Okay, having just rewatched the Mandalore Plot, I feel a little more justified in my opposition to the "Obi-Wan Kenobi speaks Mando'a" headcanon, because someone speaks the language in front of him and he asks Satine what they said

#im not a hater i just don't think he needs as big a connection to mandalorian culture as some people give him #like a dude who spent a year studying abroad and now acts like hes straight up a native of the country #hes got his own culture! it just feels weird. especially as a person who sees my own culture get treated that way #anyway if you want to justify him still speaking it she does explain what dialect it is so maybe he just doesnt know that one #or hes not a fluent speaker which is honestly a variant of the hc i do not mind nearly as much #tcw rewatch
