Most of the headcanons I've seen about Adamsapple in Eden were portraying them having a good relationship, like Lucifer being sweet and kind to Adam, overly interested in him, liking him etc. while Adam being way more innocent back then and of course very curious. While I like the idea of them being in love even back then and having this cute relationship between them, I also like to play with the thought that Lucifer didn't always like Adam (and vice versa). What I mean is, Lilith and Adam never really got along well, they had their constant conflicts and such, mainly rooting from their different personalities, as in I imagine Adam being this kinda obnoxious person who's full of himself, stubborn and doesn't like when things don't go as he wants (not exactly in a toxic way, like I don't think of him as an actual bad person, rather like a big child lol). While I see Lilith as a way more mature and collected person who's had enough of Adam's "childish bullshit". (I know it sounds kinda stereotypical but my goal isn't that lol I can just genuinely see it, also canon!Adam is a walking stereotype so it's hard to ignore it haha)

So, assuming that both of them were created at the same time, when Lucifer started visiting the garden he warmed up to Lilith first, they started spending time together. Lilith regularly complained about Adam, how he acted so childish/talked too much about insignificant things/followed her etc. (again, I don't think she was cruel, she was literally the first woman, had so much to learn and expressed how she couldn't get along with Adam). Lucifer listening to her all the time, and also being fond of her, involuntarily started to develop doubtful feelings about Adam. Of course Lucifer was sweet and kind, he didn't hate the man, but all of Lilith's talk had an effect on him, and Adam's behavior when they interacted just deepened it further (although Lucifer himself didn't exactly find him annoying, Lilith's talk just caused him to focus on Adam's "problematic" behavior more and he subconsciously confirmed Lilith's words).

Meanwhile Adam obviously noticed that Lucifer was spending way more time with Lilith and didn't seem to feel too pleasant about him, he was kinda offended about that and started to dislike Lucifer.

However, I can imagine them interacting at one point, cause like, Adam obviously felt bad about feeling excluded and that neither of them liked him, so once when it was just the two of them with Luci, he kinda snapped and confronted him about it. (I can't really imagine him as a person who keeps it in, I rather see it as he was offended which led to him becoming frustrated and telling it straight into Lucifer's face angrily.) So he told him that he doesn't understand why they both dislike him but it's not fair and he's so much better than them anyway yada yada but it was clear that he was upset and hurt. That would be the point when Lucifer realizes the situation and it would become a turning point in their relationship??

I'll be the first person to admit that my characterization of their Eden personas is allllll over the fucking place. My apologies, I try to be better 😂 but I agree with you almost a 100%

I love depicting them as friends in Eden, but if I had to be realistic? In canon he probably didn't care much for him LOL or at least not as much as the fandom likes to believe. I also want to see more of this scenario with an adamsapple endgame, I'd like to do it myself, but to be truthful I wouldn't really be sure how to do it.

I like to think of Eden!Adam as, yes, more innocent, but he was still a bit of a shit, sarcastic and sassy (not an outright asshole, but his personality had a bit of a spice to it ya know?) I try to let this part of him show as much as I can in my newer depictions of Eden, but well I'm not sure if I've succeeded lol

I think that, if he's a brat now, he'd be even MORE SO in Eden. Basically, exactly what you said that he'd be obnoxious, full of himself and childish, just more out of a place of immaturity rather than malice.

I also really like this characterization of early Lilith. Yes, I absolutely see her as more mature and independent, more thoughtful and observant than Adam ever was, and of course those personalities clashed.

I absolutely love the idea of Lilith planting seeds of doubt in other people. In fact, that's a personal theory I have about the current Lilith and why Charlie's and Lucifer's relationship is so stranded. I think there must have been a lot of miscommunication and Lilith, whether on purpose or not, fed a lot of ideas about Lucifer to Charlie. She isolated her and fed her ideas about who her father was and what he thought of her, creating this wall between them that is now only starting to crumble down. So, the idea of her doing the same thing between Adam and Lucifer? Fuck yes. I want Lilith to be a manipulative bitch, whether she's doing that with malice or not LOL.

Adam immediately going head first into confrontation sounds very likely to me too! I'd absolutely agree, except I don't think this would make Lucifer actually realize the situation. Depending on how bad the argument was, I could see Lucifer thinking that oh Adam really is just that toxic or whatever other misunderstanding comes up. They're both idiots and unless Adam expresses his feelings with something other than anger, I think Lucifer would be more prone to bite back, or just simply not understand the deeper issues.

Overall I'm in LOVE with this description though!

Weekend WIP Game

Thanks @cha-melodius for the tag! This was super fun!

WIP List: I've got 3 and they're all Mobius lol. First one is just a screenshot painting, it's actually further along but I wanted to show an earlier stage of my process. Second is a frame for an animatic that's a crossover of Loki with Jujutsu Kaisen. Super random crossover choice but I just really love the new opening theme for that show. Last one I posted a while ago, it's the watch ad illustration which I haven't made any progress on since last time.

Which WIP is your most complex? Definitely the animatic, I'm trying to do 16 frames and some have multiple characters and complicated backgrounds.

Do any of your WIPs involve you using a technique/style that you haven't used before? What inspired you to try it? Nothing that different, though the animatic will have some frames of characters from really high and low angles, which will be tough for me.

Which WIP do you expect will take you the longest? Again the animatic lol

Which WIP are you finding the most enjoyable to create? Maybe number 1 because it's the most relaxing, with screenshot paintings I don't need to think as much.

Do you have a favourite character to draw/stitch/paint/depict? Are they in many of your WIP projects? I think that's evident from these WIPs hahah

Which WIP do you experience the most self-doubt about. Why? Number 3 because I want to do it in a painted style, but I don't have an exact lighting reference for what I want to do. Lighting is always hard for me when I don't have exact references.

Have any of your WIPs been struck by the curse of creator's block? Not often, once I've started a WIP it's because I have an idea for how I want it to look and can keep chipping away at it. If I get artblock it's when I can't think of anything to start next.

Do any of your WIPs contain characters outside the main ship? How are you finding creating those? For the animatic I'm planning to include some other characters: B-15, O.B., Casey, and Brad! It'll be my first time drawing most of them and I'm looking forward to it.

What emotions are you hoping to convey through your WIPs? Haven't thought about this too much, for 2 and 3 I'm just hoping they'll look cool hahah. And 1 is sadness (hopefully this is evident if you recognize the screenshot it's from)

Are there any features/details you are finding challenging in your WIPs? Mobius' hair in number 1 is hard since I'm trying to render it realistically.

Which WIP has the most complex shading/colouring? It'll be 3 but I haven't started that yet.

Which WIP do you have the highest expectations for? 2 I'm hoping will be really neat, but I think it also has the highest chance to not work out.

Are any of your WIPs commissions? No, I don't do commissions because they stress me out, I want to draw whatever I'm most interested in the moment and not have any obligations.

Do you have a character that is more difficult to draw/stitch/paint/depict? Are they in many of your WIP projects? Female characters are harder for me to draw, because I don't do it very often. B-15 will be in WIP number 2!

Tumblr shows me such horrendous posts sometimes especially from tags like #dean winchester People genuinely with their whole chest think that he could have been saved from that rebar with a first aid kit 😂(even though he obviously couldn't plus they didn't have gods power anymore) and also thinking he gave up lol as if he hasn't said all along how he knew he'd die a hunter, wanted Sam to have a peaceful life & him dying first was best case scenario. They never listen to Dean the show or Jensen

Oof, yeah. It's been ages since I braved the main tags because - at least on tumblr - this fandom is a trashfire of bizarre and ignorant opinions. Like, just as a thought exercise, let's give the maximum benefit of the doubt possible.

I can see, to an extent, why after the light fantasy irreverence of the Dabb years, someone might be wishfully tempted to forget SPN's horror roots and think the Winchesters might not die at the end. Except Jared and Jensen made it pretty clear every time they talked about the ending that they saw the Winchesters dead at the end, one way or another. Except even when we were full on in the hunting-is-a-lark and constant resurrect-o-rama of Dabbernatural, it was still a show that revolved around monsters and death almost as much as it did the brothers' relationship. Except how do you even end a show where the characters constantly bring each other back from the dead in a way that feels significantly final other than them accepting death?

I can see, to an extent, why there would be some confusion over the severity of injuries, because the show never took them as serious as they would be IRL, Chuck or no Chuck. TV in general is pretty terrible about that. Except as much as I loathe the concept of the Winchesters only being competent and surviving because of Chuck, it was a thing in the show. Except we're talking about being stabbed fully through the main body cavity where there are a lot of pretty vital things you can't live with shish-kebabed. Even if it would have been possible to survive that injury IRL as some kind of medical miracle, it would definitely require medical professionals for him to survive getting off that rebar and they were in a barn in the middle of freakin' nowhere - being realistic is not "giving up". Except we're talking about a fictional character where the entire point was that the writers had decided Dean was going to die then, so it was a fatal injury because it was written as fatal. Except I think it's pretty obvious some fans only wanted Sam rushing around trying to do first aid to avoid 7 minutes of incest Dean's speech showing Sam was still the most important person in Dean's life to the end and he was perfectly capable of saying I love you - despite their reams upon reams of meta claiming otherwise.

I am not in any way saying anybody needs to be happy that Dean died, or even needs like the finale. I actually agree Dean's lack of self-worth and fatalism about how he'd inevitably die fighting monsters relatively young (especially when he said that in a particularly low moment) aren't good things, so him being ultimately right is actually really fucking sad. As is Sam getting the normal life he once wanted when IMO he no longer particularly wants it and it's at the expense of losing Dean after all they'd been through together. Disappointment, even disappointment one should reasonably have seen coming, is totally fair. The ending is meant to be bittersweet with the sweet part coming from the heaven reunion, and even dismissing delusional shippers? Not everybody is going to like that kind of ending. Except there's disappointment and then there's being really fucking weird about that disappointment by insisting a tv show owed you to end the way you wanted and further, it personally wronged you because no one tried to put a band-aid on a sucking chest wound. Also, a character dying from doing something dangerous and acknowledging they are dying when they get a fatal wound doing it instead of trying to insist they're okay is ... endorsing suicidal themes.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Hmm... published I would say Brothers Keeper and/or Fight To Be Free, but they are wee ficlets and depends on your definition of angst I guess. Even thinking of my angstiest WIPs I'm not sure any of them have anything really sucky planned for the end. I'm all about the angst/pain/suffering and then a nice cup of cocoa and a cuddle for the final chapter.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

California I'm Coming Home. I think most of the published fics are pretty happy endings, but I think this one is the most fairytale almost. It's kind of an Oprah ending - Wayne gets a happy ending, and Eddie gets a happy ending, and Steve gets a happy ending! 😂

8. Do you get hate on fics?

So far no. Hopefully never.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

*clutches rosary beads* Nope. I honestly can't imagine ever being able to write smut, I suspect its the deeply ingrained Catholic guilt. But never say never!

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I fucking hope not. Do you know how long it takes me to write this shit? I've been writing one fic since the beginning of 2023 and it's still not finished!!! 😂

No, not as far as I'm aware.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No... I like the theory of it, it sounds like it could be fun, but at the same time I don't understand the mechanics of it and I could see it ending in tears.

Gosh, this is har-- STEDDIE! IT'S STEDDIE!!!

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?

All of them? Positive thoughts, positive thoughts. I have snippets and pieces for three fics that I'm not sure will ever get finished; one was being referred to as Eddie and Dustin Do Hookers and Blow (it really wasn't like that, I promise!) - basically miserable Eddie suffering in a shitty apartment in the city and Dustin rocking up and being all 'I've had no life experiences, my friends are all living their best life, I don't want to go to college - take me out for a wild night!'. Hilarity ensues etc. Likely will never get finished and I'll probably strip it for parts.

The other one was Eddie and Steve reconnect in the 90s. Eddie toured the country in his van for years, depressed and traumatised (hi, if you're a new reader I like to write Eddie as depressed and traumatised. All. Of. The. Time. You're welcome). He eventually settles down, becomes a nurse (Nurse Eddie truther!) and runs into Steve. Hilarity ensues. Or, they fall in love anyway. But yeah, realistically never getting finished.

The last one was an aftermath/recovery fic. I have about 7k words for this. This was my first stab at fanfic in about 15 years and it shows! I bit off more than I could chew and was taking it in too many directions. As it stands it will never be finished but there is a nugget of a story in there that I still want to tell. It's mostly medical whump before the loving and romance. Might just stay as a little mind movie for myself to re-run over and over.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Uhh... I think I have good ideas, and I like to take ideas and flip them. For example - Steve has bad parents. Well, what if they're nice? Um. Can't really think of anything else.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

What's the max word count for a post on Tumblr? Lol, joking. Run on sentences, like ruuuuuuuuuuuun on. Too many commas. Too many elipses. I am way too slow because I read too much fic so nothing gets finished. I cannot write connecting action for shit. I can give you dialogue. I can give you internal monologues for days. I cannot connect the two. Annoys the shit out of me. Also I can be super light on description sometimes, and I think it's because I write for myself that I forget other people need to see what I can see! Also giving my fics stupidly long titles which is really annoying when you have to keep them typing them out.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I don't think I would be comfortable doing it because I know I would get it wrong. Sometimes it really throws me in a fic and I have to run off to google translate or scoot up and down to the authors notes to decipher whats being said. Which is fine if its a one off but I've read whole conversations like that in fics and nope. Back button is calling my name. Tricky to pull off well I think.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

The A Team. I was shit and nothing got published and we should all be very pleased about that.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Oooh, tricky. California I'm Coming Home and Only The Horses. Oh and I Can Love You Better Than Him I think. I love the idea of Eddie being rescued by Steve. Not going to count the WIPs because they would trump everything! I love them!

Hi! i’m sorry🙇🏻‍♀️for bringing up frustrations in my topmew breakdown 😅. I didn’t intend to do so and I completely understand them. I know this will sound like I’m trying to patch up things but I agree with you on several points that you’ve made. 

I also do find it frustrating when a lot of viewers straight away jump to conclusions about top and mew without trying to understand their perspective or when they try to fit them into their own personalised choices. I’ve also seen a lot of rancid takes on topmew that disgusted me so much and I’m sorry if my post was very similar (sending virtual hugs, FORCEBOOK ARE AMAZING PERIOD ❤️❤️!!). 

I just think that there are some many details put into this show in terms of the wardrobe choices, the directing, narrative frameworks, etc. because p’Jojo and his team are very known being very detailed about their shows like how they insert in a lot of underlying commentaries. idk i tend to be the overthinking type but there’re a lot of visual cues with mew especially, e.g. his READ ME bag and the whole visual and sense perception thing. it’s already difficult enough to find meta posts that would talk about topmew and not turn them into 24/7 manipulative a*holes/players.

Don’t get me wrong, I also do enjoy seeing how their dates play out. I really enjoyed the pool date, laser tag, even the silent disco…I can honestly go on😂. It’s very clear to me as well that they developed feelings of love over time. I was just wondering because so many people were like “when is mew going to confront top?”, “when will he know?”. there was already a waiting game and uneasiness about it and when for mew to “go to his dark side” for many episodes (impatience?). mainly because one of most important turning points and conflicts of the storyline is when mew confronts top about boston. I mean every character would have their own conflicts but the whole mew-top-boston confrontation? That’s what affected every character and one of the main reasons is that mew is the central character. regardless, that scene had so much anticipation from when it happened to when mew finds out. (I’ll insert in some positivity here - that topmew scene in EP6 is no doubt one of if not the most iconic scene of the show👌🏼 - FORCEBOOK DELIVERED ON THAT. PERIOD).

I’m aware that topmew have done other dates like the bookstore, pool date, cafe, etc. but I only brought up those 3 specific dates because it’s interesting how there’s a sense deprived, which I don’t think it’s a coincidence? That was just me branching out to a possible thought process behind these specific dates if they had some sort of underlying significance. at the same time, there’s no denying that these experiences are what mew can never properly experience through books - that I agree 100%. 

in my mind while I wrote the last post, I was thinking about the whole idea of topmew’s growth and how their relationship dynamic could change now that they’re really starting over. talking about it, they no doubt had miscommunication and insecurities in the past. Boeing being present obviously will challenge that and it’s actually a good thing before they properly reconcile. I’m also curious, after the whole Boeing with topmew thing is over (let’s be fr, the more severe “Boeing related” issue is going to be with sand), how do you think topmew will move forward from there and what might realistically happen to them in terms of the storyline? we obviously have our wants for what fluffy things topmew to do (gosh it’s so painful to see sad fanedits and them being as such from EP 6-9😭) but realistically within 3 EPs, I can’t fully trust that the showrunners will leave us 100% no topmew drama within the remaining episodes. One thing I’m definitely awaiting to see is if we get a much more fiery passionate Mew😝 (oh I’ll likely have a mental breakdown). And actually I want to see topmew properly talk about top’s insomnia or maybe have a convo sitting opposite each other.

my biggest issue with those kinds of interpretations is that they clearly come from, similar to what you said, a place of anxiety about something that the audience technically is not supposed to know about yet. it's not a feeling that comes organically from the text. it comes from that waiting game you mentioned, not what the drama is actually presenting.

i have it on good authority that people who hadn't seen the trailer or queue/behind the scenes do not get any "off" vibes from any of topmew's scenes before episode three, see the public shower scene for what it actually is (assault), and understand that top's feelings for mew are genuine. it's a seeing ghosts type thing, if you're not anticipating a blowup you don't see signs of it everywhere. because they're not there! what is actually "wrong" about their relationship is mew's unwillingness to fall fully and actually open up to top and, you know, top lying (about something that he knew would make him lose mew - and, honestly, boston is one of mew's closest friends, who would he believe?).

i agree there are a lot of visual details that enhance or tell a greater story! i just thought the antlers might be reaching a little😅 but you're absolutely right about the wardrobe choices and the "read me" bag.

i think the thing with boeing is going to be similar to mew paying attention to how top interacts with/ignores other guys who are obviously attracted to him in episode five. he's going to see, again, that top only has eyes for mew and that's what's going to help strengthen the relationship. boston was a one-time thing, because he manipulated top's feelings for mew. it is unfortunate that the drama seems to be ignoring the assaults and boston coercing top, but i'm hoping after this initial shock that mew will finally see that it came from a place of insecurity rather than outright mistrust. or if the video really is a sex tape like i thought it was 😭 but maybe all that was on me for not assuming there wouldn't be at least one or two drama contrivances 🤡

i do think it's pretty likely they'll talk about top's insomnia more in depth since it seems like he's been inviting boeing over for the sole purpose of being able to sleep - especially now that we know there was a cut scene where top tried to have a one-night stand and couldn't go through with it. he wouldn't have just changed his mind for an ex-boyfriend lol

and yeah! topmew are "us against the world," they even have their own little world. it bums me out that this should have stuck to inside the drama, and it wasn't also "us against the fandom," but i'll always be right beside them, against the world together😭

I watched the “South Park Post-Covid” event last night!!

And holy shit do I have a lot to talk about!

Alright, here we go!

HOLY SHIT THIS EVENT WAS INSANE!! Not just for the mere aspect that we got to see the kids all grown up in the future (which that in itself was fucking mind blowing) but the story they made for it..

So we’re living 40+ years into the future. And COVID is still around with new variants. Let me just say that seeing that reality was terrifying. As much as I hope we aren’t still living in a pandemic for the next 40 years (which I doubt we will honestly) Ik that COVID is going to stay. It’s inevitable. We may not be quarantining every year but it will become as common as the flu.

But..seeing that bleak future where the pandemic truly DIDN’T get under control is something that haunts my nightmares.

But also, the satire they did for it was nothing short of genius. In true SP style, they managed to take a serious event that has happened and make light of it. This one being the emergence of the variants.

Everything in the town having the name of Plus or some variation was hilarious. 😂

And the reality of the people that refuse the vaccine for their “personal choice,” although highly satirized, was still portrayed realistic in the sense that they were ruining it for everyone that did. Bc that is exactly what is happening now. Which is the reason we have the need for mandates and boosters now.

Alright, enough of that. Let’s talk about the nitty gritty!

The boys. Oh my fucking Jesus.. first of all, Kenny being the most successful, becoming a millionaire AND still having the urge to save everything and everyone, whether it be the source of the virus or the need to repair his broken friendships, is just a MERE example of why Kenny is the best character in South Park. He really went and lived his best life and died for the sole reason of wanting to get his best friends back together. Like, Kenny is the definition of a martyr. He always tries to save everything and usually succeeds. ALL HAIL KENNY FUCKING MCCORMICK LIKE FORREAL!!! 😄😄😄😛😛😛🤩🤩🤩

As for the rest.. well..

Stan of course ended up becoming an angry drunk. No surprise since we kinda already pre-established he got clinical depression and started drinking at the age of fucking 10 😅 but still, it was hard to see. And also broke my stendy heart seeing them not end up together. (Although the Alexa thing was hilarious) however, I have to say that making it to where he got so angry he burned tegridy farms to the ground and killed his sister in the process was fucking morbid!

Then again, this is the same show that had a kid eat their own parents. So I really shouldn’t be surprised

Not really much to say about Kyle. He just seemed to turn out average. It sucks that he really didn’t stay friends with Stan. They were really close among the group and although their friendship was littered with problems, it’s sad to see that they couldn’t work through them in the end.

But of course, by far the BIGGEST SHOCK out of all was…

THE CARTMAN FAMILY!!

But like, WHY ARE THEY ADORABLE!? His kids are so cute! His son having a clyde frog pacifier.. it’s too much.. but also the fact that.. I believe that he’s genuine. I wasn’t sure at first bc it really seemed like he may be scheming the whole Jewish thing to fuck with Kyle in classic cartman style. But seeing how desperate he was to not want to go back to the past at the risk of losing his family.. that was probably the most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen from him.. of all the kids Cartman was the LAST person I expected to become a family man. But.. I’m not even complaining. I kinda hope that that future sticks for him even when they inevitably return to status quo (and maybe Kyle really can become uncle Kyle bc that too was way too cute 🥺)

Ok. So that’s the main kids grown up. But let me just talk real quick about the side characters.

First of all, WHY TOKEN LOWKEY BE LOOKIN LIKE A SNACK!? He grew up soo nicely and seemed to become quite the gentleman. No surprise since he was always kinda the most normal of the group 🤣

And of course let’s not forget the one part of the episode that not only excited me, but sent me into full elation

CREEK IS STILL TOGETHER AFTER 40 YEARS!!!!!

Of all the couples of the show, these two are the ones I wanted more than anything to stay together! It’s so nice to see that they did. The one thing I do hope happens in the alternate future after they fix everything is that they get married and adopt a child. I really want to see them raise a kid together bc I feel like they’d be amazing dads. But.. that’s a personal preference and just me being extra picky lol

And the next thing that surprised me and sent me into full elation..

THE NECKLACE.. THE NECKLACE… THE NECKLACE!!!!!!

By far one of my favorite relationships in South Park that isn’t shipping is the relationship between Kenny and Karen! 😭 the fact that kenny goes out of his way to protect his sister not just as himself but also as mysterion just warms my heart. When I realized what Karen was wearing here I literally lost my shit.

SHE HAS A MYSTERION NECKLACE!

And not just that, but the mere fact that she was wearing it AT KENNY’S FUNERAL all but confirms that at some point, she found out who mysterion was. And most likely turned that piece of his costume into a necklace. Which is the most precious and emotional thing bc it goes to show that kenny will forever be her “guardian angel” 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️

As far as the rest of the special goes, it was insane. Seeing that Stan really went all that time not talking to Randy doesn’t surprise me. Stan was PISSED. I do have to say that Randy losing his entire family and livelihood was pretty depressing. I do hope that that isn’t his or stan’s future. Like at all.

So now we’re left awaiting what the boys will do next. They know now that their friendship meant way more to kenny than they could’ve ever imagined. Although cartman and Kyle stayed in touch with him, it wasn’t enough. He wanted the gang back. They mean everything to him. Now that they know, they can go back in time and fix it.

I’m so excited to see where we go from here. I know we will eventually return back to status quo but getting this little taste of a “what if” with the residents all grown up was very interesting. South Park always manages to keep itself relevant with its comedy, satire, and current events status quo. But also by doing things that surprise the audience and have them wanting more. I pray that South Park continues for a while bc it is truly one the best animations still on the air ❤️

I know you'll appreciate it lol This is regarding the new picture of David and Georgia in LA: I saw someone say they ""love"" Georgia's 'David' tattoo and they ""love"" that she tries to show it off in every picture.... like huh???? is it just me or is that not weird??? That tattoo has always given me the vibe that it's like a subliminal "the boy is mine" message LOL like babe, we get it, he's your husband. I don't need to see your weird branding to know that David comes home with you at the end of the night... I figured, ugh, marriage would have been enough but apparently not lmao I mean, Iisten, I'm kinda bias. I've always kinda thought spouse/partner name tattoos were tacky, no matter how long you've been dating or married or together because you ever know what's gonna happen and usually they don't look good either. And I guess if it makes her happy, fine, but I just feel like the spot she got it in is so deliberate; the outside of the wrist rather than the inside so everrryyyone can see it. Come on now... If it really was for her because she loves the man and *gag* always wants his name with her or whatever corny ass reason you get a tattoo like that, why wouldn't she put it somewhere she could always see it? or in a spot where it's maybe more private? Hey Anon! I do appreciate you coming to me with this, as I was actually talking about this very subject with a few other people this week who shared similar sentiments. So you are not at all alone in feeling as you do about Georgia’s tattoo/her showing it off.

That was actually one of the things that stood out to me most about the pictures Georgia posted (other than the obvious, a.k.a. David’s beauty, of course). The very deliberate angle at which the picture was taken and how she held her hand, to display the tattoo of his name:

One of the things that is worth noting is how this all started, because from what I know, Georgia got the tattoo before they were even married. The reports I’ve come across indicate that she got it in the Spring of 2010, which is only months after they first began dating.

Like you, Anon, I have no problem with Georgia having the tattoo if it’s because it makes her happy or if David made the suggestion (which I very highly doubt). But the fact that she got this tattoo so early on in the relationship really does seem like a red flag to me--a need to stake her “claim,” as it were, as if being pregnant with his child and then subsequently married to him wasn’t enough.

So when I think about the circumstances around it, it seems like the tattoo is not really about him--it’s about her. I’ve written previously about my hypothetical head canon of David and Michael having complementary tattoos, but the way I see tattoos like that is them each having a piece of something that, when put together, make up a larger whole. Something where neither half is fully realized without the other. That’s the kind of “couple” tattoo I can get behind--something specific to the people in the relationship, that doesn’t need to be put in a conspicuous place for public consumption, because it is private, and special.

It’s also interesting to me that when we think about the possibility that Georgia is in a competition of sorts with Michael for David’s affections, that she as his “favourite” wife has to keep making these bids for attention in various ways, whereas Michael...doesn’t. I’ve talked about Michael being possessive of David, but with Michael, his being possessive is about David and wanting to protect him...whereas with Georgia, her being possessive is about her, and wanting to protect her standing and position as his wife.

(The post above is just one of several examples of this, and Georgia most notably made a similarly possessive post the night of the NTAs last year. Even though all anyone was talking about was Michael and David...)

Relationships are complicated, of course (which is why it’s probably not a good idea to get your significant other’s name tattooed in the first place, but I digress...). I understand why it would be easy to see Georgia deliberately flashing her tattoo as her “showing how much she loves David.” But we also have to remember that, by her own words/admission, Georgia stalked David into a relationship in the first place. I realize there could be sarcasm that I am missing, but after a while, some “jokes” start to seem more like the truth in disguise. And that coupled with the tattoo just makes you see things a bit differently.

(Also, I can’t help but wondering what our perception would be if the sexes were reversed--if a man got a tattoo of a woman’s name barely a month into dating and pushed a woman into a relationship. Would we be okay with that? And if not, why is it seemingly acceptable for Georgia to do it?)

Dear “I Just Wanted to Explain My Ask” Anon, 

Thanks for clarifying your ask.  I guess I’m just coming from a different perspective maybe?  I don’t feel like Tom is “rushing” anything just because he is openly expressing that he wants to have kids and be a dad, and raise a family.  I don’t get that impression at all actually. In fact, MOST people in their mid-late 20′s think about these things, especially if they are dating someone seriously.  In fact, I was just watching “The Bachelorette” last night (Michelle’s season) and was so touched by how one of the contestant guys on the show was literally in tears crying because he really wants to find love, and to have kids one day.  Believe it or not, men think about these things too! 😃  And I don’t think it’s weird at all. :)   If anything, I think Tom’s main importance is WHO he’s having kids with, not necessarily that he wants to just go out and find any woman he can get in order to “have kids right now right this second!”   That doesn’t even seem realistic lol.  😅🤣  

I can tell that Tom wants raising a family to be with the RIGHT person, and the fact that he’s no longer scared/anxious about getting a “woman” pregnant is just a sign to me that he probably feels like he has found the right “woman”  that he would one day want to start a family with. 🥰    So in other words.... Tom wanting to have kids doesn’t necessarily mean that he will have them tomorrow, but even if he DID, I don’t think it would be the end of the world lol.  😅  People have kids in their 20′s all the time, and are in far WORSE shape financially and economically than Mr. Tom Holland 👀, and they are doing just fine. 🤷 

RE: Zendaya....  Z will always have her work.  Work is a part of life for most of us.  With that said, we really don’t know what she and Tom have discussed, or what people might decide about their future.  I think making assumptions about Zendaya and where she is at her stage in her life is a bit presumptuous honestly.  We’re not in her head.  She might surprise you with where her goals are in terms of what she wants out of life.  She was just in a recent interview talking about having grandkids for goodness sakes lol.  😅  So it’s pretty obvious that she’s on the same page with Tom in wanting kids one day.  If you’re having grandkids, then obviously you’re having kids lol. 🤣   I could see a MUCH bigger issue if Tom wanted kids, and Z knew for a fact that she didn’t.  But that’s not the case here at all.  They seem to be on the same page to me.   I actually think that they both seem to be pretty serious about each other, and have obviously talked about the future and what it might look like with each other.  Imo they seem as though they both have decided that they would like kids with each other later on down the line in the future if possible.   It’s not even so much when you have kids, but WHO you have kids and choose to procreate with imo.  You want someone who can be a good mother or father to your kids. You want someone who can provide. Someone who’s kind.  Someone who is like your best friend in a union.  To me, Tom and Zendaya have definitely found that with each other.  We don’t know what the future will bring for the two of them, or if they will even last past 2021 lol.  😂😂  But to assume that people are in a bad place emotionally, or that work will keep people from having kids (umm...people work and simultaneously have kids EVERY Single day of the week lol...and MOST of us “commoners” don’t even have the luxury of taking years off of work in order to raise kids 😏) is just making a bunch of premature assumptions if you ask me.  Tom never said he wants kids tomorrow. And I doubt he’s pressuring Z to have kids tomorrow. You already heard the man. This is THEIR story...not his alone. He respects her too much not to take her opinions, thoughts and feelings into consideration.  The fact that he is talking so openly about this however, is just a sign to me that he’s obviously shared his hopes and dreams with Z, and she’s clearly obviously ON board with him (especially based on all of her baby post likes over the past year lol  🤣), because otherwise, why on earth would you mention something deep like this (impregnating a woman) in an interview that you know can be read by millions of people around the world (including your gf) if you two haven’t talked about this stuff already?  That makes zero sense to me.

hi! i am just going to say now: i'm not really in it for speculation this far out from a season, especially when we have no information to even look at. i'd be happy to chat in DMs if you have questions, but overall...there's nothing to spec about yet, and taking other people's speculation (aka, what you see in the tags/on twitter) as fact is going to ruin your hype for the new season. that's the last thing i want for any of us, so just...chill and enjoy the hiatus! there will be plenty of time to speculate leading up to september 25, i promise.

just to cover our bases quick tho: 

rosalind could be coming back (signs point to yes on this one) but if she is i kinda highkey doubt it is going to be some revenge plot. i'm sure it will be calamitous, but like...she's in a maximum security prison isolated from the entire population and after doing what she did in season 2, i'm sure they keep her under a hell of a lot more restriction. the rookie has always been realistic about crime – i highly doubt we are going to see her go full cartoon villain (e.g., a full blown escape, using chris as a new protege, etc.). that being said i think opening up that storyline could be really interesting emotionally, and i'm excited to see where they go with it if that's the case!

...ok! i don't see why this is news or indicative of how long he'll be on the show tbh. as someone who has worked in social media...they followed him for ease of access 😂 kanoa posts about being on set when he is and the rookie social media team usually reposts it to their story. same with shawn, same with most of the actors. if they follow him, they don't have to go out of their way and find his posts. i would not take that to mean anything about chris, chris/lucy, or the show – as i said a lot last season: the social media team and the show's creative team are two completely separate entities, they do not make decisions together, and social is not a reflection of story.

i don't know why anyone has decided rachel is coming back...it's just speculation and tbh, unfounded speculation. i genuinely would not care if this happened, but just to really squash it: i just checked jasmine matthews' imdb and she is currently filming a movie in houston, so i highly doubt she's doing anything with the rookie right now. also: i believe this came up because alexi said a season 2 storyline would be coming back into play. rachel is a person who carried no real storyline, and if anything from season 2 is coming back, i'd put my money on rosalind and her very large storyline over tim's now ex-girlfriend.

anyway! last thing: please try to remember going in to the new season for your own peace of mind: other people's spec is speculation, not fact. spec can be fun, but when you base all your expectations around it and they inevitably are not met by the show...your disappointment is partially on you and you could've just been out here vibing, ready for whatever story the show wants to tell.

they might have a higher opinion that is necessarily true. they can be a bit arrogant and because of the telepathy can often feel like they know more/are better informed than everyone else around them. they can have a bit of a bad habit of underestimating others. They are very smart, notice details and a great tactician but they still have blind spots *cough*ortega*cough*

12: What is one of the most primary things your OC feels that is missing from their life?

They would say agency/freedom. They want to not be held down by anyone or anything and have a habit of viewing interpersonal connections as chains. they don't want to care about anyone or anything because then it could be used it against them then it could hurt them and they really don't want anything to have that sort of power of them. they have this idea of not being tied down by anything of being totally free and maybe then they will feel secure and happy (they won't but that's a whole other thing)

18: What kind of intrapersonal values does your OC have? (values about their self, what makes them feel like a valid person)

Vesper is less concerned with personhood than some of my other steps. for them its about wanting to have control or at the very least to be free from others control and influences. as such they struggle a lot with any emotional impulses. the desire to spend time with others to empathize to make someone smile, to have someone make you smile. to give comfort. it all feels like a loss of control. and yet those are the moments when they tend to feel happiest in the moment. its just afterwards that the doubts creep in. the fears of how this could be used against them

22: How does your OC usually show affection? Are they openly romantic or more restricted with their affectionate emotions?

not in any healthy ways. can often lash out because emotions make them feel out of control and they want to regain the upper hand. very antagonistic. defensive of the ones they care about. will gladly punch them in the arm/insult them but if anyone else does? hell no. will do little things that show they know someones habits. grabbing the thing before they need it. know their order things like that (it's just because they pay attention okay and it's more efficient). does not want to talk about their feelings. ever. may try to distract from that by getting physical. that's easier to understand. just an urge nothing more.

25: How would your OC process the grief caused by the death of a loved one?

roux. roux. this is cruel. why would you ask this especially in the disaster throuple universe? Grief would be violent. anyone responsible will not be walking away from the situation. think really intense psychic bleed off. anyone nearby will probably feel and be effected by everything bleeding off of them. will want someone to blame. to direct the grief into anger. anger is an emotion they understand best. after the initial outburst may withdraw completely. try to shut down any emotions. they are what got them in this problem in the first place, made them feel things and now they are hurt. they were right to not trust emotions. to not trust connections, this is what they were afraid of. how much it could hurt.

I've always been addicted to fandoms, I use to follow a lot of series and it's very easy to me to grow fond of certain characters. The peculiar thing is, the characters I like the most are usually the ones who have something in common with me (might sound pretty vain, I know, but I'm ENTJ, I don't do it on purpose 😅)

So, my fav characters are figures I relate to. I've already came up with some who were so close to my personality that I was like "ehy, who's f***ing spying me?!"

Well, as you can assume by my fandom-themed profile, I recently started watching Peaky Blinders (I arrived shamefully late) and... What if I say I never saw the worst sides of my personality represented as well as in the character of Thomas Shelby?

Alright, I'm pretty different irl, I'm mostly cheerful and talkative, I'm not the head of any criminal organization (yet), I'm not even that manipulative and I prefer Scotch whisky.

But for the rest... I seriously had to stop the show in many points because seeing some scenes was actually too much. Especially when it came to see the worst parts of Tom's personality, I actually felt awkward watching at something I'd do irl but from an outside critical pov.

First of all, I totally understand that obsession for control, especially after having been through a really hard time. Not going to bother you with my personal story, but I actually lived a bad situation years ago and when it finished I literally told myself "alright, now I'm taking everything under my control, nothing will ever be able to break me again". So that's it, I want/need to have most of things in hand to feel secure.

Feelings? Total control on them too. It's impressivly possibile to put rationality over emotions sometimes. But possible doesn't mean functional. And although it's easy for me to appear calm and balanced to strangers, people next to me will always notice my real state, even more than myself sometimes...

And another thing: I NEED to give a f***ing SENSE to anything I do, I live from purpose to purpose, in the middle there's reaching for the following purpose 😅

I actually think Tommy's character is highly realistic, that's what impresses me the most. His reactions, his way of facing things, his vulnerabilities and bad and good sides, they actually did a stunning job in making a non-existing man so credible. And from some point of view... It has been extremely useful to me. Sounds trivial, but it's easier to understand you more and find on which aspects of yours you should work on when you see someone who's similar to you represented.

Now. I'm 28 going for 29 now, if Peaky Blinders taught me something, I'm in the right age to start my climbing for becoming a goddess (and won't promise I'm not trying 😏)🍷 in the meantime, I'll just use my little free time to work on fanarts 😂 next one will be Polly ❤ so keep following, I swear I'm not writing any other stupid thing like this 😂

There are no words to even begin to explain to you how head over heels I am with this story

And still, I will try my damn hardest to tell you. Huge spoilers ahead (I’ll try my best to be vague)

From the very first chapter in the first part of the series, I was completely hooked. I knew this series would be my downfall and boooooy was it

This universe the author has created is so immersive and you can’t help but want to learn more about all the creatures in it, how they operate and how the rules set within that “society” affect the characters lives. I think it was such an important subject to touch on, how even those who were supposed to watch over humans, be and do good are not 100% pure and saint as they are forced to by standards

Same goes with the supposed to be bad guys

From the get go you start noticing, both in the protagonist and the secondary characters, that not everything has to be strictly good or strictly bad. The angels like to let loose and party, the demons can be fueled to protect (even if they cause harm in the way)

Angels buying drugs tho? This was my favorite contrasting concept istg😂

Then you have this story that puts Romeo and Juliet and any other pairing to shame. My GOD, these two. You can FEEL the love they have for one another, you want them to prevail together and go against any and all odds to do so. Their relationship is so insanely sweet and romantic. Although it could be seen at first as both bringing out the worst of each other, later on you will realize that they’re just proving to everyone that they’re flawed and it’s okay. An angel can feel anger, a demon can be kind: and it’s fine. No one is one extreme or the other, it’s simply not realistic

Even when that damned council showed up, you can tell they’re not all 100% good (LOOKING AT YOU MISS ELIZA, YOU PIECE OF SHIT)

Hell, even the meanest (and frankly, scariest) demon that was Jungkook was shown in a friendly light, proven to be able to be sweet and supportive regardless of his demonic ways in the story

Another things I can’t not touch on are the parallels between their life together as supernatural creatures to being reborn. It’s all very heartbreaking yet beautiful and so beautiful. I think I’ve lost count on how many times I screamed or cried to this story and details like that

How the story connects to current and future spin-offs was also a really great touch. Cant wait for what else the author has in store for us within the Tempting universe

I think this is probably the pairing I’ve rooted for the most in all stories I’ve ever read. We have yet to find out if in their previous lives they were together too (my theory is their deaths were related to one another!! Dying the same day and basically being soulmates? That’s no coincidence!!), but you see them fight for each other, for their love every single chance at living that they get, no matter who or what stands in the way of it

Having read the first part and now these three chapters of the second one, it becomes so evident how there’s forces watching them relive their story, even if their love doesn’t have that many fans in the supernatural world. Everyone they once knew are definitely keeping an eye out for those too, no doubt about it

Ahhhhh! I’m just absolutely in love with them, the love they share and how earnest in fighting for it they are :’)

Also, the detail about Jimin? The daffodils? Just rip my heart out of my chest, it hurts less

I am so ready to see how this story continues to unfold after hiatus. The author has done an outstanding job in creating this universe, I’m very excited to see what else comes from it

I sure know I’m rooting for them reuniting with their friends again at some point and succeeding in proving the supernatural councils that nothing is so black and white!!

Do yourself a favor and start reading the Tempting and Too Tempting series. This has become one of, if not my favorite series ever in here. Highly recommend!!

Go shower the author with loooooove! And remember: the story is in hiatus, don’t pester the author asking for updates!!

Grace and I packed our bags and bid Guyi farewell soon after Taehyung’s unexplained disappearance. We were heading back home for the weekend as Halloween was tomorrow on Sunday.

We were 30 minutes into our drive when I finally told Grace about my all night encounter with the infamous Kim Taehyung.

“What?! What the fuck do you mean he spent the night?” She squawked in disbelief, body now fully turned to face me from her spot in the passenger seat.

Grace, incredibly, had failed her driver’s test a whopping four times. She claimed it was due to the fact that every instructor had conspired to fail her, but I experienced Grace’s driving first hand and could confirm she was just that bad of a driver.

I gripped the steering wheel in between my hands, my eyes focused on the road.

“There’s no need to be vulgar, Grace.” I sighed.

Grace scoffed in exasperation, “Oh, spare me the lecture. How the hell did Kim fucking Taehyung end up at our dorm… Y/N did you fuck–”

Some Other Things About Me: CM Edition

Okay, so I figured it’d be a good idea to lay out some important things about me and CM

Initially when was watching the show, I didn’t really ship anyone in particular but since coming to Tumblr, I feel like my neutrality when it comes to ships on the show has been tainted lol

I’m going to try my best not to discriminate so I’ll post evenly if it’s something regarding ships but for the most part I probably won’t just to avoid any drama or chaos about it

Obviously I’m in love with Derek Morgan but I love ALL the BAU boys😌 Derek just has a special place in my heart lol

I LOVE GARCIA, JJ, and EMILY!! Those are my girls! Don’t get me wrong, I love Tara and Kate and Alex ofc, but those three are my OG girls (you may occasionally see me complaining about Garcia but it’s all in good fun, I love her lol)

I’m a Reid fan for sure, but Morgan will always be my number one, and recently with all the Hotch content I’ve been seeing lately, I think Hotch has silently crawled into that #2 spot that Reid was sitting comfortably at🤷🏽‍♀️😂Love Papa Rossi too ofc💀

Season 7 is my favorite season but I love them all in general. Of course there are some episodes I like more than others or don’t care for as much as I do others, but that’s typical I guess

My favorite episode is a tight tie between Mr.Scratch and It Takes a Village (if my header didn’t give it away lol), but the season finales for season 7 and 8 and 9 are all a tie of second place for me

I love me some Dr. Tara Lewis! (I didn’t like that wig they put on my good sis when she first came to the show but my love for her trumps my hate for that wig lol

I don’t think I have a least favorite character on the show (I literally love everyone lol) but I’m sure as it may come up through my rewatch that there have been certain moments where I’m not a big fan of a character but it’s always temporary lol

I’m not great at making gifs😭but I’m gonna try my best cause it’s a great way to destress from schoolwork sometimes. If I don’t get to it then I may try to make some once the semester is over. If anyone is a gif maker and wants to give me some tips or advice, feel free to do so! I wanna learn😂

In this place we love and respect Mrs.Savannah Morgan😌 I love her and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t wanna be her😂so there will be no Savannah slander here

I don’t want to hate on any characters or ships because I love everyone on the show pretty equally, with the exception of Derek, so because of that I’d appreciate it if no one brings any hate onto them here either. I want to make this a safe space.

My opinion on the whole reboot rumors: I joined the CM bandwagon super late, so ofc I’d LOVE to see a reboot, but realistically, I doubt it’s gonna happen. But I hope I’m proven wrong! It’ll only be good (to me, at least) if they bring back the original cast (which they most likely won’t). If they did decide to bring the show back, if there’s no elite 7 then I want nothing to do with it lol

I am a proud Elle Greenaway fan😂sis didn’t have to go out the way she did, I can only imagine how great the dynamic between her and Prentiss would’ve been😭

At first I didn’t like Gideon😂I thought he was kinda weird and rude but after a couple of episodes I got really used to him and found him pretty amusing. When he left I wasn’t super sad or anything, but when he died I felt more upset for Reid’s sake more than anything 😭 Funny guy though, odd but funny lol

I love Kate and wished she stayed longer, same with Alex and STEPHEN!! I LOVED STEPHEN! My heart literally shattered when he died😭 he deserved better, they did him so dirty on the show

By now, you can probably assume I was completely heartbroken when Morgan left (which I totally was, I literally had to take a break from watching for at least a week straight) but for some reason, the nail in the coffin for me was Hotch leaving not long after, only to be replaced by Prentiss. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Emily and all, but idk, the show just never really felt the same to me after those two left. I still watched it of course but those two being gone was just a sore spot I never think I truly got completely over🤷🏽‍♀️ (I’m well aware of the whole Thomas Gibson drama and everything but the way he was written off was just so tragic, I personally liked the Mr.Scratch story a lot so I thought they could really get somewhere with it had he stayed. I get why he had to go but I guess I just regret that he had to leave🤷🏽‍♀️ (My Hotch favoritism might be showing a bit here😂)
