chest before we resume in the chaos, frantically throwing on decent outfits. I toss Charlie one of his band shirts turned muscle tees after hopping into a pair of jeans. Once dressed, I run to the bathroom and pass a brush through my hair in a frenzy before I begin brushing my teeth at lightning speed. Charlie appears beside me to brush his own teeth, and I’m practically sprinting out of the bathroom as he does.
“Don’t forget to fix your hair!” My legs nearly give out once more as I struggle to slip on my favorite pair of sneakers. Once I’m upright again, and stable, I grab both of our wallets and the keys to the house and car and shove them into my bag. Together we bolt out the door and clamber into Charlie’s orange Subaru.
In a nice contrast to all the rushing around we’ve done this morning, Charlie drives at a regular speed; thankfully, we make it to the restaurant in one piece. As soon as he puts the car in park the two of us run to the entrance to see our friends waiting at an outdoor table on the patio. Charlie and I finally made it, albeit a tad out of breath.
“Charlie, Y/n, nice of you to finally join us.”
“11:44 on the dot. Not your latest arrival, but an honorable mention,” Savannah jeers, waving me over to sit beside her.
“What happened this time?”
“Overslept. My usual alarm didn’t go off, I must’ve forgotten to turn it on last night.”
“Classic.” I’m distracted from Owen’s teasing when Savannah’s humorous smile drops. She’s looking at me with an emotion I can’t distinguish.
“You okay?” She simply nods and then pushes her chair back.
“I need to pee and you do too. Come on, Y/n.” And without allowing me to reply, she has me up out of the chair and briskly walking toward the bathroom. It isn’t until we’re outside the single stall that I noticed she grabbed my bag from the back of my chair. Once she’s locked us both in the room, she looks at me with wide eyes and a suppressed smile.
“What’s going on?”
“What’s this?” She answers my question with a question, before using her left index finger to poke the right side of my neck.
“Ow!” My face drops once I realize. Brushing past her, I move to stand in front of the bathroom mirror, inspecting the assemblage of love bites all over my neck area. Savannah merely giggles at the realization before opening my bag.
“You don’t have a sponge, so we’re gonna have to use our fingers.” I turn around to look at her, not through the mirror and find a bottle of full-coverage concealer in her hands.
“How did that get in there?”
“I put it in there last week after you had to spend the whole day adjusting your shirt around your collar bones to hide more of these.” She gives a vague gesture to the marks on my neck and begins applying the makeup.
“You’re a lifesaver.”
“And you are unbelievable. That was literally last week, and you’re already marked up again. Don’t you and Charlie ever just make love? Does it always have to be ‘ravage one another’s body’?”
“I mean, occasionally. I don’t know, sweet and tender isn’t really our thing.”
“Clearly.” Savannah steps back to survey her work, “Okay, you’re covered but be careful because I didn’t pack setting spray.”
“I am forever indebted to you.”
“You don’t need to worry about me. It’s Owen that you should pray doesn’t notice.”
“God, you’re right.”
“If I were solely judging by his hair, I’d have guessed you guys went at it this morning and not last night.”
“Shit, he’s probably marked up, too.”
“Well, I didn’t bring him concealer, and you two are not the same shade soooo… sorry.” I shake my head dismissively as I hold the bathroom door open for her behind me.
“Better him than me.”
“How was it though? You told me you’d text me updates.”
“Yeah, and then I didn’t set an alarm. But no, it was… so good. I’m like, sore.”
“Okay, we’re entering TMI territory so let’s find something to talk about before we’re back within earshot.”
“What are your Valentine’s plans for the rest of the day?”
“I might get frozen yogurt and watch a movie, haven’t really decided. I would ask what you and Charlie are doing, but based on this morning, I think I can guess.”
Just as Savannah and I did, the two boys fall silent once we approach the table; when the four of us are settled, I take a quick glance over the menu, as if I’m unsure of what I want.
“Okay, in the spirit of St. Valentine, let’s talk love. Tell us about your first kiss, Y/n.” Savannah eyes me, already knowing the horrendous story. I deadpan,
“No.”
“Wait, I’m actually curious. I don’t think I know this story.” Charlie leans forward in his seat, placing his forearms on the table in front of him.
“See what you’ve done?” Savannah merely shrugs and takes a smug sip from her water glass. “No, I’m not doing this. Why don’t you tell us about your first kiss, Sav?”
“I asked you first.”
“Fine, be that way. Charlie, tell us about your first kiss.”
“Well, I don’t know I-”
“Come on, what’s ‘love-master’ Charlie’s origin story?” Owen teasingly pats Charlie on the back, and the four of us all fall under a shocked silence at the sound of Charlie hissing in pain. My lips part in surprise but quickly press shut in a moment’s realization.
“You okay?” Don’t do it, Owen.
“Yeah, I’m fine just-”
“Oh my god.” Upon patting Charlie’s back, the fabric of his shirt moved out of the way to reveal a conglomerate of scratches across the surface of his sun-kissed skin. Owen laughs out in disbelief before poking one of the scratches again, causing Charlie to smack his hand away.
“Holy shit, did you get mauled by a bear?” Owen then gasps in a realization that I’d pray he wouldn’t have, and he begins to laugh even harder. “That good, huh Y/n?” My face heats up a million degrees and I cover my face with one hand as a desperate defense mechanism.
“It’s not a big deal, Owen.” Thank god, Savannah’s come to the rescue. “They just got a head start on Valentine’s Day is all.”
“Okay, can we please change the subject?” I plead as I’ve already had enough of their laughter. Charlie gives me a look that is both apologetic and embarrassed and I let out an exaggerated sigh as a response.
The rest of our brunch date is still a good time minus the occasional interjectory joke about my and Charlie’s romantic all-day-affair yesterday. Our foursome disassembles, already planning the next group outing post-Valentine’s intimacy.
“That was absolutely humiliating,” I state, buckling my seatbelt in the passenger's side as Charlie begins pulling out of the parking spot.
“You want me to be gentler next time?” Charlie asks sincerely and extends his right hand over the center console to rub a comforting circle on top of my thigh over the fabric of my jeans. The gesture pulls the warmth in my heart and the butterflies in my stomach a little lower.
“...No,” I admit shyly. The confession elicits a small, cocky chuckle from Charlie. He then gives me an affirming squeeze before tracing the seam along my inner thigh in a way that is too sensual to mistake his intentions.
The entire car ride home, the feeling of Charlie’s fingertips ghosting up my leg makes my heart beat a little faster and ignites a subtle heat where I wish he’d trail his hand up to. I’m sure my desire is apparent to Charlie but he doesn’t say anything about it. When we get back to our home, I stick the key in the lock and open the front door but freeze as I feel Charlie pressing into my entire backside. He leans down to playfully bite part of my earlobe as his hands come to rest on my hips.
“You said you didn’t want me to be gentle?” All of my senses are clouded by dense arousal so all I can do is nod. He airily laughs, a warm breath dusting the surface of my skin and I shudder involuntarily. “Go inside.”
After closing the door behind us, Charlie shoves me up against it, his hand behind my head to prevent me from actually getting hurt. He kisses my lips forcefully but doesn’t linger, and instead trails down the column of my throat. The kisses are rough in between small bites of affection, surely leaving more marks that I’ll have to wake up early to cover tomorrow. Or just not go anywhere. After this, it’s looking like the latter.
“You want me to rough you up a little bit? Huh?”
“Yes.” The love bites Charlie’s leaving behind become harsher on my skin, as he trails further down my neck, across my collarbones. “Charlie, can we…?”
“Can we what? Tell me what you want.”
“Please-“
“Please what? Use your words.”
“Please, fuck me.”
“Your wish is my command.” And with that Charlie pulls me into the bedroom, stealing kisses in between steps. Charlie moves to sit me on the bed but as he grabs me by the hips, I maneuver to switch places and push him down onto the bed. He looks at me with a mix of surprise and excitement, taking the hand that pushed him between his own. I smile delicately when Charlie presses a gentle kiss to my knuckles. That is the last trace of softness.
The two of us begin stripping out of our brunch clothes as fast as we can. It’s as if we’re running out of time. We’re both almost fully naked but before I can get my panties off Charlie’s lips are back on mine. His movements are swift, kiss after kiss is filled with an unrivaled lust that is glorious.
Crawling onto the bed, Charlie stays close behind, never allowing any loss of contact between us. I recover to a sitting position and Charlie wraps his arm under my stomach and presses a line of kisses across my shoulder blades.
“Can I take you like this?” He asks earnestly, running his hands over the vast expanse of my bare skin. I choke out a desperate plea and my breathing softens once I feel the absence of Charlie’s touch on my body. When I turn around I see him searching the room like a madman.
“What are you doing?”
“I can’t find any more condoms. I think we used them all last night.”
“What? We only used three.”
“I don’t know! Maybe I dropped some?”
“Fuck it. Charlie if I’m not getting absolutely rawed in the next ten seconds I will walk out that door.” He doesn’t need any more encouragement than that and is back on the bed. Charlie grabs both sides of my face to bring me in for a long passionate kiss before taking his place behind me. His warm hands fall from my face to my waist, gripping the skin slightly.
Charlie sits back on his heels and moves my body back to hover over his. He runs a sensual path with his fingers down the sides of my body and slips one down through the growing wetness between my legs. Tracing the arousal over my quivering clit. The anticipation of the moment has heightened my sensitivity and as a result, I let out a whine. My whimpering continues when I feel him run the tip of his erection through the wetness. As I open my mouth to nag him for moving so slow, Charlie slams his entire length inside of me at once, causing me to cry out in pleasure. I can tell it feels incredible for him too by the way he’s gripping my hips. If he didn’t leave bruises yesterday, he definitely will today.
It doesn’t take long for him to figure out a tempo that’s comfortable for the both of us and my labored panting fills the room. Charlie lets out a groan followed by a laugh because we could both feel the physical reaction I had to the noise he had let out. Wrapping his right arm across my stomach, Charlie reaches the left up to grab my tits, and roughly bite another hickey on my shoulder. He uses his right arm to pull my body into his own torso, and shifting his hips he makes a few adjustments. Charlie shifts one more time and when he thrusts back into me I cry out so loud surely our neighbors will put in a noise complaint.
“There we go,” he grunts to himself, but our proximity allows me to hear. Repeatedly thrusting into that spot, my eyes flutter closed in pleasure. Charlie resumes leaving harsh, lingering kisses, and love bites down the side of my neck, moaning into them in ecstasy. As I feel my heat begin to pulse, Charlie knows I’m close and tries to grab my attention.
“Hey, hey. Look at me.” I will my eyes open and turn to look. The pleasure of his movements is so overwhelming that in between moans and shallow breaths, I find myself leaning my head back to rest on his bare shoulder. “I want you to look at me as you come undone.”
“Okay.” I swallow hard from how dry my mouth is from panting so hard for so long. Each next thrust is measured and the sound of our labored breathing and pleasured moans fill the electrified air.
“Charlie.”
“I’m close. Where do you want-”
“Just stay inside.”
“You sure?” Before I can give a coherent response my orgasm tears through me like a wildfire. I’m doing my best not to scream and what comes out is a mix between a strangled cry and a deep, guttural groan. Adding to my ecstasy, Charlie reaches down to trace tiny circles over my clit and I feel tears of overstimulation prick the length of my lower lash line. While Charlie fucks me through my high, I feel his movements stutter and the familiar twitch before he relaxes his hold on my body. The two of us collapse back onto the bed in a symphony of gasps and bliss-fueled laughter.
“Happy Valentine's Day,” he says behind a smile.
“I love you. That was the first time I’ve forgone condoms…” I state to the ceiling in a moment’s realization, “How do I get this out of me?”

A/n: I really am so sorry about the slow churn of writing. I’ve gotten busy with classes and though I knew this was coming I’m still upset that I can’t spend more time writing. On top of that being in a block has been really rough but it’ll pass with time I hope :)

holly’s august extravaganza day 1: against all odds (we're still here)
i'm always down to write gabriel! thanks for the prompt trick, i hope you like it!
ao3 | 2k | car accidents, whump, major character injury, angst with a happy ending
“I told you we should have brought the car.”
Carlos scowls over at TK, shifting one of the many bags he’s carrying higher on his arm. It cuts painfully into his skin, his good mood from earlier long since soured. The knowledge that TK is, of course, right isn’t exactly helping matters.
“In my defence,” he starts, for probably the fifth or sixth time, “when we texted your dad to see if he wanted us to pick up anything from the store, I wasn’t expecting a full list.”
“We could have told him no.”
“TK, he’s your dad and we are literally crashing his home right now. I’m not gonna tell him no.”
TK opens his mouth, presumably to retort with a comment about how his dad loves Carlos and loves having them around. Both of which are things Carlos knows perfectly well, thanks, but he’s still not interested in testing it by refusing to get Owen’s kale chips or that specific brand of shampoo which took half an hour—and two stores—to track down.
Whatever TK was about to say is abandoned when one of his own bags slips out of his grasp and falls to the ground with a depressing thud. It bursts open—because why wouldn’t it—and spills their purchases across the sidewalk. The only solace is that nothing breaks, but that’s where the good news begins and ends; Carlos’s eyes track a can as it rolls down the street and into the gutter, landing in a puddle of dirty water. TK looks forlornly between the dropped bag and those still balanced on his arms, then heaves a long-suffering sigh and crouches awkwardly, easing the other bags down as carefully as he can manage.
“Call an Uber,” he grumbles. “We are not walking home like this.”
On that point, they’re in agreement. Carlos spares himself a moment of idle amusement at TK’s predicament before beginning the arduous task of extracting his phone from his pocket without dropping any of his own shopping.
He’ll hate himself for it later, but he’s so focused that the screech of tires coming around the corner barely registers as a blip on his radar. He doesn’t notice anything until TK suddenly barrels into him, throwing Carlos to the side just before something else, something heavy, crashes into them with a blinding flash of pain, and then—
Nothing.
*
Oh my god!
Someone call 911!
Are they even alive?
Just hold on, son, you’re going to be just fine.
*
Beeping.
Carlos frowns, slowly blinking his heavy eyelids open. It takes a minute to register his surroundings for what they are—a hospital room—and a further minute to notice the presence at his side. It’s his father, looking exhausted, turning his cowboy hat in his hands as he stares at the floor.
“Dad?” he croaks, wincing at the soreness in his throat. “What happened?”
His father’s head jerks up, his eyes going wide as he sees Carlos awake. “Mijo. It’s good to see you awake.”
“Dad, why am I here? What happened?”
He sighs, reaching out to pat Carlos’s arm. “There was an accident,” he explains. “A drunk driver lost control of his car and mounted the curb right where you boys were standing. He was speeding, so he hit you pretty hard. Your foot was crushed under a wheel, you have a fractured wrist, and you bumped your head when you fell so you probably have a concussion. The doctors say you should heal just fine, though, gracias a Dios.”
Carlos lifts his head to look down at his body, only just registering the casts on his arm and foot. There’s a dull ache radiating through his entire body and his head is pounding in time with his heartbeat, but he’s alive and he’ll heal. He should be happy about that, but the only thing occupying his mind is his dad’s silence on TK.
“What about TK?” he asks, part of him dreading the answer. “I remember him pushing me; is he okay?”
“He’s…” His dad hesitates, sending a cold slither of fear down Carlos’s spine. “Alive.”
Carlos stares, the beginnings of panic stealing his breath. “What does that mean?”
His father blows out a long breath. “It means you were right,” he says, meeting Carlos’s eyes. “He did push you, so he took the brunt of the hit. He suffered a serious open pelvic fracture and broken ribs, which punctured his lung. Last I heard, they managed to fix him up and they’re not expecting any further complications, but we won’t know for sure until he wakes up.”
“He hasn’t woken up?”
“Not yet. He will, you’ll see.”
“I want to see him.”
And Carlos knows what the answer will be to that—a resounding no. He also knows that he won’t be able to argue; his father is incredibly stubborn, and when he digs his heels in, there’s no moving him. But he needs to at least try—he’s not going to stop worrying about TK until he sees him, and probably not for a long time after that.
His dad sighs and fixes him with a firm look. “Carlitos, you and I both know that’s out of the question,” he says. “You’ve only just woken up, you need to give yourself time to heal before exerting your body even more. Besides, he’s in good hands and Owen is with him, so we’ll know as soon as there’s any change.”
“Joder, Papá, I know all that,” Carlos cries, frustrated, barely able to refrain from throwing his head back on the pillow. “I just hate that he’s here, hurt, and I can’t even see him.”
“Lo sé,” His dad smiles gently, something that’s probably supposed to be comforting, but really only gets on Carlos’s nerves. “Escúchame, hijo. Descansa. Cúrate. Then you can focus on TK.”
It’s easier said than done and his father knows it, but Carlos has no choice. The conversation is effectively put to an end by his dad reaching over and pressing the call button next to the bed. A nurse comes in and quickly sets about checking his vitals and asking enough questions to make Carlos’s head spin. His probable concussion becomes definite, but otherwise he’s in good shape, all things considered.
He can’t help but wish he weren’t.
*
Two days later, Carlos is deemed fit to be discharged, providing he has someone to help him and providing he agrees to rest and not do anything even close to strenuous. TK is also awake now but, according to Owen, he’ll be kept in the hospital for at least another week. The break to his pelvis was bad, so he’ll need a wheelchair for a while even after discharge, and his refusal to take strong painkillers means his recovery is going to be long and painful.
Carlos is itching to see him. It’s been torture cooped up in his room without knowing how TK was doing—there’s only so much relief messages passed through their fathers can bring. It had only been his father’s stern and steady presence that had kept him in that bed when he felt like he was losing his mind with worry.
But now, finally, he’s being wheeled into TK’s room and helped onto the chair next to the bed. Owen stands off to the side, watching the two of them with a mixture of affection and sadness in his gaze, and his dad hovers behind him, but Carlos only has eyes for TK.
He looks incredibly tired, but he attempts a smile when he rolls his head to look at Carlos, extending his hand out across the distance between them.
“Hey, Ty,” Carlos says softly, taking TK’s hand in his good one. “How are you feeling?”
“Been better. Not sure if I’ve been worse. I think this might just beat getting shot to that title.”
“That’s not funny.”
TK just hums, his eyes drifting closed for a second. “Maybe not.”
“Why did you push me?”
TK’s eyes fly open at the question, confusion overtaking his expression as he stares at Carlos. He moves as if to sit upright before groaning in pain, his face screwing up. Carlos reaches out for him, but he’s beaten to it by his father, who places a reassuring hand on TK’s shoulder.
“Take it easy, son,” he says gently. “Don’t move too much.”
“I hate this,” TK mutters, his body relaxing bit by bit. His gaze is still clouded when he looks back over at Carlos, but he manages a soft smile all the same. “I pushed you because I didn’t want you to get hurt. The car would have hit me either way; I’m just sorry I wasn’t able to get you out of the way in time.”
Carlos blinks at him, dumbfounded. “You’re sorry?” he asks, disbelief colouring his tone. “Ty, you’re in the hospital, seriously injured, because you chose to save me instead of yourself. Why would you do that?”
“You know why.”
Carlos does; of course he does, but it’s not enough to assuage the guilt still bubbling in his stomach at the sight of TK in the bed.
TK sighs, squeezing his hand. “You would have done the same for me,” he points out. “We both know you would have, so don’t you dare ask me to apologise for my choices.”
“I know. I won’t.” Carlos closes his eyes, deflating a little. “I just hate seeing you hurt.”
“And I hate seeing you hurt, so maybe you can do us both a favour and go home. I’ll be fine.”
Carlos must need his hearing tested, because there’s no way TK just said that. There’s no way his boyfriend told him to leave right after calling him out for hypocrisy. Except apparently he did, because he’s trying to disentangle their hands, and Carlos is not having that.
He grips onto TK even tighter and glares at him. “TK, if you think I’m leaving you here—”
“Carlos,” TK interrupts quietly. “I get it. But, babe, you need to rest and heal, and you can’t do either of those things sitting here.”
“Watch me.”
“No.” TK shifts his gaze over Carlos’s shoulder, a slight smirk playing at his lips. “Mr Reyes, can you make sure he rests?”
His dad laughs, leaning over to pat TK’s shoulder. “Of course. I’m sure once his mother sees him, she won’t let him out of her sight for a week anyway.”
TK grins. “Good to know.” He yawns and resettles himself slightly in the bed, his eyes fluttering shut. “Carlos, if you’re still here when I next open my eyes, I’m not kissing you for a month.”
“You shouldn’t make threats you know you can’t follow through with.”
“Don’t make me make it two.”
Despite himself, Carlos laughs. He leans over and presses a lingering kiss to TK’s temple, then stands as well as he’s able, leaning on his dad for support. “Alright, I’m going. I’ll see you soon. Love you.”
TK already sounds half-asleep when he mumbles, “Love you too,” back, and Carlos can’t even be embarrassed by how ridiculously smitten he must look, even though he’s in front of both their fathers.
He allows his dad to move him back to the wheelchair and says a quick goodbye to Owen, keeping his eyes on TK for as long as he can. Just as they reach the door, he catches TK’s eyes opening to slivers, obviously checking to see if Carlos is actually leaving. Carlos shakes his head at him, causing TK to flush at the knowledge he’s been caught. His eyes slam shut again, his tongue poking out childishly, and Carlos laughs, a lightness settling in his heart even as TK’s room disappears from view.
It’s going to be a long few months for the both of them, but they have family behind them to help them get through it.
And they have each other. Which, given everything, Carlos thinks is nothing short of a goddamn miracle.

You’re such a bitch - (Charlie Gillespie x reader)
Word Count: 2486 Request: no, again @jatpsmut inspired me with his fic “What Happens in Hawaii Stays in Hawaii - Charlie Gillespie x Reader (SMUT - 18+)”. I asked her if I could use the Hawaii idea and now I am writing this!
However, some details change from the original fic:
“Charlie and y/n haven't been best friends since they were kids, but from the first season of jatp. y/n is an additional actor on Julie and the Phantoms, also a dancer. Charlie didn't confess his feelings to y/n in Hawaii.
The only thing I got from the idea of @jatpsmut is the fact that something happened in Hawaii. So thank you to her for writing this incredible fic, without it this could not happen Summary: You and Charlie were best friends and roommates in LA. One evening, you heard it with a girl, the next morning, everything is awkward, bitchy and everything changes. Warnings: mention of sexual activities - language disclaimer: I don't know Charlie or his family personally or what his life is like. All you will read in this "x reader" is from my imagination. My point is not to invade Charlie's privacy. I don't want to offend him or offend anybody else in his life (family, potential girlfriend…). All of this is not the reality

You try to focus on the TV show you were watching, but obviously your roommate had company. And that company was way too loud in your opinion. You were rolling your eyes in annoyance when suddenly your phone vibrates, displaying the blonde head of your second best friend. If there was one thing you miss since you came back to live to Los Angeles, it was obviously living with this sarcastic character. Vancouver seemed so far away to you. You picked up your phone and Owen's face appeared.
“Hi sweetie.” Owen told you with a smile “Oh, hey… Why that face?” he clearly noticed your annoyance. "Hi O." you said before complaining "Ugh, I miss living with you in Vancouver so much" "Yeah me too. We had so much fun. But hey, I'm sure we'll have a season two." "I hope so much"
You were an extra cast member on Julie and the Phantoms, you also were a dancer on the first season, just as Tori. You wished so much Owen was right about Jatp season 2 renew but Netflix seemed to enjoy making you patient. But the coronavirus had also literally messed up all your plans. However, you were angry, some series came out long after yours and got renewed while yours stayed on hold. It was clear that fans of the series as much as you were just waiting for the renewal of season two.
A moan came out of Charlie's bedroom with the sound of a bouncing mattress, you rolled your eyes again, groaning with a sort of anger.
"Jesus Christ ..." you complained "Wait, y/n, what's that sound?" “You know what I miss most about living with you in Vancouver O’? Rule #3. " “Rule #3? Rule #3" he seemed to think about what you said when he finally realized "Oh ... Oh! Rule #3! Wait.. Oh my God! Is Charlie being with a chick right now? ” He asked you with stupefaction. "Oh I wish you were wrong"
A laugh came out from you best friend mouth and you gave him a killer look through the screen, making him laugh harder. When you were in Vancouver, living with two boys forced you to set limits and rules for living. The first was; everyone cleans up their own mess. Second, the housework takes turns. Third rule: no one-night stand allowed in the flat. Surprisingly as it may seem, this rule had been followed very well by everyone. But at the same time, the boys' schedules really didn't make time to bring anyone home, and then after all, they were professional. But as soon as Charlie returned from his parents' quarantine, he forgot the existence of this rule, as if it did not apply to Los Angeles. It wasn't like he brought a different girl home every night, or even every month. It might have been the second or third time since you had moved in. But this situation embarrassed you more than you might have thought.
“Owen, don't make fun of me. I've been hearing them for about an hour now. " "Poor you. Now you understand how I felt in Hawaii" he smirked at you. "Wait, what did you say?" you asked him, in shocked. "Oh please y/n ... you heard me clearly"
Of course, you had heard what he said, but you were in shock at the revelation, so you needed confirmation. This story was supposed to be a secret between you and Charlie. The fact that Owen mentioned it could only assume two things.
"Did you hear us in Hawaii?" “I was in the room next door! Of course, I heard you. It's not like you and Charlie are the quietest couple ever having sex ... " "It seems Charlie is the loudest one…" you said, referring to your best friend having sex in the next bedroom. "Oh darling please, I can remind you of what you said that night. You two gave me nightmares." "Please don't. I feel so embarrassed right now"
Last year you went to Hawaii with several cast members and Kenny. A booking error forced you to share a bed with Charlie. It seemed that sleeping with a girl seemed more adequate than two boys sleeping in the same bed. Charlie and Owen had avoided that possibility the second the problem had arisen. One thing leading to another, after a few strong cocktails, you and the dark-haired boy had ended up having a horny night. The shame caused the next day made you both never talk about it again and "what happened in Hawaii will stay in Hawaii". You didn’t know that Owen heard you and it seems that boy can keep a secret for so long now.
The problem was that that night you realized that you felt more than an attraction to your roommate. It went beyond friendship or mere sexual tension at the sight of this Canadian. You wanted every aspect of what you might have experienced with Charlie and more: the laughs, the funny times, the lots of talking, the quiet times watching a movie or just playing Nintendo Switch, the sex. But you also wanted the PDAs, the feelings, just being with him like his girlfriend. But the actor was totally oblivious to your feelings for him, and you didn't even want to try to make him understand it on his own. You just created a shell for yourself and buried your feelings deep within yourself.
“I don’t understand y/n. Why didn’t you tell him your feeling?” “Because I know he doesn’t love me back, O.” “Oh come on! You two are the most stubborn people I ever met!”
Again, for the third time tonight, you've rolled your eyes. You were pretty sure Charlie didn't feel the same way you did. Since Hawaii, neither of you had stepped forward towards each other, but sometimes your behaviors showed that you were more than friends. Another moan was heard from Charlie’s room and Owen's face on the screen was memorable. His eyes were wide and his cheeks were red.
"Okay, y/n. I'm sorry but I don't want to keep talking to you and hear my other best friend hooking up at the same time ..."
You laughed and he hung up the phone not forgetting to say goodbye. You tried to focus on your screen again, your headphones being way too far away for you to catch them. Minutes later you finally heard the distinctive sound of Charlie's orgasm and knew you were finally going to be able to sleep.
…
The next morning you woke up with a high level of fatigue. You casually walk to the kitchen to make coffee. While you were pouring yourself a cup of this much-desired black liquid, a person entered the kitchen.
"Who the fuck are you?"
You raised an eyebrow, bringing your mug to your lips. The girl looked at you with a disgusted face.
"Roommate, darling. Not nice to meet you." "Why the hell are you wearing his shirt?"
A smirk appears on your lips, far too happy that she asked the question. When you were in Vancouver, it wasn't surprising to see you wearing the boys' t-shirts, although you had a preference for Charlie's, there were times when you wore Owen's. The boys never complained about this mania and you had to continue when you moved to Los Angeles with Charlie. The scene was pretty funny, you were there drinking your coffee in a t-shirt borrowed from your roommate while his conquest from last night stared at you in disgust, decked out in another Charlie t-shirt. You took a look at the Looney Tunes t-shirt you were wearing and just shrug your shoulders.
“Old habits.” You simply said. "Yeah, you're gonna have to break this habit."
You laughed disdainfully. You didn't like this girl. Not because it was the conquest of your best friend for whom you had blatant romantic feelings. But rather because she had this condescension and believed that spending a night with Charlie gave her every right.
"What makes you think that, sweetie?"
You leaned against the kitchen counter, your posture offhand, a smirk on your lips. You weren't used to being such a bitch, but the girl in front of you pissed you off. And it was only nine in the morning.
"Well, hello, I spent the night with Charlie." "Oh yeah sure, but that doesn't mean you're dating him." "Charlie is a great guy"
She wasn't wrong. Charlie wasn't heartbroken but he was still human and a twenty-two-year-old boy. Just looking at her you knew your best friend hadn't chosen her for a serious relationship with her. The little conversation you were having with her now confirmed that he couldn't date her. Another smirk spread across your lips as she looked at you with disdain again.
"Who the fuck do you think you are? You are nowhere near his level" she said to you
This time, you couldn't help but laugh sarcastically. Yeah, she really pissed you off. Physically, she was everything Charlie didn't like about a potential girlfriend: big breasts, much bigger than him, slightly shallow. Oh but she had a fucking ass and maybe that was why he had chosen her. Her whole body reflected Charlie's choice for a one-night stand, but not the ideal girlfriend.
"Oh honey, I'm nobody, but neither are you. Listen. You were just a one-night stand and me? Me, I'll still be here in his apartment with his t-shirts on when he brings you home, telling you that it was cool but that it will not go further. I will always be there ... "
Charlie woke up and headed straight for the kitchen. He greeted her conquest with a nod, giving her a hello. Instinctively, he approached you and put his hand on your waist before placing a soft kiss on your cheek. Charlie was tactile, it was his language of love. You couldn't help but smirk at the girl, giving her a victorious look. The actor looked at your outfit and a smile appeared on his lips.
"So that's where it was! I thought I lost it in the Galapagos." he was referring to his looney tunes t-shirt
Your attention fell on Charlie and you smiled happily at him. You cheekily handed your cup of coffee.
"Coffee?" "Hell, yeah"
He grabbed your cup and took a long sip, leaving his conquest almost nonexistent to his eyes. The girl was so pissed off that she seemed to be boiling. She cleared her throat, annoyed.
"Hmm, I'm going to go" she said. "Oh wait, let me have lunch and I'll bring you back if you want." "It won't be necessary."
You bit the tip of your tongue, amused, far too happy to hide it. Charlie's conquest returned to his room to get dressed. Your roommate turned to you and gave you a questioning look.
"y/n, what did you do?" "Nothing. We were happily getting know each other. I'm surprised at your choice, by the way" "Are you getting revenge?" "Get revenge for what?" "Since ... Hawaii, you've scared all the girls I've brought back." "Did I scare them? Stop, I haven't acted any differently than usual." “You scared them away,” he repeated. "Oh come on, Charlie, please, it's not like you're going to date them."
He pulled away from you with a look of dismay. You were not wrong, he had never called back the girls he had brought back here, he did not intend to call back the one who was currently in his room. In fact, the only person he really wanted to spend time with was you. But since Hawaii, you seemed to be okay with never mentioning your night together again. This Canadian boy has been in love with you for months, maybe even years now. It quickly fell for you when you were in Vancouver.
"You're right. But I could have ..." he finally confessed "It's wrong. You know it's wrong Charlie, I know you, I'm your best friend. These are not the kind of girls you date. "Yeah… I couldn't date any of them. They just aren't you." He said, his last sentence ending in a whisper before hastening to take a sip from your cup of coffee.
You were paralyzed. Did he really just say what you've been dreaming of hearing for months? Did he just drop it like a bomb, in the middle of a morning conversation between sips of coffee?
“Wait, what?” “Nothing” “It wasn’t nothing, Charlie, you said something” “Nothing important” he repeats “Did you just say that if you didn’t date those girls it’s because they weren’t me?” “You seems to hear voices” “Charlie, I’m not joking… Did you say that?!” “Maybe” “Oh fuck, you’re an idiot!” “I am a..”
You snatched the cup of coffee from her hands and hurriedly put it on the counter. Never mind about the stains on the floor, you will clean up later. You didn't want to miss a second of this possibility. You wrapped your arms around Charlie's neck before resting your lips on his. Your best friend seemed surprised at first so much but quickly relaxed and wrapped his own arms around your waist as your lips moved to give the kiss more tender. The situation was most strange and funny; you were kissing your best friend, running your fingers through his long brown hair. You had to admit that even though you had found him attractive with his Luke's look but you couldn't imagine Charlie without that impressive mass of hair. Luke had short hair, Charlie had long hair. End of the discussion.
So, you were kissing your roommate, making up for lost time while in his room, a girl he had fucked the night before gathered her things. Charlie's conquest stepped out to head for the exit. You broke the kiss making Charlie growl in protest.
"I'm not showing you where the door is." you said. "whore .." the chick whispered.
Charlie stepped away from you and brought his one-night stand to the door, apologizing. He wasn't that kind of boy to go from girl to girl and the circumstances were really strange. The girl left, not without forgetting to curse him. When Charlie walks into the kitchen, you were sitting on the counter, a smirk on your face.
"You're such a bitch y/n" “It's my revenge for keeping me awake last night.”
His gaze was sly, his smile was mischievous and you knew he was going to find a phrase worthy of the fucking boy he could be.
"I can keep you awake for a while if you want." “A date wouldn't be too complicated, Charlie. Please be a gentleman. "You can count on me"
He gave you a softer look and you wrapped your arms around his neck again before kissing him. Ultimately, not everything that happened in Hawaii has to be restricted to Hawaii.

I Want Your Midnights - Owen Joyner x Female Reader (SMUT - 18+)
Request: NONE

Every single year your family celebrated New Years Eve exactly the same way.
Your neighbours across the road would set up a table and chairs on their driveway, and your family and your next door neighbours would head across the road for a barbeque and drinks under the stars, with the Christmas lights that covered the three houses shining in the darkness.
And then after food the kids would always head inside to play a board game or battle it out on Just Dance, only stopping at midnight to watch the New Years fireworks go off and to run around with sparklers.
That’s how New Years had been for as long as you could remember. Only this year, things were going to be slightly different.
You were bringing Owen, your boyfriend of just over a year. You had celebrated New Years apart the year before, opting for a text to wish each other happy new year instead.
But you’d been dating for over a year now, and you couldn’t wait for Owen to meet your friends and family, and have the chance to ring in the new year together.
Owen pulled his truck into your parent’s driveway, parking before turning to you, his eyes full of anxiety.
“You’ll be fine, they’re all gonna love you.” You assured him, grabbing onto his hand. He bit his lip.
“There’s just so many people to remember.” He sighed slightly. “Give me a recap?”
You nodded.
“So you know my family’s names, right? Mum is Alice, Dad James, brothers Tom, Will and Lucas.” You said, and he nodded, so you continued.
“Rose and Max own the house we’re going to, and their daughter is Sophie. Then our other neighbours, the ones next door, are Graham and Pam, and their daughters Violet and Bella. You’ve met Violet, she’s my best friend, remember?” Owen nodded again.
“I think I’ll survive your family, it’s just everyone else I’m worried about.” He told you. You rubbed your thumb over the back of his hand.
“It will be okay. I’ll make sure to introduce everyone when we get over there, okay?” You said, leaning across the car to press a soft kiss to his lips. “Now we should probably get inside and see if Mum needs help with anything.”
You climbed out of his truck, walking around to his side of the car and waiting for him to hop out, grabbing onto his hand when he did. He locked his truck and with a last reassuring squeeze you were leading him around to the front of your house.
“Do we knock?” He questioned as you reached the door. You giggled and shook your head.
“Knock knock!” You called out, opening the front door.
“It’s open.” Your mum’s voice called back from the kitchen. You led Owen down the hallway and into the kitchen, smiling widely when you saw your mum and dad stood behind the bench.
“Look what the cat dragged in.” Your mum joked, and you dropped Owen’s hand to give her a quick hug, then your dad next. When you stepped back he grabbed onto you again.
“Mum, Dad, this is my boyfriend Owen. Owen, this is my mum Alice, and my dad James.” You introduced.
“It’s very nice to meet you sir and ma’am.” Owen smiled, and you squeezed his hand to reassure him.
“Oh please, call us Alice and James dear. It’s so nice to meet you, I’ve heard so much about you I feel like I already know you.” Your mother laughed. “This one never shuts up about you.”
You pouted.
“Don’t expose me.” You said. Owen grinned.
“It’s okay baby. if you asked my mum she’d say exactly the same thing.” He told you and you smiled up at him, before turning your attention back to your parents.
“Is there anything you need taken across the road?” You asked and your dad nodded.
“We were just about to take the chairs over, do you want to tell the boys and we’ll all head over now?” He suggested and you nodded, dragging Owen behind you as you went to find your three brothers.
After introducing Owen to your brothers and collecting the chairs from your garage, the seven of you headed across the road to where your neighbours had already set up the table and barbeque.
“Hello everyone!” Rose greeted from her spot next to the table with Sophie, as you made your way up the driveway.
“Ooh we’ve got a ring in.” Max joked, coming over from his spot behind the barbeque.
“This is my boyfriend Owen.” You introduced. “O, this is Rose and Max, and that’s Sophie.” You pointed to each one as you said their names.
Owen waved shyly and Rose smiled.
“Don’t be nervous, we’re all very nice.” She said and Owen smiled back. You placed your chairs down at the table, before turning to find your other neighbours heading up the driveway.
Violet was the first to reach you, throwing her arms around you.
“Hey friend!” She exclaimed as you hugged her back with one arm, your other hand linked tightly with Owen’s. She pulled away, grinning happily at your boyfriend.
“Hey Owen it’s good to see you again.” She said, pulling him into a hug too. You giggled at the slightly shocked expression that covered his face for a few seconds before he hugged her back.
“Nice seeing you too Violet.” He replied. She turned to her family.
“This is Y/N’s boyfriend Owen. Owen this is my mum Pam, my dad Graham and my sister Bella.” She said. Owen smiled at them.
“Howdy.” Graham greeted, while Pam and Bella just waved.
“Now.” Your mum spoke up. “Should we get this party started?”
Everyone settled in quickly, loud chatter filling the air as the sun went down. The three fathers headed over to the barbeque, Owen joining them tentatively, and you watched from your chair as your father handed him a beer and made sure to include him in the joking. You smiled, watching your boyfriend visibly relax which could have been because of the alcohol, but also could have been because of the fact that he could finally let go of the fear of being rejected by your friends and family.
“So Y/N, how did you meet?” Rose questioned, drawing your attention back to the women who were sat around the table.
“We met through a mutual friend, he was having a little halloween party and invited me and introduced me to Owen and we hit it off and started dating a few weeks later.” You explained.
“When was that?” Pam asked.
“Last year. We’ve been dating for a year and a month or so.” You told her. They all nodded.
“He seems like a good one.” Your mother said and you smiled, looking over to where Owen was stood, laughing at a joke Max had made.
“He is.” You agreed. “He’s a very good one.”
The dinner part of the night went well, everyone loudly joking around. Owen had fitted in well, confidently adding to stories and asking questions, and you couldn’t help but smile at how perfect the situation was.
After dinner, as per tradition, the kids of the three families headed inside, leaving the adults to sit and chat. You dragged Owen inside, sitting together on the couch as the younger kids decided what to play.
“Why don’t we go back outside and play hide and seek?” Bella suggested and when everyone agreed you all headed back outside and down the driveway onto the road.
“Oldest counts first.” Sophie said, and Violet groaned loudly before covering her eyes and beginning to count. You grabbed Owen’s hand, pulling him with you.
“I have the perfect hiding spot.” You told him, dragging him up into your front yard and into a small space between your house and a large bushy tree that concealed the two of you perfectly.
“You’re not scared of spiders, are you?” You questioned, and Owen’s eyes widened.
“I’m scared of all bugs, you know this.” He exclaimed in a hushed voice. You pulled an apologetic face, before an idea popped into your head.
“I know something that will keep your mind off it.” You said, before pulling his face down to kiss him passionately, slipping your tongue into his mouth. He groaned, pulling your body against his as he kissed you back, the two of you lost in your own little world.
“Ew oh my god, get a room!” Violet’s voice came and you and Owen jumped apart quickly.
“Shut up.” You replied and Violet laughed.
“Whatever. Found you, go join the other losers in the street.”
Midnight finally came around after hours of running around, playing Lego Rock Band on Xbox, and playing the family friendly version of Cards Against Humanity.
Everyone regathered in the living room, watching as the timer on the tv counted down, and you all joined in noisily.
“5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Happy New Year!” You all cheered, and you grinned as Owen pulled you in to a soft kiss.
“Happy New Year O.” You mumbled against his lips. He smiled as he pulled away.
“Happy New Year.” He replied.
After exchanging well wishes with everyone you decided to head home, accepting your mother’s offer of staying the night in your childhood room.
You watched as Owen pulled his clothes off, leaving him in just his boxer briefs.
“Happy new year indeed.” You joked, your eyes raking his body. He blushed, stepping closer to you.
“Your turn.” He whispered, pulling on your dress and helping you take it off, leaving the two of you stood in just your underwear.
“Does your door lock?” Owen questioned softly, reaching out to run a hand down your side. You swallowed as you shook your head. He made a sound in disappointment.
“Guess we’ll just have to be careful then.” He said, closing the gap between you and lifting you up to kiss you. Your legs wrapped around his waist as he spun around, placing you down onto your bed and climbing on top of you, reconnecting your lips.
You ran your hands through his long hair, scratching slightly on his scalp, causing him to moan into your mouth. He grinded his hips down into yours, causing you both to gasp at the contact, your kiss getting steamier by the second.
Owen broke the kiss, panting slightly.
“We don’t have a condom.” He muttered.
“That’s okay.” You kissed him softly. “We can improvise.”
He raised an eyebrow.
“Oh yeah?” He questioned. You nodded, pushing him off you and forcing him to lay back on your bed. You palmed his dick through his underwear and he groaned.
“Fuck Y/N.” He muttered. You shushed him.
“Don’t want to be caught, do we?” You said, before pulling at his underwear, letting his dick spring free.
Owen moaned as you lent down, licking a single line up his dick, swirling your tongue around the tip.
“Make sure you’re quiet for me baby.” You instructed, before taking his dick in your mouth, putting as much in as you could without choking and wrapping your hand around the remaining part. Owen’s hands tangled in your hair as you bobbed your head, licking and sucking on his dick and occasionally scraping your teeth gently along it to hear his shaky gasp.
“I’m close baby.” Owen warned eventually and you tapped on his thigh to let him know it was okay for him to cum, a signal you had been using since the first time you messed around with each other. You continued to bob your head, humming against his dick which was all he needed to tumble over the edge, his hot cum filling your mouth as he moaned into your pillow to stay quiet. After working him through his orgasm you pulled off his dick with a satisfying pop, before swallowing his cum and leaning down to kiss him.
“Your turn.” He instructed once you broke apart from the kiss, flipping you over so that you were laying on the bed. He quickly undid your bra, throwing it to the floor before kissing his way down your chest, pulling one of your nipples into his mouth. You bit your lip to hold back a moan as his tongue flicked at your sensitive nipple. He pulled away, before repeating the same actions with your other nipple, and once he was satisfied he began kissing his way down your abdomen, stopping only to pull your panties off.
He spread your legs before making himself comfortable between them. He lent down, sucking a hickie into both of your inner thighs.
“Owen.” You moaned quietly and he grinned up at you.
“That’s it baby, you ready?” He asked and you nodded.
“Please.” You said, your tone verging on begging.
He grinned again, before burying his face in your pussy, his tongue flicking at your clit as you bit into your pillow to stay quiet.
“Delicious.” He commented cheekily, before slipping his tongue inside you, his hand coming up to massage your clit as he tongue fucked you.
“If you keep doing that I won’t last.” You warned and he ignored you, his tongue flicking faster.
“Owen.” You groaned, as he moved his mouth back to your clit, sucking it into his mouth. “I’m gonna...”
You were cut off by your orgasm shaking your body, moaning quietly into the pillow.
Owen looked up at you, giving you a cheeky look before continuing his assault on your now extremely sensitive clit.
“Owen what are you doing?” You questioned shakily. He laughed, the vibrations sending shockwaves through your body.
“Helping you start the new year right.” He explained before returning his attention to your pussy, his tongue flicking at your clit once more.
It didn’t take long for the familiar feeling of your orgasm to reappear, and you warned Owen quickly, gasping when he sucked your clit back into his mouth as a response.
Your orgasm hit quickly, and to both of your shock you squirted all over Owen’s face. He pulled away, staring at you in shock.
“Holy fuck.” He said after a moment. Too exhausted to reply you just nodded.
“Fuck.” Was all you could get out. Owen grinned.
“I didn’t know I could make her squirt.” He muttered, mostly to himself, as he grabbed one of the towels your mother had left out for the two of you to use in the morning, wiping his face and chest with it, before heading back to you.
“You okay baby?” He questioned, wiping your thighs that were covered in liquid from when you squirted.
“Yeah just exhausted.” You said, letting Owen clean you up.
Once he was done he grabbed your underwear from the floor and helped you pull it back on before offering you his shirt he had been wearing, which you accepted sleepily. He pulled his boxer briefs on before pulling back the covers of your bed and helping you in, climbing in next to you.
You yawned, snuggling into his chest as he wrapped his arms around you.
“Happy new year O, I love you.” You whispered.
“Happy new year, I love you too.” He replied, placing a soft kiss on your lips.
You snuggled closer and not long after that you found yourself falling asleep, ready for another new year with your amazing boyfriend.

"Close Friends"
MASTERLIST
Owen Joyner x Reader
Warnings: None
Word Count: 1.5k+
Summary: (Y/N) works as a choreographer on Julie and the Phantoms. Throughout the filming process, (Y/N) and Owen spark dating rumours, but assure everyone that they are only close friends.
*****
For the past few months, I had worked on the set of Julie and the Phantoms. I helped out with the choreography and - like Tori - I played one of the girls in Dirty Candy. The cast had become like a family to me, I grew to become extremely close with all of them - however I became close with one person in particular.
Owen and I clicked as soon as we met and it didn’t take us long to start dating. We didn’t tell our friends immediately, we mainly wanted time to ourselves. Both of us weren’t into PDA so it was quite easy to keep our relationship under wraps. However there were a couple of times where we were nearly caught.
The first time was when I was staying at Charlie and Owen’s apartment. Charlie had scenes to film so Owen and I had the apartment to ourselves. We were laying on his bed while we watched a movie. My head rested on his chest and my arms were wrapped around his waist while his arm was around my shoulder and the other held onto my arm, his thumb gently drawing patterns on my skin. To anyone walking in, it was obvious to see that the two of us were in a relationship.
“When did you say Charlie would be back?” I ask, my voice sleepy. We had gotten through one film and we were only half an hour into our second.
“He should be back later on, we have plenty of time.” Owen mumbled against my forehead before pressing a kiss to it. I closed my eyes and savoured the feeling of his lips on my skin.
Owen’s judgement was wrong when we both heard the door of the apartment opening and Charlie’s voice echoing through the apartment.
I crane my head up to look at Owen, “Plenty of time, huh?”
We both heard Charlie’s footsteps coming down the hall. Owen and I scrambled apart from each other just as Charlie opened the door to Owen’s room. Charlie looked around before his eyes landed on me and Owen sat on the bed. We sat apart from each other, but it looked obvious that something had happened.
“(Y/N)? Why are you here?” Charlie asked.
“Oh, um,” I cleared my throat before continuing to speak, “Owen and I decided to watch a couple of movies, we both had the afternoon off and everyone else was filming or doing something else.”
Charlie looks at Owen who refuses to meet his eye, “Okay… well next time, wait until I stop filming so I can join you.”
I chuckle nervously, “Yeah, obviously,” I look at Owen before getting up from his bed, “Well, I should get going now, I have to be in early tomorrow so I should get some sleep.”
“I’ll walk you to your car.” Owen said before jumping up as well.
The two of us walked out of the apartment and didn’t start talking until we were sure we were out of earshot.
“That was close,” I say with a small smile on my face, “You could barely look him in the face.”
“Because if I did, I would probably tell him,” Owen said, “I’m awful at keeping secrets.”
“Well you’ve done well to keep this one,” I say before leaning up to kiss his cheek, “You realise that you didn’t have to walk me to my car you know.”
“Yeah, but this means I can spend more time with you.” Owen answered.
I smiled up at him then proceeded to wrap my arms around his neck, bringing him down for a kiss. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. I broke away from the kiss after a few seconds.
“As much as I was enjoying that, I gotta get home.” I mumble against his lips.
“I know,” He said before pecking my lips, “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“I’ll see you tomorrow.” I pull him into a quick hug before walking away from him and towards my car.
The second time we were nearly caught was when we were both filming. It had been a long day and I was extremely tired. The one place where everyone went to have a nap on the set was Julie’s bedroom. It wasn’t being used until the next day, so I was perfectly fine to have a nap in there. The lights were dim and the bed was extremely comfortable. However, when I got there, there was already someone in the bed. I was about to leave, not wanting to interrupt someone from their nap - until I noticed a mop of blonde hair spread out across the pillows.
I smirked before running and tackling the person on the bed. Owen groaned and was about to complain, until he noticed that it was me who tackled him.
“Hey.” He said, his voice sounded tired.
“Hey,” I reply, getting under the covers with him, “Whatcha doing?”
“I was trying to have a nap until someone interrupted me.” He said, shuffling in the bed so he was closer to me.
“Well, since I’m here now, I’ll join you. That’s what I came here for anyways.” I say before turning around so my back was facing him.
Owen wrapped an arm around my waist before pulling me back towards his chest. He placed a kiss on the back of my neck. I smiled before closing my eyes and began to drift off to sleep. It wasn’t long before I felt Owen move abruptly from behind me to sit upright in the bed and grab his phone.
“What are you doing?” I mumble.
It wasn’t until I heard someone else in the room shuffle around.
“I see the bed is occupied.” Savannah said.
I move my head to look up at her to see a smirk on her face. I could tell that she caught Owen and I sleeping on the bed together.
“Just close friends, huh?” Savannah raised an eyebrow, the teasing tone in her voice never faltering.
“Yeah, we are just friends,” Owen answered, “There’s only one bed and we both wanted to get some sleep.”
“So is that why I found you two cuddled up on the bed together?”
“I was only reaching over to get my phone.” Owen said, holding up his phone to prove a point.
Savannah still smirked, “Sure. Anyway, Owen, you’re needed on set.” She looked in between Owen and I with a smile on her face before leaving.
“That was another close one.” Owen said.
“Yeah, but I doubt we convinced her.” I mumble, wanting to go back to sleep.
“Whatever, it’s Savannah, she won’t tell if we ask her not to.”
I mumble something incoherent before snuggling up into the covers.
“I’ll see you later.” Owen said, before leaning down and placing a kiss to my forehead.
The third and final time we were nearly caught - we actually were caught. It was the day of filming The Other Side of Hollywood - specifically the choreography. By the end of the day, my feet hurt and all I wanted to do was go home and rest. I was sitting in a chair dressed in my outfit I wore in the number. I had swapped out my heels for a pair of slippers and rested them on another chair which wasn’t being used.
Owen and I were planning to go out for dinner tonight but I think we have to change out plans. I’m used to dancing in heels but not for a prolonged amount of time. All I wanted to do was put on a crappy film and relax - maybe with a pizza or any other form of junk food.
“You okay?” Owen asked, walking up to me and sitting in the chair directly next to mine.
“Yeah, yeah, just really tired and my feet are killing me.” I replied.
“I take it our plans for dinner are off then?” Owen asks.
“No, no, we can still go if you want.” I say, even if I didn’t want to go, I still would if Owen wanted to.
“(Y/N), you look tired and you’re literally wearing slippers. We’ll just go to your apartment and order pizza.” Owen said.
“Are you sure? If you want to go, we can.”
“It doesn’t matter where we eat dinner or what we have, as long as I spend it with you, I’ll be happy.” Owen said.
A wide smile stretches across my face, “I love you.”
Owen looks taken back for a moment. Neither of us had said those three words to each other yet. A wide smile stretches across his face soon after.
“I love you too.”
Both of us seemed to forget where we were for a moment as Owen cupped my cheek and pressed his lips against mine. I placed my hands on his chest and smiled into the kiss.
“When did that happen?” Charlie shouted out from across the room.
Owen and I broke apart at the sound of it. We both realised that we were on set and that there were a lot of people around. I let out a small laugh and rested my forehead on Owen’s shoulder, slightly embarrassed from the attention Charlie had diverted our way.
Owen let out a breathy laugh as well and shook his head, “I guess we don’t have to keep it a secret any more.”
“I guess we don’t.” I say and lift my head from his shoulder.
“Close friends, my ass.” Charlie shouted out across the room once again.

Heartbreak Girl
This is my first ever imagine, I am used to writing fan fictions so I apologize if it’s long or drags on. I have to get used to getting everything into one imagine! Also yes, this is inspired by the 5sos song heartbreak girl! Thanks for reading & I hope you enjoy, I am also happy to take requests! xoxo
Warnings: There are a few cuss words but other than that there’s nothing! _____________________________________________________________
“Thanks for being a friend, O.”
You said as you end the phone call with your best friend, Owen. As usual, here you are, tear stained cheeks, calling your best friend like a broken record. Yet again, Jason stomped all over your heart and left it broken for what feels like the hundredth time in a row.
You had met Jason at the coffee shop you work at; he had come into the shop every day for almost two weeks. Each day he would order the same drink and do homework; at times, you would catch him staring at you; every time you made eye contact, he would give you the most heartwarming smile. On the last day in, he asked for your number, and the rest was history.
You were busy splashing cold water on your face trying to get the swelling to go down. I mean, you had been crying for the last 5 hours. A swift knock on your front door startled you. Once you make it to the door, you stand on your tippy-toes to look through your peephole; you’re met with messy blonde hair that could only belong to one boy who would never hurt your heart like this.
“O, I didn’t know you were coming over. You didn’t tell me that you were going to or were even thinking of.” You say as your best friend wraps his arms around your waist.
“I know Y/N, but you know I’m a sucker for you. I couldn’t have my best friend home alone, crying over some asshole. I wish you would forget the day you met him Y/N.” Owen said while taking you by the hand and dragging you into your living room. Owen quickly shoves you onto the couch, with a roll of your eyes, and begins to pull things out of the backpack you hadn’t seem to notice on his back.
“I have your favorites! She’s the Man, candy, chips, chocolate cake, oh and some more candy.”
Owen quickly throws the candy and chips at you on the couch and runs to put the movie in your DVD player. He comes back to the couch, plopping right next to you, throwing his arm around you. Without a second thought, you snuggled into your best friend’s chest, not knowing that his heartbeat picked up a notch.
Owen’s POV
I can still see what’s left of tear stains on Y/N’s cheek; I just really wish she would forget Jason.
Every time I get the same call from Y/N, that he broke up with her again for someone else. That’ll she’ll never get over him, getting over her. Every time she comes running back to me like I am some cure to her heartbreak, and I am until he comes back, and she runs back into her arms, leaving me in the friend zone yet again.
Not that being in the friend zone is terrible; I would rather be her friend than nothing at all. Y/N’s been there through everything with me when we were little, when I went through my first heartbreak, when I got my gig on Knight Squad, then when Knight Squad got canceled, and I cried for more days than I would like to admit. She’s the one that pushed me to audition for Julie and The Phantoms, convinced me not to give up, and that I was good enough. She’s done all this for me, and I still can’t seem to convince her that herself. That she is good enough.
Her smile lights up any room she’s in, her eyes will tell you every single emotion she’s feeling even when she doesn’t want to tell you herself, her laugh is music to literally anyone’s ears, and nothing compares to her humor and kindness.
“Why do you think this happened again O?”
Her soft voice breaks me out of my thoughts; I didn’t even realize she had begun crying again.
“Because he’s an asshole Y/N, you’re too good for him. You always have been and always will be.” I say, trying to remain calm. The sad, broken look in her eyes tears my heart apart. It also makes me want to drive to his house and run his mailbox over with my car.
“O, I am not. I don’t know why you always say that. Jason was so good to me for so long, and no boy has ever even looked at me the way he did. Plus, he was way out of my league; no boy ever wanted me before him. I was always just the girl who hung by your side O, girls didn’t like me because they wanted you, and boys didn’t even look twice at me or just viewed me as a bro. I’m never going to find someone like him again. No one is ever going to like me again, O.”
With every word, she started crying harder and harder. I know she believes those words too. Every word I hear, I can feel the anger swelling up in my chest. It is so hard hearing not only the person you love but also your best friend be so hard on herself.
“Y/N, come on. You know none of that is true. You’re beautiful, and you will find someone else; you just need to forget about Jas-“
“No, O, I won’t. You and I both know that it’s not true. He’s it; I’ll just be alone now that it’s really over with him.”
“Jesus Y/N, why can’t you see it. You’re beautiful, so many boys look at you constantly. They drooled over you in high school; they still do today.”
“O, please just stop. Just stop. I don’t want to hear your lies; I know as my best friend you’re trying to make me feel better, but just stop. I just won’t be with anyone.”
At this moment, I don’t want to be mad. But her words, her words are just setting everything in me on fire. She says these things every time this happens, every time that asshole steps all over her heart, and I can’t take it anymore.
“I bite my tongue, but I want to scream out every time this happens. You could be with me now, but I always tell you what you want to hear! But you’re never ready, and it’s so frustrating! He treats you so bad, and I’m so good to you, it’s not fair. You should be with me!”
Y/N’s POV
Shocked. Shocked is the only word you could even begin to describe how you’re feeling right now. Never in a million years did you think you would hear those words coming out of Owen’s mouth. Yet here you are, hearing him saying well, yelling these words at you as he’s standing in front of you just staring down at you.
It’s not like you never thought about it; it’s actually all you ever used to think about; you and Owen. You would agonize over your feelings for him. In high school, you would go home crying, seeing all the girls fawning over him. Every other girl getting his attention but you. You were just his friend, his sidekick. At some point, you accepted this, and that being his friend was worth it because at least he would still be in your life. Then you met Jason, sure you even thought about it from time to time because deep down, that feeling would never go away.
“Y/N, hello? I kind of just admitted something important, and you have nothing to say?”
You were so deep in your thoughts you didn’t even realize you had just left Owen hanging. He’s just standing in front of you, arms by his side, looking well nervous almost.
“O, I, I don’t think you mean what you’re saying.”
“Y/N, I know what I am saying! I’ve wanted to say it for years now. I have loved you since we were 15! You’re just too blind to see it; you always have been!”
“I want to believe you, O. I just..”
“Oh, for fuck’s sake!”
Owen yells, and before I can even understand what is going on, I feel his lips slam against mine. Fireworks. My lips slowly melt into his; I can hear his sigh of relief when he feels me reciprocating the kiss back to him. His bottom lip slips between my lips to deepen the kiss. Truly, nothing has ever felt so perfect. We slowly pull apart; he leans his head on mine. Forehead to forehead. I see that perfect smile make its way across his face.
“Believe me now? It’s always been you and I, Y/N. I have always loved you.”
I can’t help but smile at those words, words that I didn’t know how bad I truly wanted to hear, no, needed to hear. He’s right; it’s always been him and I, Owen and Y/N.
“I know O, you and I. You’ve always been there, and I have always loved you too.”
“I told you I’m right here; I’m glad you finally realized it.”
He says before he places his lips back onto mine.
We spend the rest of the night talking, cuddling, and watching the movie. More than anything we spend the night giving each other kisses and whispering sweet nothings into each other’s ears. I don’t know what we quite are yet, but I know that he’s my cure.

can u write one about last nights episode maybe the kids with links parents and also when they drop the kids off and amelink idk
Handwritten
a/n: hi! i had a bunch of requests to write something after the episode and I hope you enjoy this!
------------
"You might want to put on a shirt," Amelia muttered, running her hand over Link's back as she passed. "Your parents are coming in for breakfast in a few minutes."
"Scout spit up all over my shirt. The dude's got an upset stomach today; I've gone through three shirts."
"It's because he keeps eating. Don't give him a bottle every time he cries," she busied herself at the sink, grabbing a plate from last night's dinner. "But seriously, go put on a shirt before your parents walk in and think we were doing something else." He groaned dramatically, dragging his feet as he walked towards the stairs. She shook her head in amusement and laughed to herself.
"Better?" He asked after returning, gesturing to his clean shirt.
"Appropriate for parents," she grinned, crossing her arms over her chest. "Did you have any idea they were coming?"
"Nope. I think my mom knew that if she said anything, I'd try to convince them out of it or give them a fake address." Link picked up stray toys from the living room floor, tidying up the space around him. "You're not mad they're here, right?" She walked over to join him, folding the throw blanket and tossing it over the back of the couch.
"No, I'm actually glad they're here. It's the break we never thought we'd get." Amelia stopped at the sound of a knock on the door, moving faster than Link to answer the door. He followed behind her, his hand settling on the small of her back as the door opened to reveal his parents. "Hi," Amelia greeted, stepping back as they walked through the doorway.
"I hope the kids didn't drive you too insane after we got home," Maureen pulled Amelia into a hug.
"No, they were out like lights as soon as they got home. We literally can't thank you enough for doing that." She greeted Eric before Link led them all into the living room. "I'll go start on some waffles for us?" Amelia suggested, heading into the kitchen.
"Oh, I'll come help!" Maureen eagerly followed behind the neurosurgeon as their partners both laid on the couch. "I love Eric, but being in an RV with him for two weeks straight gets to be a lot." Amelia grinned while pulling the waffle maker out from the cabinet.
"There are too many kids in here for Link and I to get sick of each other. Yesterday was the first time we've actually gotten to spend time with each other since the beginning of the pandemic. It feels like there's always someone who needs our attention." Maureen smiled sympathetically, watching as Amelia mixed ingredients together.
"How's their mom doing?"
"Meredith's awake, which is a total relief. I don't want to get my hopes up or anything, but I have a feeling she'll be coming home soon."
"And she's your sister-in-law, right?" The brunette smiled in affirmation, pouring batter into the machine. "They're great kids, even better in person than on a computer screen."
"It's a little surreal to see you in person," Amelia joked, pulling a plate out of the cabinet. "I got used to the slight distortion from the camera and the occasional freezing when you'd talk. Now your mouth moves in sync with your words. Could you hand me a spatula? The drawer to your right. Thanks," she placed a waffle onto the plate. Her hands ran through her hair, pressing lightly against her temples. "It's so oddly quiet. You guys really tired the kids out."
"We'd love to do it again sometime. I can't imagine having a newborn while also having to parent your nieces and nephew, all during a pandemic."
"One day at a time," Amelia mumbled. "But, whenever you want to take them, they're all yours. They need some sort of grandparent experience anyway."
"Do they not know their grandparents?"
"Nope," she shook her head. "Both of Meredith's parents are dead, and so is my dad and my mom's across the country. She hasn't visited since my brother's funeral, which was about five years ago. God, I didn't realize it's been that long."
"We'll be surrogate grandparents. Whenever we come to steal Scout, we'll happily take them along. Someone needs to spoil them."
"Oh, trust me, Link does that enough. I constantly have to remind him that donuts and candy aren't for right before dinner," she laughed, plating more waffles.
"Am I allowed to ask if you two are planning on getting married? Link won't tell me anything," Maureen sighed, running her hand across the countertop.
"We've kinda put that on the back burner. We're not in any sort of rush to get married, as much as Zola would like, so we're waiting until things settle down and we feel better about everything going on." Amelia unplugged the waffle maker and washed her hands in the sink. "Why?"
"I always wanted a daughter. And, I know that marriage is really just a legal thing, but it still makes it official." A blush crept onto Amelia's face, and she smiled widely, looking down for a moment. "Sorry, I should've asked; are you comfortable with me calling you my daughter or daughter-in-law? I get a little excited sometimes and don't watch what I'm saying."
"Of course," they both grinned. "You've honestly been more of a mother than my own, so I am more than okay with that." Maureen pulled Amelia into a tight hug.
"I'm not going to freak out right now," she whispered, pulling back. "I'm delighted to have you in the family. And, seeing you with Link makes me think that we didn't totally screw up his view of love or his life."
"Link is pretty much the best person I know. So, I think you did a fine job raising him, for whatever that's worth." Amelia beamed as she looked at the woman in front of her.
"I think you're just as amazing, for whatever that's worth," Maureen rubbed her daughter-in-law's shoulder lightly before grabbing a plate of waffles. "I'm dying to go eat these."
"We can go eat on the couch. Just don't tell Meredith," Amelia mused, grabbing two plates and carrying one to Link.
"Thank you," he whispered, sitting up from the couch. "Did you have a good time with my mom?" Amelia turned to him with a grin on her face and laid her head against his shoulder.
"I really did."
"Remember when you were terrified to meet them?" She rolled her eyes and stuck her fork into a waffle.
"Keep talking, and I'll bring my mother out here. That'll make you shut up." His face fell, and she laughed, shoving a forkful into her mouth. "I'm joking."
"Yeah, until she shows up on our doorstep one day."
"You'd be fine. She'd love you, meeting under normal circumstances where you're not pretending to be my husband, Owen." He shook his head in amusement. "After all, you're probably the sanest of anyone I've introduced to her."
"Probably," he whispered, picking up his own fork. "Very reassuring." Amelia nudged his arm as a laugh fell from her mouth.
"It's pretty hard not to love you."
"Even harder to not love you."

can you do a fic of how amelia told maggie she was pregnant in season 16?
Sisters
A/N: Thank you for this prompt! I love Magmelia! In my head, there is so many ways Amelia telling Maggie could've gone but I decided to go with a little comedy relief. I wish we had seen Maggie finding out but I hope you like this!
“Maggie!” Amelia yells for her sister as she walks in the house, slamming the door shut behind her “Maggie, where are you?”
“Up here!” Maggie calls back to her sister, immediately hearing her begin running up the stairs.
Seconds later, the door to Maggie’s room flies open and Amelia appears. Without saying a word she walks in and flings herself onto the bed, laying on her back and staring up at the ceiling. Maggie watches her sister with raised eyebrows,
“I’m gonna kill him.” Amelia announces causing Maggie to laugh,
“Kill who?” she asks, confused “What’s going on?”
Amelia huffs, letting out the breath she had been holding before sitting up and looking at her sister across the room. She slightly tilts her head to the side,
“I’m pregnant.”
Amelia watches as Maggie’s mouth opens and confusion spreads across her face once more unsure if she heard correctly, “What?”
“I’m pregnant.” Amelia repeats, Maggie’s jaw drops again “Oh my god! Amelia!” she squeals, clearly excited by the news but taking it down a notch as Amelia starts laughing dramatically to herself and stands up, beginning to pace around the room.
“God, how did this even happen?” she turns to look at Maggie “I'm on the pill!”
Maggie gives her a small smile, “It’s not always-” “Effective, I know.”
Amelia continues pacing around the room, “I know it’s not 100% effective but it hasn't let me down once in the eight years I've been on it so I just...” she takes a deep breath, stopping her pacing to look at Maggie again, gesturing her hands out “We were safe!”.
Maggie raises her eyebrows causing Amelia to roll her eyes, turning to continue her movements “Okay, well, I guess there was the conference, neither of us had a condom but I said it would be fine because...” she forces a laugh “Because I'm on the pill!” she says with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
Maggie gives her a sympathetic smile, opening her mouth to say something but is cut off by Amelia continuing to spin out “And then, there was the blue room...”
“You had sex in my blue room?” Maggie’s eyes widen at her sister, Amelia gives her the look “Right! Not important...”
“But he pulled out and then after that, we didn't unless we had protection!” Amelia moves back to the bed, sitting herself down at the end.
“Well, it only takes one time.” Maggie said softly, Amelia releases a long breath “I know, I know all this I just... can't believe it happened to me.”
“Ughhhhhhh” Amelia groans and throws herself back onto the bed again, Maggie watches her sister with soft eyes, she knew this was something Amelia had struggled with when she was with Owen except this time, she was actually pregnant.
“I cannot believe he got me pregnant.” she laughs “I’m gonna kill him!” she brings her hands to cover her face, rubbing it stressfully “And,” she sits up again, quickly “I didn't even notice it! Carina literally had to tell me!”
Maggie moves from her place sat at her desk over to the bed, sitting down next to Amelia, offering her a smile. She places her hand over Amelia’s comfortingly, sensing her sisters anxiety.
“What do you need?” Maggie asks, Amelia smiles weakly, laying back down “Can we just stay here a minute?”
Maggie nods, laying down next to her sister. They stay in a comfortable silence for a few minutes. Amelia’s mind running a hundred miles a minute. Maggie turns her head to look at Amelia, scanning her face and finding a tear running down her cheek. Maggie takes Amelia’s hand in hers once again,
“You know, no matter what you decide, I'm here for you, whatever you need.” Amelia nods softly, offering a small smile “You’re not going to be alone, I know that’s what you're thinking but I'll be here, no matter what.”
“Thank you.” Amelia says softly as the sisters fall into a comfortable silence again, Maggie knowing that all Amelia needed was to feel her there.

Thoughts on Grey’s Anatomy: 17X10
SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
I loved this episode! It was so so good! I loved seeing Mark and Lexie on the beach encouraging Meredith to return. I knew Lexie was going to be back based on last week’s promo, but I literally screamed out loud twice when Mark appeared on screen! I was shocked! I like what Mark and Lexie said to Meredith about the sand not being real and that the beach was in Meredith’s head and was her happy place and that it wasn’t real. She was in control even if she didn’t feel like it. Seeing her lost loved ones comforts her in her time of need. When living people she loves come to talk to her she sees them because it’s comforting.
I have a theory about who we see and why. Since this episode establishes that the beach is in Meredith’s head and she can go back if she wants to I think DeLuca appearing on the beach and them getting closer and her watching him reunite with his mother was her brain’s interpretation of people coming into her room and telling her that DeLuca had been injured and needed surgery and that he was stable and then telling her that he wasn't and had died from his injuries.
She needed closure on a tumultuous relationship so her COVID wrecked brain gave it to her in the form of a peaceful COVID fever dream during a difficult team. She sees and hears Hayes because she’s falling for him the same way that he’s falling for her and because he’s talking about her kids who she loves. She wants to go back but she’s doesn’t know how. She sees Richard and Bailey and hears their concerns and how worried they are about her because Richard is like a father to her and Bailey is a maternal figure in her life.
She wants to go back and as George says to her if she doesn’t it will break Richard. She sees Derek because he’s the love of her life and he represents death and passing over which is a real possibility and option. His presence comforts her in a way that no one else’s can. She sees George because what he did and how he died changed her life and they never got to have that closure in life. She never got to tell him that, but in her fever dream she does. She gets that closure and gets to re-examine why she did what she did. Why she goes all out for everyone like he did.
Seeing Mark and Lexie gives her closure too. Lexie provides that joy and that sunny optimism Meredith used to hate but eventually grew to love and missed so much when she died. Mark provides laughter and gives her the matter of fact tough love that she needs to hear in her time of need. Everyone plays a part and brings us joy and closure in the process. I loved Mark’s lines about how sometimes he yells in everyone’s ears to try and get them to listen and see reason. How sometimes people listen to him and think it’s their own idea and sometimes they don’t. How Callie and Arizona’s divorce made him shout.
It made me think of all the times when Lexie and Mark and other characters probably shouted at the living characters for their stupidity. Meredith deciding to waste her time dating DeLuca? Lexie and Derek definitely yelled in her ears for that. Every stupid fight, divorce, break up, date, and bad decision the characters have made since Derek, Mark, Lexie, and George died? They’ve definitely screamed their ears off at them. We now know that George tries to shake the grief out of his mother and Mark and Lexie make a habit of yelling in the ears of their loved ones making horrible decisions. I love it!
There’s something so hilarious and reassuring about the dead who have left us yelling and shaking us from beyond the grave and us taking that as a sign or our own idea and moving forward and making better decisions. I loved seeing Meredith talk about Bailey’s birthday party with Lexie and how what he really wanted for his birthday was for all of them to laugh. That establishes that Bailey’s birthday is in March or April. Which again makes that gelato DeLuca comment from Episode 8 literally impossible because he couldn’t have brought Bailey gelato for his actual or half birthday when he and Meredith only dated for a few months and he only met her kids officially a few weeks before they broke up.
Hayes’ storyline with his sister-in-law Irene was everything! We learned more about her, got to see what her relationship with Hayes is like, and learned more about how his boys are handling everything. He got his own storyline and development. I love it! His tour of the hospital on the way to the OR was hilarious! “And that is a supply closet!” LOL! I loved how supportive Irene was of him moving on. She really wanted to meet Meredith this great General Surgeon he keeps talking about all the time to his boys to the point that she knows all about her and knows that Hayes is definitely smitten. I loved her line when Hayes told her she couldn’t meet Meredith because she was on a ventilator and she looked at him and said, “Again?”
The fact that she knows he likes her because of the way he smiles every time he talks about her to the point that the boys have picked up on it and told her? My heart! Irene really came through for us in this episode! Bless her! Hayes was so distraught this episode. I like that they really showed his process and how upset he was that Meredith was still on a vent and that Irene was sick. His pain when he talked to Jo about how he couldn’t bear to tell his boys that they had lost another person that they love whose been taking care of them was heart wrenching.
Irene is a total badass. The information we’ve gotten about her shows what a fiercely loyal and supportive person she is. Cormac and Abigail meet at the Surgical Innovation Conference in LA when Abigail is a starving artist and Cormac is early on in his medical career. His conversations with Meredith show that he’s unfamiliar with American medical terms and colloquialisms and he talks about growing up in Ireland and how every day is Pro Bono Surgery Day there. We know that after his wife died he took his boys and moved to Zurich, Switzerland where he worked for two years before moving to the U.S.A. to take the job in Seattle.
We also know that Irene was Abigail’s POA when she was sick and that prior to the pandemic she was back living in LA. All of which implies that sometime after Abigail and Cormac met she decided to move to Ireland to be with him and they got married and she gave birth to Liam and Austin while Hayes was a practising surgeon in Ireland. But that when Abigail got sick Irene gave up her life in LA to move to Ireland for several years to be her sister’s POA and support her nephews and brother-in-law.
Abigail ultimately died and following that Cormac took Liam and Austin and moved to Zurich at which point Irene moved back to LA where she was living during Season 16 when they went to visit her during the Conference Episode. When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit the U.S. Irene then insisted on moving to Seattle to care for Liam and Austin while Cormac worked at Grey Sloan. Cormac and Irene drive each other crazy and agree on nothing and her own sister called her crazy before she died and yet she picked up and moved her whole life across the Atlantic and then to a different state for them. That’s love. That’s badass. You keep doing you Irene!
The scenes with Jo and Catherine in the OR cracked me up! "Child, who throws away a kidney? Lord." Haha! I loved Jo’s reaction when Catherine brought up switching careers. At first, I was confused as to why Jo lied, but then my friend Amy who I watch with pointed out that maybe Jo doesn’t want her boss to know she’s considering switching specialties just yet. I’d honestly like to see Jo switch from General to Urology. As Catherine says there are few women in the field and there are a lot of general surgeons on this show.
Jo switching from one surgical specialty to another to find joy and challenge herself makes sense to me. Her switching from general surgery to OBGYN does not. I thought she was going to adopt that baby Luna but then she told Jackson and Link that she doesn’t want to have children now or maybe ever and their scene this episode was pretty short. I thought when she was considering switching to OBGYN that either Carina or Hayes would train her.
But they’ve moved Carina over to Station 19 so completely that her brother died on Grey’s Anatomy and we only saw her briefly at the end of Episode 8 when she attended her brother’s memorial. Prior to this episode I would have described Jo and Hayes as friends, but they were pretty adversarial this episode and at this point they seem to be two people that like each other well enough and who respect each other’s surgical skills and that’s it. So, based on this week’s episode Hayes definitely isn’t going to step up and train Jo in his specialty. They’re not close enough and he’s got enough on the go.
I loved the scene where Jo and Jackson were in bed together and Jo started talking about how scary his Mom was and he was like why are you talking about my Mom when we’re naked together? It reminded me of how April thought his Mom was the coolest and walked on water and would talk about it when they were together. Made me laugh! I love seeing Maggie innovate and find a way to help those poor patients and double the hospital’s ventilator capacity!
Seeing Richard dance it out at the news and then again when him and Owen successfully took Meredith off the vent and she began breathing on her own was glorious! Such joy! Winston’s proposal and Maggie’s acceptance of it surprised me! I like them together and want them to get their happy ending, but this feels a bit sudden likely brought on by all the stress they are experiencing.
I mean Amelia and Link have a child together and are also co-parenting Leo and Allison with Teddy and Owen and are raising a boatload of children during the pandemic and they’re not married or engaged. It was nice that Teddy and Owen finally stopped fighting after half a season of nonsense! That was nice. I loved how Amelia stepped up and supported Teddy and told her what she needed to hear. Yeah therapy sucks sometimes. It can be uncomfortable. So are mammograms.
We still get them! You have to put in the work to get better otherwise it doesn’t happen. I like that they are showing us the process of Teddy getting better while making sure that the kids are looked after. Teddy is doing a bit better, but she’s still not well enough to be looking after Leo and Allison by herself without supervision and since Amelia is at home anyways she might as well help.
Plus, it’s probably good for Leo and Allison to play with Zola, Bailey, and Ellis. They’ve only seen Owen and his Mom for two months. I liked the moment where Teddy said that Ellis looked like Amelia and that they really are sisters. She’s Meredith’s daughter, but she’s clearly picked up some of Amelia’s mannerisms because Amelia’s helping to raise her. Which does happen. Also, she’s Derek’s daughter too and since Amelia and Derek are siblings and share a resemblance it makes sense that she might also share traits with Ellis. I like that we are learning more about Bailey and Ellis this season.
Seeing the joy on everyone’s faces, including Zola’s, when Owen came in and told everyone that they took Meredith off the vent and that she was breathing on her was palpable. Such a great moment! I loved the moment where Tom was holding a rosary praying for Meredith and Owen finally stopped being a jerk for five seconds to comfort him and tell him about his own experience with survivor’s guilt after coming back from Iraq after his entire platoon was killed.
I’d like to see them explore Tom’s relationship with faith more. Something else I loved? The texts from Cristina! Loved it! Owen was like I can read her charts myself and Cristina was like I don’t care take a picture! I love that we’ve seen Cristina through text messages the last two seasons. I really miss her. Also is anyone updating Alex? I feel like they are, but I would love to see them mention or show it on screen. Same with Callie and Arizona. I felt like Hayes was the obvious choice for keeping Cristina up to date but seeing as he has a lot going on this episode my guess is that she texted him and he didn’t respond because he was too busy worrying about Irene so she texted Owen and asked for an update.
Did anyone else feel like it was hypocritical for Owen to be so mad at Teddy for still being in love with Allison and not telling him about their relationship when he’s apparently been texting Cristina about Meredith’s condition and talking to Amelia regularly this whole time? He clearly still has feelings for both of them and they are still very much alive and in communication with him and he’s mad that Teddy didn’t tell him about a dead lover? Jerk.
I loved seeing Levi step up and step into his own as a doctor. He’s no longer the bumbling fool of seasons past. He’s got his crap together and he’s going to do what needs to be done to keep his patient alive and healthy. His song about hump day cracked me up! Link was so happy to be operating this episode LOL! His comment about the poop diaper explosion was something else. Seeing Richard’s anger and frustration and seeing him explain how he was feeling to Link felt raw and really expressed how we’re all feeling like now. The fact that being low on ventilators is a real problem that hospitals have been facing ever since the pandemic started is enraging! I hate that this is real.
I hate that real hospitals with real patients have to make these kinds of calls. Health care providers are real superheroes. I could never make a decision like that. How do you decide who lives and who dies? How do you decide who needs a ventilator most and live with the consequences for you and the patient? I couldn’t do it. I love that Meredith appears to be waking up in next week’s promo. My bet is that she’s going to reunite with Derek one last time and then wake up. I’m interested to see Richard fill her in on what’s being going on and to see Amelia and Link talk about the possibility of getting married at some point. Also, can we take a moment to appreciate shirtless Link? Hot!
Until next time!

Fifteenth Year
Part 10 | Part 12
Finding a house just outside of town is relatively easy, all things considered. Now that Dani and Jamie have been there for over a decade, the people in the town have grown used to their presence, even fond of them. It probably helps that their union is now civil and thus recognized by law, but there had been a general air of acceptance long before that. Dani and Jamie did their part in the community, lived their lives together and quietly made their way in the town. Turns out, that did more for them than they thought.
Having The Leafling downtown gave them both plenty of time to make connections with the other business owners and patrons in the area, both professionally and a few that they got to know more personally. (They’d established a trade system with the coffee shop across the street, one that had worked for years and garnered both businesses more attention from passing tourists. One small bouquet/arrangement for one small coffee.) When Dani started substitute teaching, they made even more connections with the families in town and it was through them that they learned of a house for sale in one of the nicer neighborhoods. The house was large, two-story with three bathrooms and five bedrooms. A quick stop at the realtors office down the street from the shop, a house tour and a sizable payment later, Dani and Jamie were officially homeowners.
Moving in proved to be a more difficult task. Dani hadn’t expected to feel so nostalgic as they packed up their apartment over the shop but maybe she should have. After all, they had spent close to fifteen years living there, most of that time with a literal ghost. The silving lining existed in the fact that they weren’t losing the apartment, weren’t planning to rent it out anytime soon so they could still come back to it if they wished, but Dani would miss living there. She enjoyed the process of moving, though.
It seemed to be some kind of neighborhood event when they moved in and so they had a lot of help unloading trucks and moving furniture around. It was a great chance to meet all the people they’d be sharing the street with and if Jamie melted a little bit every time one of the neighborhood kids ran up to Dani yelling ‘Mrs. Clayton! Mrs. Clayton when will you teach me again?’ well, no one could really blame her. A few times Dani had pointed Jamie out to the children who were then extra excited because ‘there’s two Mrs. Claytons? Will she teach us too?’ And then Jamie would find herself swarmed by a small mob of children asking her about plants. Both interactions were entirely too adorable and made both women look forward to the days when it would be their own children fluttering back and forth between the two of them on the lawn, entertained with games and snacks while the adults milled around.
With all the help, they were all moved in by mid-afternoon with only the unpacking to do, which Jamie convinced her wife to leave for the next day after they got the bed made up.
“It’s not like we have a new bed to break in,” Dani laughed as Jamie hovered over her, shirt unbuttoned and a toned abdomen on full display. Dani couldn’t help but run her hands along Jamie’s stomach and smiled as she felt the muscles jumping beneath her touch.
“We’ve got a whole house to break in, Poppins,” Jamie leaned down to kiss at Dani’s neck. “Gotta do it now, before we’ve got kids walking in on us all the time.”
Dani laughed again and pulled Jamie into a kiss that voiced her agreement. Jamie had a point, after all.
They spent a few months settling into their new place, getting into the routine of going into town for work and coming home in the afternoon, before they started looking into adoption. There was a lot of unnecessary paperwork and red tape to work through, but they eventually got their license to foster children with the option to adopt later on and so they ended up sharing their first Christmas in their new house with three small children. A six year old boy, a three year old girl, and another boy who was only a few months old. All siblings whose parents had died in a car crash. According to the kids’ files, at least their father had been a drunk and they hadn’t been treated very well while under his care. The social worker thought they might benefit from being in a house without a strong male authority figure.
Dani and Jamie had fallen in love with all three of them on the first day.
The oldest, Jonathan, was bright and cheery and smart as a whip. He wasn’t as used to open affection yet, he still tensed when anyone touched him unexpectedly or spoke in too loud of a voice, but he had started to warm up to them. The girl had the sweetest laugh and looked like she could have been Dani’s biological child, they were so similar. Her name was Hannah. Both women had teared up a bit when they learned her name, thinking back to their old friend. The baby boy, Michael, was just getting to the point where he was trying to sit up on his own and though the sleepless nights and diaper changes were frustrating at times, neither woman could hold onto that feeling for long. Michael was simply too adorable to stay mad at for long.
They had spent Christmas morning piled together in the living room, opening what seemed to be a mountain of presents. Henry, Flora, and Miles had insisted on sending the little ones presents, as did Owen, since they couldn’t be there in person. Dani and Jamie thought it was a bit too soon to introduce the little ones to their extended family. That would have to wait.
In the afternoon, Jamie took the two oldest kids outside to play in the snow while Dani settled Michael down for a nap and then got started on a substitute Christmas dinner for them. She had hot chocolate waiting for the three shivering but happy people who joined her in the kitchen once the novelty of the snow had worn off for a bit and though Jamie was a bit skeptic, they all drank it without complaint. Perhaps there was one beverage Dani could get right.
They spent the evening watching Christmas films together in one large pile on the couch until all three of the children had drifted off, Michael curled in Jamie’s arms, Hannah lying between Jamie and Dani with her feet against Dani’s legs and head against Jamie’s arm, and Jonathan leaning against Dani’s other side.
“They’re ours,” Jamie said, her voice low so she wouldn’t wake them. Dani stretched out the arm Jonathan wasn’t laying on towards her wife, slipping her fingers into short hair.
“They are,” she agreed easily. She felt it the moment they met. “We’ll ask them tomorrow if they want to stay with us.”
Jamie nodded, and gestured down towards Hannah. “Take her, will you? We should get them to bed.”
Dani gently eased Hannah over until her position was almost reversed so Jamie could stand with Michael in her arms. Jamie rounded the couch, pausing to press a kiss against Dani’s hair, and then made her way up the stairs. Hannah shifted against Dani’s side, nuzzling closer to her. Dani leaned down and kissed Hannah’s hair and then repeated the action to Jonathan on her other side. Jonathan stirred at the touch.
“It’s okay, buddy,” Dani soothed him as the little boy looked around. “Jamie’s just putting Michael to bed.”
“And you’re up next, Penguin.” Jamie said as she came back into the living room. Dani smiled at her wife. Jamie had given all of the kids they fostered so far a different animal nick-name and she’d yet to use the same one twice. Jonathan had been dubbed Penguin when he awkwardly flapped his arms the first day they met, looking like a penguin trying to walk. Hannah became Koala bear due to her tendency to hold on to either Jamie or Dani like a koala at any given opportunity. Michael was Monkey because he had a strong grip that Jamie swore meant he’d be climbing all over things as soon as he could. “Say goodnight.”
“Goodnight mom,” Jonathan said tiredly, leaning into Dani as she wiggled her arm free to wrap around him.
“Goodnight buddy,” Dani returned with a kiss against his hair, sure there were tears shining in her eyes. Jamie lifted the boy up into her arms, eyes shining in the same way that Dani’s were, and carried him upstairs to his own room. Dani followed this time after maneuvering Hanna into her arms to carry her as well. Once the girl was tucked into bed, Dani made her way to Michael’s nursery to check on him and kiss him goodnight before she made her way to the master bedroom to wait for her wife. Jamie joined her after a quick stop in Hannah’s room to kiss her goodnight as well.
“He called you mom,” Jamie said, sounding as amazed as Dani felt. “Do you think that means he wants to stay?”
“I hope it does,” Dani changed into something to sleep in and then crawled into bed, quickly joined by Jamie. “They’re ours Jamie, I can feel it. It’s almost like how I felt when I first saw you.”
“And how’s that?” Jamie asks, though she’s heard the story before. She loves hearing her wife say it.
“Like I’d known you all my life, like you were always meant to be a part of it.”
“Ditto Poppins,” Jamie pressed their lips together shortly. “I love you.”
“I love you, too,” Dani kissed her again. “And I love our family.”
Somewhere above them, in the place where she had finally found her rest, Viola Lloyd smiled down at the happy couple as they fell asleep in one another’s arms. She knew that Dani and Jamie deserved to enjoy all the good in life they could get and was happy to see that the same love that had been her salvation was still growing after all these years.
All in all, after fifteen years, their life could only be described as perfectly splendid.

Rewatching the Bourne series
Just recently rewatched this series. In my opinion, one of the best action-thriller franchises around. I caught onto the Bourne movies fairly late. In fact I think Ultimatum was the first movie I saw in theaters. But I caught up with Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy before watching Ultimatum. The initial trilogy in particular is pretty superb trilogy of movies. While I know there are people who don’t like The Bourne Legacy and Jason Bourne, I still find them enjoyable to varying degrees.
The Bourne Identity is my second favorite film in the franchise behind Ultimatum. In context of the series, you can tell this one is made by a different director since the action scenes look different. The film is a bit more of a mystery because we are basically finding out about what is going on as Bourne does, which can be tricky because, if not executed correctly, without knowing who the character is, you can find it hard to feel attached to the character. That’s where I think Liman did a great job in making Bourne seem like an underdog but still making him a complete badass. The relationship with Marie is key here. Unlike in many spy films where romance seems extraneous to the story, here it works to ground Bourne to some sort of normalcy which he craves and which is why he doesn’t want to continue being a killer. The CIA stuff is also compelling because actors like Cooper and Cox are able to deliver exposition in a compelling way. The pacing is key, which is key to the entire franchise. All 4 movies with Damon clock in under two hours and not a minute of the movie is wasted. The action is excellent but the highlight action piece is definitely the car chase, which is superbly coordinated. Also surprisingly affecting in a very short role is Clive Owen. His death scene is exceptionally well executed and his performance in that scene is really well done. What he says in that scenes comes back later in Ultimatum. Matt Damon was all fresh faced around the time this movie came out and it really was a casting against what he had done prior to this and that works big time. He has a casual, unassuming presence but he just turns on the badass in an epic way. The role suits him perfectly and he’s excellent in it. Franka Potente is also great as Marie. A 8.5/10
The Bourne Supremacy is my third favorite film of the series, just a smidge behind Identity. Its still excellent. Its the shortest film of the series and it does feel it at times. It just hurtles along. I was initially a little annoyed at how they killed off Marie to give Bourne a motivation, but I also understand that practically, its impossible for Marie to keep up with Bourne as he shuttles all the way across the world. The scope of this movie is significantly increased. Whereas the first movie was set in interconnected Europe, largely in Paris, this film goes from India, to Naples, to Berlin, to Moscow. The film also gradually expands Bourne’s past as we gradually start learning about the things he’s done. The film acts as part revenge thriller and part mystery as Bourne tries to figure out his memories. There is a bit of narrative convenience here, that Bourne is remembering details of that assassination just as the CIA is digging into the Neski files. But the film flows so well that you can forgive minor narrative conveniences like that. The film introduces Pam Landy and the CIA side of things is given a bit more of a stronger narrative. Whereas in Identity, the CIA guys were the clear antagonists to Bourne, here Pam Landy is also posed as a figure who is trying to do the right thing. Cox and Stiles are back as Abbott and Pasrons respectively. Julia Stiles didn’t have much to do in Identity other than follow orders but you start to see her role get expanded. Cox takes the role of the primary CIA antagonist. Karl Urban as the Russian assassin was a welcome presence, but in the end the film is carried by Damon. He’s a bit angrier and bit more emotional and he’s excellent throughout. The film introduces Greengrass’ now infamous shaky cam action. For me, while I normally don’t like it, Greengrass is one of the few directors who knows how to do it well. Admittedly, the fight scene between Bourne and Jarda is not the best filmed one, so his technique was still a work in progress, but the rest of the action is top class. Again, the car chase sequence in the finale is top notch and thrilling. Also, it has probably the coolest ending of the series. A 8/10
The Bourne Ultimatum was the first Bourne film I watched in theaters and its my favorite. I think the film is near perfect across the board. I think this film makes the best use of all the cast and Greengrass gives us some terrific action sequences throughout the movie. And because this Bourne tracing back his origin, its perhaps the most compelling mystery of the series as he tries to find out how he became who he is. Firstly, the action is the best it is in the series. The Bourne vs Desh fight is the highwater mark when it comes to individual fight scenes in the series. Its compelling, brutal, and you feel every punch. All the chase sequences, be it foot chases or car chases are incredibly intense. I think the CIA part of the movie is the most compelling it has ever been with David Strathairn is excellent as Vosen, who plays the new CIA antagonist, and Joan Allen continues to be terrific as Pam Landy. Them playing counterparts to each other makes it fascinating to watch even the non Bourne scenes. Then Julia Stiles get an even more expanded role as Nicky Parsons. The Bourne and Nicky dynamic is interestingly played with a touch history and one sided romantic tension which is never directly addressed. But it does make it compelling. Albert Finney shows up as the Dr. Frankenstein of the Treadstone/Blackbriar operation and he’s enigmatic as hell. The climax between Bourne and Hirsch is terrifically acted by both parties. We also see a mirror of the scene from Identity where Bourne repeats the same dialogue to Edgar Ramirez’s assassin that Owen’s character had said to him. Damon is superb as always. Completely natural in the action and perfectly balancing stoicism with vulnerability when required. The film ends on a note that would have been perfect if they had chosen to end the series here. A 9/10.
The Bourne Legacy is kind of the step child of this series. The only movie which doesn’t have Damon/Bourne in the series. Intended to start a spinoff series but didn’t quite have the commercial success to do so. I admit that when I first saw the film in theaters, I didn’t like it. Over time, I have grown to appreciate it more although its still well below the original trilogy of films for me. Firstly, what’s good. Jeremy Renner is an excellent protagonist. Being compared to Damon is a thankless job but he managed to forge a different character in Aaron Cross. Rachel Weisz also does a strong job as Dr. Shearing and Renner and Wesiz have decent chemistry. The film doesn’t try and ape the previous Bourne films and it goes for a different angle. Its more a survival film for the protagonists than a mystery. The characters aren’t trying to bring down the program, not trying to find out something, just trying to escape the clutches of the Defense Department. The action scenes are good. However, the film is the longest of the series and it feels like it. The film also royally wastes an actor of the caliber of Edward Norton. He does fine with what he has but he’s literally just there barking orders in front of monitors. He shares one short flashback scene with Renner, but otherwise is disconnected from the other two leads, Whereas in the previous Bourne films and even in Jason Bourne, there were always at least two main characters who had interactions with each in the rooms of the CIA, allowing for some interplay, this time Norton is all on his own which makes the search for Cross and Marta a lot less interesting. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the idea of chems, but I have grown to accept it. The film also doesn’t have any major hand to hand fighting sequences. They hype up the Larx assassin but he ends up dying because Marta pushes hum while he was riding a bike. Pretty underwhelming after all the build up. What I especially didn’t like is how the film tries to undo Ultimatum’s ending. I don’t know who thought that was a good idea but it pissed me off. In the end, its a decently entertaining movie but its disappointing within the context of the franchise. A 5.5-6/10
Jason Bourne is a bit of a polarizing movie. Everyone was really excited when this movie was coming out and a bunch of them were disappointed. While I do think this is not as good as the initial trilogy of movies, I still do enjoy it. My issue with the movie lies on two fronts. The film is essentially divided into 3 sections. The main part is Jason Bourne continuing to track into his past as he finds out that there might be more to his recruitments than he thought. That part works perfectly and its very compelling. There is the CIA backroom drama between Dewey and Lee and the Asset, which is also solid. What doesn’t work is the third angle about the new blackops program connected with Deep Dream. It feels like the writers and the director stretching to try and be very timely and addressing issues of privacy without making it fit very organically to the story. I mean, Bourne isn’t even really connected to that part of the story and whenever that portion of the movie takes focus, its less interesting. In addition, the film doesn’t make it clear exactly how Dewey is connected to Bourne’s past. The film indicates that Bourne knows Dewey but the how isn’t explained. But everything directly connected to Bourne works well and I did like that the Asset is given a more direct personal connection to Bourne, which makes their individual fight be more personal. I think Matt Damon is excellent in this movie. He plays Bourne more broken and on the edge than he’s ever been in this movie. There are several scenes, such as his climactic scene with TLJ, where you feel him teetering. Julia Stiles shows back up as Nicky who starts Bourne on her journey. Like with Marie, I was disappointed she was killed off but I also get that Bourne needs to be alone in order to be able to move as fast he does from one place to another. TLJ is an old pro at roles like these and it shows. He does it with ease. Alicia Vikander is good as Heather Lee but I feel as the role needed someone a little bit older to be believable as someone as high up as her in the agency. But I suppose her being a young ambitious upstart is part of the point. When it comes to the action, I think its all top notch. I know not everyone likes shaky cam but Greengrass uses it well. The Greece sequence, the car chase in the climax, and the hand to hand fight sequence in the end, is all well done. I am also glad thiat it does seem to indicate that not everything that Bourne exposed in Ultimatum was covered up and Blackbriar was exposed, unlike what Legacy indicated. The film doesn’t address Legacy at all apart from listing Outcome and Larx in the list of Blackops programs. Overall still a good movie. A 7/10 for me.
I do think the series should be ended. There is a feeling of the films becoming formulaic setting in at this point and Bourne has taken down everyone who had to do with him becoming who he was and has no figured how he became who he was. So I don’t think there is anything more to explore. I don’t see The Cross series continuing since it underperformed at the BO and its been a long time since that movie came out now.

“How are you feeling?”
There wasn’t really an answer ready to be shot out at Owens when he asked that. It was the usual question asked by doctors when they wanted to get in your head, see what they needed to see to know if you were mentally alright. This felt like a mental evaluation after all.
You shrugged a bit and Joyce gently elbowed your arm that was against the wooden armrest. Looking at her you saw the worried look on her face. It was just a few days before Christmas, and none of you wanted to be here, let alone you.
No, the depression den that had become of the single bedroom apartment you’d been moved into was calling your name. The two liters of soda that contained more caffeine than necessary were also calling you.
The fear of falling asleep was overwhelming, and you knew that the cheap concealer you’d bought wasn’t completely hiding the dark bags under your eyes.
“It’s perfectly okay to not know how you feel. I don’t I think I would either-”
“When I was younger, my favorite movie was ‘Back to the Future,’ has that come out yet?” You doubted it, having not seen any posters or seen the VHS tape in the video store the last time you were there with Steve.
Owens mimicked your shrug from just seconds before. “I haven’t heard of it.”
“Right. Well, Marty McFly is the main character. And is forced into the past. . . 1955, I’m pretty sure. He’s from 85.’ But his parents are teenagers, his age in 55.’ When I was like four, I’d sprained my ankle at a park. We had gotten back from the ER, I was in a brace and Dad went to put my little brother down for a nap. Pa put on ‘Back to the Future.’ After that I always thought time travel was cool.”
Joyce’s hand grabbed yours in a comforting manner, her thumb rubbing gentle circles into your knuckles while you continued speaking.
“But in every movie and tv show they could go back. It could be difficult to do it. But they always did. They went back home. ‘Hot Tub Time Machine,’ ‘Avengers,’ ‘Doctor Who!’ They could go back. But I can’t, I’m stuck in the past and you’ve all said that I can’t go home.”
“You also said you didn’t want to go back to the ‘Upside Down’”
“You also didn’t offer any alternatives. Or even try to find them.”
Owens was quiet now, his face unreadable, blank of any expression while the two of you held eye contact and Joyce awkwardly sat and watched the two of you have an unspoken staring contest.
“I’m sad, and I’m angry. But mostly, sad. Because my dad and my pa said they wanted to raise my brother and I. And now they can’t finish raising me, cause I’m here. And I won’t see them for another 36 years. Maybe not even then. I’ll be like, 50. I could be dead by then.”
“Y/n,” Joyce spoke softly. “Don’t say that, you’ll be alright.”
“We don’t know that.” You looked at Joyce, and while her eyes were soft and full of sympathy while she continued holding your hand while you let her. “You asked how I’m feeling?” You looked back at Owens whose own face seemed to offer sympathy as well. “I’m always sad and angry. And I feel like I’m going crazy because I can hear Danny’s voice and a woman’s and I’m sleep deprived because everytime I do sleep I have these awful nightmares-”
“Voices?”
The moment he interrupted you, you wanted to run. But instead, you froze up. And the first thing, or rather person you wanted, was Steve. But why? You thought. Maybe it’s because he’d been there for you even though you called him in the very early morning, before the sun was even up.
“Y/n?” Joyce questioned while you looked down at your own lap, as though the details in your high waisted jeans were suddenly very interesting.
•••
The thing on your head pressed almost painfully into the nape of your neck and into your temples, Owens seemed to not be the biggest fan of even bringing you into this room and seemed put off when a nurse put the thing on your head.
It was freaking you out, making you feel like you were crazy. But then again, everything and everyone made you feel crazy, or different, or like you could break in a single second. It had you wishing that you could go back to a few nights ago, where you and Steve had driven two counties over and back. This isn’t the place you wanted to be a few days before Christmas.
“They’re going to turn on something, It could trigger the things you see, or hear, okay?” You looked up at the woman who adjusted the headpiece and nodded a bit before she left the room.
You looked over at Owens before down at the table in front of you. The sound turned on. It was a simple white noise, with a bit of a background to it. You blinked once and heard another voice you recognized.
“Just try, that’s all I need you to do.” Looking up you saw Brenner, a hand on a little girl’s shoulder. She wasn’t much older than three, and seemed to be in distress. You looked at the girl who then looked up at you, making eye contact from the other side of the table. She slowly turned her wrists over and on her right wrist you could see the numbers ‘012’ tattooed into the skin.
You blinked again, and it was gone, as well as the sound. “Owens, we got something.” He left the room, leaving you to your own thoughts.
If Eleven was ‘011’ and then that little girl was ‘012,’ were there others? And if so, how many got out alive? How did she see you? They were running through your mind at lightning speed that you didn’t notice when the sound came back on, but you did notice the little girl again, this time, maybe a bit older, staring at you intently, as if she was waiting for you.
She looked familiar. And for a moment you could have sworn that she reminded you of your little brother. “Hi.” You greeted quietly.
‘012’ tilted her head a bit before repeating your word back. “Hi.” Eleven had done the same thing when something like this happened. She repeated your word back.
“Like me.” She mumbled looking at you. Now you tilted your head in confusion but she grabbed your hand from across the table and pointed to the cheap watch you’d bought after you no longer had a phone to carry around, and then to her eyes. “Like me.”
“I don’t understand?”
“You see,” She pointed to her eyes again before pointing to your watch.
“Time?”
She nodded.
She was gone when the white noise was, leaving you in silence, and alone in the white clinical room, with the headpiece still on.
12, You thought. Who is she?
•••
Joyce stood by the windows of the office, looking out to see you and Will sitting in the chairs down the hall. Will was reading a comic and you were listening to your walkman, which Joyce noticed you had begun to carry with you everywhere.
She was worried. How could she not be? You were her granddaughter who wouldn’t be born for a long time, whose mental health seemed to be spiraling down the drain. She’d noticed the amount of caffeine you drank, how your concealer couldn’t hide the bags under your eyes. It was impossible to not notice how awkward you acted around Will.
Joyce and Hopper were just waiting for Owens to come back with whatever the test results to say. They’d taken you away for hours, and since you’d gotten back, you hadn’t spoken to anyone. You just listened to your music and stared off into space.
“I’m sure she’s fine.” Hopper spoke up from his seat in front of Owens’ desk, where you’d previously been sitting. He’d been out in the hall with Will until they took you for testing, not allowing either of them back with you.
Joyce looked back at Hopper and gave an unsure nod. Looking back to the hall where the two of you sat, she saw Will showing you the pages of his comic. She could see the similarities between you two. The way your brows furrowed when listening to something and concentrating were the same, and the little nervous tick that Will had of picking at his jeans while sitting down, also seemed to be your own nervous tick. She’d noticed how’d you been doing it when Hopper opened the car door for you when they got to the lab, and when you’d been in the office.
“What do you thinks wrong?”
“What?”
“Joyce,” Hopper started. “It’s obvious that you think something’s wrong.”
She sighed and crossed her arms, walking away from the window and sitting in the seat next to him. “I don’t know. I just have a weird feeling whenever I look at her. Like she- she’s my family, she’s my granddaughter, technically. But there’s something else to her. . . She reminds me a bit of Eleven.” She admitted.
Something about you reminded her of the girl. But it was only until recently when she was able to place it. Over a month after the events of early November. Something about the air surrounding you made it hard not to be reminded of the twelve year old.
Before Hopper can say anything, the door opened and Owens walked in, a confused look on his face while he walked the short distance from the door to his seat on the other side of the desk.
“There’s nothing wrong with her.” is what he started with, looking confused while he opened the folder he’d carried in. “Brain scan came back normal, her psych evaluation was normal, everything about her, except for the situation she’s in, is normal.”
Hopper tilted his head a bit, not quite understanding. They pulled you away for hours, leaving the three of them completely in the dark, only to say that you were fine? Even though you said you heard voices, and saw things in your sleep.
“I’m sorry?” Hopper questioned.
“The most we can say is that she has PTSD, and with what little we know about it, she can have flashbacks, and auditory flashbacks aren’t out of the picture. She might just be hearing things she’s heard before.”
“Yeah, but she said she heard a woman she’s never heard before?” Joyce looked to Hopper before back at Owens who shrugged a bit.
“Probably a teacher she mostly forgot about. It could be a repressed memory. Or it could be the voice of a babysitter she just doesn’t remember.”
While that would make sense, considering you said the woman would sometimes sing, Joyce didn’t buy it. You said that Will stayed home while you were growing up. Working from home so he could keep an eye on you, and so you always had someone. It wouldn’t make sense for you to have had a babysitter.
Hopper thought it was suspicious, with the confused look Owens had on his face before giving an answer he seemed sure about. It didn’t settle right with him. He was sure Owens was just giving an answer they’d want to hear.
“Just be patient with her. I’m going have someone prescribe her sleeping pills so she can get some sleep-”
Hopper blocked out what he was saying, because the truth was, he had the same thoughts on you as Joyce. You oddly reminded him of Eleven as well and he didn’t believe a single thing that Owens was saying
