This is going to be my last post about the stalker situation because some people are (thankfully, and rightfully) deleting their posts about it:

I need you all to understand that the majority of you getting your information was from Twitter and not only Twitter, but Twitter accounts that were NOT Amanda/ Evvieandme.

That was your first mistake.

Can Twitter be a reliable source? Sometimes. But you seriously need to do your own research.

Especially when it comes to serious accusations and topics like this.

Unfortunately we live in a world now where anyone can say and fake whatever they like and post it as truth, and others will spread it and believe it. It’s why it’s so important in situations like this you don’t take things at face value.

I understand wanting justice and to do the right thing, but if you’re worried how you may look posting about something when you can’t prove it’s validity, don’t say anything until further and CLEAR evidence is given.

You are not obligated to make a statement or spread awareness.

Keep that in mind.

If we had used our critical thinking skills here, you would have noticed immediately that nothing she did was out of the norm for a hardcore fan. Are there fans in the EP fandom and any fandom that are crazy and push boundaries they shouldn’t? Absolutely.

But the fact that you were are all so hung up on a woman who was just a superfan, who seems to have only met Evan in the most professional and appropriate of settings except for one time, that you created an entire campaign to run her off the internet in less than 24 hours instead of talking about idk—Rosa or all the people making hate accounts harassing his girlfriend Natalie on multiple platforms? Or the fact there was/ is a Twitter account roleplaying as if they are actually Evan himself? That’s actual insanity.

And I hate the “well what about this?!” when it comes to activism statements, but what Amanda did wasn’t anything wrong. At least, not anything outside of the norm for celebritty culture—especially pertaining to Evan. So it doesn’t fit that.

Should she have taken the photo? Probably not.

Is it weird she sat next to Evan? In a situation where there are more open seats in the terminal, I’d say yeah, a little.

Does it make her a stalker? No.

And for those of you who aren’t aware yet.

No. Going to public sets and meet and greets is not stalking. People do it all the time for many other celebrities and no one is calling them out for it. Just because she takes as many opportunities as she can to meet Evan does not make her a stalker, it makes her a fan. If you’re a fan of Evan and you had the opportunities she did, I can guarantee you would have done the same.

I genuinely don’t care if this makes anyone upset, just like any other of my drama/ discussion and discourse posts. If you’re uspet with me saying this, you are the problem (and probably need to log off for a day or two. Delete a social media app maybe.)

Glad people have finally caught up to the reality and of this, and EVERYONE who posted about her being a “stalker” owes Amanda an apology.

Movies that are adapted from fan fiction really make me mad... I'm looking at you The Kissing Booth.

And the reason it makes me so mad is that I can't help but wonder what movie or show or book inspired this fan fiction. And when you have movies like The Kissing Booth that really push toxic versions of beloved tropes... it makes me a little pissed. Every time I see clips of The Kissing Booth I wonder if they dared be inspired by Nathan and Haley in One Tree Hill.

TKB (I'm gonna start using an acronym cause I'm sick of typing it all out lol) but anyways back to what I was saying... TKB really makes a bad name out of the best friend's brother trope and also the bad boy trope. In a lot of movies nowadays, TKB is not the only one, the heroine in the movie is almost turned on by the guy's violence. That's not Haley. Haley never put up with Nathan's bullshit in season 1.... if Nathan had continued to pull that shit then she would have been gone so fast. OTH to it's credit never tried to make Nathan's violence in early season 1 something that was attractive. What attracted Haley to Nathan was the vulnerability he showed to her and the kindness that she saw in him. OTH also never prolonged the bad boy stage. Nathan met Haley and fell in love and he realized that he wanted to be someone who was worthy of being seen with her. But it wasn't a typical I'm gonna fix him type of TV relationship. It was a "I like you but you better fix you shit and fly right or I won't stay with you" and from Nathan's perspective he made the choice to change and he did the work to change. Also arguably other things in his life helped him change. For instance, his growing relationship with his mother and his brother and choosing to cut off Dan from poisoning his life. BTW A little off topic but I love that it wasn't a Jess Mariano situation where Nathan was only nice to Haley but shitty to everyone and everything else.

I feel like a lot of fan fiction takes the wrong lessons from tropes on TV and now with the ever growing fan fiction adaptions we all have to suffer for it.

Edit. Actually I just looked it up and I guess that The Kissing Booth wasn't based on fan fiction but in my defense it seems like a lot of people thought it was, based off of Google said. But I stand by everything else I said. I know that the After series was based off of fan fiction and that sucks as well. Also I stand by what I said about OTH. All other shows and movies should take note of how they did those tropes.

Moved from weary to annoyed and not excited at all about the one tree hill reboot. No Nathan. No Haley. No Lucas… those are the main characters

These reboots are so rarely good that I feel like you should just give it up if the mains don’t wanna come back liek I can only name a handful that were good and they were ones that had revolving casts like degrassi and Waterloo road where the old main characters weren’t important but

Gilmore girls year in the life? Flop. Teen wolf movie? Flop. Gossip girl reboot? Floppppppp

And honestly I don’t know why they would even try to reboot this when Jensen and daneel already failed at rebooting one of their shows. I don’t even think they will have much involvement but clearly they don’t have the magic touch

Four.

Summary: Lucas & Peyton never left 🤍 and almost exactly 2 years after Sawyer was born, Peyton discovers she’s pregnant with her second child. With Lucas out of town she turns to Brooke to lean on.

"Brooke?"

“Hi P Sawyer! What are you doing, girlie?" Brooke asked playfully, as she juggled her phone against her ear and shoulder while rummaging through her purse to find her car keys. When there was silence on the other end, her stomach dropped, and the keys were no longer important.

“Peyton, is everything okay? What's going on?"

She removed the hand that was covering her mouth and massaged the center of her forehead before answering, trying to collect her thoughts that were running wild. "Are you home right now?" Peyton asked.

“I was just about to run to the store, what's wrong? Where are you?" Brooke asked, with no clue what was going on.

“I think I'm pregnant.”

"What! Oh my gosh, you scared me! Wait...how do we feel about this?" Brooke asked, unsure how to react. Of course, she was excited but based on Peyton's demeanor, she wanted to know what was running through her best friend's mind. Two years ago Peyton almost died from pregnancy complications and with every pause and delayed response, she gathered that this news was a lot for her to process. Peyton began to cry and finally mustered out the words, "I don't know."

“Hang on, forget the store, I'm on my way, okay?" Brooke offered.

“Okay, I love you" Peyton responded.

Brooke knew that Lucas and Sawyer were out of town visiting Karen, Andy, and Lilly for the next two weeks and that Peyton was home alone. She should have been in New Zealand with them but was forced to stay home at the very last minute. Mia's new album was finished and ready for distribution when she got the offer to be featured on a new song with Dashboard Confessional. The deal required Mia and the band to each put the track on both of their albums.

With a lot of adjustments to be made, Peyton made the call at the last minute to stay in Tree Hill due to the time zone difference and workload she now had in front of her.

“Peyton?" Brooke called as she came through the side door in Lucas and Peyton's bedroom. Peyton met her in the doorway holding her latest of four tests and let out a large sigh.

“Hi..." she said as Brooke rushed over to her and wrapped her in her arms. An embrace that Peyton needed but one that caused her to smile, laugh, and cry all at the same time. When Brooke pulled away she saw what was in Peyton's hand and said, "P Sawyer, tell me what you're thinking, Mama?"

Peyton wiped a tear from the corner of her eye and let out another small burst of laughter. They both sat on the bed, their unofficial spot to divulge everything since they were kids.

"I don't know how this happened." Peyton shared.

“Well, I think I know how it happened," Brooke joked, trying to add levity to the conversation. Peyton appreciated the joke, but her smile faded quickly and she finally began to open up.

“What if it happens again? It's been almost two years and I still have nightmares that something happened to Sawyer and I wake up not knowing if I'm dead or alive. I always imagined having a big family, but after Sawyer was born... I can't go through that again... I mean I can and I would but I can't lose my baby."

"Honey, no, no it's okay... Just because you had complications in the past, does not mean it's going to happen again. I remember you telling me your doctor said it may not be an issue for you in the future!”

“But what if it is?" Peyton asked Brooke.

"But what if it's not? A wise woman once told me that we waste most of our time worrying about things that never even happen and I wonder who that was?"

“Fair." Peyton said as she smirked and nodded her head.

For a moment Peyton envisioned a family of four. Sawyer as a big sister. Two car seats. Lucas reading a bedtime story with two tiny faces tucked under each strong arm. How things could be.

"Talk to your doctor but first talk to your husband. I bet his first reaction will be nothing but pure happiness. That boy loves you and I see how he is with Sawyer. He's halfway around the world with her right now and the fact that he took a 2-year-old on a plane by himself automatically makes him the Dad of the year material. You’re Lucas and Peyton. You guys can handle this. You two can handle anything.”

"Thank you…” Peyton whispered as she reached out to grab Brooke's hand. Brooke smiled and said “You’ve got baby in that belly!”

“I’ve got a baby in my belly.” Peyton proudly repeated and gently laid her hand on her stomach.”

A Top Tier 80's Romance That Many Have Never Seen

TWO LOVERS. ONE CHANCE. NO TIME.

A tribute to the film FIRE WITH FIRE starring Virginia Madsen and Craig Sheffer. A young man serving time at a parole camp falls in love with a young woman at a nearby Catholic school. Instant attractions brings them together and sparks a fire that forces them on the run from the law, the church and their parents. This is a film with amazing chemistry that provides very real and captivating performances from Madsen and Sheffer. It also offers beautiful cinematography and direction from Duncan Gibbins. Despite this, the film flew under the radar as it went up against other films like Top Gun and Short Circuit released in May of 1986. If you've never heard of this film and enjoy a good romance, then I highly suggest this one.

The One Tree Hill ladies

very UO but if they couldn’t bring back Jake, they should have stuck Peyton and Julian together as endgame over Leyton! Julian and Peyton had already supposedly been in love, they both like cities (LA, NYC etc) and it makes sense they’d live there due to their careers, and both Peyton and Julian for a lot of their time on the series seemed ambivalent about starting a family. Also, Julian is smart and on the introverted side like Lucas but a little goofy like Jake - a combination of the traits Payron goes for! Meanwhile, we saw so clearly in season 5 that Brooke and Lucas both loved being back in one tree hill, they both seem to have jobs they can do anywhere, they both very much prioritize settling down and having a family, they were already unofficially co-parenting Angie, they still have that seemingly effortless and magical connection, they balance each other out perfectly…I could go on!

Honestly, I wouldn't have minded that one bit. First of all, Peyton deserved a million times better than Lucas by the time he finally got around to choosing her. She was lacking any sort of spine or self respect when she ran to that airport. As irritating as I found her character for large stretches of season 5, ultimately she wasn't in the greatest place and only imagined that her happiness could be attainable if she won Lucas back. Now to get back to what you were saying. I definitely think Peyton was better off and would have thrived most living away from Tree Hill in a bigger city where her dreams could really take off. I mean, the show really said that because Peyton wasn't exactly where she wanted to be at age 22 that this made her a failure and retroactively meant her decision not to rush down the aisle at age 19 had been a terrible, awful, shameful mistake. Seasons 6 and 7 Julian would have made a lot of sense as a partner for the ambitious Peyton who had faced so much trauma and pain in her hometown. STRONGLY agreed about your points re: Peyton and Julian being ambivalent and sometimes even negative about settling down in Tree Hill compared to Brooke and Lucas who genuinely loved it there and couldn't imagine raising their families elsewhere. I'm aware every aspect of this was unintentional considering the possibility of a Brucas endgame post season 3 was basically taboo, but in terms of compatibility Brooke/Lucas and Peyton/Julian made the most sense. If we couldn't have Jake back for Peyton, obviously. In the end, Peyton still left Tree Hill, something Lucas never wanted. And Julian settled for staying in Tree Hill for Brooke even though he'd rather be in LA. Relationships are all about compromise, but it's interesting how their situations sort of parallel. You should go on, because I love reading your thoughts! I genuinely think if not for Peyton's continued interest in Lucas and Lucas having an unfortunate history of making the same mistakes over and over again, Lucas would have eventually ended up with Brooke. Season 5 Brucas had such an ease around each other. Their goals lined up perfectly. The chemistry was still there. Their communication was really solid and both went out of their way to emotionally support the other. Maybe it's because the pressure was off considering neither was expressing their feelings, but you see them taking care of Angie and the way Lucas considered proposing to Brooke and instinctively know that they could have had it all. It's really depressing.
