"MOST CODEPENDENT BITCHES ON EARTH" WAS PRACTICALLY MADE FOR THEM (as you could witness it in our reading sessions, god, you are an ANGEL FOR READING WITH ME!) and fits them like a glove. The canon material just provides so MUCH CONTENT FOR THEM already that I feel so well fed.

THE SHEER DEDICATION TOWARDS EACH OTHER, THEY CARE SO RIDICULOUSLY MUCH. THEY HAD TO SPEND A FEW WEEKS NOT PLAYING (NOT APART!!! JUST LIKE!! NOT PLAYING TOGETHER!!!) AS A BATTERY AND YET EVERY SECOND YOU COULD TELL THEY WANTED TO BE PLAYING TOGETHER. THEY ARE RIDICULOUS (already stupid enough on their own, no need for me to change anything there)!!!

ABE TAKAYA WHO CARES SO MUCH BUT ALSO CARRIES SO MUCH HURT FROM HIS PAST, WHO IS SHIT AT COMMUNICATING AND NEEDS TO GET HIS HEAD OUT OF HIS ARSE YET TRYING HIS BEST AND MIHASHI REN WHO WAS BULLIED SO MUCH HE LOST EVEN THE LAST DROP OF HIS SELF-CONFIDENCE SLOWLY OPENING UP AGAIN AND ALSO LEARNING HOW TO COMMUNICATE AND SLOWLY GAINING CONFIDENCE AND GROWING SO MUCH AS A PERSON AND AS PART OF THE TEAM! MY!! HEART!!! I'M FERAL OVER THEM MIKH, FERAL!!! The way Abe needs to learn to TRUST MIHASHI and let him MAKE DECISIONS TOO, and see that respect IS IMPORTANT (MIHASHI BEING BETTER THAN ABE AT COOKING!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, SUCH AN IMPORTANT LITTLE MOMENT!!! MIHASHI BEING MORE COMPETENT THAN ABE AT SOMETHING!!!) BOTH WAYS, and a battery is not a one-sided BUT A TWO-WAY THING (NOT JUST ABE GIVING SIGNS AND MIHASHI DOING WHAT HE IS TOLD BUT ALSO MAKING A DECISION TOGETHER!!!) I'M CRYING- AND THEN THERE IS MIHASHI WHO NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO SPEAK HIS MIND ABOUT THINGS, WHO NEEDS TO LEARN THAT IT'S NOT JUST ABE THAT MAKES HIM AMAZING BUT HE IS PART OF THAT, IT'S NOT JUST ABE, IT'S HIM (AND THE WHOLE TEAM TOO!!! VERY IMPORTANT!!!) TOO, AND HE IS SOMEONE TO BE RELIED ON TOO, SEE tHAT HE is GOOD TOO!!

I'll be honest, their bond is just so deep and so very meaningful to me. I personally don't view them as romantic, instead I see them as one of the most precious queer platonic relationships. (The very fact that I view Abe as aromantic, thank you canon material, is a big part of this.)

Honestly, as we read we gush about them a lot (obviously), and I still feel I could still go on about them forever. Have one of my favourite moments with them, that I feel started them on the whole journey for becoming so much better, so much closer, CORE ABEMIHA MOMENT, BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT ONLY WERE VERY HONEST WITH EACH OTHER BUT ALSO SAW THAT THINGS CANNOT REMAIN THE SAME AND THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO A BATTERY THAN THEY'VE BEEN DOING SO FAR (MUTUAL!!!) AND ONE OF THE VERY FIRST MOMENTS ABE'S BRAIN SHUT DOWN (but who can blame him, Mihashi's smile IS PRECIOUS AND HE WORKED SO HARD FOR IT), IT'S JUST SO IMPORTANT TO ME!!

(But I was also so tempted to put the "But you are the one who cares about me the most" scene or the name calling scene here... It was a hard choice.)

II. Mihashi Ren - Tajima Yuuichirou

The Natural Braincell Share Duo

I'm going with TajiMiha next for a reason, which is the VERY FACT THAT IT'S THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF ABEMIHA. (Which I couldn't help but talk about in this post because I ADORE THE PARALLEL/CONNECTION SO MUCH.) So I'm sorry, I'll be talking about TajiMiha in relation to AbeMiha BC I'M OBSESSED WITH THEM.

Compared to Abe, Tajima has no problems communicating with Mihashi, they are on the same wavelength, TAJIMA IS LItERALLY THE tEAM'S MIHASHI tRANSLATOR, there is a mutual respect between them from almost the very start.

Tajima and Mihashi also seem to share other interests outside baseball, and non-interests too (Sir, they are SO STUPID, PLS tutoR thEM MORE).

While there is a solid foundation for AbeMiha battery that solely relies on Abe, TajiMiha battery WORKS TOGETHER FROM THE VERY START, MAKING DECISIONS TOGETHER, LEARNING TOGETHER, GOING THROUGH ThE PROCESS OF DECIDING THINGS, MAKING MISTAKES, ADJUSTING; TajiMiha having battery as equals, while AbeMiha being so ridiculously unbalanced at first (putting everything on Abe's shoulder).

Also the contrast between Tajima-Mihashi. Tajima, the star player with his natural talent, the very definition of Wild and Feral, always as bright as the fckin sun, loud and honest with his every feeling and thought, "he's got one mean presence" thought. Mihashi, the team's Ace (but thinking not by his own ability), lil anxiety birb who is afraid to say what he thinks but also having the loveliest of sunshine smiles if one takes the time to get to know him and ACCEPT HIM, "he's such a nice person" thought.

Tajima-Mihashi are so precious to me MIKH. SO PRECIOUS. The way they are just so COMFORtABLE WItH EACH OTHER. URGH. ALSO THE VERY FACT THAT TAJIMA IS A YOUNGEST BROTHER IN A BIG FAMILY BUT ALSO FEELS LIKE A BROTHER TO MIHASHI, IT'S PRECIOUS? ALSO SO READY TO PROTECT AND THROW HANDS FOR MIHASHI'S SAKE I'M!!! FERAL!!! AND THEN MIHASHI OUTRIGHT TELLING HIM THAT IT'S A MISUNDERSTANDING!!! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, ONE OF MY EVER FAVOURITE SCENES!!

III. Hanai Azusa - Tajima Yuuichirou

Yes, I'm going with them for the third round because basically, they are my main romantic ship (don't ask why, brain chemistry said so, and idk why). I'm SO ATTACHED TO THEM, THEY REALLY AFFECT AND INSPIRE EACH OTHER SO MUCH, CONSTANTLY MAKING ONE ANOTHER WORK HARD TO BETTER THEMSELVES AND CATCH UP TO ONE ANOTHER.

Tajima being the Force Of Nature that he is, the Natural Talent (not that he doesn't work hard! HE DOES!!! But also the very fact he only needs a few tries to achieve something! GOD! HE'S SO BRIGHT!!) and having so much CONFIDENCE IN HIMSELF TOO, BEING SUCH A RELIABLE PLAYER ON THE FIELD. And then you have Hanai: who can be so awkward, despite trying his hardest, still feeling like he is failing, feeling INADEQUATE NEXT TO TAJIMA, despite the fact that before Nishiura he thought of himself as a good player. Very reliable and responsible off field (TEAM CAPTAIN MATERIAL!!!!), but not feeling so next to Tajima, esp on the field. IT BREAKS AND HEALS ME.

AND THEN AS TIME MOVES ON HANAI BECOMES BETTER, MORE SURE OF HIMSELF. TAJIMA BECOMES MORE CONSCIOUS OF HIM. LIKE GOD LORD. IF YOU ASK WHO THEY ARE COMPETING AGAINST? THEY HAVE EACH OTHER AS THEIR IDEAL, AS THEIR RIVAL, I'M!!! FCKIN FERAL, MIKH!!!

HANAI "I DON'T LIKE MY NAME" AZUSA, FROM THE FIRST MOMENT HE SUSPECTS GIVEN NAMES ARE GOING TO BECOME A THING FOR THE TEAM, FREEZING UP AND PALING AND ABSOLUTELY FREAKING OUT BC HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE CALLED AZUSA, REFUSING TO SAY HIS OWN GIVEN NAME WHEN IT COMES UP, INSISTING ON BEING CALLED "HANAI", AND EVERY TIME WHEN SOMEONE SAYS "AZUSA" YOU CAN SEE HIM DYING A LITTLE INSIDE, ONLY TO SAY IT OUT LOUD THAT HE DISLIKES HIS OWN NAME (discreetly to a couple of his teammates only, INCLUDING TAJIMA), FOR TAJIMA TO CATCH ON HE DIDN'T WANT TO COME TO TRAINING AT THE TAJIMAS' BC OF THE NAME CALLING THING, AND THEN ONLY FOR TAJIMA TO BE LIKE "OK I'LL TELL EVERYONE NOT TO CALL YOU AZUSA", WHICH LEADS TO HANAI "AWKWARD AND EMBARRASSED" AZUSA TO DIE MORE INSIDE. REST IN PIECES SON. (THIS BIT IS SO IMPORTANT TO ME, I'M RAMBLING, I'M SORRY. TRAINING AT THE TAJIMAS' IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE ARCS IN THE WHOLE OF OOFURI.)

Already went through the whole ship tag, both on AO3 and FF.net and i'm dead inside. (oh why OH WHY IS OOFURI AND A SMALL FANDOM IN WESTERN PARTS!!! WHY IS TAJIHANA A FAIRLY RARE SHIP!!! A CRIME, YOUR HONOUR, A CRIME!!! I'm still digging around for more fics, but those 2 sources are out now. *cries tears of blood*)

Hanai's whole Internal Crisis during the Nishiura VS Sakitama game? IT HAS MY HEART, I LOVE MY BOY SO SO SO MUCH. (Not to mention the little moments you can see how big a crush he has on Tajima. Everyone has a bit of a crush on Tajima Yuuichirou, but Hanai's is the biggest. God, bless his heart.)

I'll be honest. I wanted to include like... *checks* 6 different scenes (some a few pages long) for TajiHana. But I'm trying to limit myself bc 30 pic/Post limit so. *coughs* I'm only leaving these 2 here (A side and B side, if you will). (Also, sorry for the mild spoiler, bear with me.)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM MIKH. THEY ARE SO RIDICULOUS, SO ENDEARING, SO STUPID, and definitely in a relationship (is it just friendship? is it romantic? is it the Annoyer and Annoyed? who knows, but THEY ARE DEFINITELY TELEPATHICALLY CONNECTED AND IN A RELATIONSHIP).

God, Haruna wanting Akimaru to be as serious about baseball as the rest of the team, TO BE ON THE SAME PAGE ABOUT IT AS HIMSELF, IT HAS ME SHAKING, HE CARES SO VERY MUCH, and the next second he kicks and smacks him (LOVE LANGUAGE, IT'S HARUNA'S LOVE LANGUAGE!!), God, GOD.

Akimaru, who is so very laid-back (at FIRST, WE ARE CURRENTLY READING THE TURNING POINT MATCH MIKH CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT INCOMING!!!), only was there to help Haruna out, only to start THINKING later on, after he sees how much Haruna CARES, how the TEAM CARES, IT'S SO DELICIOUS!!

Akimaru is a Good Guy, really, I love how he sucks at baseball outside catching Haruna's pitches (for the time being), but he is SUCH A CASUALLY NICE PERSON, and the way he can so easily get on Haruna's nerves is one of my favourite things, YET ALSO REMINDING HARUNA OF THINGS HE FORGETS!!!

Haruna caring so much that he CAN GET ANNOYED AT THE SMALLEST OF THINGS WHEN IT COMES TO AKIMARU, I LOVE AN IDIOT, WHO FORGETS SHIT SO MUCH.

TO BRING BACK SOMETHING NICE FROM OUR READING: THEY ARE JUST SO STUPID, MIKH, I LOVE THEM-

V. Haruna Motoki - Mihashi Ren

Abe's Ex-Pitcher and Current-Pitcher

Not much to check here, but, but... I really love their dynamics. Obviously, the connecting points for them are 1) Abe and 2) Pitching.

I absolutely love what a different perception they have of each other! From the first moment, Mihashi thinking that Haruna is awesome (despite everything Abe says about him), even sort of having him as his goal as a pitcher, and Haruna looking down on the weird lil guy, talking about dichotomy LMAO

Only for it to be not Looking Down as time moves on (and interactions happen) and a sort of more Realistic admiration on Mihashi's part. (HE COULD GO AGAINST HARUNA IN A WAY!)

THEIR INTERACTIONS ARE SO UTTERLY FUNNY AND RIDICULOUS, I LOVE THEM!

VI. Abe Takaya -Haruna Motoki

The Bitter Exes TM

I cannot believe my FIRST BINGO TURNED OUT TO BE "HE'S THE WORST PITCHER" AND "HE HAS A NASTY PERSONALITY" DUO, HOLY SHIT-

As we already established it at our lil Oofuri talks: They Are The Bitter Exes (bless you Mikh). Even if (usually) I don't see them in a romantic context, they are still Exes TM. (Ex-Friends surely exist too, right? And so Ex-Battery Mates.) And they totally didn't end well. And totally stupid and fcked up.

The very fact that they have such vastly different opinions of each other, all based on their perceptions and misunderstandings, just makes this dynamic so layered and delicious. All the hurt Abe is carrying with him EVEN NOW, while Haruna is like "Oh, you talkin' about that!"

The fact that Abe cannot help but COMPARE all pitchers to Haruna, being so affected by the experiences, that he cannot let go of Haruna in a way (which is also a backwards way to say he cared and respected him so much that the BETRAYAL hurt him so much, it wounded him for, if not life, but even till the current timeline).

While for Haruna, Abe's presence and perseverance actually helped him so much through his hardships when he was injured.

AND THEN THEY FINALLY TALKED ABOUT IT, AND THEY BOTH HAD TO REALIZE THAT THEY WERE SO WRONG ABOUT SHIT, I'M IN TEARS, MA'AM-

Moving on from this section, I could put the whole conversation they had in here bc GOD THAT WAS SO GOOD, SO NEEDED, SO BEAUTIFUL, but have only these 2 pages to save space.

VII. Abe Takaya - Haruna Motoki - Mihashi Ren

The Old Battery and The New Battery

I LOVE THESE 3 TOGETHER, THEY ARE JUST SO SILLY TOGETHER, and I already talked about them separately, so imagine all of that put into one bowl AND MIXED.

Abe's complicated feelings towards Haruna, his hardworking personality, how his bond with Mihashi is so very different from Haruna's.

Mihashi's admiration for both Abe and Haruna, and wanting them to get along because he SEES HOW MUCH ABE HAS BEEN HURT, and seeing that he still CARES about Haruna.

Haruna, thanks to his current team, being in much better spirits, and admitting he was at fault too (and that he was also in a bad place, but that didn't make what he did ok!), appreciating Abe in his own way.

And yet Abe and Haruna still just going "he's the worst control" or "he'S NASTY" IT'S HILARIOUS, while Mihashi is there "They are amazing!"

No particular scene comes to mind (aside the ones I shared in the HaruMiha section) for these 3, no caps this time.

a/n: aight guys I’m not dead! i haven’t really had the time to write much, but aaron tveit lives in my heart rent free so here’s these dumb kinda specific really long headcanons:

so you both probably met pretty early into aaron’s career

it’s probably safe to say both of you would have the same if not similar careers, broadway and acting

and though aaron was lucky enough to get his big break, you had unfortunately not (yet) and had to wait tables for a couple years after college

you worked at a restaurant close to the theatre district after undergrad and aaron was starring in Hairspray

the boy saw you and was w h i p p e d

would come to the restaurant like 4 days a week

kinda creeped you out ngl

finally got the balls to actually start a conversation and boom: instant friends

and you guys were friends for a while! dumbass and chaotic conversation was a YES

you first caught feelings when aaron invited you to see him as Fiyero in Wicked

he first saw you prepared to throw hands with ronins who were being Elite Dickheads. ofc, armed with nothing compared to the sworded-adults, he had to interfere.

no matter how cold he treated you, masking his secret !!!-like concern, you seemed so unfazed through it. you still interacted with him like normal,,,,, why?? do you want a death wish?

and each time he threatened you with,, anything, you responded with, “the only one who gets to hurt & kill me, is ME”

...... what?

he’s convinced you’re the biggest fool of a person. and he’d be right but even so, he has a weirdly strong need to protect you as you two got closer. you’re often with sasuke, so it’s harder to avoid you.

even with all the Horrible jokes you make on a daily basis, if your passionate side with everyone having equal rights of being treated as human, for him it shows a side of you that makes you seem precious and pure and kind hearted.

and the overprotective side increases.

which is, ,, a bit problematic sometimes cause you have the tendency to target and piss off anyone in a 10 meter range by just one (1) sassy comment, along with your lack of impulse control and blurting out everything in your mind. it’s made you a lot of short enemies in the sengoku period, and kenshin would always be ready to slice them down behind you.

sasuke has to tame him down with his Masters degree in kenshin-wrangling.

at banquets, kenshin would often have you beside him. if you’re too young for sake do age for drinking exist in sengoku? probably not. it’s more of sasuke advising for him to not give you alcoholic drinks he’ll have you pouring for him or just munching away at pickled plums or food.

—shingen:

(ngl i kinda had a hard time with this since it’s erasing a big part of his overall character,,, flirting)

once he heard the news that oda had taken in somone as young as you during honno-ji,, ,,,he’s in a very “how dare that demon >>:( taking such a pure soul,....”

and when you’re taken to kasugayama as a captive, you’re,,, surprisingly very calm and whelmed. you don’t have much sign of fear or anxiety in your overall demeanor meanwhile you’re busy dissociating and spacing out to feel those

you actually don’t seem to hate your captor. but shingen isn’t sure if your ‘fingerguns’ is a good thing or not cause it depicts you pointing guns @ him,, (dw is good shingen)

while yes being held hostage—no matter how good you’re being treated—isn’t ideal and kinda not very cash money, you consider shingen v chill. man has a kindheart!! “i diagnose you with good vibes.”

if he ever sees your righteous side, as everyone else, he’ll deeply admire you. he himself is someone who believes in such as well. and hearing the circumstances in the modern world regarding those things (blm, etc.) his heart truly does go out for you. he feels sympathy for such a young person like you having to take action

also your dirty humor around him, echigo’s player, kind of makes him question where and how you learnt it

and,, his illness.

through getting straight to the point and not falling for it each time he changes subject/dodges the question, you managed to get to the bottom of his illness. shingen himself thinks it’s not something you have to burden with knowing—you’re so, so young.

but that doesn’t matter to you. the world’s given you such a shit time, you’re mature enough to understand the situation at least.

and as he finishes his explanation, all there was is silence. it felt wrong to say any of your usual quips,, so all you did was slowly came there and hugged him.

that was more than what he’d ask for.

—sasuke:

oh hell yeah

you are in your element with him. the chillest guy to talk to, and probably the first one you’re the closest to

your phone was dead after like 2 days of use, and you were miserable while hideyoshi, like a typical parent, told you to go outside and into town. sensing your bad mood, sasuke asked what’s up. you deadpanned, “my phone game ended and now i’m ready to commit not breath.” you oslemnly look out in the bustling streets and clutched your fist like an Anime Protagonist, “those boomer memes were right all along... i am absolutely Miserable and Useless(^TM) without it.”

in response, you could’ve sworn he did the Anime Glasses thing as well, “then we at team Moderately Awesome Sengoku Ninja are happy to announce the launch of a DIY phone charger, made with the electricity from a fruit and the main functionality of a solar panel. and has more durability than samsung’s.”

there were Stars in your eyes now. with a big grin, you thank him, “i’d die for you, sasuke.”

“then perish.” he said with a blank look. (yukimura, in the bg: ???!!!??!??!?)

the next day he consentually breaks in through the ceiling and gives you the weird contraption. you’re now saved, soul-wise.

the memes start coming and they don’t stop coming from the two of you. in any situation. whether it’d be at a teahouse, or at a battlefield that can determine your life and death.

and you can have discussions about current world events, or the past ones, with him and he’d understand completely what you’re talking about. it’s those rare nights when you’ve been thinking and have a deep conversation with him in his room, and as an adult, it makes for interesting results as well.

the others are endlessly confused, but you’re both so unapologetically yourselves.

and he’s super protective if the circumstances are tough. he feels bad for dragging another person in the sengoku with him—much less when they’re so young like you.

if you’re enough of a lil shit, once you’re taken into kasugayama, in the nights where you can’t sleep because brain at what would be 3 am, you’d probably trudge over to his room and wake him up to tell him what kind of mind-blowing shit you realized.

when he saved you from falling to your death, your reaction already set off weird Vibes inside him. what do you mean, “you stopped me from fleeing this fleeting world by the sweet embrace of death” ?!?!?! are you crazy?? yes

he doesn’t waste time getting blunt with you at all either.

once he goes into azuchi as a merchant, he silently observes you talking to sasuke for a bit. what’s with your weird language?? and crude humor???? never in his life has he met someone in your age act like that wtf

even so, he still operates on the basis of ‘‘if sasuke trusts you, i trust you’’, no matter how utterly concerned you make him feel

you have a dirtier mind than him! unsurprisingly. along with everyone else, you often tease the poor soul, a nd you’d gladly tell him what the innuendoes mean ( 69, etc.) and maybe sprinkle in some gay jokes in there

and why do you keep mentioning this “bromance between him and sasuke” ?? what us,,, a bromance????? and why is sasuke in it??

he takes you out to teahouses to eat chestnut dumplings and other desserts with you. you always seem to target the one he doesn’t like the most and have a bit of banter

your relationship is built on banter but what’s different rlly

he treats you much more maturely than other people your age. as in, he doesn’t pull back his punches in words most of the time. you don’t seem to around him also, it looks like.

and, he’s also very protective of you. he regards you as his little sibling, as rat as you may be. and he does care about you—he might just be a bit unwilling to say it

you think he’s very chill, if a bit unique but who were you to judge. and he is, if you ever meet him in echigo or even azuchi

his big liking to art and something of apathy to people is osmething you can respect. there’s something about that kind of Vibe that you find oddly a mood.

and oh boy oh boy you wasted no time pulling up your phone and showing images of what art is in the future. whether it’d be a screenshot of anime, fanart, aesthetic-like ones, palette-themed—the whole shabang. 

and, somehow, you were left ranting to him  about how some artists in the future get it so shitty for theft, reposting, not crediting, the list goes on (please be a decent human being to artist, sincerely the author) and he can’t help but just listen in silence and kind of thinking about how you’re so passionate about the Struggles of artists. and it isn’t something he sees often in the sengoku era—where war rules most things.

and he does find art from the modern times interesting, how they’re so different and vast in styles. and not only that, it’s not like the future only has one major style like then, each hand can draw such different pictures and still have beauty in each. he appreciates and admires that.

and he does tell you his thoughts ^ while you give your own insight. it’s so fascinating to see someone like you having strong opinions on this.

because, well, rn art is a big thing in our lives as we’re stuck inside. a part of entertainment is looking at any media of art—and he finds his view of art and yours quite the same. you two came from a time of turmoil (one moreso than the other) but still think art isn’t exactly irrelevant just because it isn’t a cure to diseases or the Ultimate Weapon.

you had to Surgically Remove him from your phone so you can use it and to stop him from draining your battery looking at the art

and he often drags you out to town and admire pieces when you’re holing yourself in too much. your comments are always unknown to him, “radical”, “that’s one i can vibe with ngl”, and the list goes on.

when you first saw him at honno-ji, and he won’t forget the one (1) line you gave him, all you said to his warning of ooo spooky demons was, “that’s lit fam gtg tho”

and that alone was enough to stun him for a few seconds

honestly you told the others of your meeting with kennyo before they told you it could be kennyo. just a throaway line of “oh yeah there was this dude with a scar across his face.” / “,,, ,....that’s kennyo. he’s really dangerous actually—” / “oh, poggers”

you’re probably kind of half the reason the oda forces found who dun it.

and it was an eye for an eye, kennyo himself found out that you were their child chatelaine, and very close to the others. as per his villain-schedule, he kidnaps you .

he laments about how “such a pure soul such as yours is not to be stained by the demon’s hands”

oh how Wrong he was.

you were the definition of the opposite of pure. and you seemed unfazed, which surprised kennyo but shrugged it off. he was willing to face you screaming and panicking, along with shouldering the sin of doing the deed. but instead, he was met with a raised eyebrow and, “this is unexpected and probably not welcomed but what am i doing here.”

he was stunned for a moment before explaining what he can. 

“......... fuck.”

he cringed ever so slightly at your curse. but your attention seems to stray so quickly off of the fact that you were bounded and helpless, to the fact that you have the man doing unspeakable things to civilians and you absolutely don’t approve.

throwing your common sense to maybe be civilized, you went off on a rant of how human rights and how to not be an ass to him. all he could do was just listened, shocked to even cut you off.

when he did, he gave the whole ‘unsaved demon’ shtick, and you weren’t taking that kinda shit. he believed he was truly unsaved—you knew that. but that doesn’t make it okay.

eventually, he left you with a cold end of the conversation.

he admires your spirit in a way—but with what he’s experienced,,, it’s a bit of unreachable for him.

if at any point you saw the soft side of his with animals, you just gaped at him for a split second and whispered, “the gap moe is strong with this one.”

motonari already knew you were interesting even when his men just spied on you. your behavior, so brash and impulsive, is going to be so fun to have, he thinks.

through some planning to stir up more chaos, he kidnaps you and brings you unto his ship. same as kennyo, you showed no clear sign of surprise, and that’s when he decided you were either used to this in any way, or a fool. both answers, he liked.

you’re kind of really confused on why he’s doing what he’d doing. “i get it, i like to stir up chaos myself but it’s harmless,, most of it—but not until the people are in danger, bitch.”

and by that line, motonari leans towards you with a deadly smirk, “now, i can bite, ‘kay kid? you don’t wanna be in the receiving end... do you?”

“do it, coward.”

and before he could let out even a wheeze of laughter, you continued on on a lecture of, again, not being a dick and letting people live their life in peace. and much less all of this damage, for what? chaos?? yeah you wanted to see the world burn but it wasn’t literally.

however, his patience was running thin. he shuts you up forcefully, and leaves.

even so, after a cooldown period, he still talks to you (,,,, well, that’s kind of a generous term) because, right he was, you were so fun in his eyes.

an interesting observation he made,,, was that you picked up on his big dislike of physical contact. and he’d think with how annoying you were at times, that you’d weaponize it. but you didn’t—in fact, you kept your space (not that you were planning to get close) and respected his boundaries.

he thinks you a bit of peculiar for that decision, some wary, and perhaps naive.

one of the days—the more dangerous ones—he was planning to take you to the oda as bait or something. and you weren’t taking it like that. two days before arrival, a storm racked up. you stood upon the edge of the ship with the rest of the crew watching you like you were a madman.

“the oda won’t want me if i’m dead, would they now?”

motonari stands in his composure, guffawing, “all i need is to make sure they believe you’re alive, kid.”

a smile that showed absolutely no fear and 1000 percent spite spread in your face, “not unless i decimate my own body until all the trail left is my blood. the only one who gets to do that shit to me, is me.”

finally, a look of wavering shows in his face.

Rom-com anon here, finally crawling out the depth of finals induced insanity I’ve been lurking in for like three weeks! And today as I wait for an oil change here comes our TakaRitsu topic of the day for the Rom-com slice of life au as I celebrate my three month freedom: Summer Vacation Part 1 (There will be more of this, I promise)

Please take a moment to consider, dear wife, all the possibilities for summer vacation events TakaRitsu could’ve had over the past ten years.

Takano and Ritsu go to the beach, which ends up being less fun in the sun as it is Takano being thirsty for a shirtless Ritsu in a bathing suit and Ritsu being a flustered mess who wants everything to be perfect because this is his first trip with Saga-senpai!! So we gain the adorable shenanigans of Ritsu trying to make this the best trip ever that they’ll always remember and Takano would literally die happy if he just got to spend the entire trip in bed with Ritsu, pleasuring and spoiling him and also handfeeding him chips while reading because they are both booknerds who definitely bring things to read while on a trip.

And then imagine them going to a summer festival! Ritsu, precious little rich boy he is, definitely wears a yukata and Takano’s heart just melts at the sight. And then go through and Takano is definitely showing off during the games to impress Ritsu and win every possible prize he can. They’re a lowkey menace to all the stalls and they will be remembered. And then Takano has Ritsu try all the delicious foods he was probably barely allowed growing up (if this boy had never had fast food prior to his first date with Saga, I’m pretty sure festival food was on very thin ice, if he even went to one in the first place, I’m debating on what his parents would be inclined to here) and just watches with a soft smile as Ritsu cheerfully tries everything and gushes over all the games Takano won and becomes a flustered mess over all the prizes Takano gives him and it’s such a pure, sweet moment of realizing how much he loves his pampered little rich boyfriend.

Then Takano gets horny and starts thinking about having sex with Ritsu in a yukata and then during the fireworks festival they are so much watching as they are making love in a secluded area while hoping the sound of the fire works will cover up all the noise they make. But then Ritsu’s yukata gets all messed up and neither of them no how to fix it, and so Takano has to carry Ritsu back on his back as they both desperately pray nobody noticed what’s going on because they a share a braincell you’re honor.

Just TakaRitsu’s first summer vacation together being madly in love with Ritsu being adorable and Takano being a very thirsty man.

Damn, Rom Com Anon my beloved, back at it again with the scenarios that are making me cry. Your mind is literally so huge, I am in awe of your awesome fluff powers, I am incapable of thinking/writing anything but hurt/comfort for them, I owe you my life for this beautiful world where nothing hurts. I am laughing hysterically at Saga valienty trying to control his thirst for Swimsuit Ritsu (and failing miserably because he is a weak man, amen.) Ritsu trying so hard to plan everything out like the Best Place To Sit and What Towels To Bring because obviously those are the most important things to worry about, and I need some hiccups to happen and Ritsu to Internally Scream because 'Oh no everything is going wrong Saga-senpai must think I'm so lame' but then they just goof around and play in the water and sit and read together and ritsu falls asleep and Saga Is In Love but he also hurries Ritsu in the sand and Ritsu wakes up and yells at him and Saga dies of laughter, please this is very important to me. (Also, because I'm a pale ass Bitch, Ritsu turns into a Lobster and needs at least two bottles of aloe vera, no this is not negotiable) and EVERYTHING about the summer festival is perfect and I'm actually sobbing, they're so stupid and dumb and in love and they absolutely do share a braincell and please consider:

UM... firstly hello hi, I’m still alive ━ how are all you lovely angels doing?

SECONDLY 😳😳😳 WE’VE SURVIVED THIS CURSED YEAR OF 2020! And what better way for me to end on a milestone note, I’m still processing this and I don’t really have the words right now to really say a huge THANK YOU to each and every person who’s visited my ghost town of a blog, left encouraging notes, read my works, have mini convos and just have been very supporting & welcoming when I first started on here. 

A few shout-outs to the few who have grown to be really precious to me during my almost 1-year stay here:

Who We Used To Be (Ray/Rose/Trevor)

As told by myself and @thesevenumbrellas tag teaming the whump in the 18+ JatP discord. Sev I swear we operate on the same braincell levels, we do be clowning. @bobbywilsonsupremacy  let us know what you think of this! I know you and I both hardcore ship Raybse.

We wrote this in a discord server over the time span of hours so there’s some mistakes but i’m too lazy to go back and fix it all. Basically we tag teamed on a Raybse Trevor Wilson-centric whump story and can destroy a fandom with a single touch.

(Ren) Okay so if we're gonna be starting at 90's ot3 my children ray/bobby/Rose know that Ray is a panic bi and loves both of these humans very much with his whole ass heart.

(Ren) He takes pictures of his girlfriend and boyfriend while they’re on dates because he wants to capture the moments he was happy the most. Bobby always shed away from the camera burying his face in Rose's shoulder or leaning in for a kiss. Anyways as time goes by Ray notices Bobby's change in behavior. From being his go-happy-trauma boyf to being caught up in the music scene, often out at all hours to parties and label meetings only to come to to sleep on the couch, not even sharing the bed like he used to. It reminds Ray of the time when Bobby was grieving his boys. Ray hates it, but he loves bobby so he pushes his feelings aside to try and arrange more dates for the three of them to go on together.

(Sev) Ray waking up to only Rose in the bed and not Bobby, and it feels too cold in bed without him. So he'll try to call him, because it's 3am and he's supposed to be home and he's not. And Ray remembers what happened to Bobby's bandmates, and he can't admit it out loud but he's worried. Because what if that happens to Bobby? He knows it was a freak accident! What are the odds of it happening again?? But he can't shake that feeling when Bobby doesn't come home at night and Ray stays up all night worrying. Anyway he tries to call Bobby and Bobby doesn't answer. He'll leave loads of voicemails, trying not to be pushy because he knows Bobby doesn't respond well to that. But he's worried. He'll say "hey please call me when you get this." and then ten minutes later try again "hey just text me that you're safe okay?" He can't sleep because Bobby still isn't home. It's 5am. He has to go to work in two hours. Rose keeps telling him to go to bed but he can't.[2:58 PM]Bobby finally texts back. "I'm okay! Was playing with some friends, the gig went over time and then we went to  party." Ray wants to be angry because seriously? No phone calls because he was at a party? But he knows that'll just push Bobby away more!

(Ren) And so Ray has all of these festering emotions that boil down to worry and concern at the core but he's just so scared hes losing Bobby cause he never really had his own family to begin with and then one day when Ray comes home early from a photoshoot he can hear Bobby and Rose fighting over Bobby signing the contract that says he wrote Luke's songs but Ray just hears yelling before he even opens the door with his name thrown into the mix and then he gets even more scared because what if he loses Rose and Bobby? if he lost both of them he'd be destroyed. So he doesnt knock. He doesnt go home. Instead he walks around the city until he was supposed to go home originally and he opens the door and there's a sort of eerie silence in the air.

(Sev) Trevor’s unable to shake the feeling that something terrible will happen to Rose and Ray because he's with them. His entire family were killed in 1 night because he wasn't there with them. So at first he's clingy as fuck to Rose and Ray because what if something bad happens when he's not there? What if what if what if... But as time goes on the thinking flips. Maybe it's the music industry that's the problem. It's these weird connections in his head of if he's too successful, bad things might happen. But he can't quit music like that, he can't give up on Luke's dream. He owes his boys to become successful. So instead he distances himself from Rose and Ray. That way they won't be caught up in whatever bad thing is going to happen to him. He distances himself and he waits for it all to drop. He waits for the universe to punish him again.

(Ren) And the universe punishes Bobby when the tension between him and Rose tightens so much he knows there's no going back from it but he's not admitting to stealing the songs because he didn't. He helped Luke write all of the songs more than Alex and Reggie ever did, staying up late with Luke after fights with his mom and Bobby didn’t want Luke to be alone so yeah, he wrote the songs. Maybe not as much as he claimed but he sure as hell made sure his brother wasn’t alone so that counted for something right? And it did. Until Rose kicks him out of bed because she's pissed he'd even consider stealing music and he cant tell Ray because of the NDA the label got him to sign at a party when he was drunk and the only reason Rose knows about it is because she was there when he signed the damn thing and so Bobby pulls away from Ray because isnt it going to be easier in the long run? If he doesn’t attach himself to Ray who'll just get angry at him like Rose did?

(Sev) It's the guilt that grows inside of him every passing day. They're my songs too he tells himself over and over again. But during the dark nights, three glasses of whisky in when the world is getting hazy... even he can't believe the lies he tells himself. He fucked up Sunset Curve. He fucked up his friends' memories. And now he fucked up the only good thing he'd ever had. Ray texts him nonstop. He doesn't understand why Rose kicked Bobby out and he doesn't understand why Bobby listened. Bobby can't take Ray away from Rose. He's fucked up and a terrible person, but even he can't do that. He doesn't give Ray his new address. He refuses to meet up even for Ray to give him his stuff back. All Bobby can do is hold onto Ray's sweatshirt he stole away and a bottle of perfume the same brand Rose always wears. He cradles these things in his arms and cries.

(Ren) And that's the last he sees of Ray for all of 5 years, 20yr old puppy-dog eyed loving precious ray who Bobby would run to the second Rose says its okay. But rose never does. And then Bobby meets a cute blonde and six months later the barista shows up on his doorstep shoving Carrie into his arms calling her a bastard child. Carrie is not a bastard child Carrie is his and he loves her the second he sets eyes on her and so Bobby turns into Trevor when the new year rolls around and he starts his own album. It doesn’t do as well as Luke's his first album did but it was his. And then one day Trevor signs Carrie up for dance because Trisha from first grade made fun of her for not being able to do the splits and on the way out of the dance studio Trevor bumps into Ray, a terrified looking girl clutched to his leg. Carrie doesn't miss a beat. "Hi! I'm Carrie let's be friends!" and Carrie drags Ray's daughter off and Trevor shifts awkwardly and is suddenly 17 again but Ray's eyes still twinkle like the did when they were kids and he's still wearing eyeliner so Trevor almost missed it when a flicker of recognition crosses Ray’s face and a smile quirks at the corners of his lips and he says, "hi im Ray, thats my daughter Julie. Wanna go out for a drink?" With that same mischievous glint in his eye that made Bobby fall in love with him in the first place.

(Sev) Trevor almost stops breathing. He should say no. He knows he should say no. He's an awful person. He doesn't deserve someone like Ray. He never deserved either of them. He knows that. But can't force himself to say no. Maybe it's the twinkle in Ray's eyes. Maybe it's the soul crushing loneliness he's felt ever since he left them. Or maybe it's the way Carrie and Julie are giggling in the corner like they've known each other all their lives. He says yes. The drink ends up at a family friendly restaurant with both the girls in tow.

(Ren) Rose shows up because Ray the asshole apparently texted her while he was in the car saying he met one of Julie's friend's parents and wanted to go out on a date (keeping things pg ofc) aklsdf. And when Rose does show up Trevor sees how... sick she looks. How much paler she looked than she did all those years ago how - he still knew he loved her even if she still decided she hated him.

(Sev) The mood drops quickly. Trevor wants to ask about Rose, but not in front of the kids. Ray wants to ask about their past, but not in front of the kids. Rose... Rose who holds all the answers... doesn't know where to start first. She had never regretted not telling Ray the truth. She never wanted to change Ray's perception of Bobby like that. Ray who looked at their boyfriend as if he'd hung the moon. Ray who stayed up worrying all night until Bobby came home. Ray who held Bobby through countless nightmares... But that makes the truth staring them in the face so much harder. Because she never gave Ray the choice. She realized that a few years too late after she catches Ray staring at old pictures of Bobby in their photo albums. She'd made the choice for him. And then there's Trevor... still beautiful, staring at her with so much concern her heart breaks all over again.

(Ren) The tension doesn't fly over Carrie's head like he hoped it would, she talks to Julie about My Little Pony and Pokemon and High School Musical and their mutual hatred for Trisha from school but Carrie's hand never lets go of his and he finally plucks up the courage and stretches his arm out and says "we're vegetarian for the most part, hope that's okay." And a smile quirks at the corner of her lips and she asks "for the most part?" and Trevor nods and Carrie pipes up from her seat saying "daddy hates hot dogs,” in that blatant fact kind of way kids say things without realizing how problematic it could be. It wasn’t her fault though, Trevor has yet to tell her about her uncles, about how he was in a band, about how they were going to be legends.

(Sev) Rose and Ray both freeze at Carrie's voice. He doesn't know if the girls notice, because he's too busy trying to fight back the panic in his throat. It's been a long time since anyone had brought up ... what happened. It's easy to pretend it didn't happen when his name is Trevor and no one knows him. But these two people know him. They know him more than anyone else ever has. Even the boys. The truth hits him hard at that moment. A truth he'd been avoiding for almost two decades. Ray and Rose know him better than even he knew himself. Maybe that was why Rose had been so furious with him, or why Ray continued to chase after him even months after he moved out. Trevor hides the building panic and sudden realization with a smile. "What an I say," he said as causally as he can. "I'm a picky eater." A few hours later they end up back at the Molina's house. Bobby has no idea how it happened. -No, Trevor has no idea how it happened, he scolds himself. He's Trevor. He has to be Trevor. Trevor got him this far, Trevor made the difficult choices. Bobby was the one who got his friends kill and destroyed the best relationship he ever had. Still, it becomes harder and harder to remind himself of that. To stop himself from slipping into the comfortable shoes of Bobby, boyfriend of Ray and Rose as if the past 17 years had never happened. He finds himself on their sofa, a sofa that brings back memories both good and bad... he finds himself in a familiar home, his old studio just a short walk away, his ex's giggling in the kitchen as they make his coffee the way he's always liked it without asking for a reminder.

(Ren) Trevor can remember the day he stopped drinking the coffee Ray made for him, the morning after his first fight with Rose, when he wakes up cold because Rose basically cocooned herself around Ray's body, keeping her back turned to him and as much as he wanted to reach out to Ray, to hug him and comfort him and tell him it was all going to be okay... everything was too stuffy and too tense and deciding he just had to leave because he was going to suffocate otherwise.

(Sev) He should leave, just like last time. What was he even doing here? He should take Carrie and- Then Ray's in front of him, pushing a hot cup into is hands. "The girls are playing upstairs," he says. His voice is so calm, so understanding. "We don't have to talk if you don't want to." Trevor almost laughs. Because that's so like Ray. Almost a decade without answers and he's giving Trevor the option to ignore it all. To pretend like nothing ever happened. But he can't be that selfish again. So he shakes his head. "I'd... like to talk to you... to both of you."

(Ren) And then suddenly rose is eyeing him sus but he's been putting this off for to long and honestly fuck his label because they screwed him over one too many times for him to still even consider their relationship anything other than employee-client1[4:06 PM]and so Trevor takes a sip of Ray's coffee holy shit how did go so long without it?! and he explains it. he explains everything.

(Sev) Ray doesn't speak as Trevor explains. He never interrupts or even look surprised. His face is completely unreadable. He doesn't move until Trevor's done. And then once he is, he only stands up to start pacing the room. Trevor's oddly reminded of Alex as he does so,  and the memory is enough to make him flinch. "This... this is what you two have been hiding from me for so long?" he asked, voice brittle. "This is... this is what cost us... I mean..." But he can't finish. Ray just shakes his head, back to both Rose and Trevor.

(Ren) Suddenly he's seventeen again. Seventeen and a mess in Ray's arms burying his face into the man's chest finally feeling the weight of the world lift off of his shoulders and suddenly Rose is hugging him from behind, her too-skiny bone arms snaking around his chest and hugging him tightly threatening to never let him go saying "amour," and pressing a kiss to the back of his head, "amour we never stopped loving you."

(Sev)It's like no time has passed by the time he's done crying his eyes out. They're all huddled on a sofa that was always too small for three. Trevor's in the middle, clutching at them both as if they're going to disappear on him. Ray sits with his legs underneath them, his arms pulling the both of them into his chest. And then there's Rose, suddenly so much more delicate than Trevor remembers. She sits half on his lap, curled into them, her fingers knotted in his hair. "I can't believe you two kept this from me," Ray whispers. There's no anger. He doesn't think Ray's ever been capable of being angry. "I'm sorry," Trevor whispers, throat raw from tears. Ray answers with a firm kiss to his temple. "We wasted so much time..."

(Ren) Trevor just lays between them in their bed, nothing sexual and nothing tense it’s just them being together and Rose playing with his now-long hair, braiding it right down the middle despite it being too long for others to braid. Her fingers feel nice as they tug at his roots, familiar and a sense of calm washes over him. He lets ray fop on top of him like they used to, burying his head in his chest just listening to his heart beat, his steady constant breathing because Ray used to be afraid one day he'd wake up and Bobby would be dead too. Rose humming lightly, soft lullabies that chased away dark thoughts and Trevor just finds it so comforting, a feeling of home he hasn't had since the day he left and so he wraps his arms around Rose and Ray tight, promising himself he won't screw up his second time around.

(Sev) It's a few hours later when he speaks again. The girls are asleep in Julie's room (delighted at their surprise sleepover.) Ray's almost nodded off, head resting against Trevor's chest. But Rose is wide awake. She's laid out, tangled between them, eyes focused on something far away. He can see it more clearly now. The tremble in her hands, the way she's so still, the circles around her eyes. He takes her hand in his. "What is it?"

(Ren) And Trevor wants it to be a prank, he wants the sinking feeling in his gut twisting around his heart, the same feeling he had the morning of Sunset Curve's Orpheum performance coiling up his spine to go away. He wants everything to be okay, that he told the truth, that he was forgiven, that the universe was finally on his side for once but of course it's not because when has it ever been.  Rose's fingers run lightly over his knuckles and Ray wraps his arm around him from behind, his hands resting against Trevor's chest, something solid for him to focus on and as a tear starts to roll down Rose's cheek he reaches up to brush it away, running his hand through her hair only to pull out a clump as he pulled away but he couldn't run when his instincts to run kick in like they always used to do when situations turned emotional, bury it in his mind and lock up his worries like he always did but this wasn't going to be something he could run from.

(Sev) Life is not the fantasy or a fairy tale. There are no happy endings, only happy moments. He'd like to say they picked up right where they left off, Rose lived until a ripe old age, and they never fought again. But he'd be lying. It was hard to fold their lives back into place again, especially with Carrie and Julie. To just pick up after their seventeen year old selves was an impossible dream. But they could do breakfast. And breakfast became dinner. Dinner became one date which became two which became many. It took trouble and care, but they slotted themselves back into each other's lives again. There were lunch dates, and movie nights. There were late night wine dates and early morning coffee dates. They found their happy moments. A decade of separation had smoothed out the rough edges. If Trevor stormed out after a harsh argument, he'd return the next day with flowers and apologies. If Rose snapped and lost her temper, she'd take herself off for a walk to cool down. If Ray was bothered by something, he'd speak up instead of pushing it all down. They found their happy moments. And when 1 month became 1 year, they celebrated with moving boxes and a new, bigger couch. When 1 year became 2, they celebrated with promise rings and whispers of a better future between light kisses. 3 years became 4, became 5, and so on... They found their happy moments. But life is not a fantasy or a fairy tale. Their story ends in a hospital. Rose dies with both her husbands at her side, with both her daughters and son clutching on her hands. She dies with a smile on her face, knowing she is not leaving them to suffer alone. Ray and Trevor grieve together.

(Ren) And this time the girls are the ones who get into the fight but Trevor and Ray are there for Julie and Carrie no matter what they're fighting over carrie told julie she liked flynn but julie said flynn was hers first and doesnt understand how she can feel squishy love for two people. (Ren) Luke’s mad at first, ofc he is but after everything is explained and out in the open Trevor finds himself at home in a building that never felt like home despite the fact he grew up in it.

#2 Workout with Albi

So, another thing done!!

Albi is this precious friend and my shared-braincell that I had the pleasure to meet about one year ago virtually and face to face not even a year ago. She has become one of the most important people in my life, supporting me during tough times, making me smile, accepting me with my issues and my craziness and as everything I am. 

We say we share one (1) brain cell because we are very similar and also we are in this trying-to-be-healthier journey, so one day we thought we could workout together because it will be so much fun. The thing is we live in different cities which are hundreds of kilometers apart, so we only get to see each other a few times and just for a couple of days or a couple of hours. Luckily, she has come to my house to stay for a few days before I move out to another city and we made it! We moved our asses and did some exercise and danced together! Because we are a mess when we are together in terms of “healthy lifestyle” this was a huge challenge.

I know we will meet again and be able to do this another time, but at least I wanted to workout with her once in my life because she is my shared-braincell and I know our lazy asses won’t do anything healthy when we are together lmao.

So, for now, another “challenge” completed!

Being a bitch because college has a lot of dumb people and you don’t understand how there are so many people with just one brain cell, that is almost close to none. 

Making lists because checking off each task from your list is as satisfying as sleeping in on a Friday. 

Making routines and sticking to them. 

So If there’s any skill that you’ve mastered, it should be these few, though it’s highly unfortunate that you can’t list any of the aforementioned skills in your resume. Skill number six is also your pet peeve and you just abhor, detest, loathe, fucking hate it when your routine gets all screwed up and just about everyone around you knows how anal you are about following your routines and you won’t hesitate to throw hands if something goes awry.

You’ve never imagined that you would actually be throwing hands until you see some stranger occupying your usual seat at your 8am lecture, for fuck’s sake. You’re not being territorial. There’s no such thing as assigned seats in college, but after the first week or so, people just got in the habit of sitting in the same spot – it’s like an unspoken decision. But your favourite seat is taken. Rudely taken by a mob of dark hair who’s casually scrolling through his phone.

MY OFFICIAL CHRISTMAS POST AT LAST 🎄😭 After working on this all night/day. My Christmas gift to my sweethearts @goldenstar.cos is done! I love them with all my heart. I was having a really rough year but they helped me get through it & brought me so much happiness even when I didn’t feel strong enough to endure.So I wanted to sing them a song as thanks & hopefully convey all my feelings to them. It’s our 1 Year Anniversary & it’s been quite a debut! But I took it one step further & decided to edit a nice heartfelt video to accompany it because I’m extra & they deserve it.
