#omfg i hate twitter so much#h*llch**r shippers are so annoying over ther for fucks sake#i censored the ship name so it wouldn't show up in twitter's search engine#but the shippers found me and harassed me either way because they can't fucking ignore people who don't ship h*llch**r#i jokingly said to lucia 'they really do be out there trying to make their ship' popular#because at the paris con all people apparently knew to ask about was:#'would chrissy and eddie have a romantic relationship if they were alive'#and they asked it to people who weren't even part of the ship#anyways#then suddenly a whole day later i get notifs from h*llch**r shipers saying#'we don't need to try they are popular'#like yeah right say that to the top ten ship tags on tumblr#or the numbers of videos on tiktok under each ship tag#steddie (and ronance) is bigger and more popular than h*llch**r fandom wise#and we didn't need to impose our ship onto anybody for it to become this big mind you#it's the thing i said on the tags of that post that talked about canon ships or wtvr#of course h*ll*ch**r will be a 'popular halloween couple costume' because it's a fucking m/f ship#it doesn't mean it's more popular within fandom#this need to feel that a ship is better than the other and to rub it into peoples faces is so annoying#fucking enjoy your ship in your corner and let people enjoy other ship in their corner#it wasn't me going to random h*llch**r shippers twt accounts and harassing them#it was the oposite#fucking hell#also hide your homophobia a little better

2021 Fic Year in Review
i was tagged by my darlings, @radio-chatter and @fanfics-fix <3 i am just going off ao3 for this because there's no way i'm tracking down random tumblr fics for word count.
Total Number Of Completed Works: 68, which is way more than i thought it would be.
Total Word Count: 294,423. why use a few words when you can run on for whole pages?
Fandoms I’ve Written In: teen wolf (60) and 911 (8). i'm a little surprised that i wrote buddie fics at all but each and every one of them were gift fics so that makes sense.
Looking Back, Did You Write More Fic Than You Thought You Would This Year, Less, Or About What You’d Expected? oh much, much more. it's really only slightly less than 2020 when i had much more free time which surprises me.
What’s Your Own Favorite Story Of The Year? good morning (from me to you) which surprise was based off a tiktok. tiktok both wasted a lot of my time this year and gave me so, so many ideas. i should probably watch the 700 videos people have sent me in the last two months to see if there are any more good ones lol.
Did You Take Any Writing Risks This Year? i signed up and completed a big bang which was a little risky because the timeline pretty much fell while i was in school and the story i was working on kept growing and growing and at one point i really wasn't sure if it would be finished in time.
Do You Have Any Fanfic Or Profic Goals For The New Year? not really. just keep writing all the silly things that pop into my head.
Most Popular Story Of The Year? i actually went and looked at my stats for this and the answer kind of surprised me because it's do you know how to do take-aways? which i wouldn't have guessed.
Story Of Mine Most Under-Appreciated By The Universe, In My Opinion: but it's golden. come on you guys, marrish is so good.
Most Fun Story To Write: omfg (the hot guy remix). we all have that friend who will internet stalk a dude to death for us. cora is that person for derek.
Most Unintentionally Telling Story: i don't have anything posted that's unintentionally telling ... i usually keep that stuff to myself. a wish your heart makes comes the closest since the whole scenario and several lines of dialog were lifted from my life, just you know ... not with the getting together at the end part much to the disappointment of my student.
Biggest Disappointment: lovely, dark, deep. i wrote it after seeing a gorgeous piece of fan art but i didn't really accomplish the feeling i wanted with it. i still like it, it's just not what i really intended.
Biggest Surprise: here comes the sun. if you would have told me last year that i would be writing my otp into a poly ship i would have assumed you were talking to the wrong person. but they would be so good with allison!! so yes.
My Favorite Part Of Fandom This Year: always @tylerhunklin because without her there would have been no sterek or marrish and probably no writing but also everyone else i've met and talked to, whether it was about fic recs or throwing around story ideas. having art made by @delete-risks and @radio-chatter for my stories was incredible, and @redhoodedwolf writing something based off one of my moodboards ... so much of fandom is wrapped up in giving and i adore that.
