honestly the writing and acting of Jackie's character on Nurse Jackie are so good, you know what the lies are and what the ulterior motives are and she's still so entirely believable
#I didn't remember it was this good#maybe the later seasons weren't as good idk (I'm on s2)#and part of that good writing is def that there isn't a giant red arrow pointing at the lies#or the things she says that aren't a lie but are serving some lie-adjacent purpose#nurse jackie#I support women's wrongs
