who wakes up first in the morning? typically it’s nyota (she’s usually more prompt and tends to be up and at ‘em bright and early, while leonard is dead to the world until he’s replicated two cups of coffee)

who’s the first to fall asleep at night? leonard, who is constantly exhausted, falls asleep the moment he hits the bed

what do they playfully tease each other over? they don’t tend to tease each other much, unless the other is in a bad mood and they’re trying to cheer them up

what they do when the other’s having a bad day? when leonard’s having a bad day, he tends to shut people out and isn’t his normal mildly grumpy self, he’s just withdrawn and upset. nyota will sit or cuddle with him, talk through what’s bothering him, and exist in space with him as he needs it. when nyota’s having a bad day, she tends to need physical comfort. leonard will give her massages, brush her hair, and be as physically present as nyota needs as she talks about what’s upset her

how do they say ‘i’m sorry’ after arguments? weirdly, despite their mutual complaining about nearly everything, nyota and leonard are one of those couples that just never seems to fight. apologies, on the rare occasion that they’re needed, are immediate and genuine

which one’s more ticklish? leonard, and he hates it

what are their favourite rainy day activities? playing board games (especially scrabble), practicing speaking in other languages (nyota’s helping leonard learn graalen so he can chat with one of the new andorian nurses in his own language), cuddling, cooking

how do they surprise each other? leonard is extremely anxious about planning surprises, so he doesn’t tend to do big things; typically, he’ll pick up small gifts when the crew is planetside or schedule a reservation at a new restaurant- things that don’t cause him a lot of stress to do that he know’s nyota will still appreciate. nyota is the one who LOVES planning surprises, whether it’s small physical gifts, planning trips for when they have shore leave, or switching up things in their quarters; leonard honestly loves it all

what are their most sappy shows of public affection? holding hands and occasional stolen kisses is about the extent of it, given they’re both fairly private people

can i hear your feelings about aos bones and uhura? i hadn't really considered that until you brought it up, but that's actually a really neat idea
