cant think too much about chil going down to save falin for laios‘ sake and laios being willing to return to the service after chil asks him to. like okayyyyyy

#it makes me insane too that both times its laios‘ choice #like #chil doesnt HAVE to follow him. laios literally wants to do it by himself originally #he just knows laios (and marcille) will get speared by the first trap they encounter #so he goes down with them #and laios wants to keep going even by himself yet again. and chil begs him to return to the surface. which is again about laios and the #others surviving but it centers on laios. its just sooooo #its like poetry it rhymes
