MASTERLIST // PART 1 // PART 3
“What do you mean he sent you a good morning text?” Jo asked, almost choking on her toast.
“He asked for my number last night,” Y/N explained, her hands shaking while she tried to unlock her phone, “and when I woke up, I had a text from him saying good morning and wishing me a good day.”
“Damn the boy is a keeper,” her friend whistled and winked at her after she read the message.
“He told me he wanted to FaceTime.”
She sat on the stool next to where her best friend was sitting and rested her chin on her hand. The butterflies in her stomach felt more like hundreds of bees buzzing fiercely in there.
“And you?” Jo questioned with an intrigued look on her face, “do you wanna do it?”
“I think so,” Y/N answered, biting the inside of her cheek, “he’s really cute, and I had fun texting last night.”
“Well that’s a new one,” the ginger girl joked. All their friends knew how much Y/N hated texting, leaving messages on read for days, or taking absolutely forever to respond. She always felt weird texting, not knowing very well how to keep the conversation going over text.
“Tell him you have thirty minutes, and then you have to go do something else,” Y/N furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and Jo rolled her eyes, “that way if you don’t feel comfortable you have an easy exit.”
“And what if I’m enjoying it?” Jo looked at her as if she was trying to explain how the water cycle worked to a kid, “Jo I’m being serious!”
“In that case, my love, you hang up and call him again after you tell me everything.”
“Who said I was gonna tell you anything, uh?” Y/N smirked and blew her a kiss after her friend gave her an offended look.
“Whatever, Y/N,” Jo flipped her off, “just tell him your professor was sick or something like that.”
“You’re a lifesaver, did I tell you that?” Y/N kissed her friend’s cheek and then jumped off, “I’m gonna go take a shower, see you later.”
“See you later, babe,” Jo said, “don’t forget to eat!”
“I won’t!” Y/N yelled, on her way to the bathroom they shared.
Y/N: Good morning! Hope you have a great day too
She smiled satisfied at her reply and hit the send button.
Y/N couldn’t remember the last time she felt so giddy about a guy, it was exciting, to say the least. Charlie seemed like an easygoing person and really easy to talk to. Sure she was nervous talking to him, but who wouldn’t? The guy was super cute and so nice to her, she already knew she’d be crushing hard.
Thirty minutes later, she was on her way to class with time to go to her favorite coffee shop and have a quick breakfast.
Charlie: Didn’t think you’d answer me so early hahaha Y/N: I have a class in like 20 minutes, wouldn’t have woken up this early if i didn’t have class lol Charlie: So you’re not a morning person Y/N: Oh no, absolutely not!!
She smiled at the boy in the cashier and laughed softly when he asked her if she was ordering the same thing she always did.
“Oh, can you add a brownie please?” Y/N asked politely, while she looked for her card on her bag. After paying for her food, she went to one of the tables in the back.
Charlie: Noted! I swear i try to not wake up early but i can’t Y/N: I bet you’re the kind of friend that wakes everyone up with a lot of noise Charlie: How did ya know that hahahaha Y/N: I was just guessing, but you do seem like a loud person Charlie: I am, i won’t try to deny it Charlie: What about you?? Y/N: Mmm Y/N: It depends Y/N: But my laugh is extra loud, so I can’t say I’m a quiet girl
“Vanilla latte!” Y/N put away her phone and stood up to get her order.
“Thanks, Dylan,” she thanked the boy and grabbed a few napkins before making her way back to her table.
Charlie: I bet your laugh is really cute
Her cheeks were burning after that message, and it took her a couple of minutes to tame the butterflies in her stomach before she was able to type a response. Because as much as she wanted to laugh it off and change the topic, she knew he was flirting with her and if she didn’t flirt back, their conversation was basically dead.
Y/N: Guess you’ll have to find out yourself ;).
That was a nice reply, right? She screenshotted their chat and sent it to Jo. If anyone knew how to flirt while texting, it was her best friend.
Y/N: How does it look? Is it too much?? Too little?? Y/N: H E L P
Jo’s response was quick as always. One of the many reasons she loved her.
Jo: Girl it’s fine Jo: Stop worrying about it Jo: It’s mysterious and a good way to tell him you wanna FaceTime Y/N: Ok ok thank you love ya Jo: Love you more
Checking the hour on her phone, Y/N finished her bagel and gathered her stuff. She waved Dylan goodbye and left the coffee shop. She spent more time than she expected to in there and if she didn’t hurry she’d be late for class.
It was times like this one that made her regret not knowing how to drive because even if all her classmates liked the Lyft program they had for free, she still felt unsafe getting in the car without a friend.
Back in the day, when she was still dating Lance, he’d made sure to call her and talk to her during the whole ride to wherever Y/N needed to go just to make her feel safe. After all, he was never a bad boyfriend, their paths just went in different ways and they both wanted different things in life.
Charlie: Yeah i guess Charlie: What if i call you later when you’re done with your classes??Charlie: No pressure
She could feel the blood rushing to her cheeks for the second time in less than an hour and had to bite her lip to stop herself from smiling.
Y/N: Sure, i’ll let you know once i’m done Y/N: But i have to say bye for now Y/N: Gotta pay attention haha Charlie: Get that degree! Charlie: Talk to you later!
Focusing on whatever her professor was saying was a hard task, she just wanted to pull her phone out and text Charlie, see what he was up to and get home as soon as possible, so they could FaceTime.
Sitting on the edge of her seat, she couldn’t help but bounce her leg to relieve the eagerness rushing through her veins. She still had fifteen minutes left, and then she’d be sprinting out of the classroom and going back to her apartment.
“Dude, do you gotta use the bathroom or what?” Sadie, the girl she always sat with during class, whispered through gritted teeth.
“Sorry,” she apologized, crossing her legs to stop herself from bouncing her leg. Although the new position didn’t stop her from moving her foot.
“What’s up with you?” Sadie snorted once she realized Y/N couldn’t sit still.
“Nothing,” she replied quickly, scribbling on her notebook the pages she needed to read for the next class, “I just wanna go home.”
“But you have never been this eager to leave this class,” the girl commented without looking at her, too focused on taking notes, “you love this class.”
“I don’t know,” Y/N let out a sigh and checked the hour on her watch, “I just don’t feel like sitting here right now.”
Her classmate didn’t make another comment about her eagerness to leave the classroom, she just nodded her head as if she was telling her she understood.
“I think that’s all for today, guys,” the professor mentioned, leaning on the desk, “have a good day, and don’t forget to read the articles I mentioned.”
Y/N hurried to gather her things and waved Sadie goodbye before walking as fast as she could to the door. She needed to leave before the halls flooded with students. Y/N considered taking the stairs instead of the elevator but knowing how clumsy she could be, she opted for the latter. Falling down the stairs wasn’t on her plans.
Twenty minutes and a mile later, she dropped her keys on the bowl next to the door of her apartment and kicked off her shoes. She checked her out in the full-length mirror Jo had in their living room and shrugged. Charlie knew she was a college student, and it wouldn’t be weird to see her wearing a hoodie with her college’s logo, also, she was comfy and didn’t want to change into something else.
She fixed her hair and made sure she didn’t have smudged mascara under her eyes and then made herself comfortable on the couch.
Y/N: Just made it home
Y/N: That was one hell of a long class haha
She bit her nails, the nervousness kicking in while she waited for a response from Charlie. Maybe he was busy now that she wasn’t. God if their schedules didn’t let them at least FaceTime, she felt like she’d start crying and delete the app. It wasn’t like she was talking to other guys though.
Charlie: Finally!! Charlie: Wanna FaceTime?? Or are you tired?
“Fuck no,” she whispered to herself before she started writing her reply.
Y/N: Nah! Let's FaceTime
Her heart started pounding on her chest when the video call entered and the phone started vibrating in her hand.
“Shit, shit, shit,” she cursed before putting a smile on her face and answering the call. “Hey!”
Holy shit. His pictures didn’t make him justice.
“How you doin’?” Charlie said and her cheeks blushed.
“It’s that a Friends reference?” she asked trying to hide her smile.
“I swear I don’t mean it in that way,” he laughed, and the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled made her heart flutter. “But seriously, how was your day?”
“It was good even though I hate waking up early,” the way Charlie was looking at her with so much attention, even if it was through a screen it made her feel so confident, “I had breakfast at this little coffee shop near my apartment and then went to class.”
“But that sounds like a nice morning,” Charlie mentioned, his sweet smile never leaving his face.
“What were you up to anyway?”
“Not much actually,” he shrugged and the gesture made him look young, “I went for a run, then I had to film some tapes for a few auditions, and now I’m chilling.”
“You’re an actor,” Y/N pointed out, not even surprised about the new information he just revealed. It was Los Angeles after all.
“I am,” he smiled, and she swore she could see a pink tint on his cheeks, “I started back in Canada when I was about fourteen or fifteen.”
“Any chances I’ve watched it?” Charlie scrunched his nose and shook his head.
“Maybe, if you are into foreign films,” Y/N tilted her head confused at his answer, “It’s in French.”
“You learned how to speak in French for the movie?” Y/N furrowed her eyebrows together when Charlie started laughing.
“I grew up speaking French and English,” he explained with a soft smile, “I’m French Canadian.”
“That makes a lot more sense now,” she laughed off her embarrassment, “I’m gonna blame the fact that I woke up early today. I’m not this dumb, I swear.”
“Don’t worry,” he said and the smile faded just enough for her to notice his intense stare, “I thought it was cute.”
She bit her lip at his words and tried to look away from the screen, but Charlie’s eye contact felt as if he was looking right into her soul and she couldn’t break that connection even if she wanted to. And she definitely didn’t want to do that.

My One And Only - Chapter 9
Previous | Next
So this chapter is longer than chapter 8 and I think from next chapter, they got longer. As we get closer to the chapter I’m currently writing, the frequent updates will unfortunately die. Just letting you know so you won’t be too disappointed! Oh and my Wattpad name is the same, ‘yannowhatigiveup’. If you know any way I can improve my writing please do tell me!
Gabriel Agreste stood in his observatory after recently detransforming. 'She can control her emotions well but when she's angry, it's incredibly strong. This girl could be one of the strongest in Paris, she could be one that senses auras. I must find a way. I will use her to eliminate all of heroes. All I need is time'.
————————————————————
The bluenette sat in her uncle Jagged's hotel room, tapping a pen against her lips while watching the conversation, well it was more like an argument, between Jagged and his manager Bob Roth. Bob was stating that they should leave the song writing to the professionals while Jagged protested, saying that his niece was overflowing with talent and that she could do it no problem. Penny was on the phone with someone but Marinette didn't eavesdrop in her conversation. She stated at the blank notebook in front of her, eyeing it suspiciously. Then she got an idea and began scribbling down the lyrics she had in mind, not knowing that she had unintentionally gained the attention of everyone in the room. She managed to write the whole song in one sitting which was very impressive even for professional song writers at the time. "Did it" she said putting the pen down. Penny then came over to take the notebook and read what the bluenette had written. 'I hope it's ok'
"Wow Mari, this is great!" Penny said her mouth agape. She passed it to Jagged but Bob had snatched it out of his hands, only to give it back when Fang looked at him hungrily.
"Yeah, this is rock'n roll Nettie!" He praised her while giving his manager a 'I told you so' look.
"Yes this is exactly what we needed, a little change in the album. Thank you for this Marinette. We shall produce the song while you can sing the lyrics-"
"If that's alright will you of course" Jagged said, interrupting his manager.
Marinette nodded hesitantly. "I can give it a shot" she murmured.
Marinette walked home after visiting Jagged and showing Damian the designs she had in plan for his brothers, without showing the design she made for him. She was careful not to shake her purse too much as Tikki was sleeping, it was a busy day for the kwami as Marinette had let her go visit Plagg for some 'Kwami business'. Marinette didn't press for answers though. Soon she entered her parents bakery to find them already there, waiting for her.
"Maman, Papa what is it?" She asked.
"Your father and I are discussing if we should open a second bakery" Sabine answered enthusiastically.
"There's a few spots available in Marseille, we already booked a flight and a hotel to stay at" Tom answered, maybe even more excited than his wife.
"That's great! But isn't Marseille far away? It's closer to Italy than Paris" Marinette answered.
"Well surprisingly, we're already well known there" Tom replied.
"Oh cool! When will you be leaving?"
"On Saturday at 2 am" Her mother replied. "It's late but it was the next available flight. We'll be gone for a week maybe longer depending on all the paper work"
"Well you better start packing then!" Marinette said happy for both her parents. "I'll be going to bed now. Good night!" She hugged both her parents before going upstairs to change and finishing up her designs.
~~~
Adrien sat in front of his computer early before school, looking through all of Kagami's recent posts and he liked the photo that she posted yesterday, the photo was of when they went for ice cream earlier today. Alya and Nino were also in the picture, smiling for the camera but Adrien noticed someone else in the background. 'Marinette...' She was eating her ice cream, unbeknownst to the picture being taken, with the spoon still in her mouth. Adrien felt distracted by the way the sun reflected off her hair. He loved Kagami truly but his new love for Marinette shadowed it. "Plagg" Adrien said. "I think I have a thing for bluenettes".
"So your type is blue-haired girls? What makes you say that?" The kwami replied, not really enjoying the conversation.
"Well I like Ladybug, Kagami and Marinette and they all have one thing in common. They all have blue hair" Adrien sighed. "The last thing I need is another blue-haired girl to come into my life"
"Ughhh this is too cheesy, I much prefer actual cheese" Plagg groaned while looking around for Camembert.
Adrien sighed, smiling while going back to think of the girls he liked. He liked Ladybug for her quick, sly and smart nature. Kagami was incredibly skilled and very easy to relate to. And Marinette had a kind personality as well as unmatchable beauty. He couldn't decide which one he liked most as all the options were as great as the others. Then a notification on his computer distracted him from his thoughts. It was a notification that Jagged Stone had posted something. 'Huh, I wonder what it could be'
~~~
Jason was flicking through the channels on the TV, looking for something interesting to watch when a notification appeared on his phone. 'What's this?' He then realised that it was a trending post from Jagged Stone and went to view it. "HOLY SH-"
"Master Jason, language"Alfred reminded him.
"Oh yeah sorry" he whispered before shouting again. "HOLY MOTHER OF UM SOMETHING!"
Dick and Tim then entered the room, wondering what Jason was talking about. "What?" Dick asked.
Jason then connected his phone to the TV and showed the post he was talking about.
@official_jaggedstone
(Photo of a blue-haired girl with a medium long braid and her back facing the camera, writing on something)
Wonder what MDC is writing up for the bonus track? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
All three of the boys then fanboyed over finally being able to see what their favourite designer, and idol, looked like. Alfred then sighed while exiting the room.
"She's pretty!"
"She looks smart!"
"What's she writing?"
"I'm gonna call Damian, that room looks similar to the room he's staying in"
"Yes do, I want to pester him"
Dick then dialed a number on his phone. After a few rings, the phone finally answered.
"Tt, Yes?" A stern voice came through on the other side.
"HAVE YOU SEEN JAGGED'S RECENT POST!?" Tim shouted into the microphone.
~~~
Damian had already seen Jagged's post, he smiled to himself. He was about to go back to reading his book when his phone rang. He would've picked it up straight away if he hadn't see the name, it was Dick. He let the phone ring for a little while before answering.
"Tt, Yes?" He said in a stern voice.
"HAVE YOU SEEN JAGGED'S RECENT POST!?" Luckily Damian had the phone further away from his ear otherwise Tim would've exploded his eardrums.
"What about it?"
"He posted an image of MDC, the very first one ever on the internet!" Dick answered excitedly. "There aren't any pictures of her anywhere".
Damian smiled to himself knowing that he had seen MDC before his brothers, he had seen her smile. "There aren't?"
"Yeah! Weird right? She doesn't even show up to Jagged's live performances!" It was Jason's turn to speak now.
"Well I'm sure she goes to the performances, she's just never seen" Tim told his brother in a matter-of-fact way.
Damian rolled his eyes. "Tt, bye now" he said, immediately turning his phone off not allowing any of his brothers to protest. He then texted Marinette.
Me: Just got off the phone with my brothers, they were fanboying over you.
Surprisingly Marinette replied straight away.
Angel: They are too? Everyone is fangirling over MDC
Me: Because of Jagged's post, he posted a picture of you. The back of your head specifically
Angel: Oh hah I see it now, I guess that has to be my signature hairstyle as MDC now.
Me: It looks great on you though
Angel: You really think so?
Me: Mhm
Angel: Aw, thanks
~~~
Marinette had blushed when Damian said she looked good in that hairstyle. She really liked him. Then Marinette looked at the time, she was early for once. She decided to make use of this and get ready for school. She had finished getting ready quickly and she was able to walk instead of run to school like she usually did. When she entered, she noticed that there was barely anyone here. 'Perfect! I can work on my designs' that was until a familiar face showed up.
"Hey girl! You're here early wow!" The sound of her best friend made Marinette laugh until her facial expression changed from surprised to smug. Marinette was about to ask but Alya had brought her to the locker room where they were alone. "So girl, spill"
"What?"
"Do you like Chat Noir?"
Marinette giggled but she saw her best friend's face. "Oh you're not joking"
"Nope, now you can tell me so that I can get you both on a date." She blushed profusely. "And I ain't backing down, I've spent too much time on trying to find out who he is. Don't think I haven't noticed how you're jumping at anytime to be with this boy." She said the last statement with a soft voice.
Marinette sighed, grateful of her best friend but hesitant to tell her without Damian's permission as he never seemed like one for social interaction. "I'll ask" she said while taking her phone out.
Me: Shaytan, my best friend found out that I've been sneaking off to go see you.
Shaytan: Césaire?
Me: Yeah
Shaytan: You said she wanted to be a reporter right? Well then I guess this is expected, she did a good job.
Me: So should I tell her your name?
Shaytan: That's up to you
Me: Ok thanks!
Marinette put her phone away and looked at her best friend.
"So?" Alya asked. "Can you tell me?"
Marinette nodded. "So um, his name is D-Damian"

———
Why were you here again?
Oh right, cause you’re a giant nerd who needs an outlet.
The poster had caught your eye when you were headed to lunch one day. It was a beige poster with a 20 sided dice in the middle. That was what got your attention.
You had played Dungeons and Dragons with some of your friends before. It has been a few months since your last campaign and you didn’t know when the next one would start. So, in fear of not being able to escape to a fantasy world, you decided to check it out.
It was now 3:45 in the afternoon. School had ended 15 minutes ago, the hours ticking by slowly. You now stood outside of the AP Government classroom where Mr. Jung taught.
The poster, you remembered, said that Mr. Jung would oversee the club. He was your favorite teacher because he was funny and the class was enjoyable.
Finally, you slowly opened the door to the classroom and stepped in. In the middle of the room, a few desks had been pushed together to create a large table.
Sitting around the table were seven boys who were all staring at you. You awkwardly shifted your weight from one foot to the other, waiting for literally anyone to say something.
“Is this the d&d club?” You finally spoke.
“Y-yes,” the only boy who was standing said. You recognized him as Mark Lee. The cute, smart boy from calculus. “Yes, uh, grab a seat.”
You nodded and dragged a chair over to the only empty spot at the table. It was right next to Chenle, the loud basketball player you shared chemistry with.
“Well I’m pretty sure that we all know each other,” Mark said clearing his throat. “I’m not gonna make us do ice breakers cause literally no one likes those.”
“I do!” Haechan, the class clown that you also shared chemistry with.
“Only you,” Jeno, the star basketball player and probably the last person you expected here, commented. Haechan pouted and stuck his tongue out at Jeno.
“Anyway,” Mark said. “It’s my fist time DMing, but I have played before. Just so I know, who here has played before?”
You, along with Jisung, the quiet kid from history, Haechan, and Renjun, the kid from math who doesn’t do math but draws, raised your hands. Mark seemed to relax a bit when he saw there were at least a few experienced players.
“Well I guess this first meeting will be going over rules and how to play, then next time we’ll do character sheets,” Mark said.
———
It was now the third session and the first one of the start of you campaign. Last time, everyone made their characters, the atmosphere becoming less tense as time went on.
You made your character an Elf Wizard, something you’ve never played before. Everyone else had their own unique character combos, having fun coming up with the most ridiculous names for them.
Today, the party was slightly buzzing with excitement to finally start their campaign. You all gathered around the table giving character introductions, ready to get this show on the road.
Three hours, several rolls for initiative, and Haechan’s character almost dying later, Mr. Jung had to finally kick you all out of the building. The sun had already set and he was letting you way past what was allowed.
You realized how late it actually was and scrambled to get your stuff. You said a quick goodbye to the boys and Mr. Jung and sped off to get home before your parents killed you.
You get a ways down the hall when you heard someone running behind you.
“Y/n, wait up!” You turned to see Mark jogging to catch up with you. He stopped in front of you, breathing slightly harder. “Hi.”
“Hi,” you said back, smiling at the cute boy. You’ve never really had a full conversation with Mark. He’s quiet and, honestly, talking to someone attractive was a bit out of the realm of your comfort zone.
“C-can I have your number?” He said. Your eyes went wide and as did his when he realized what that sounded like. “So that I can add you to the group chat! Just in case anyone can’t make it or we cancel.”
“Yea, sure,” you said, slightly disappointed. You heard Mark exhale probably in relief that his save worked. You handed him your phone with your number displayed on the screen and he quickly put it in his.
“Thanks,” Mark said, handing you back your phone. You both stood there in the most suffocatingly awkward silence ever.
“Well bye,” you said turning to leave.
“Oh! Yea, uh, bye,” Mark said waving slightly. He turned back towards Mr. Jung’s room and you saw the other six boys crowded around. They were all giggling as Mark shoved that back into the room.
———
Six sessions and three weeks later, any morsel of awkwardness was gone. It was like you have known these seven boys your whole life.
The group chat blew up your phone with memes from that days session but didn’t you mind? No. Though sometimes at ungodly hours in the mornings, you still enjoyed the content.
On this particular day, you weren’t going to be able to join the session. Your calculus teacher was making you stay after school and retake a test that you failed miserably. You felt bad when you hand to text the group.
You: I can’t make it today
Haechan☀️: whyyyyyyy
You: I failed a calc test
You: I have to retake it
Lele🐬: thats stupid
Sungie: good luck Y/n
Injunie: yea gl
You: thanks boys
Marker: hey if you need any help studying for calc, I’d be happy to
jeNO: oh?
You: yea I’d like that, thanks
Minnie: ann I oop-
You laughed at Jaemin’s comment as you made your way to your calculus teachers classroom.
———
Considering the second time you took the test you barely past by the seat of your pants, you took Mark up on his offer to tutor you.
Today was the first day Mark was going to tutor you in the library. You walked in and saw him already set up at one of the tables in the very back.
“Hey,” you whispered. He smiled at you as you sat down next to him.
“Hey,” he said back. “Ready to get started?”
After about an hour and a half of Mark explaining different theorems to you, you were finally starting to get it. Whenever you asked a question, Mark would take the time to explain it to you carefully, making sure you got it along the way.
When he would give you a problem to solve, and you got it right, both of you would get excited, annoying the librarian. She ended up shushing you more than once.
“Hey, you hungry?” Mark asked.
“Not really,” you said. As if on cue, your stomach slightly growled, making Mark laugh. You looked down at your stomach, a pout on your face. “Traitor.”
“Come on,” Mark said between giggles. “Let’s get something to eat.”
You got your things and headed out of the library with Mark to get food.
———
For the next three weeks, this became your tradition. On the days the D&D club wasn’t meeting, you and Mark would study calculus in the library for about two hours, and then go get food. It always felt like a lot less time with Mark, him always making it enjoyable.
Today, you had a study session with Mark. As you neared the library, you noticed him standing outside the doors on his phone.
“Hey, what are you doing?” You asked. “I have a test tomorrow.”
“I know,” Mark said putting his phone away. “But you need a break.”
“Mark-“ you whined.
“No,” he said. “I think that you’re ready. You’ve made a lot of progress over the last couple weeks. Besides, they say you shouldn’t study the night before a test.”
“I don’t think that’s a thing,” you said crossing your arms.
“Maybe, I don’t know,” Mark said waving it off. “But, I do know that you’ve worked hard and whatever grade you get, I’m proud of you.”
You could feel your cheeks heating up at Mark’s words. You bit back a smile as he continued.
“So tonight we are not studying,” Mark said grabbing your hand and leading you away from the library. “We are going to the basketball game with the others to cheer on Chenle and Jeno.”
You didn’t protest as Mark led you down to the packed gym and over to where the rest of the boys were sat, waiting for the game to start.
———
After the game where your boys won, the party went out for dinner. Afterwards, Mark drove you home, the two of you talking about the game, D&D, or literally anything.
When Mark pulled into your driveway, he insisted on walking you to your steps. He said it was the gentlemanly thing to do.
“Hey,” Mark said when you got to your front door. “Good luck tomorrow.”
“Thanks,” you said.
“Tell me how it goes, ok?” He said. You nodded giving him a smile that he returned. “Good night.”
“Night,” you called after him as he went to his car.
———
At the end of the day, your calculus teacher had finished grading the tests. She told everyone to come pick them up before they left school.
When she handed your test to you, she had a big smile on her face. She made a comment about how nicely you did and how much you improved. When you finally saw the grade, you nearly passed out.
You practically ran to Mr. Jung’s room. D&D was today and you wanted to show Mark you grade. You arrived at his classroom, bouncing into the room.
“Well someone looks happy,” Jaemin commented.
“Did something mean happen?” Jisung asked. You stuck your tongue out at the younger boy making everyone laugh.
You made you way to Mark at the head of the table, him watching you with a smile. When you reached him, you slapped the paper with a big 90% scribbled at the top down in front of him.
“All thanks to you,” you said as he continued to stare at the paper.
“I told you so,” Mark said standing up. He caught you by surprise when he gave you a hug. “I’m proud of you.”
“Ugh, just date already,” Haechan commented from his chair. You and Mark pulled apart making a face at the boy, but avoiding each other’s eyes.
It’s not that you were entirely opposed to dating Mark. You just didn’t know if he felt the same way. And he didn’t. Right?
———
You and Mark continued your study sessions even after you proved you didn’t need to. You both agreed that it was to benefit both of you and not just an excuse to hang out.
One day, while walking out of calculus with Renjun, the boy made a comment that rocked your world.
“He likes you, ya know,” Renjun said.
“W-what,” you sputtered turning to him.
“Mark, he likes you,” He clarified. “I know like bro code, I’m not supposed to tell you or whatever, but I see the way you two look at each other. We all do. You should ask him out. He’d say yes.”
You stopped dead in your tracks thinking for a second. On one hand, this plan that you were formulating could embarrass you. On the other, you could get a date with your dungeon master / calculus tutor / crush.
“Y/n?” Renjun said turning to you. You quickly turned on your heel and made a mad dash for Mark’s locker. “Y/n!”
———
As you speed walked to Mark, you saw him in the distance talking to Jeno and Jaemin. Mark spotted you coming to him and waved at you.
“Hey, Y/n what’s-“
“Do you want to go an a date with me?” You said quickly.
“W-what?” Mark said.
“Jeno, I think that’s our cue,” Jaemin said dragging Jeno away.
“Do you want to go in a date with me?” You asked again, slower this time. Mark looked at you wide eyed, like a dear in headlights.
“A-a date?” He asked. You nodded, not trusting your voice not to shake. “Wow.”
“Wow?” You asked.
“Sorry! Sorry, I just never thought you’d ask and I’d have to do it,” Mark said. “But yes, I’d love to go on a date.”
“Oh thank god,” you said leaning against the lockers. Mark laughed at your dramatic reaction. He wrapped his arm around your shoulder and turned you around to walk to lunch. As you turned, you and Mark stopped and saw the six other members of your party standing there amused.
“God, finally,” Haechan said.
“Took you long enough,” Chenle said.
As the eight of you walked to lunch, the boys continued to tease you and Mark. But when you looked up at him with his arm still around your shoulder, the teasing didn’t matter when Mark smiled at you.

11 ~ 3 In 1 ~ Piper Burst/Training Time/Added Member
Ok so I was still sad that I hadn’t included everything from the previous chapter so this may just be a shorter part 2, unless if I want to include the 3 in 1. Or both, both sounds good.
Word Count: 5381

Also, if you change your name please tell me, I don’t want to leave you out since you’ve asked to be tagged.
This fanfic and its ideas were all made after season 3 and before season 4/movie came out, so if something doesn’t add up please don’t worry. That information wasn’t available then, and unless it fits into my story or I like it, I won’t include it in my story.
.
Just so it's not too boring there won’t be an Akuma/Amok/Trinklet in every chapter. I may like fight/action scenes but too much isn’t good, kinda wish canon did that as well. So, I’m proposing that Hawkmoth won’t be making an Akuma every single day. Sorry canon, I don’t want my story to become repetitive. Probably the only other reason why is because I can’t think of any Akuma names/powers/reasons to be upset just for 1 time. Damnit, I have better things to do.
***
“Girls you need to wake up soon.” A voice shouted from downstairs. The three girls stirred awake.
“Ok, Maman sorry.” Marinette rushed downstairs in a panic, nearly tripping over the last step only to be caught by Rosina.
“C’mon Mari, let’s hurry,” Said girl pushed herself up and soon dressed in her usual attire. Yesterday was a hectic day, she hoped today would be much simpler.
No promises.
Kissing her Parents on their cheek, Rosina and Marinette prepared to leave, but someone tiny was following them.
“Oh Piper you can’t follow them, they have to go to Collège now. But you can stay with us and wait until they come home” Sabine crouched to her level and reached out her hand to pat her head.
But once again Piper grasped onto Rosina yet again, she wasn’t scared of Sabine, but she was still extremely cautious of everyone besides the redhead.
“Hey, Piper, its alright, it won’t be for that long” Rosina tried cooeing her, but she continued to grab onto her clothes.
“I don’t think she’s gonna let go” That could be a problem, if they left, they knew Piper would cry and may end up Akumatized, but they couldn’t skip Collège.
What to do what to do? …
“I know, I’ll call the college up and ask if you can bring Piper along, even if it's just for a short amount of time. Hopefully, by then, Piper will come out of her shell.” Sabine smiled towards the girls. She certainly didn’t want to make any of the girls uncomfortable, and she could tell how Piper wasn’t at ease around anyone besides Rosina and Marinette.
“Really? That would be so nice of you Sabine” Her smile widened as Marinette pounced on her Parents, exclaiming her gratitude as well.
“Well, we’ll cya later. Bye Maman, bye Papa” They waved, Piper copying the two as they took one step out.
“Marinette, Rosina! Now you have to explain!” A hand was pointed towards them by none other then Aurore.
“Aww she looks even cuter here”
“So, you weren’t kidding?” Marc stared in shock.
Who else had stopped them at the base of her door? Her friends of course. Of course, it had to be them, of course, they couldn’t wait until they got there.
Oh well, they would’ve had to tell them eventually right?
“Ok ok, we’ll tell you on the way” Piper was still shy and decided to bury herself in Rosina. They opted to tell them the same story Marinette told her Parents, after all, it would get too confusing if more stories were made.
“Soo Rosina just made a mistake? Good, we were worried you just took the girl from the street, man you got us worried” Marinette nervously gulped, if Rosina wasn’t as good a liar as she knew she was she’d think they would be in deep trouble.
“Is she alright? She does seem really scared” Marc asked worriedly, he knew the signs all too well.
“Yeah, she’s just really shy of new people, she always has” Rosina pat Piper’s head, and started to coax her into meeting her other friends. Saying things like they are just like Marinette and Chloé, and that they would never hurt her, and they would like her immediately, in fact, they do.
The three nodded but didn’t move so they wouldn’t alarm the girl. Piper peaked out of Rosina, gave them a slight wave in their direction, before turning back and hiding herself.
It was a good start the girls proposed.
“Aww, that was adorable.” Mireille cooed out. And Marc smiled. But Aurore noticed something tied around her waist. It looked… Like a mask.
.
Wait a minute!
“How does she have Crisono’s mask!?” Aurore didn’t mean to shout it, but the shock just overcame her.
Unfortunately for them, someone overheard that question.
“Who has Crisono’s mask?” The ombre haired girl asked, she had come up to the group, surprising them with her quickness and speed, she looked around before her eyes landed on Rosina and a kid she didn’t recognise.
“You have a Sister? No way me too. Tell me, is she a brat sometimes? Mine can be such a handful y’know, you can never get away from them to have some peace and quiet” Marinette's mouth hung wide open. The hell? How could that be the first thing she says? Yeah, siblings could be annoying (she didn’t know but with her sometimes babysitting Manon she could definitely say they could be a handful) but she couldn’t just outright say it!
“I know exactly how you feel, one of my Mother’s friends always asked me to babysit their kid and they could prove to be so much of a handful y’know. They eventually listened to me after so much time together they immediately grew to love me. But if you want, I could give you some tips?” Lila had entered the fray, and they hadn’t even processed it yet.
.
“Excuse you!?” It was Chloé. And boy did she look furious!
“There's one thing to intrude upon a conversation, there's another thing to just rudely cast your opinions upon a child!” Chloé prodded her fingers into the girl's chest, jabbering at her almost as much as her words.
“As if you can talk, you don’t even have a Sister. The most you had to take care off was your attitude, and even then, look where that got you” Alya jabbed back, as if she’d let Chloé of all people walk over her.
“Hey what the hell was that for? You were in the wrong first, and there's no need to fight in front of a child” Aurore jumped in, she saw the saddened face of the two girls and wanted to help. Her and Chloé may not see eye to eye but that didn’t mean she was going to leave her like that.
“Aurore I cannot believe you girl, I thought you had more sense than that. How can you stick up for Chloé after everything she’s done?” Alya held shock on her face, she thought Aurore was smarter than that, was she under the blonde and bluenette’s spell as well-
“That’s enough!” They all heard the voice, but were shocked at whom it was from. They all turned to look at Rosina, a wave of slight anger in her eyes they hadn’t seen before, two had and even they wished they could erase it from their memory.
The girl waltzed up to Chloé and Aurore, grabbed both their hands and walked off.
“We’re going to class so you can stop being mean to my friends” They walked off and into the school. Marinette, Mireille and Marc followed after them, surprised to see Rosina like that.
Alya and Lila stood there in shock, one noting that she wasn’t as much of an airhead as she thought, the other thinking maybe she had gone a bit too far with her comment about her Sister. Whatever the case, they decided to give her some space.
***
“Err… Rosy? Are you ok?” Marc was the first one to ask. Upon arriving in their classroom, it was empty, meaning they had some time before people would come crawling in. Maybe it would be good to meet up like this, so they didn’t have to wait for that one lunchtime to meet up.
To their luck, Piper didn’t understand the conversation they just had, and they were able to distract her with crayons and pieces of paper. She was drawing carefully for such a young person her age.
While she was in her element the rest grew concerned with Rosina’s outburst. They had never seen her like that, was it normal?
“Sorry, I just don’t like arguments. Me and Aunty never had them, so I really don’t like them… And I didn’t like that Alya called Piper a brat.” Mireille rested a hand on the girl's shoulder, trying to comfort her.
“It’s ok Rosina. I hate arguments as well, it's normal. So, if anything else ever makes you uncomfortable just tell us ok?” Rosy stared before her smile stretched across her face, quickly hugging her.
“You guys are the best” Mireille was surprised as her emotions were quickly changing.
“Group hug!” Someone shouted, she wasn’t sure who, but it didn’t matter, everyone was engulfed in arms.
.
.
“You too Chloé”
“Ahh! -” She slowly accepted her fate, though her clothes may be ruffled, for once she didn’t care about it. Baby steps.
Time passed as they all talked over plans to hang out, since it was a Monday they all planned to watch Rosina’s fencing match, D’Argencourt allowed them to as long as they were quiet and wouldn’t distract any other students, and afterwards meet up with Luka and Noémie. Kagami would already be there and by her Mother’s command have exactly 2 hours of free time with her friends on weekdays. And if she had finished her noble arts and studies earlier, she would have some extra hours at weekends. It was better than before so they were glad they could bring Kagami along.
They had planned on going to an arcade, there was a small one apparently Noémie knew about, somehow, she knew all the best places, she must’ve explored a bunch of unknown sites.
Rosina felt tugging from her top and looked down to see the black-haired girl hand her some paper. It held scribbles of flowers and stars drawn all around it. Marinette had a few picture books she had used for when Manon would be quiet, and she quite enjoyed them. Piper seemed to adore them as every one of her drawings contained it.
That’s right drawings.
“Aww Piper these are adorable”
“What a real artist”
“I know exactly what to buy you for your next birthday” Piper had made a drawing for each of them, so 6 in total. And they were all great. They all felt honoured she would draw for them.
Ring… Ring
The bell had rung signalling for them to attend their own classroom. As the three from Mendeleiev’s class began to exit the room a certain redhead arrived.
.
They stared for a bit, one glared while another tried to dodge the gaze. Aurore grabbed onto Marc’s hand and marched straight out of there, if Nathaniel wanted to believe a liar more than his friend then that was on him. He made his bed now he can lie in it. Mireille walked along with them, and away they went. Marinette was still disheartened about the whole thing, she wasn’t able to convince Nathaniel to change his mind, she didn’t know what exactly Lila had told him but whatever it was, had fully convinced him Marc had to go.
Even after everything they had been through, he chose to throw it all away.
But that was how life was.
More people filled the room, some were surprised to see a child, others hadn’t noticed, some had taken double takes but the teacher luckily entered and was able to explain everything… Even if Marinette could tell she wasn’t thrilled about the situation. Marinette didn’t say anything, I mean, she was just a child, who may have not been taken care of, who was she to deny the girl some affections from her newfound Sister?
***
“Did you enjoy today Piper?” The little girl nodded, a toy was cuddled up to the girl, a toy a certain blue-haired boy was able to win, earning the trust of the girl right away. Since Luka was the only one to have a sibling, that they knew of at least, and with Juleka being his Sister, he automatically knew how to get the girl to come out of her shell.
It was incredibly cute, even Chloé couldn’t deny it. Her little arms reaching around to hug the second eldest of the group. Piper may have been shy towards the teens at the start, but she became pretty social afterwards. Accepting hugs from all of them and even being carried by them, she was then considered the little Sister to them all. And although it took a while for Kagami to earn the girls trust, she loved her none the less. Noémie begged to take a picture of the cute girl as they all posed again before leaving.
And it was at that time Marinette noticed she started to smile, she had seen the girl looking at other people laughing and hugging others, Marinette thought maybe she was just glancing at a lot of things considering her age, but now she knew it was because she was intrigued and probably just wanted to do it herself.
It was surprisingly Chloé and Aurore who were able to produce the first smile, Piper had pointed to a toy with a female in a giant pink tutu and in such an elegant stance, it appeared she was beginning her own routine. She didn’t know what it was so the group explained ballet to her, Aurore suggested someone demonstrating so Piper could properly understand and selflessly volunteered Chloé for the job. The other blonde appeared to challenge the thought and smugly waltzed onto an empty DDR machine. She danced as they all wooed her, clapping’s and a lone whistle was heard. She also had an audience partaker; Rosina copied her movements perfectly. Piper widened her eyes, astonished of how cool and fun it looked.
“Wow,” She whispered, a small astonished smile appearing on her face, making Marinette notice and pick her up to join them.
.
.
But she was only able to make everyone else unbalanced and all of them fell onto the floor in a pile. But they all laughed, her clumsiness was well known at this point, what else could they say?
When Piper waddled up to Chloé and looked up towards the blonde, she bent down towards her… And had her nose booped.
It happened, it finally happened.
Chloé hadn’t been so happy than in that moment.
Picking her up and spinning around saying she was going to teach her everything there was to ballet.
They continued playing with a bunch of other machines before the tiny girl was worn out.
Overall, the sleepy expression the tiny girl held on her face was well worn. And as the two girls headed back home to rest up, Chloé having departed already, they were going to enjoy their quiet free time.
Tap, tap, tap.
.
‘… Huh?’
Tap, tap, tap.
Marinette sat up, that wasn’t Chat Noir was it? He hadn’t visited for a while; she guessed his civilian self might have been busy but oh well.
“Chat what are you doing here?”
“How dare you mix me up for that oversized cat?”
Mrs Hernandez?
Her bedroom window opened, and the older woman had entered. One girl jumped as the other held an enjoyable expression on her face.
“Aunty!” Of course, she hugged her, and of course she had proceeded to be whacked on the head.
“What are you doing here Aunty? Is there another Trinklet? Or is there an Akuma we need to take care off? Do we need to bring Chloé with us again?” A whack was heard once more in the room.
“No amaretto, there is a much urgent matter to attend to”
“What is it?” Marinette grew worried, was this about the Miraculous, any side effects she had yet learned off?
“This… Is about your training”
‘Huh’
“Chop chop, you shall meet me in 10 minutes near the Louvre. And you best bring that Bourgeois girl as well” They couldn’t ask any more questions as a box was thrown towards them and she vanished.
What the hell was that?
And- wait 10 minutes, quick they had to leave now!
***
“Ok, we’re all here now, why did you have to have this now? I had to cancel a hair appointment for this!” Stinger huffed crossing her arms, clearly annoyed at the clash of events. Finding Mrs Hernandez at the Louvre was one thing, her pushing all three into the Trinklet without any time to speak was another.
“Well Bourgeois, if you want to take that hair appointment instead of learning how to be a mediocre hero, then you are free to leave and prove my point” They glared at each other before Chloé huffed off, saying she’ll stay here instead.
Hernandez smirked, knowing she had achieved a small victory.
Ladybug sighed, if this is how they’re going to act for all meetings she’d rather not be a part of any of it.
But the older woman coughed to get everyone's attention, they all stood in a line awaiting any other further instructions.
“Now that you’re all here you should expect that your once normal and average lives will be changed and altered forever, and because you’ve already accepted you can’t step back” Ladybug was about to speak up, they already had the Miraculous how crazy could it become?
She was silenced by the woman’s stare and promptly closed her mouth.
“Your training starts now, and I expect all of you to follow my orders without hesitation” A loud yes ma'am was heard, the other two promptly followed shortly afterwards, although with less enthusiasm.
“Now transform back” Crisono did it without hesitance.
Ladybug and Stinger froze and grew shocked!
“What? We can’t, I can’t let anyone learn about my identity” Chloé quickly shook her head, she knew everyone there knew about her identity but she couldn’t learn about Ladybug’s, not now and certainly not here in the Trinklet again Stinger had to have a moment to collect herself on being transported to two different worlds in two days.
“Oh hush, you can still keep your identity a secret if you really want to even if it would be so much easier if you didn’t” Ladybug and Chloé looked so confused, what?
“There is a spare set of sports clothes in those doors, change into them when you detransform… Secret identities are so much hassle” She muttered that last part as she walked away. Ladybug and Stinger looked at each other still unsure.
“Is this a good idea? I mean, doesn’t the Miraculous protect us from learning about our identities?” Stinger asked, she didn’t want to find out who Ladybug was, although she liked the mystery to remain she didn’t want to accidentally reveal her idols identity.
“I’m sure it’ll be alright, you’ll both be wearing masks still, plus I think your Kwami’s might be able to give you both a magic cover so I don’t think there's any reason to fear. Plus, now your Kwami’s can give pointers and help us and-” A finger was placed on her lips to silence her.
“Whoa whoa whoa, settle down there Rosina. One thing at a time. Let’s just get changed first before we get into that” Ladybug smiled, no matter the situation, Rosina would always be so hyper.
“Sooooorrrrrryyyyyyyyy, I’m just happy that we’re all going to train together, I know it's going to be hard at first, and hurt all over your body, and as days past you’ll wish to just stay in bed all day and forever But I promise you’ll love it; we’ll all be the strongest heroes in the world”
.
.
.
What the hell did they get themselves into?
***
“Left right left right! Come on Ladybug, aren’t you faster than that!” She was dodging flying planks of wood that would swing right in front and back to her… Without her Miraculous. Man, what a nightmare, and this was meant to be basic training?
“What's the matter Stinker? Got cold feet already?” She turned her head towards the hero clad in yellow, fully knowing she wasn’t fearing well much either.
“It’s Sovereign Stinger to you” She replied but didn’t move. Below her were tiles that would set of a trap, she had to run to the other side without setting any of them off, if she did she would have to go back all the way to the beginning and start all over again.
‘I may hate this but I am so going to complete it just so I can shove it in that old woman's fac-’ Red flashed her eyes as the tile opened up and swallowed her whole, she would be placed at the start yet again.
The Kwami’s were busily indulging in food as they watched their respective holders… ‘Training’ they were of course worried but Hernandez told them not to, if they are any good at being heroes then this will be a piece of cake by the time they complete it.
They didn’t seem too convinced until they remembered to look up. A lone type rope was there, and a redheaded figure was slowly making her way across it, she was as straight as a board, and the baton she used to steady herself helped as far as they could tell. Until they were able to make out that she wasn’t holding it with her hands, oh no, she was holding it with her feet.
“Rosina is crazy” Pollen nodded her head.
“Yes indeed, I wouldn’t class this as any regular training I’ve seen, how can she see with that blindfold?” Pollen spoke, worried for her holder's friend as the colour from Tikki’s face drained.
“Wait she’s BLINDFOLDED!?”
“Of course she is, you wouldn’t think I’d give her something basic to start off with like those two?”
“THIS IS MEANT TO BE BASIC TRAINING!?” Ladybug screamed but she had lost her focus, she had gotten hit and flew across the field. Her and Stinger landed in a pile together.
“I have to say, you two did better than what I thought, but I suppose you can have a break” The girls smiled, finally some rest.
“Rosiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” The older woman screamed. As the two girls looked up, they were able to see their friend swinging around on the rope, if it was anyone else but her, they would’ve been petrified at that prospect but they weren’t concerned.
This wasn’t even the craziest thing she’s done-
Wait a minute she wasn’t swinging anymore.
“Heeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy guys” Arms were wrapped around the two girls as they screamed in shock.
“Wait for one-second Crisono, how did you get down here so quick!?” Rosina’s smile left her face immediately, and she leaned in very close towards the girls, they leaned in as well to hear her answer.
.
.
“Maaaaaaaaaagic.”
They fell over in shock.
“Now let’s get us some water I’m thirsty” She joyfully skipped over to their fridge as Ladybug and Stinger resolved to just sit down there, hoping there wouldn’t be any more surprises.
“Heads up!”
… Why does she keep jinxing herself?
A bottle landed on the bluenette, with no way for her to cover herself after being so exhausted with her previous training, she gave a glare to the redhead, who only smiled back in return.
“Sorry about that Ladybug. Heads up” Was spoken yet again, but the object was thrown in a different direction. And was caught by her Aunt.
Ladybug supposed it was natural, they must’ve done this routine over a hundred times by now, of course, they were used to it.
“You both need much more training before you can even qualify as a hero in my books, but considering it's only been a day I suppose it’s the best you can produce” Normally they would have a retort but they were too exhausted to think of anything witty, so they just waved her away.
“And I believe you require another person to join” The three girls looked up in confusion.
“When I’ll have you do the next step in your training, it's important that you can fight your opponent efficiently, but to do that you’ll need to fight each other to prove to me you listened to every instruction. And since I don’t want you slacking off, I think it’s time for you to include someone else.” The two girls glared at her with that last sentence, but she didn’t care.
“And so when you all train together you’ll know everyone's strengths and weaknesses, and since I want it to be even I believe someone else joining would prove useful to you. I want you all to know the importance of fighting without your Miraculous and not to rely on your magical power for everything.” Ladybug thought for a while, before deciding on someone.
“Great, I’ll bring Chat here and then we can get him up to speed with the Trinklets and Revenant-”
Whack.
“OWW!”
That sound was heard throughout the field, but instead of the redhead being hit, it was the bluenette.
“What was that for!?” Hernandez glared at the young heroine; she was so naïve it hurt her so.
“I will not have that mangy cat anywhere here until he proves he can act serious in a battle. Until then I want this to remain a secret from him… Do you all understand?”
“But Chat is Ladybug’s partner, they can’t keep secrets from each other” Tikki tried to reason, Chat may act goofy sometimes, but he was still a hero to Paris no matter what, he still helps whenever he can.
Mrs Hernandez however never lifted her glare.
“I won’t repeat myself again,” Tikki reluctantly flew back down to Ladybug’s side saddened she couldn’t persuade her former holder, but a gentle pat on her head calmed her down.
“Now I expect you to pick someone that will have a strive to protect and conquer any enemy in their way.”
Ladybug looked down in thought, if she couldn’t let her own partner know who else was there? It, of course, couldn’t be Alya or Nino, she hadn’t called them up since last summer, they were unofficially retired.
And it couldn’t be anyone from her class, it may be petty of her, but she also believed they wouldn’t keep it a secret, she still feared for the day Alya would tell Lila she was Rena Rouge.
What about one of her new friends?
Although, they might find it strange to suddenly called for, plus she didn’t want them to fear for the new threat.
She needed someone that would be composed and loyal, and who would take the situation seriously.
.
.
A light bulb went off in her head.
“I see you’ve made your choice… Hurry along now, make sure you don’t keep me waiting” Ladybug got up, said her goodbyes with the promise of bringing someone who would be perfect for them.
After all, they already knew each other.
***
“Amoretto, I know she’s your friend but you do have to hit her at some point, you need more help with your combat abilities as it is”
A dodge was made.
“But Aunty I can’t, she’s my friend… And she might hit me harder”
A fist was pulled back…
“Damn right I will”
But it couldn’t make contact.
“Get back here Rosina!”
“Nooooooo you’re scaring me!”
And that’s the story of how Hernandez had two children running around her in circles.
“Ahem,” Someone cleared their throat to gain the three’s attention from their… “Training”
“I thought long and hard about what you said Mrs Hernandez, and I believe I’ve chosen the perfect candidate” Ladybug stepped out of the way for the person to come out.
They waited before seeing blue hair and a maroon mask, they had already gotten changed into the Gym clothes so at least then they could get started.
“Hooray a new face. Hiya there I’m Crisono” The new blue-haired girl stood back, so this was Crisono Tassa? She had expected her to be a bit, how would you say? Formal? Serious? But here she was all smiles and giggles.
And reminding her of someone.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Crisono, I’ve heard so much about you, I would be honoured if we could have a fencing match?” Crisono’s eyes lit up in awe. Sparkling with joy.
“Of course of course of course. Aunty can we can we can we? Pleeeeease?” She fluttered her eyelashes in her Aunt’s direction.
Hernandez, however, didn’t respond as she was looking the newcomer up and down, trying to stare her down, but it appeared she wouldn’t look away from her glare. Almost challenging it weirdly.
“Heh” Hernandez smirked, she liked this kid already, she seemed to prove herself in a matter of unspoken seconds, she couldn’t wait to see what else she could prove.
“I suppose seeing your skills in action would be a way for me to test what your capable off, if you think you can handle it?” The new girl nodded.
“I will strive to do everything to prove myself” She bowed formally.
“Very well, cherub teach her what it takes to be a true hero” Crisono excitedly waved her arms up and down again, a habit the girls noticed she would do whenever she was happy.
“Ok… Does that mean we can fight?”
“Yes, of course it means you can fight… What am I going to do with you?” Hernandez sighed as Rosina giggled before taking the new girl’s hand and take her to a large field. Ladybug and Stinger making their way over as well, wanting to enjoy the show.
“Oh yeah, what's your superhero name?” The new girl looked down, she knew, in the long run, she wouldn’t be able to go by her old name, Hawkmoth already knew her identity and she couldn’t put her friends and family in danger.
So, she decided to choose someone who had inspired her for a sport she had grown to love.
“I’m YukiOta”
.
.
“I suppose you’ll need to catch me up to speed Tikki” Longg floated over to his long-time friend, forgetting the last time he had seen her he was excited to spend some time outside.
“Of course Longg, don’t worry it's not all bad… At least I don’t think so” Longg looked confused, what did she mean by that?
“Here Longg, we have plenty of snacks to eat as they all train. But don’t worry about them, they’ll be alright” Longg gave a puzzled look again before settling down near them, greedily taking a cookie while listening to Pollen and Tikki retell the recent events that had transpired.
.
.
“THAT’S BASIC TRAINING!?”
“You’ll get used to it”
***
In a classroom, voices were heard. Well, more like whispers were formed by the people in there.
And it was very clear as to why.
They all saw, it was impossible not to notice.
I mean, the three girls who sit in the back come in, all with bandages around them? What had happened? Were they involved in a fight? Was there a short Akuma attack the news team couldn’t capture because they couldn’t get there in time?
Whatever had happened they were still worried and asked what had occurred, they may not be on the same page but to leave them like that would just be heartless, a brunette couldn’t really care less but had to act as if she did.
.
“We’re starting paintball lessons”
.
.
And like that everything went back to normal, of course, that had to be the reason. Kim vouched, saying the last time he went paintballing he came back with a bruised leg, he hadn’t worn enough protection and shivered at how long it took for him to heal.
And even though it seemed plausible… It still seemed strange that someone as clumsy as Marinette, and someone as dirt free as Chloé would ever participate in such an extreme sport such as paintballing.
Rosina, they could kinda understand, she had already proved to be a pro of a fencer so this activity would just be a form of exercise.
Chloé had asked why Marinette was all banged up only for Rosina to say her Aunt wants her to personally teach her some self-defence tactics, but she kept falling over. Chloé laughed at that as Marinette huffed asking why she’s so banged up, Chloé’s smirk fell off her face as she stuttered for a reason, eventually saying she was starting karate thank god Marinette seemed to buy it.
The girls thought the next few days wouldn’t be as bad.
.
Boy were they wrong.

And it’s done, sorry this might have taken longer, I kinda got into a Pokémon phase as I plan to do something big with Pokémon, but I need to plan it out more, so hopefully, that will be good. Also, hope you like it, next one is either 3 in 1 or Felix I’m leaning more towards Felix, haven’t decided yet, anyone have any short requests for me to do in the 3 in 1? Any scenarios?
Well anyway, I’m going to upload YukiOta’s design afterwards so you can all see it. Hope you’ll like it.
Also, what really sucks is that my drawing tablet doesn’t work with the Paint Tool Sai and every time I install it and uninstall it, it always makes my computer reset so I really hate that. Hopefully, it's just a problem with the laptop as I’m planning on getting another one for uni soon. But that also means updates will be slower so sorry, but I want to pass uni.
Anyway, hope to see you all soon. Have a good day/night.

Words Upon Your Skin
My first lil contribution to the Maribat fandom Hope y’all enjoy
Worldbuilding Summary: You have a 50/50 shot of being born with a soulmate. Most find out in early childhood since kids always end up drawing on themselves. The only hiccup is that the universe decided being able to just write your names to each other was too easy so the only thing that won’t transfer through the bond is your names.
Now Mari always thought she was in the half without soulmates because she’s never had even a scribble appear. We all know better than that though so join me for a ride exploring the twists and turns of Marinette dealing with a new soulmate on top of trying to figure out who’s using the Butterfly Miraculous to terrorize Paris.
AO3
Chapter One * Chapter 2 * Chapter 3 * Chapter 4
“Bye bye, pretty butterfly.” Ladybug watched the small, white butterfly slowly flap away, back to its master. “Now, Kaalki.” A horse-like creature floated up to her ear at the short command.
“I’m going to need so many sugar cubes after this, Ladybug,” the Kwamii said before taking off, tailing the butterfly. Chat Noir stepped silently next Ladybug. The eyes of Paris’s heroes followed the specks in the bright summer sky until two quiet beeps broke the silence.
Chat placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. “Don’t worry, LB, your plan is brilliant,” he said with a gentle squeeze. “And at least it was just Mr. Pigeon today.”
“I’m glad you have so much faith in me,” her gaze finally broke away and she looked at her partner, a grateful expression adorned her face. “Now let’s go recharge so we’re ready when Kaalki comes back.”
“Sure thing, bugaboo.” Chat saluted then leapt onto the closest rooftop.
She tossed the Lucky Charm into the air and cast her Miraculous Cure before bounding off towards the nearest hiding spot. Magic swarmed Paris. Any damage from the angry flocks of birds that overran the streets during the akuma attack disappeared. Ladybug didn’t pay attention to any of it as she ducked into an alley. In a pink flash Marinette was crouching on the trash littered ground, she flinched but couldn’t worry about how dirty her clothes were getting because making sure Tikki had enough energy to transform again was so much more important right then. Who knew how quickly it would take Kaalki and the akuma to get to Hawkmoth’s lair. Ladybug and Chat Noir had to be ready when the horse kwamii found their destination.
Marinette opened her purse, pulled out a cookie, and handed it to the red Kwamii floating in front of her. The girl started talking to fill the silence as the tiny God-of-Creation scarfed down the treat.
“Maybe after this, Adrien and I can finally expose Lila, you know, since we won’t have to worry about her getting akumatized?”
Tikki nodded and made a positive sound around the mouthful of cookie. Sitting down and leaning against the wall made Marinette’s clothes even grosser but the thought of not having to deal with Lila anymore eased her worries.
“As annoying as he was about preaching ‘the high road’ in the beginning, without Adrien, school would’ve been horrible. And who’d have thought that I’d be better friends with Chloe than Alya!"
Marinette smiled at Tikki as she tried to fit as much of the cookie in her mouth as possible and shook her head free of non-Ladybug thoughts. The little red bug popped the last chocolate chip in her mouth then grinned.
"Do you think you’ll need another, Tikki?” Marinette asked, already reaching into her purse for a second.
“No no, Marinette,” Tikki squeaked, cookie crumbs coming out with the words. “I didn’t use that much energy today.” She swallowed the last bite quickly and smiled at her holder. “Ready when you are!”
“Let’s just hope Chat is. Tikki, spots on!” Another flash of pink magic and Ladybug was swinging towards the top of the Eiffel Tower, the place Kaalki was going to meet back up with her and Chat.
***
In Kaalki’s personal opinion, famous people were the best to work with. What’s the point of granting someone teleportation powers if her and her holder weren’t going to be in the spotlight? And in Paris, no one was more famous than Ladybug. So when Tikki’s Chosen asked for Kaalki’s help in finally defeating Hawkmoth, of course she wouldn’t turn down the girl’s plan.
Kaalki closed the distance between herself and the dumb butterfly she was following. She watched it fly into the window of some big house then saw how the window closed behind the white bug. Alright, got the location. Now just to make sure Hawky and Mayura are inside, get back to the Eiffel tower, then teleport Ladybug and Chat into that room and I’ll be one of the Kwamii’s they write into the history books.
She got as close to the window as she could without the inhabitants noticing her. She peeked over the widow’s edge and saw the costumed Hawkmoth and a woman with Duusu floating nearby. With a nod, Kaalki channeled her powers to create a small portal just big enough for her and popped out the other side, almost flying right into the waiting teens.
“Did you find them?” Plagg’s Chosen asked. Ladybug was right behind him, pulling a sugar cube out of a bag.
“Of course I did, was there any doubt?” Kaalki grabbed the cube from the girl and daintily ate the sweet substance to recharge.
“Never,” Ladybug smiled then narrowed her eyes in seriousness. “Are you ready to end this Chat?”
“After you, M'Lady.”
“What about you, Kaalki?”
Kaalki nodded then widened her portal to fit the two heroes. She went through first to make sure it was positioned perfectly. In one fluid motion, Paris’s Wonder Duo dropped from the glowing circle, smashed through the window, and posed, battle ready. Kaalki waited, eagerly listening for the sounds of Ladybug and Chat fighting Hawkmoth and Mayura.
She was met with silence instead.
***
Marinette’s heart was racing. Her eyes couldn’t focus on just a single thing, constantly flitting around the room, taking in every detail around her once, the glittering of shattered glass under her feet.
Twice, the forms of Ga- no, of Hawkmoth and Mayura, in crumpled heaps just outside of the window’s light.
Three times, the torn and ruined white butterfly wings spread on the floor, like twisted flower petals.
It took a broken, choking sound from Chat to bring her back from the verge of what could only have been a panic attack. She rushed forward to kneel by the two adults.
Ok, first, make sure they’re still alive. A gentle press of fingers against their throats confirmed their unconscious states.
Next, look for the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculous. A quick once over and Ladybug knew that these two no longer had the magic jewelry on them. She was about to stand up to look in the dark corners when Chat made that choking sound again. Ladybug looked back at her partner, his head was down and she couldn’t see his face.
“Chat Noir, what’s wrong? Are you ok?”
His head shot up at the sound of her voice. “Ladybug, I- Are they…” His shoulders shook and he seemed to fold into himself, almost as if to get as small as possible without moving.
“Chat Noir, please.” Ladybug straightened and slowly approached the other teen. Sobs were rattling his whole form now. “What’s wrong?”
“My father was Hawkmoth, Ladybug, and Natalie had to have been Mayura,” he gasped out. Those words must have broken a dam in him because he started walking back and forth across the circle of light, glass crunching under his boots, never taking a step into the darkness. “It all makes sense now, if you think about it. Of course Father was a recluse, he had to be able to get to his lair to akumatize someone at a moment’s notice.”
Twist, turn, step, step, step, then repeat. The longer he ranted, the longer Chat’s strides become. Turn, step, step, repeat.
Ladybug hurried forward and grabbed his shoulders, stopping his agitated pacing. She turned him to look her in the eyes. A sharp inhale and he was focused on her.
“Chat, calm down, you’re going to be ok. Let’s just talk this out.”
“Okay,” he croaked, close to tears again.
“Okay. Now Chat, are you saying Gabriel Agreste is your father?” A silent nod.
“And you’re Adrien?” Another nod.
“Did you ever think that Gabriel could be Hawkmoth?” Head shake this time.
Under the red and black spandex, Marinette’s heart broke for this boy. He always tries to see the best in people, and no wonder, with Hawkmoth as a father of course Adrien wanted to ignore the bad. Even if he never realized who Gabriel actually was. I’ve got to find some way to keep him from spiraling too far down for me to reach him.
She’d just opened her mouth to ask Chat/Adrien another question when a moan of pain came from behind her. She immediately switched to a defensive stance in front of her partner. No one was getting to him any time soon.
Gabriel Agreste inched his way up into a sitting position, holding his head in a hand the whole time. “Wh-what happened?” he groaned. He looked around his lair slowly, stunned when his eyes landed on the heroes standing in the light. “Ladybug, Chat Noir, how did you two get here?” Beside him, Natalie started to rise.
Ladybug glared at the adults before her, “Miraculous of Teleportation, you didn’t think we’d let you continue on your warpath, did you?"
As soon as, Natalie was sitting up too, Ladybug wrapped her yoyo string around them, ignoring the small sound of protest from her partner. Once the bonds were secure, the angered teen crouched to Gabriel’s eye level.
"Now tell me, Hawkmoth, where are the Miraculous?”
Gabriel’s eyes widened and he looked down at where the butterfly brooch had been for the last two years. “I-I don’t know, Ladybug. I just had it.” He started desperately searching the area around him, as if the Miraculous was hiding among the dead butterflies littering the floor.
“I had just used it to akumatize that girl who was not invited to a classmate’s party again,” he started to ramble, pulling on the cords around his torso. “I-”
Chat Noir interrupted the panicking man, “What do you mean? We just fought Mr. Pigeon again, not some girl.”
“No, I distinctly remember the feelings of a girl being ostracized by her peers,” Gabriel sneered. He glared up at Chat before Ladybug stepped between the two, blocking the man’s line of sight to her partner.
Ladybug was glaring back when she saw Gabriel’s eyes glance behind her and his face paled. “Chat what’s he looking at?” I can’t look behind me, this could be a trick.
“Nothing, M'Lady, there’s just the window."
"What’s the date?” Gabriel’s voice came out as a whisper. A gentle breeze blew through the trees, leaves rustling was the only sound for one heart stopping second.
“June 2, why?” His face whitened even more. It looked like the ghost of Gabriel Agreste was kneeling in front of her. He shakily made eye contact with Ladybug again.
“The last thing I remember was akumatizing a teenage girl on January 2. The trees outside were covered in snow.”
Ladybug’s eyes went wide and she whipped her head towards the woman tied up with Gabriel. “Natalie, what about you, what do you remember?”
“The,” the woman paused, obviously still not completely awake, “the last I remember was dropping Adrien off at a photoshoot, January 2 as well.”
“That means,” Ladybug stumbled back, “something stole your memories."
Chat shifted behind her then added, "And your Miraculous."
Chat Noir and Ladybug moved to a dark corner to decide what to do about the poor excuse of a father sitting just outside the circle of light. Her arms were crossed and her posture tense while he looked more defeated than the magic-less duo still tied together.
"I think we should call the police and have both hauled off!” huffed Ladybug, still very much pissed that Adrien’s own father was the villain they’d been fighting against for so long. “But,” she deflated, “he’s your father, what do you want to do?”
Chat Noir opened his mouth to say something, thought better of it, then opened it again to simply state, “I’ve already lost my mother, I don’t think I can lose him too.”
Ladybug’s gaze softened as he went on.
“Look, I know he fucked up. He fucked up really bad. But we don’t even know why he wanted our Miraculous.” Ladybug tried to interject but a raised, leather hand stopped her. “I’m not excusing anything he’s done, I just want to know why.”
With a nod Ladybug led the way back to Gabriel and Nathalie. She silently stood, glaring down at the man before speaking, “Why did you want our Miraculous?” Gabriel seemed to weigh his options then answered.
“To bring my wife back. To make my family whole again.”

Hot Cocoa & Coffee
A short story of how Moniwa’s neighbor & Aone’s classmate/friend,Asagao becomes acquainted with the idea of being Date Tech’s co-manager.
Word Count: 2.3 k
Special thanks: @vbcshenaningansnwritings, @oitoorus
Inspired from @tkags’ manager!chan discussions//asks (:
=~=~=~
Today was the mark of the first day of spring classes. I chose to wear my favorite mint coloured hoodie underneath my uniform sweater. It was the third of March and in the words of your best friend, that month comes in like a lion. That morning was a chilly one, luckily for you, your father was working from home and made you a cup of warm drinks. With the liquid poured into the thermos, your father waved good bye since you realized you were running a bit behind your own schedule.
Outside your house stood your walking partner since you both started high school together was seen glancing down at his phone.
“What’s the story morning glory?” his way of speaking was always respectful. You were quick to brush off the allusion to your favorite flower by extending a cup to him. Your partner brought a chocolate chip cookie and biscotti for the morning walk to your mutual campus grounds.
“Honestly, what am I going to do with you after you graduate Moniwa?” I ask taking my cookie from his hands.
“Ask Aone to walk with you instead?”
“You’re impossible. Wait, why don’t we all walk home together then,” I said, bopping my head along with my friend. After Moniwa, I did develop a sort of friendship with a gentle giant after being in the same classes for a majority of our first & second years at Date Tech. Just like how his teammates can tell his moods by the way he face constricts apart, I opted for an indirect approach. Aone and I developed our own short hand via sms messaging. He and I often hang out on days where Moniwa was preparing for university exams. Although Moniwa was captain for the club, I suspected perhaps Takanobu might have confided in him an interest in me (friend or not, yet I knew he was a kind-hearted individual).
“But you’re right. I’ll ask him later. Maybe Aone will convince Kenji too.”
“Hah, yeah. You’re my neighbor after all, so I expect you to be there cheering for us, because I know you love it when we win, my morning glory.”
“Call me your morning glory one more time and you owe me a team jacket with the Kanji for my name on it, Moni-kun.”
Moniwa took a bite of his biscotti and a swig of his beverage. I paused for a moment and thought he had considered it judging by the way he knitted his brows.
“Asagao, would you like one?” his voice was playful. A mischievous grin happened to come across his lips. I feel his pout growing on me and Aone; I have an inkling having Moniwa around was going to be interesting regardless of how the rest of our high school career was going to proceed. Little did I know how different my second year was going to be. Moniwa was a year older than me and Aone, so I assumed naturally after he graduates, I will watch over our stone-faced friend.
I slapped his arm before I nodded. We walked for a few more blocks snacking and reminiscing on the last game you came to watch them play. The Iron Wall of Date was proven to be a force to be reckoned with. It was enough for the members of the team to have the backing of their peers, including me. At the beginning of the volleyball season of my neighbor’s senior year and our (me & Aone’s) second year, Moniwa decided it was imperative his two closest friends get to know each other during a free day after classes concluded last autumn.
A sticky note appeared on my desk that day with an invitation to watch the volleyball club practice. The memory lives on at the back of my mind, but considering life went on around the club, someone had been ambushed (read as cornered you) to have notes the club missed due to away games e-mailed to the second years.
“Moniwa. Don’t say things you don’t mean,” I said drinking the rest of my hot cocoa when we reached the intersection across our school grounds. “But I don’t mind whose jacket I wear, so long as I get a front row seat at the game venues, I’ll cheer for you and Aone.”
~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_
Lunch came around as quickly as the morning classes ceased for the rest of the day. The afternoon ones were just around the corner and my phone buzzed continuously since Moniwa was in another section of the school. Takanobu was in your adjoining classroom along with a few of the other second years being close by.
Apparently, the rest of the team sans their captain and intimidating middle blocker, had an idea. A trap of sorts if you will. During this time of year, it was brought to their attention I didn’t do any club activities. Honestly, it was mainly because I was personally recruited by a few subject teachers to deliver the course work the team had missed during the season, unofficially of course. The trap that was aforementioned never really was used because I was completely oblivious to the boys’ outlook on my relationship with their captain (being my first friend) and in befriending Takanobu after we were praised for an English project in our first year.
The thought of them falling behind was not an option. In my head, I always fancied myself the brains behind their make up lessons post games. Moniwa wanted to know if I can draft up a tentative schedule for tutoring or study groups once the matchups were scheduled. It’s been quite some time since our school went all the way to the Spring Inter-High Tournament, but with being the school with number one blocking in our prefecture (ever present), I think the guys would appreciate seeing a friend in the crowds later on.
Around campus though, there was a flip side in me perpetually hanging out with the notable members of the volleyball club. Especially since there are times where I was recruited (along with various other girls) to be the deliverer of love notes. It does the soul good when I see their adoration and dedication (whether it was toward the girl or the game, Irma the principle of the matter) go noticed by other classes.
Their teammates, especially the first years, noticed how I were often spotted with Moniwa & Takanobu having a full conversation with both of them. First time anyone made any sort of comment between your friendship with the other two was when you walked into their closed practice (on their coach’s orders).
“Oi! Moniwa! There’s this girl outside the gym looking for you and Aone?” their junior setter’s jovial voice exclaimed. I definitely saw him around campus before as he was known for his bright and friendly demeanor to everyone on and off the court.
“Hey, is that anyway to talk to your senpai?” I raised my voice pushing through in the doorway with my backpack slung over my shoulder. Moniwa was quick to call for a break and thankfully coach agreed.
“What are you teaching your kouhai Moniwa? Hey Aone.”
The silent, yet respectful giant and his captain gave me a smile when they both came closer toward my side of the court. We were making a rudimentary study plan that needed to be fine tuned as needed. I just needed a few ideas as how to best teach certain lessons that the team would be collectively missing when the official matches were going to be posted. Moniwa, as per usual, spearheaded the conversation with various ideas and I held up my left hand in the air to have him shut up for a few minutes as I fumbled through my bag fishing out a pen and my graphing paper (for engineering classes). The other members of the team gathered together after picking up their water bottles.
“OK,” I said brushing my bangs behind an ear with my right hand. Aone immediately turned his back toward me and knelt down so I didn’t have too hard a time trying to steady my handwriting (he was more like a pedestal at this point, which Moniwa pointed.)
“Clearly, this is amusing you Moniwa, but as I was trying to make sure my friends pass this term so they can continue playing the sport they love.”
This earned a decisive hum from Aone. I began scribbling a tentative schedule rotation for every member of the team categorized by years and give Aone a tap on the back to signal you were done borrowing his services.
“Alright, alright. I yield,” Moniwa said shaking his head. I hand my handwritten schedule to the captain who gave it a once over. “We can discuss this later after practice.”
“Fine by me,” I say with a nod. I fold my arms over my chest once Aone and Moniwa stood in front of me again.
“So, about that thing we discussed earlier on the way here,” Moniwa began. “What size is that hoodie you’re wearing?”
My mouth was agape in faux shock as Aone started blushing just as hard as Moniwa’s cheeks dyed a peachy hue. I pushed up the sleeves of my hoodie and made a fist with my left hand. I swore I would never hit the guy, but seeing Aone’s reaction to the question was enough punishment to quell my annoyance.
“Moniwa, for all that good and holy in the world, I will punch you one of these days. You’re lucky it’s not today.”
I chewed the side of my cheek before moving on to another topic.
“Want me to wait for you guys? It is getting late after all and I have delayed your practice long enough.”
“Asagao, it’s been like ten minutes,” Moniwa reminded me. Aone’s eyes rolled to the clock adjacent to where we were standing. “But, sure. You don’t have to remind us twice.”
While all this was happening, Moniwa, Aone, and myself were unaware we were being observed by the other members of the team as a whole. Yes, we may have our own language within the fine tunes of our friendship, but I remember a time when both of them taught me it was ok to have a will of iron. It comes with the territory according to their coach and even their manager at the time too.
“Do you think she knows?” one of the outside hitters (Onogawa) asked, nudging their setter (Koganegawa) who greeted me at the door.
“Even if she does, she has two hands Onogawa,” Koganegawa said in a friendly tone. He was implying that we did hold hands at one point during a school festival at one of the classroom presentation games (class 3-4 did a haunted house last year which is where the three of us hand-holding became a thing). “What do you think, Nametsu?”
Observing how the three of us were talking, it seemed like we were going to be inseperable as of right now. Graduation is a right of passage and it was one none of us wanted to talk about at the moment.
“We all know that those three are inseparable as ionic bonds, besides, look at how different the two members of our team are.The stoic blocker and his captain adore her, but they might be too proud to admit it just yet,” their manager said, efficiently making his appearance to collect their bottles.
“You can tell in the way Moniwa teases her like family and Aone seems like the type to have formed a crush on her since they all started walking home together after practices last year,” Nametsu continued. “C’mon, there will be time to grill Moniwa later.”
“Let’s get back to work,” Coach Oiwake says with a strict clap. Then he made a gesture to call me over to where he was sitting close by the court. We were a few feet away from the main huddle of the team. “Asagao. You stay.”
I was a bit caught off guard by the coach’s deliberate order. Jeez, coach-senshu was a bit scary.
“Sir?”
“Moniwa and Futakuchi mentioned off hand you were free from any club activities during the season. I wonder why is that.”
I shrugged and before I could explain, coach-senshu continued: “so I took the liberty of speaking with your year’s academic advisor and we agreed it’s about time we have a secondary manager.”
“I see,” I said, placing my hands at my side while observing the practice game commence. “Wait a sec. Are you asking me to--?”
“Might help make Nametsu’s job a little easier,” he rarely chuckles at the mistakes his team makes, but he did let out a low rumble. “Date Tech’s co-manager has a nice ring to it, don’t it?”
“I’m flattered,” I muse while I observe the game in motion.
A ball came whirring down close to the boundary after a good rally on both sides of the net and the call was a close one. In an official match it would even be a close call, meaning the point would have been given to the team who did not touch the ball last. I had a basic knowledge of the game given the company I keep, yet a brotherly fight was going to occur if no one kept a keen eye. I dropped my bag by the chair meant for our coach to sit in before I rolled up my other sleeve of my hoodie to observe.
“You deserve to be standing there with them too,” Coach Oiwake said and I couldn’t argue with that at all, so I nodded as a response to his proposition. “Good. Welcome to the club. We’ll get your measurements from the records department later.”
“Futakuchi, how many times have we told you to watch where you’re hitting those spikes of yours!” Nametsu exclaims, anger seeping through the last few words. He was watching from the side of the net by the score card. I picked up one of the balls that had rolled away close by where I was having that chat with their coach and gave it a good bounce or two before throwing it into a near by bin. Moniwa and Aone quietly backed away when I approached their outside hitter.
“You hit your cross spike that close to the line again Kenji and see what happens,” I said firmly. He froze in slight terror. I never was one to dish out harsh scoldings, but this one was worth it. At the sound of my voice, the argument that would of began immediately ceased.
“And,” I turn to where Obara was standing, “you should of at least tried to return it too, Obara.”
“Sorry, Asagao…” there was a pout there, but in all honesty, Kenji really did look defeated, however Moniwa and others snickered. Personally, I think it was because Kenji would have gotten an extra scolding or two by his captain or manager if I didn’t say anything.
“Manager-san,” I corrected him, a smug smile spread across the entirety of my countenance. At this, Moniwa and Aone both seemed at peace with this development, before breaking out in a triumphant chest bump.
“Ow~Give me a moment Aone, I’m fine,” Moniwa says rubbing his chest cavity.
“I-I beg your pardon?” Nametsu says in a nervous manner. “Am I being replaced?”
“Nope,” Coach Oiwake clasps his hands together to dispel any other form of chatter amongst his team. “Quite the opposite really. Asagao just accepted the position to be our co-manager about three minutes ago.”
Nametsu breathed a sigh of relief while the rest of the roster flipped out and gave me a round of congratulatory praises.
“‘Bout time,” Moniwa said. “Right Aone?”
“Yes.” Aone smiled and Moniwa nearly fainted.
“I think you broke Moniwa,” I stifled a laugh. I took the opportunity to seize both of my friends’ hands in earnest with an unyielding grip to which they both let out a nervous chortle. (My hands were interlocked with theirs). “Will you allow me to stay within the Iron Wall?”
Afternoon practice for the team commenced shortly thereafter.
“God bless the Queen,” Coach Oiwake said to himself. It was going to be an interesting season after all.

Namkook~ cheating never wins
Jungkook was really regretting cheating at Mario cart in order to not loose this stupid bet, in fact, he was regretting making this bet with Namjoon in the first god damned place, see he had made a bet with his Hyung that he could beat him at Mario cart and to make things even more interesting he had suggested that if he lost the game of Mario, therefore loosing the bet, Namjoon had his permission to tickle him in a vlive, however if he won the Mario game, therefore winning the bet, then Namjoon had to give the younger permission to tickle him in a vlive.
-around 10 minutes earlier-
Jungkook wasn’t quite sure how he was loosing their current game of Mario cart but, he knew for sure that he had to make certain that he won, there was no way in hell he’d want to get tickled in a vlive, it would be so embarrassing. There was also a tiny part of him that would sort of enjoy it, not that he would ever admit that.
The end of the game was rushing closer and closer and Jungkook knew he had to do something and quick. On an impulse, he reached over to Namjoon and started to tickle his side, in an attempt to distract the elder, however his efforts were in vain, as Namjoon soon flew over the finish line, ending the game, which meant that not only had Namjoon won, but Jungkook had cheated.
“Oh, shit!” Jungkook exclaimed nervously, the realisation that he’d just lost hitting him.
“Looks like you lose maknae.” Namjoon teased, grinning broadly.
“For fucks sake. Ok fine lets get this over with” Jungkook huffed, letting out a short, nervous giggle.
“So lets go film.” Namjoon said, standing up to leave for the filming room, shooting a teasing smirk in the younger’s direction. Jungkook followed him and they headed to the filming room to set up for the vlive.
-back to current time-
So here he was, sitting in the filming room, anxiously waiting for Namjoon to finish setting the laptop camera up. After a few more minutes the camera was set up.
“You ready to go?” Namjoon asked with a devious smile.
“No… but I guess I don’t really have a choice.” Jungkook said, giggling nervously and already starting to blush.
With that, Namjoon started the vlive, quickly moving back to sit with Jungkook on the floor of the filming room.
“Hey guys! So today, we are doing a very different style of live stream. Basically, Jungkook lost a bet that he could beat me on Mario cart and since he lost the bet and cheated, he’s agreed to let me tickle him live on camera, isn’t that right kookie-ah?” Namjoon smiled to the camera, resting his hand on the back of the younger’s neck.
“I should never have suggested tickling as a punishment.” Jungkook whines, laughing softly in anticipation, blushing as he notices all of the viewers and comments on the stream already.
“Lay on your back and put your arms above your head.” Namjoon instructs the younger, with a playful smirk on his face.
Jungkook does as instructed, laying on his back and lifting his arms above his head, Namjoon quickly moves to sit on the maknaes arms, pinning them in place. Jungkook instinctively tries to pull his arms down for protection, having no such luck, as they are firmly trapped in place.
“Oh and by the way Jungkook, I will only stop when you admit you like this. That’s your punishment for trying to cheat earlier.” Namjoon teases, smirking down at him.
“WHAT?! I don’t. This is so mean!” Jungkook blushes, giggles starting to pour out of his mouth as Joon starts to gently tickle his neck.
“You should’ve thought about that before you decided to cheat.” Namjoon grinned at him, scratching lightly at a particularly sensitive spot just underneath the younger’s ear, causing him to snap his head to the side to protect the spot, only for Namjoon to repeat the action on the other side.
“Not fair! That’s so sensitive.” Jungkook squeaked, trying desperately to protect the sensitive spot. He suddenly screamed in surprise when Namjoon moved to his armpits without warning.
“Guys, don’t forget to take as many screenshots as you can, we’d love to see them on twitter.” Namjoon laughed, looking at the screen and seeing so many cute comments.
“NO! Shut up!” Jungkook squealed, desperately tugging at his arms to protect his most sensitive spot.
After a few minutes, Namjoon decided the younger had had enough of the armpit tickling, so he moved down to tickle kookies sides, scribbling in random patterns all over them, causing the younger to jump in surprise, as his eyes were screwed shut from laughing so much.
“Please! Joon! No more! Please!” Jungkook begged desperately through his laughter after a while, starting to get tired from laughing so much.
“If you want me to stop all you have to do is admit that you secretly love this.” Namjoon teased with a smirk, moving to tickle kookies stomach.
“I won’t say it! Please.. Namjoon stop?” Jungkook laughed loudly, arching his back off the ground in an attempt to escape the tickly sensations.
“All you gotta do is say it kook-ah.” Namjoon said with a laugh, continuing to tickle all over kookies helpless tummy.
“I am not saying it!” Jungkook squealed as Namjoon’s fingers danced all over his sensitive tummy.
“I know you must want this to stop.” Namjoon sang, going up to Jungkook’s ribs.
“Yes! I do! But I’m not saying that…” Jungkook squeaked when Namjoon got a bit too close to his armpits again.
“Fine. Have it your way, I guess I will just go back to your armpits again.” Namjoon taunted, fingers travelling dangerously close to Jungkook’s armpits.
“You wouldn’t dare! I will kill you!” Jungkook tried to sound threatening, only succeeding in sounding even more adorable, if that was even possible.
“You’re not really in any position to be making threats.” Namjoon smirked, moving his hands up into the younger’s armpits, earning a scream of uncontrollable laughter in response.
“OK! Ok! I will admit it! I do secretly love this!” Jungkook shrieked through his loud laughter.
“Good, glad you’re finally admitting it.” Namjoon teased, stopping his tickling but hovering his hands over Jungkook’s armpits threateningly.
“I will let you up once you apologize for cheating.” He smirked at Jungkook.
“Fine ok, I’m sorry for cheating, seriously, never again!” Jungkook almost tripped over his own words, to stop Namjoon from tickling his armpits again, sighing in relief when Namjoon moved off of his legs to let him up.
“See wasn’t so hard was it?” Joon said with a small smirk, standing up and lifting Jungkook up to sit and snuggle on the sofa.
“Shut up!” Jungkook laughed softly, playfully but harshly smacking Namjoon on the chest.
“For the record I really don’t like being tickled, I just said it so Namjoon would stop.” Jungkook blushed, looking up at the camera.
“He’s lying! He really does love it. Bye guys!” Namjoon said, quickly tickling the younger’s side playfully and turning off the vlive before Jungkook could say anything else.
“You’re the worst sometimes!” Jungkook squeaked in surprise, shoving his best friend when he realised that Joon had ended the stream before he could say anything to defend himself.
“Cheating never wins kookie” Joon smiled, ruffling the younger’s hair, before having a scroll through twitter to see all of the recent screenshots.

That took me far longer than I had anticipated, but it’s finally done!

Only Time Will Tell:
Chapter Two
AN: Thank you guys sooo much for the amazing feedback in the last chapter!! I tried to write this one as fast as possible without compromising the quality of the story. Hope you all enjoy!!💕
Warnings: Swearing
Word count: 2,330
You are woken up by the sound of a car honking loudly outside your bedroom window. You open your eyes slowly and let out a wide yawn as you glance at the clock.
"Shit!" you curse as you throw your covers to the side and race towards your closet, tripping over your dirty clothes that lay scattered across the floor.
"Shit shit shit shit..." The honking continued as you reach into your closet and grab the first things that you touch, not bothering to see what you chose before throwing them on. You try running a brush through your tangled hair before giving up and quickly tying it up in a loose ponytail.
You grab your bag and rush downstairs, continuing to mumble profanities as you call out a brief goodbye to your dad.
"What did you say y/n? I can't hear you over all this goddamn honking!" your dad complains through a mouthful of bacon. You sigh and jog briskly into the kitchen to give your dad a hug.
"I said I'm leaving now," you repeat, "bye dad." He waves you off and continues to devour his meal. Your stomach grumbles but you know that there's no time for breakfast, so you grab an apple on your way out the door instead. You walk swiftly towards Josh's car and see him shaking his head at you while continuing to honk the horn. You give him a quick wave and hop into the seat beside him, relieved that Josh has finally decided to stop making so much noise as he takes his hands off the wheel, crossing his arms.
"You're late," Josh complains as you buckle your seatbelt.
"Good morning to you too," you reply sarcastically, "sorry, I must have slept through my alarm."
"Woah, isn't your phone set to play Safari Song? How on earth did you manage to sleep through that?"
"I guess I'm just so used to tuning out your voice that it wasn't a problem," you shrug, grinning and hitting his shoulder playfully.
"Ouch," Josh replies, smirking at your tease, "hey isn't that Jake's shirt?" he asks you, noticing your outfit and giving you a confused look. You look down at your t-shirt for the first time, reading the words 'Church of Rock and Roll' printed across it.
"Yeah, he gave it to me when he grew out of it," you shrug, taking a bite out of your apple.
"If you say so," Josh replies, clearly unconvinced.
"What is that supposed to mean?" you chuckle.
"I'm just saying if you're fucking my brother you could have at least told me," Josh says, keeping his eyes on the road while earning a slap and a groan from you, "which is not ok by the way!" he states, shaking his pointer finger at you and furrowing his eyebrows. You let out a giggle and shake your head.
"You know I wouldn't," you smile lightly.
"I know you used to have a crush on him when we were younger," Josh replies, raising his eyebrows at you while throwing you a glance. Your eyes widen as you almost choke on your apple.
"You knew about that?!" you shout.
"Y/n everyone knew about that. You weren't exactly subtle," Josh laughs, watching you shield your face with your hands.
"Alright fine...whatever that was ages ago. Can we talk about something else please," you smile at Josh, blushing furiously as you remove your hands from your face and drop them into your lap.
"Alright, if we must. Are you excited for the last day of school?" Josh questions as you speed down the road towards your high school.
"I almost forgot actually, summer took way too long to get here," you reply, thankful for the change in conversation as you relax into your seat. "I'm even more excited for your party tonight though!" you grin giddily at Josh who returns it with a wide smile of his own.
"I can hardly wait," Josh beams as you pull into the crowded parking lot of Frankenmuth High. You thank Josh quickly before hopping out of the car and slamming the door, briskly jogging into the school. You walk hurriedly to your classroom and open the door, giving your teacher a brief apology before taking your seat at the back of the class beside Sam. You give him a quick smile but notice he doesn't return it.
"Hey," you whisper.
"Hey," Sam responds, not bothering to look up from his phone.
"What did I miss?" you ask Sam, who puts away his phone and takes out his math binder.
"Nothing," Sam whispers as he puts in his earbuds begins copying down algebra questions from the board at the front of the classroom. You sit in silence as he scribbles down numbers and you glance at your phone, noticing a text message from a very close friend of yours.
'Danny: wanna get pizza for lunch?'
'Y/n: definitely. Meet me at your locker.'
You quietly nudge Sam who takes out his earbuds and looks at you.
"What y/n?" he sighs.
"Danny and I are gonna get pizza for lunch, you coming?"
"I dunno, maybe," Sam says, returning his attention to the equations in front of him.
"Oh, um ok," you stumble, slightly shocked that Sam doesn't want to eat lunch with you, and especially Danny, his best friend. Maybe he's still upset about whatever he was worried about yesterday. You have an idea of what might cheer him up, so you nudge him again, "Hey are you excited for Josh's party tonight?" You whisper excitedly.
Sam drops his pencil and frustratedly turns to face you, "Maybe you should just do your work and stop obsessing over the fucking party," Sam spits loudly. He sighs and turns his back to you. You are stunned at Sam's harsh words, having no idea as to why Sam was so pissed at you. You and Sam didn't say another word to each other for the remainder of the class. A long hour later, the bell rang and you left quickly to head to your next class, not wanting to interact with Sam after his bitter outburst. You spend the entirety of your next class daydreaming until the bell rings for lunch. You walk to Danny's locker and see him rummaging through his bag, his long black hair falling over most of his face. He throws his bag over his shoulder and closes his locker, smiling when he sees you standing next to him.
"Hey y/n."
"Hey," you reply, "let's go I wanna talk to you about something." Danny follows you as you lead the way into the crowded cafeteria. You grab some pizza and walk towards your usual seats. You set down your tray across from Danny, who looks around the room, confused.
"No Sam? He always sits with us," Danny asks.
"That's what I wanted to talk about," you sigh, receiving a worried look from Danny. "Sam's pissed at me for some reason but I can't figure out why. Has he told you anything?" Danny shakes his head in response while taking a large bite of his pizza.
"No, he hasn't said anything," Danny frowns, "I've noticed he's been pretty distant lately though, really quiet too which is weird for Sam. Usually, I can't get him to shut up." You give a small laugh and continue to eat.
"I dunno Danny, but whatever it is he better get over it soon before the party tonight!"
"Yeah, it should be fun. I'm planning on asking out Mackenzie tonight, just between you and me," Danny says as you beam at him.
"It took you long enough! That girl is all over you," he smirks and waves his hand dismissively.
"We'll see," He mumbles.
The rest of the day dragged on, leaving you very tired and causing you to sleep through your third period biology class. Heading towards your final class before summer officially begins, you nervously hum a tune to yourself as you head towards the music room. Avoiding Sam has been easy so far, but you know that you will have to interact with him soon. You take a seat at the back of the class, across the room from your usual seat beside Sam. You take out your guitar and begin to lazily play the tune that has been stuck in your head since the day began. You close your eyes and sway to the music, ignoring the chatter and quiet music that fills the rest of the room as other students began to practice around you. As you near the end of your song, you open your eyes and catch Sam watching you play from across the room before he quickly looks away, busying himself with his bass guitar. You smile as you feel a familiar blush creeping onto your face. Sam has always loved listening to you play guitar, and you used to play together all the time growing up.
Your music teacher steps into the room and briskly declares a sectional rehearsal. You were hoping this wouldn't happen since you're in a group with Sam as well as a few others.
"That's just fucking perfect," you mumble to yourself as you walk into the small practice room with your fellow group members. You sit down beside Claire, a talented pianist with long brown hair, practicing scales on an organ. Ethan, a tall, muscular boy with short blond hair and stunning blue eyes enters the room next. He takes a seat beside you, holding a guitar similar to yours as you see Sam following him in and sitting across from you. The rest of the class is spent jamming with your group, playing songs that you've rehearsed several times before as well as improvising tunes as you play. You and Ethan are focused mainly on each other as you both concentrate on harmonizing your guitars. Every now and then you share a smile with Ethan as you appreciate the beautiful sounds of your dueling guitars. As you play you can feel Sam's eyes on you, but you refuse to look at him, letting yourself relax into the music instead. The bell rings and Sam immediately gets up, rushing out of the practice room without a word. Claire follows him out, and you are left alone with Ethan as you both put away your guitars.
"You played great today y/n, you're a really talented guitarist if I haven't said it before," Ethan smiles as you head out into the halls together.
"Thanks, so are you!" you beam as you admire his kindness. You find yourself blushing slightly. It isn't the first time that you've admitted to yourself how attractive you find him. You get an idea and start to fiddle anxiously with your bracelet.
"Hey um, a friend of mine is throwing a party tonight, would you want to come? Most of the people in our grade will be there so I figured you might be interested. Unless you're not which is fine too, there'll be drinking and shit which might not be your scene so..." you ramble but are quickly cut off by the feeling of Ethan's fingers entwining with yours. You look up at him and he smiles back at you.
"It sounds great y/n. I'll be there." You give him a wide smile as the two of you walk towards your locker, both of your hands still laced together. You give him more information about the party and he listens intently.
"It'll be this address at around 8:30," you say, scribbling down Josh's address on a loose piece of paper before handing it to him.
"Thanks y/n, see you tonight," Ethan says, smiling as he leaves down the crowded hall. You watch him go and feel your heart flutter as you pack your bag and head outside towards Josh's car.
"look who finally decided to show up," Josh calls to you from behind the wheel, "What took you so long?"
"Just talking to a friend," you say as you hop into the backseat beside Danny and Sam. You decide to tell Josh about Ethan after the party, not wanting to get his hopes up in case nothing ended up happening between the two of you. "Hey Jake, Danny, Sam," you say as Jake greets you from the passenger seat and Sam ignores you, staring out the window.
"Nice shirt y/n," Jake smirks at you as you share a knowing laugh with Josh.
"Jake and I were just picking up some supplies for the party tonight," Josh informs you, motioning to the many cases of beer stacked in the trunk.
"I figured," you respond, sharing a laugh with Danny.
"We're planning on practicing when we get home, you wanna listen in?"Jake asks you as you shake your head at him.
"No that's alright, I think I'm just gonna take a nap," you reply as Jake nods, turning on the radio as you drive to the Kiszka house. Normally you'd love to listen to the boys perform, but you don't feel like being around Sam. Once you arrive, the twins bring the cases of beer into the house as you head up to Josh's room, flopping on his bed and hearing the faint clinking of bottles in the kitchen. After a while, you fall asleep to the distant sound of rock and roll coming from the garage. You dream you're at a local bar listening to boys' band, Greta Van Fleet, play their music for the crowd as you dance and sing along. You have a feeling they'll make it big someday, they're too talented not to.
Your dream comes to an abrupt end as you are startled awake by Josh, shaking you wildly as you groan and open your eyes.
"Y/n wake up! It's 7:50 already you've got to get ready!" he yells in your ear. You smile at him and bounce out of bed, eager to get ready for the busy night ahead of you.

Lunar's Crimson Days
Lunar
Lunar scribble as quick as she could. She looked at her card and frowned. Qamar looked over her shoulder and nudged her.
"What's wrong?" Qamar asked
"It's to corney...."
"No it's not, I think its adorable."
"You think anything I do is adorable."
"......In my defense, you make alot of faces that I think are cute."
"Now who's being cute?"
Lunar sighed and leaned back more in her chair. When suddenly she heard footsteps behind her. She scrambled to shove the card in her work desk and turned only to see it was Shadow, not Asher. She sighed in relief and looked up at Shadow.
"What's up?"
"Why so jumpy Lunar? "
"N-no reason...."
"Did I catch you staring at a picture of Asher again?"
"I wasn't staring at it last time!"
"Suuuuurrreeee. Anyways gear up. We got places to go, people and things to shoot."
Lunar groaned.
"Give me a second I gotta switch out my stuff."
"Well hurry up! We are taking my ship today!"
"Why your ship?"
"Don't ask questions! Get your stuff we're already late."
Lunar jumped up and ran to get the rest of her stuff.
Shadow
Shadow opened the drawer Lunar had hastily hid whatever it was she was freaking out about. She moved several things around before she came apon her card. She held back on laughing at her poor love sick friend. She knew Lunar wouldn't give it to Asher. Maybe she could help her out this one time. Ethier way itd be an interesting outcome.
Shadow grabbed the card out and shut the drawer. She only had a few minutes before Lunar would come running back to her. She went over to Asher's desk and left the card on his desk. As she did she radioed him on coms. His annoying voice came out as bossy as ever.
"Who is this? What do you want?"
"Hey metal hand. I'm stealing your assistant again. Just thought I'd let you know. She said she left something important for you on your desk."
"What?! You can't just-"
"Ok your voice is getting annoying. Bye~"
Shadow clicked off coms and went to wait for Lunar by her ship. She was hoping the mission would take long enough that she'd get to see how this played out. She seen Lunar barreling towards her and grinned.
"Sorry I couldn't find something."
"Its fine, ready to go?"
"Yeah. What exactly are we doing?"
Lunar walked besides her as they sat in the ship. Shadow locked down the ship and turned to Lunar.
"About that. We need to clear somewhere out....."
"Shadow... why did you lock the ship?"
"And there's alot of Hive and Ogres."
Lunar stood up and pointed her finger at Shadow.
"You let me out of this ship right now!"
"Its time you face your fears Lunar! Also prepare for entry!"
As she yelled that Shadow and Lunar transmated into the middle of an area full of Hive.
Lunar pulled her gun out and frowned.
"I'm gonna murder you when we get out of here."
"You can try but you wont be the first who's failed!"
As she yelled that they both jumped into battle.
Almost a day later
Lunar
Lunar collapsed on a seat in the back of Shadows ship. It had been a gruesome and tiring fight. It had seemed like they were endless. But some how they had managed to clear up most of the area. Suddenly Shadow clicked on coms from the cockpit.
"How you doing buddy."
"I'm to tired to curse at you."
"Aww I love you too."
"I'm so tired that was a nightmare. Theres no possible way this can get worse."
"Be careful what you wish for."
Suddenly Lunar seen Asher was attempting to contact her on coms.
"Give me a sec. Asher's trying-"
"Just patch him through ours I'll mute myself."
"Fine I'm to tired."
Ashers voice came through reminding Lunar she was glad she had survived that mission.
"Lunar?"
"Yes? Sorry I've been gone so long I didnt expect-"
"Its ok that's not why I'm contacting you. I wanted to talk to you about what you left for me on my desk."
"What are you talking abou-"
"Now I know my existence is quite overwhelming. And I'm flattered you seem to think very highly to me-"
"What on earth are you going on about Asher?"
"The card you drew and left for me?"
Lunar was so horrified she paused unable to make words, suddenly she heard a crunching sound on the coms. It was then that she realized what had happened.
"SHADOW ARE YOU EATING ON COMS?!"
"Whoops I forgot to mute.*click*"
"Asher I'm.... I'll.... I will talk to you about this later. I need to do something real quick."
"I'll be waiting then."
After Asher left the conversation Lunar yelled into her coms.
"SHADOW!"
"*click* Yes?"
"I swear! How could you I-"
"*crunch*"
"ARE YOU STILL EATING?!"
"Danmit I forgot to mute again"
"That's it!"
"System lockdown initiated"
"SHADOW!"
"*crunch* Hey everything turned out ok. You're alive and Asher seems to have a positive reaction to it. You should be thanking me! Now you wont be alone on crimson days. Anyways enjoy your timeout. *click*"

Promises: Part Fourteen
Pairing: Tyler Joseph x Reader
Warnings: Some swearing
Word Count: 1241
Author’s Note: This is the last of the June posts!
July 8th, 2017
You carefully stepped off the stool and returned to your spot behind the counter. The bookstore was empty, as it always seemed to be on summer afternoons. People just preferred to be out in the warm sun instead of looking at books, it seemed.
Tyler had left the day before. He had come over and given you a quick goodbye, promising that he would be back in a timely manner and that he would be sure to text often. You hoped it was true, but figured it was best not to get your hopes up too much. The mistrust was still sitting in the back of your mind, but with each passing day it got a little better.
You were sitting behind the counter, making some notes about the store when your manager walked up to you. He was carrying something under his arm, and looked a bit disgruntled. Then again, he always had the tendency to look like that.
“A customer came in earlier today and said that he wanted me to give this to you when you came in.”
He set a book down on the counter and slid it across to you. You recognized it instantly: your favorite book, the same one that you had read a hundred times over and never loved any less. You had lost your copy a few years ago when you and your mom had been cleaning out your room to find things for a garage sale. You hadn’t told anyone that it was missing, nor had you picked up another copy yet, so it seemed odd that a customer had dropped it off.
“Did they say who they were?”
Your manager shook his head, “Nope, just that he wanted this to be given to you when your shift started.”
“Thank you,” you said, grabbing the book.
Your manager grunted before walking back to his small office in the back of the store. You bent down and grabbed your bag so that you could put the book away, but just as you were about to do so you noticed a piece of paper sticking out of the top. Curiosity getting the better of you, you pulled it out.
The so-called piece of paper turned out to be an envelope with your name scribbled on the front in Tyler’s unmistakable handwriting. You were just about to open it when the bell over the door chimed. With a sigh, you hastily stuffed the envelope back into the book and stuck it into your bag. It would have to wait until you were off work.
Work seemed to draw on forever now that Tyler’s note was sitting in the back of your mind. A million questions were running through your head and you were itching to open it, but you knew that your manager wouldn’t appreciate you doing personal things during work hours. He already seemed bothered enough by having to give you the book in the first place.
You practically sprinted to your car once your shift ended. Your fast pace attracted a few stares, but you brushed them off; the only thing on your mind right now was getting to your car and opening Tyler’s letter. What had been so important that he couldn’t tell you in person?
You slammed the car door behind you and began to dig through your bag until you found the letter. Your heart was beating furiously in your chest, both from your practical sprint to the car and the anticipation of what the letter said. You took a second to look at it before you opened it, taking advantage of your last moments of ignorance.
The envelope opened easily, and you pulled out the folded piece of notebook paper that was tucked inside. As you unfolded the letter, a smaller piece of paper fell into your lap. You picked it up and began to read it.
“No way,” you gasped. “No fucking way.”
The smaller piece of paper had turned out to be a plane ticket to California for the end of the month. You were in shock and disbelief. Your hands shook as you read the letter.
Y/N,
I know you told me that you wanted some time to think, but I figured that you could also use a break from your life at home. There’s no pressure for you to come visit, but I figured I would give you the plane ticket just in case. We can buy you a return ticket when you’re here, because I wasn’t sure how long you’ll want to or be able to stay.
And because I know you’re wondering why I gave you a letter for this instead of telling you in person, you and I both know there’s no way you would have accepted this in person. We may have been apart for ten years, but I still know how you are.
Oh yeah, and enjoy the book.
-Ty
You could hardly believe what was happening. Never in a million years did you think you would ever be able to visit California after your dad got sick. It had always been a dream in the back of your mind, but that was it: a dream.
You grabbed your phone from your bag and dialed Tyler’s number. Hopefully he wasn’t busy, you really needed to talk to him. Thankfully, he picked up after a couple rings.
“Hello?”
“Tyler, are you fucking with me?”
“Come again?”
“The plane ticket, the letter, it’s a joke, right?”
Tyler laughed quietly on the other end of the line, “No, Y/N, it’s not a joke. I want you to come visit.”
You took a deep breath and leaned back against your seat, “I’m actually going to California.”
“Yeah you are.”
“Thank you so much, Ty. I owe you.”
“No, you don’t. You gave me a second chance and that’s more than enough for me.”
“Are you sure?”
“I’ve never been more sure of something in my life.”
“Ok, I need to get home before my mom starts worrying. I just had to call to make sure this wasn’t a joke.”
“I’ll see you later this month.”
“Bye, Ty.”
“Later.”
You hung up the call and tossed your phone onto the passenger seat. After one last long glance at the plane ticket, you pulled out onto the street and headed home.
Your mom was in the kitchen cooking when you arrived home. You set your stuff down by the door and walked into the kitchen, the plane ticket clutched tightly in one hand.
“There you are,” your mom smiled. “How was work?”
“Work was slow, but I got some really exciting news.”
“You did?”
“Look at this.”
You set the plane ticket down and slid it over to where your mom could easily see it. She took a second to look it over before her eyes went wide and she looked up at you.
“Where did you get this?”
“Tyler. He wants me to come visit.”
“You’re going to California?”
You nodded. Your mom’s eyes began to well up and she walked over to pull you into a hug. Deep down, you knew she had always felt bad for holding you back, even if it wasn’t her fault.
“I’m so excited for you, sweetheart.” She released you from the hug and held you at arm’s length, “When do you leave?”
“The end of this month.”
“How exciting,” she smiled. “You’re finally making your trip.”

Two Years - Part Two
Just like I promised :)
--
Apparently, Jon hadn’t been sleeping. He was awake, waiting for me to come home. And he heard me talking to Dad. “You’ve been dating Tim for two years?!” He had that weird but cute face a kid gets when they’re really surprised. “Ugh!” I threw my head back. This was exactly why I didn’t want anyone to know. I didn’t like how everyone made such a big deal out of everything. Mom was just laughing. But not laughing like it was funny (well maybe that too), but she was laughing like she couldn’t believe it. Her little girl had been keeping a secret from her for two years. Jon was now mumbling nonsense to himself. Dad had that thinking look. He spoke up, finally. “Does Bruce know?” He had his hand resting on his chin, his eyebrows furrowed. That’s how he looked when he interviewed people for the paper. Mom did the same thing too. They look serious. “…no.” I said quietly, as if he wouldn’t hear. HIs reaction was not what I expected. “Oh my God! You’ve managed to keep a secret from Bruce for two years!” He turned his gaze to Mom “Honey, that’s incredible!” “Clark,” She sighed “I don’t think that’s what’s important here-” “Oh come on, it’s Tim! We’ve known him since Bruce took him in, and I’ve seen him fight. He’s not bad. We can trust him. He’s a good kid. Besides, if he does do anything, (Y/N) can handle it.” Now everyone was looking at Mom. Dad made a convincing argument. She stood silently, thinking it over, making that “hmm” sound all the while. “Alright.” I was relieved. I didn’t even know I was worried in the first place! “But from now on just be honest about whether or not you’re going out. Did you even see Barbara earlier?” “Yeah, we met for dinner. I went to the manor after.” Now it was a casual conversation. I felt a lot better about it. “Has he ever come over here?” Dad asked. “Um, no. Mostly because Jon is here. But also ‘cause I think he’s scared of you.” I looked at him. He looked pleased with the fact my boyfriend was scared of him. Now it was Jon’s turn to ask. “Wait, Tim has, like, seventy siblings, how did me being here play a part in that?” “His house is wayyy bigger. It’s easier to keep away from them. And they’re in the cave most of the time. Damian is the only one we have to worry about, really.” “Has he ever caught you guys?” Mom asked. “Yeah, he did tonight. He just laughed and walked away! He’s definitely gonna tell Bruce though. He’s coming back,” I looked at the clock on the wall. It was 12:07. “Today.” “Does anyone else know?” “Babs, Alfred, obviously, and probably Dick. But none of them have told. I just don’t want my picture in the paper under some cheesy headline about dating Tim.” “Well, hate to break it to you, but that’s inevitable, and if it were me, I’d just go and get it over with now. Plus, you never know, you might like getting interviewed.” Mom sat on the couch too and put her ams around me shoulder. I laughed and Jon dropped onto my lap, giving me a tired hug. I could feel him falling asleep on me. “I don’t think I’ll like it.” “Well, since Jon’s falling asleep, I think it’s time we all do too.” Dad stood up and put his arm around Mom and they headed up stairs. I picked up Jon and carried him to his room. “Goodnight!” I yelled to them, loud enough so they heard, but quiet enough to not wake Jon. “Night!” They yelled from their bedroom. I went to bed a little less worried than I was before.
—
The next morning went as usual: wake up early for chores, and then eat and go on with the day. Powers made chores a lot easier. We could lift heavy stuff easily, and flying made feeding a lot easier too, albeit it may freak out some of the animals. After chores, Jon and I get breakfast. Usually I just make toast for both of us, but Mom made pancakes this morning, so we had those instead. Jon was telling me about his week at school when my phone rang. It was Tim. “Sorry Jon, gimme a minute-“ I picked it up “Hey, what’s up?” “Sorry if this is too short notice, but, wanna go somewhere today? Hello?” I honestly didn’t know what to say I looked at Jon, then my food, then around the room. He wanted to go out in public? So suddenly? I thought of what Mom said. About getting it over with. Maybe this was a good idea. “Yeah I’m here, uh, yeah. Sounds good, where do you wanna go?” Jon gave me a questioning look. I waved my hand for him to stop. “I don’t know, maybe just for lunch somewhere and then come back to my house. Not a whole day out or anything.” “Is Bruce home?” He stuttered on the next sentence. “Actually, heh, the whole family is home. And staring me down right now. So, is that a yes?” “Yeah! Just let me tell my parents. Hold on one sec-“ I put my phone down and ran outside where Dad was. “Hey, can I go to Gotham for the day?” “Um, sure. Tim?” I did that nervous giggle “Yeah. We’re going out. Like outside. In public.” He didn’t understand my emphasis at first, but soon he got it. He smiled. “‘Bout time. I’ll tell your mother. Have fun.” He gave me a hug and I ran back inside, picking the phone back up. “You there?” “Yep. What did Superdad say?” “I’ll be there, what time?” “Meet in the square at 12?” “Sounds good!” “Alright, see you then.” “See ya, bye.” “Bye.” I hung up, and put the phone down. Jon looked at me. “Date?” “Yup.” “Can I come?” “No! Jon, that’s not how a date works!” “Sorry! I don’t wanna be stuck at home all day, it’s boring!” I stood up and ruffled his hair, “Not this time, but maybe I’ll take you to Gotham tomorrow, ok?” “Mmm, ok…” He mumbled. I did feel bad, but I didn’t wanna bring my brother on a date.
—-
After changing back into civilian clothes, I walked around the square looking for Tim. It was Saturday, so It was quite busy, making it harder to find Tim. I tried to focus and listen for his voice or his heartbeat or something, but it was hard with all the people. Eventually, I found him, hands shoved in pockets, shifting weight back and forth from his heels to his toes. He was wearing sun glasses, a light blue shirt, dark cuffed pants, and dark unbuttoned sports jacket. He looked nice. I wore a black jumpsuit (spaghetti strap on top with a “v” shaped neckline, and loose pants attached), some jewelry (including a necklace and a ring he had gotten me) and a beige cardigan, also unbuttoned with the sleeves rolled up a little. I also wore my glasses. Like my father, I wore glasses in public. They were almost identical as his: basic sort of rectangular-square shape with black rims. I walked up beside him and tapped his shoulder, he turned quickly, startled. “Oh, hey!” “Hiya! How’re you?” “Good,” He put his arm around me and began walking towards, I assumed, the restaurant we would eat at “Bruce got back early this morning, and Damian told him as soon as he walked in the door. He said he had suspicion we were together, but said he would never have expected me to ask you out. He said he figured it was just two teens crushing on each other, oblivious.” I laughed, and he took off his glasses, folding them to hang on the collar of his shirt. “Yeah, when I came home, my dad asked me why I smelled like cologne. I kinda gave up before I even tried, figured it would be easier. He kinda freaked when I told him how long we’ve been dating, but he’s ok with it. The whole family is.” I smiled up at him. “That makes two of us then.” He looked down and smiled back at me. We were waiting to cross the street, waiting for the light to turn, when I heard the first camera flash. I listened in that direction, and heard people talking. “That’s one of the Wayne kids!” “Who’s he with? Are they together?” “Who’s the mystery girl?” The light turned and we got lost in the middle of the crowd of people crossing as well. “T, people are taking pictures. And talking.” “Seriously? I thought they’d at least wait ‘till we sat down and got food…” He started looking around him. “There! Got one! ‘Think they’ll follow us to the cafe?” Tim’s guilty pleasure was being stupid in front of paparazzi for fun. I’d seen pictures of him before. It was usually just stuff like winking at the camera or making a weird face, but he had something else planned today. “I don’t know, probably. Why, what’re you gonna do?” “Just wait.” The cafe was right on the corner. It was a nice, casual place, but Tim said they had really good food and even better coffee. We got a table for two outside near the sidewalk. Service was quick to come. “Hi! What can I get you two to start?” The waitress came over with a pad of paper and pen. “Raspberry Italian soda,” “…Alright, and you, sir?” “I’ll have a coffee, and could you bring me a piece of paper, letter sized, and a pen?” “I’ll see what I can do. I’ll be right back with your drinks.” “Thanks.” We both said to her. Tim leaned closer to me over the table, and I heard more shutters go off. “Where are they?” He asked. “Across the street and at the corner. Seriously what are you planning?” “Just wait!” He smiled and the waitress came back with our drinks, along with a sharpie and a large piece of card stock paper, probably larger than letter size. “Here you are,” She set the drinks down and handed Tim the paper and pen. “Are you ready to order?” “A few more minutes, thanks.” Tim spoke up and waited until she walked away, then he started scribbling on the paper. “What are you doing?” I laughed at how ridiculous he looked. He bolded the letters and then held up the paper and showed it to me. “T! You cannot do that!” I started laughing and put my head in my hands. It said, in bold and capitals: “THIS IS MY GIRLFRIEND AND SHE IS THE BEST GIRLFRIEND AND I LOVE HER!!!” “Watch me,” he said and held up the paper over his head, smiling like an idiot and pointing to me. The shutters went *off* right then. People in the restaurant noticed too, and started to recognize us. Well, mostly Tim. I couldn’t stop laughing, but I tried taking a few sips of my drink to help stop it. During my break, Tim spoke up. “Hey, kiss me.” “In front of them? No!” “Come on! Please!” He leaned in still holding the sign. “Fine.” I kissed him quick, maybe one second or two, but if even possible, more shutters went off than before. Reading the paper was gonna be fun tomorrow.

“WAYNE WARD DATING JOURNALISTS’ DAUGHTER!” I threw the paper down on the kitchen table Sunday morning. “Just like I thought.”

Home (Peter Parker x Reader)
You had a free period for 6th and you couldn’t be more thankful. School was always a pain in the ass for you and the less time spent there, the better. You walked into Mr. Delmar’s deli and you greeted the man with a smile and wave.
“There’s one of my favorite loyal customers!” He shouted smiling with his arms stretched out, “No Mr. Parker today?” You blushed at the mention of your boyfriend and Mr. Delmar’s evident notice in you both being attached at the hip.
“Free period today Mr. Delmar, but speaking of that dweeb would you mind-”
“A number 5 with pickles and smushed down real flat?” Mr. Delmar interrupted causing you to erupt into laughter while nodding your head. Mr. Delmar knew your orders like the back of his hand, he would argue that it was a natural talent but you knew it was because Peter stopped by almost every day after school to pick you both up some late lunch.
You smiled and waved bye to Mr. Delmar as he handed you your sandwiches and you were on your way again.
You didn’t want to head home knowing no one was there, so you decided on Peter’s apartment since you knew you’d end up there somehow anyways.
You trudged on to his apartment complex with your headphones in jamming to one of the playlists you made Peter, pulling out the spare key he had given you.
You softly smiled at the little web drawn on it, he drew it the day you found out he was Spider-Man.
~ flashback ~ “But what if you get hurt?! What if you don’t make it back to me?!” You cried, the tears threatening to spill as you struggled fighting them back.
“Baby, baby don’t think like that,” he soothed as his hand caressed you cheek, “You know I’d never leave you. But this isn’t a day job, I can’t quit and just stop when I have the ability to save people.”
You sighed and closed your eyes, leaning into his palm. You knew he was right, you actually secretly admired all the good Spider-Man has done for New York, but now that you know he’s your dorky boyfriend you couldn’t help from worrying. At least this confirmed why his natural clumsy self had amazing new reflexes and how he got this very new muscular body, although you’d always thought he was fit. For a while you had thought he was on drugs but then you remembered how he has to crush a medicine pill in order to swallow it- so drugs were ruled out.
He sensed your fear and pulled you into a tight embrace, softly holding your head against his shoulder. “Hey hey hey, listen to me, i’m gunna be ok. I’m practically indestructible.” He chucked lightly, trying to ease the mood.
You rolled your eyes at his horrible timing to make a joke and softly pushed away. “Peter, we’ve been dating for 6 months and we’ve been best friends for years..I know when you’re bullshitting me.” You voiced trying not to sound as scared as you were.
Peter’s eyes softened as he saw just how concerned you actually were. He didn’t know how to ease your pain until an idea popped into his head.
“Give me your key.” He announced. “W-what? Why?” You asked as you noticed the hopeful gleam in his eye. “Just trust me, let me see your key to the apartment.”
You curiously pulled your key out from your bag and handed it to him as he excitedly took it from your hand and looked in his desk drawers. “What are you-”
“Shhh just give me a sec.” he interrupted as he pulled out a red sharpie and started scribbling on it.
“Peter if you’re drawing a penis on my key I swear I will break up with you right now.” You said causing him to giggle and shh you once again. He finalized a few things on the key and then softly blew on it to dry the sharpie. Holding it up for him to further examine he smiled and handed it back to you with a shy smile. You gave him a questioning look as you took it from his hands and looked down at your key.
There you saw a little red web with a tiny “p” scribbled on the corner. You broke out in a smile as you ran your thumb across the sharpied web as he stood in front of you smiling wider at your reaction.
“This way you’ll always have a piece of me with you and it’ll always lead me home.”
You couldn’t help but let a few tears freely fall as you stood up on your tip toes to tightly wrap your arms around your boyfriends neck.
“I can’t stay mad at you” you sighed into his neck, “spider-man.” You whispered the last part causing him to smile into your shoulder and tighten his grip around you. ~ present ~
You sighed as your thumb caressed the web remembering how the very next day he stumbled into your bedroom window with a black eye and bruised lip. Entering his apartment you found Aunt May doing the dishes as the radio softly played in the background.
You tip toed behind her and whispered “Hi May!” by her ear causing her to jump and squeal as you giggled.
“Oh you little jerk you just about gave me a heart attack!” May heavily breathed holding a hand to her heart.
“Sorry May, I just couldn’t help myself!” You laughed as you raised your hands in defense. “Ugh huh sure you couldn’t, well for that you get to dry!” She said throwing you a kitchen towel.
You caught it with both hands and held a hand to your heart. “Well I’d be honored.” You joked as she laughed and you stood next to her drying the dishes.
“Wait what are you even doing here? Not that you aren’t always welcome and that I don’t love seeing your beautiful face but shouldn’t you be in school? I will not tolerate any ditching under this house.” May quirked an eyebrow as she finished using her “authoritative” tone that she strictly uses to make Peter clean his room.
You laughed and raised your arms in defense. “Free period May, no ditching has been done, I gotta say your lack of faith in me really hurts.” You fake pouted making May roll her eyes and bump you with her hip. You both laughed and then continued to wash the dishes side by side while singing along to whatever old 80s song was playing on the radio.
After the dishes were washed and dried, May gave you a quick kiss to the forehead as a thank you and headed to her room to watch her shows. May always thought of you like a daughter and when you and Peter were strictly just friends she had always secretly hoped you two would become more. I guess she saw right through all the teasing and late nights studying for tests although it took you both a little longer to realize.
You grabbed your bag from the door and headed into Peter’s room, throwing it on the floor somewhere. You took in the sight of your boyfriends small but welcoming room and although there was shirts out of place and the bed was unmade, it was still clean for a teenage boy.
You picked up around his room and made his bed only to plop down on his bottom bunk and wait till your boyfriend came home.
You knew he’d be home late today as he had “the stark internship” so you managed to get a little homework in before the moon accompanied you.
The day caught up with you and you felt your eyes get droopy so you decided to take a quick nap before he came home. Your current attire was too tight and uncomfortable for you to sleep in so you were on the search for something more suited.
Rummaging through his drawers, you pulled out his midtown long sleeve and quickly pulled it on. You noticed it still smelled like him and you smiled while you hugged it to yourself, the shirt reaching mid thigh on your noticeably smaller frame.
You threw your hair up in a messy bun and slipped your pants off grabbing a pair of Peter’s boxers to finish the look. You checked yourself out in the mirror and giggled at how big everything looked on you. You laid on his bed with your headphones in and fell asleep cuddling one of his pillows.
It was now 8:46 at night, you had been asleep for roughly two hours so you didn’t notice the window sliding up and a full suited Spider-man crawling on the roof. Due to your sleeping state, he hadn’t noticed you either.
Peter pulled his mask off and dropped it on his desk as he softly jumped down from the ceiling. He sighed once his feet hit the ground and let the suit fall off his body, quickly gathering it up and putting it away for safe keeping.
Peter went to grab a T-shirt from his dresser when he noticed his room didn’t look how he left it. Starting to panic, Peter went to reach for the suit again, that’s when he noticed a human formed lump on his bed.
Putting on the mask, he tip toed over to his bed ready to fight when he suddenly stopped as he recognized his blue midtown sweater.
Pulling the mask off once again, he saw that the lump in his bed was you and he smiled a sigh of relief.
His heart leaped out of his chest when he saw you sleeping but it soared when he noticed you were wearing his shirt. He looked around his room realizing that you must of cleaned it up and recognized the small white bag sitting atop his desk as a sandwich from Mr. Delmar’s.
He couldn’t really believe he had you, not only were you one of his best friends, but you didn’t freak out when he admitted he liked you and you actually liked him back, and you didn’t run away or make him stop being Spider-man when you found out. Not to mention he thought you were the most gorgeous person he’s ever laid eyes on.
He smiled to himself picturing you cleaning his room and grabbing him lunch, which he would never ask of you and not because he enjoyed you doing things for him, but the fact that you did it knowing his busy schedule and knowing he didn’t have the time to do it himself.
He leaned over you and pressed a gentle kiss to your temple, causing you to stir slightly and wake up.
You broke out in a yawn and stretched as you noticed your boyfriend leaning above you and your face lit up.
“Thank God, I was beginning to worry when you’d come home.” You smiled, your voice still tracing signs of sleep as it was barely audible.
Peter smiled and got into bed next to you, you moving aside and positioning yourself laying on his outstretched left arm staring up at him.
His arm wrapped around you, his fingers tracing random patterns on your arm as he kissed your forehead and muttered,
“I’ll always come home knowing I have you to greet me. No matter who I fight or what pain I feel, my only cure is evidently my only weakness; you.”
You didn’t reply, you didn’t need to. You lifted your hand to his cheek and leaned up to press your lips against his.
No words could ever compare to the meaning behind that kiss, it wasn’t only a proclamation of love, but a promise. A promise to always be his cure and his promise that he’d always come back to you, in any form shape or way.
He held you close as you pulled away, both of you wearing soft smiles on your lips as he looked into your eyes and whispered, “you are my home.”

Love is selfish - Part 1
A/N: I really tried T.T the story was really impromptu in my mind and I thought of just spamming my ideas out. Sorry for making Moon Bin an asshole in this story and making Y/N so selfish! ☹ I also apologize for every grammatical mistake (It’s really messy) and so many ‘you(s)’ in this story. Please let me know if you want a part 2. Yea, it’s quite dramatic.
Word Count: 6311 words
The next two hours of Economics lectures hurts your brain, and the hashtag - TGIF isn’t working out well in your life anymore. You realized that you had more or less than 13 minutes left to head for the next lecture, you gathered notes that were essential for it. You took a big gulp of water while making your way to leave the classroom. Without watching where you were going, you bumped into someone that made you lose balance and fell on the floor. “Sorry- sorry! I wasn’t looking.” He apologized, not knowing who did you exactly bump into. You were just picking up your notes that were scattered all over the floor.
“It’s okay.” You replied and looked up at him. Looking at each other felt as if that the both of you didn’t talk to each for the longest time ever. He helped by picking up your notes. He passed you the notes and offered you a hand. You took it without hesitation, in a swift, he pulled you off the ground. He cleared his throat as he walked around the classroom as if he was looking for something. “What are you doing here?” You asked, and he looked at you as if he was surprised at your question.
“Where is Rocky’s table? I gotta grab his shirt.”
You pointed to him Rocky’s table, and he scratched his head, nodding. He avoided your eyes and walked towards Rocky’s table. “Moon Bin, when are you stop avoiding me?” You asked impatiently.
“Y/N, your class is starting in 10 minutes time. You’ve got to go.” His tone towards you sounded foreign like he was trying to push you away.
You walked to his side, “Can we meet tomorrow? I didn’t catch up with you for three weeks.”
“I’ve got a project to do.” He looked at you, expressionless. “See you another time.”
The lesson was extraordinarily boring, and none of the contents of the lecture is absorbed into your subconscious mind. Staring at the projector in the lecture hall, you sighed as you scribbled Moon Bin’s name on the paper. You just can’t get forget how Moon Bin has pushed you away for the first time.
“Y/N?” You looked up clueless as the lecturer spit your name through the microphone. “What’s the answer to this question I asked the class?” Ms. Park eyes bored into your soul as you panicked to answer, not even knowing what was the question. “You were not paying attention, Y/N. If it’s that boring, get out of my class.” She snapped at you.
You tried paying attention to the lesson, and nothing was making sense so far whatever Ms. Park was teaching. You left the classroom clueless about the topics taught today, as Min Ji was ranting about how terrible her boyfriend was yesterday leaving her alone in the club. You were listening, but the thought of Moon Bin pushing you away is etched onto your mind.
“Y/N! God! Are you even listening?!” Min Ji raised her voice.
“Yea Seo Joon scolded you for being a b****.” Repeating what she told you. She rolled her eyes, “At least you’re listening. God, can you believe that? How can my own boyfriend say that……?” She continued.
The buzzing sound vibrated vigorously in your pockets. “Sorry, wait a minute.” You cut Min Ji off unintentionally and hold up a hand signal. She rolled her eyes at you but held up an ‘ok’ signal. “Yup, Y/N here.”
"Y/N, Han Seok here. Is everything okay?” He asked nicely.
“Yeah? Why?”
“Ahhh, I guess you forgot about the movie date today?”
You facepalmed yourself, “Right! I’m sorry. It totally slipped my mind!” Min Ji gave you the why-am-I-not-surprised look at you as you quickly waved goodbye to grab your school bag from the classroom.
"Oppa!” You waved your arms in the air to get his attention. The moment he turned around, he smiled brightly as he waved back and ran to your side. You smiled at him, as he took your hands and intertwined your fingers with his. For the first time, butterflies weren’t flying in your stomach when you walked beside him, unlike the previous times. It felt more like guilt for being with him. It wasn’t right.
Getting rid of those thoughts, you shook your head and focused your attention on him. “Y/N, are you okay?” Han Seok stopped in his tracks and turned to face you. “You look very worn out today, did anything happen in school?”
You bit your lips, “ Nothing. Sorry, Oppa it’s just school stuff that’s stressing me out. ”
Han Seok looked at you, “Sorry that I wasn’t by your side.” He pats your head. You didn’t lie in general, things really did happen in school but it wasn’t nice to tell him about the friendship problems you are currently facing with Moon Bin. “You wanted to watch the Mummy right? Let’s go.“ You changed the subject. He nods his head in agreement and pulled you along to the cinema.
The Mummy was worse than you expected. You didn’t get thrilled nor scared at all. Han Seok reached out for your hands and gave you a small smile. "Hey is everything okay?”
“Yea, it is just boring. Not interesting much.” You whispered. Some couple just asked the both of you to shut up from the back that you and Han Seok stuck your tongues out back at them.
Your phone flashed 4.53pm. Whatever happened in school was still clinging onto your mind. How are you supposed to enjoy the movie if these incidents are going to keep replaying on your mind? Suddenly, you heard strange sounds that you started to look around. You spot a man snoring in the cinema and the scenes bring you back to a time when you watched the Conjuring 2 with Moon Bin.
“Do you know why man always falls asleep during a horror movie?”
You shook your head, “No?”
Moon Bin pointed out, “It’s because he always breaks winds when he is tense so he will use his snores to cover them up.”
Throwing a popcorn at his face, “Don’t be lame. It’s not funny.”
Moon Bin defended himself, “No! I am serious. See?!” The movie showed a nun coming jumping out of the curtains that you heard a faint fart from the side your ears. You and Moon Bin stuck out to see a little boy snoring on the chair and faced each other laughing.
“Hehe.” You snickered to yourself as you watched that man. Han Seok tap your shoulders and you turned to face him, “Hm?”
“Let’s go.” Han Seok stood up and pulled you out of the chair. You silently apologized for blocking the screening of the movie to the people sitting behind you. Dragging you out of the cinema confused, you asked, “Oppa? I thought you liked the movie.”
“But you didn’t. You could have been honest with me, Y/N.” You were taken aback at what he said. You felt guilt the next moment because your mind was just filled with memories of you and Moon Bin the whole time when you were beside Han Seok.
You reached out to him, “I’m sorry, it’s been a really tiring day at school. I thought since you like the movie I should have accompanied you.”
“Which part of ‘dating’ do you not get it? Y/N, can’t you see I am trying hard to resolve what I destroyed?” He asked you angrily.
“Han Seok, what’s wrong with you?! I have already forgiven you. Isn’t it good enough?” God, did his time of the month came?
He let out a heavy sigh, “It’s just that I never seem to figure out what do you really like. I mean everything we are doing right now seemed to be all about me and not about you.”
“I like theme parks. Let’s go there another time.” You mentioned, stopping the fight from continuing. Everything that happened today is too much to handle.
He nodded his head, “Okay, I will buy tickets for the both of us. I’m sorry, Y/N. I was too mad at myself.”
Slinging your bag on your shoulders, “I want to go home.” And from there, you took your leave. The both of you walked home hand-in-hand, and things solved along the way as time passes by. He tried making you feel even better by laughing but you just can’t seem to be yourself when you are with him.
“Okay. Go in, your mom would be worried by now.” He lets go of your hands.
You nodded and reminded him, “Be safe.” Waving at him, he suddenly grabbed hold of your wrist and stole a quick kiss from your lips. Your eyes widened at what happened that left yourself tongue-struck, not knowing what to say.
“I’m going. Bye.” He waved as you blinked several times. It wasn’t a dream, it just happened like that. Your finger reached out to your lips and touched them. Why are you not a bit excited about that kiss at all?
Pondering over what just happened, you noticed someone was watching all the time. You looked up at the house next to you, Moon Bin’s home. You saw your best friend at the window staring at you as he stood in front of his yellow curtain. Your mood lightened up at the sight of him and waved, but he stood there with his hands stuck in his pockets. He was angry… because he saw everything. The next moment he ignored you like you were invisible and pushed the curtains away from him and disappeared into thin air. What have you exactly done to deserve this attitude from him?
“Mommmm, I’m home.”
Her butt was standing out from the kitchen while she was washing the dishes. “Honey! Your dinner is on the table!”
Dropping your school bag on the floor, you flopped down on the sofa in frustration. “URGHHHHHH” You roared that your mother stuck her head out to look at what’s going on.
She removed her gloves and walked into the living room worried. “Baby, what’s wrong?”
Sighing, “I don’t want to talk about it. The more I think about it, the more I might burst!” Your mother wanted to say something, but knowing your mood will get worse she snapped her fingers as if she had something else that could cheer you up.
“How about going Lotte world with your friends next week? I have two tickets with me here.”
“Lotte world? How did you even get the tickets?” Cocking one side of your eyebrows at her. She clapped her hands together, “Ahhh, today Moon Bin’s mother and I went shopping again. They said if we got the beauty skincare masks, we each can get two free tickets to the Lotte World!”
Chuckling at her bubbly character, “Mom, you have to seriously stop with your fetish over free stuff.”
“Hey, at least I’m giving them to you! I’m too old for this.” She put it on the table, “Its next two following Fridays. Go have some fun, honey. The school is stressing you out.” She pats your head, as she continued with her housework.
“Thank you, chupchupchup.” You blow kisses to her and she shook her head slightly.
Holding the tickets in your hands, you walked along the classroom corridors. Should you call Han Seok? Moon Bin? The answer was clear when you caught sight of Moon Bin leaning against a wall. He was concentrating in his phone, and your eyes dilated. You sped up, as you wanted to ask him to go to the theme park with you. The both of you are most hyped up about theme parks since young.
You waved at him and called out, “Moon-”. Seung-min came out of her classroom and kissed Moon Bin on his cheeks. Dropping your hands to your sides, you realize why Moon Bin has been avoiding you. He has a girlfriend. Turning around, your heart started to ache. Was it because you felt betrayed that he did not update about his life or was it because you didn’t want him to date?
Taking part in the life science club after school was the decision you never regretted. You got to deal with chemicals and many sciencey kinds of stuff that is not exposed to the actual science lessons. But today was awkward, the teacher assigned you to work with Seung Min, your junior. You coughed awkwardly as she sat down and smiled sweetly at you for acknowledgment. Seung Min hasn’t really done anything to offend you, so it’s best that you should respect her relationship with Moon Bin.
“Hello! Let’s get started on this together.” You said nicely, and to your surprise, she was the cutest human being you’ve ever met. No wonder that Moon Bin has taken a liking on her.
As you squeezed 2cm3 of ammonia acid into Copper hydroxide that Seung Min was holding in her hands, you envied at how cute and pretty she was. “So… last long with Moon Bin. I saw you and him together at the cinema last week.” You teased her. You wanted to make a friendship with her just like how you are friendly and well-respected with everyone in the life science club.
Her body tensed as she looked at you, ‘’ Unnie, are you being sarcastic? “
Alarmed by her question, “What?! No, sorry. Did I mention anything wrong?” You asked sincerely.
“I mean, you and Moon Bin were close. I thought that you would hate me for it.”
“Oh please, you’re Moon Bin’s girlfriend! Of course, I would support the both of you together. Plus, I’m dating too.” You blushed while mentioning your dating status.
She shot up in a sudden, that you thought the chemical could have spilled out of the test tube and made contact with her skin, “Really?! Since when?!”
“Heyhey! Careful!” You reprimanded, “You could’ve hurt yourself!”
“Sorry.” She whispered as she watched the test-tube placed on the stand. You continued, “Yea, it has been for a month now.”
“Ahhhhhh, last long!!” Seung Min clapped her hands together that you laughed in embarrassment.
“Thank you. You too, Seung Min.”
As the both of you worked together, the more you liked that adorable character of hers. You felt guilty for having a little hatred when you first saw her kissing Moon Bin’s cheeks. She wasn’t as bad as you thought she was.
“Now class, get the chemical X and dump into Y. And be careful! If it touches you, you might not want to face the world anymore!” The teacher warned but in a funny manner that the whole laboratory students laughed together at her. As Seung-min took chemical X from the end of the table to pour into Y, she tripped on the legs of the chair and it created a commotion.
“SEUNG MIN! CAREFUL!” Ms. Kim warned. Everything happened in a slow motion when the chemical spilled onto your hands, leaving behind a burning and stinging sensation, making your eyes tearing.
“SAN HA, CALL MR. LEE FROM THE RED CROSS CLUB NOW. SEUNG MIN AND Y/N ARE IN DANGER.” Ms. Kim ordered him. He nodded and took off immediately. Everyone started to crowd around your table. Some attended to Seung Min, while some attended to you. You started tearing for feeling physical pain for the first time, it stung so badly as if your skin was ripping off from your flesh and blood.
Mr. Lee started marching in, looking horrified at the situation. The dance members also started to peep in. San-ha quickly asked the teacher-in-charge (TIC) to take a look at my hand. “Unnie, Are you okay? There is steam coming out from your hands!”
You shook your head silently at him. At the side of your eye, you saw Moon Bin looking horrified and pushed himself through the crowd. You wanted to tell him that Seung Min is injured in the process. “Moon Bin! Seung Min is injured- ‘’
“SEUNG MIN!” Moon Bin ran past you without acknowledgment of your presence. His knees were on the ground next to Seung Min. He worriedly checked every side of her and made sure she was okay but he did not take a look at you at all, despite the burning sensation that was stinging your hands. You could only stare at the sink.
You only could hear Moon Bin asking worriedly, “Mr. Lee Is everything okay for Seung Min?”
“She only received a cut from the test-tube on her knee. You can just bring her to the General Office to touch up. We need to attend to- “
Moon Bin carried Seung Min within his arms, not listening to what Mr. Kim has to say. “Okay, I’ll bring her.” He rushed out of the laboratory as everyone watched the scene. Whispers started to circulate among the club members, ‘’ Is Moon Bin over-reacting? Her cut is barely even less than 2cm.”
Mr. Lee took over by trying to bandage your hand before sending you to the doctors. You continued to hear more of the members’ conversation, “How did Seung Min get her knee getting cut from the broken test-tube? Not like it’s a grenade bomb that caused her to fall on the ground.”
“That’s why! How is it possible? I mean the least she could have been injured is a tiny cut on her finger. Isn’t it?”
As Ms. Kim drove you to the hospital, your mom totally freaked out from the news and wanted to quickly rush to the hospital that you are heading to but you convinced her to stay at home to prepare for dinner. “Is there a need to drive me to the hospital? I’m fine with a nearby clinic.”
“No, it’s necessary. The school requires any chemical injuries should be directed to the hospital right away.” Ms. Kim replied. You sighed. How the hell did Moon Bin did not take a look at you or even cared for you at all? Is he blind? Was he not going to recognize your existence at all? You felt extremely betrayed by his actions.
Ms. Kim stood beside you as the doctor attended to you, “Make sure that you apply this cream onto your hands every night before you go to sleep. This way, your hands will be back to normal again, okay?” You nod your head as he touched up your wounds and wrapped her hands tightly with the bandage. “There you go. The counter will give you what you need.”
You walked beside Ms. Kim awkwardly, “Sorry Ms. Kim I must have worried you badly.” You smiled awkwardly as you rubbed the back of your neck.
She pointed her finger at you, “You’re lucky it’s not your face this time! The school will cover your medical fees so don’t worry about it.”
“Thanks, I’ll make a call.” You mentioned and Ms. Kim went to the counter to settle the payments. You keyed in Han Seok’s number with one side of your hands awkwardly, but that sense of achievement and pride rose in you when the phone call managed to reach Han Seok.
“Y/N?” Han Seok answered.
“Oppa, I’m at the hospital. Can you drive me home? It’s inconvenient for me to go back with my teacher so…”
The call ended with beepings and you looked at your screen, “Hello? Hello?’’ You haven’t finished your sentence and the next moment, Han Seok ran towards you in his Doctor Uniform? Is that what they call it?
“Y/N! What happened?” He kneeled in front of you and noticed your bandaged hand, “Your hand! Why? Goodness sake, stop being careless!”
To stop him from nagging at you, you poked his cheeks with your index finger to get his attention, “I’m okay.” He examined your bandaged hands. “Y/N, this is…” Ms. Kim came to you and looked at Han Seok.
“Oh, Ms. Kim HELLO, well um this is my boyfriend? “You grinned awkwardly, which student would introduce their partners to their teachers? Han Seok stood up, “I’m Han Seok.” He introduced himself as he exchanged a handshake with Ms. Kim, and in return, she introduced herself as your teacher and explained what happened in school.
“I guess I’ll take it from here.” He took the cream that the doctor prescribed to you, and carried my bag, “Thank you for taking care of her.”
“No problem, so Y/N, I’ll see you in school tomorrow.” You nodded your head in reply and waved her goodbye.
Han Seok drove with a frown formed between his brows and did not speak a word to you at all, you turned to face him from your seat, “Oppa, I am sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt myself.”
“It’s not within your control, Y/N. You don’t have to apologize.”
“Then talk to me.” You pleaded.
“Let’s not go for the Lotte World, shall we?” He asked.
“I want to go! With you!”
“But… your hand…” He sighed as he made a turn, “I don’t want you to get injured further okay?”
“I promise we won’t sit for the aggressive riders. I mean, my hand is totally fine! Look!” You shook your bandaged hand aggressively in the air to prove him that it is a small matter. It went into a total fail when you started to groan in pain.
Han Seok pressed on the brakes at the side of the road, “That’s what I meant!” He unhooked his seatbelt immediately and took your injured hand, “Is it painful?”
You nod your head gently, but that’s not the point. You want to go to the Lotte World with him, to treat him better. “Please, can we go to the theme park?”
“No rollercoasters.” He glared.
“Fine.” You gave him a smug look that he shook his head smiling, he gave up arguing with you. He pressed his lips on your forehead, “I was so worried when you told me you were in the hospital.”
“I’m really sorry. At least you came to me.” You said sarcastically but bit your tongue the moment you said it. Snap what did I just say.
“Huh?” Han Seok pulled away from you, and you cleared your throat. “At least you’re worried and the first thing was to look for me, right?”
“Of course, I would!” He answered in a defending manner, and he hugged you. “You’re all that I have now.”
“Oppa…” Han Seok’s eyes fell your lips and pulled in for a kiss. You wanted to, and you thought you were ready until his phone rang loudly that totally caused the both of you to jump back to your seats. (A/N: GUYS I STRUGGLED WRITING THIS SCENE I CRINGED SO BADLY IDK WHY OK MOVING ON)
“geez.” You fanned yourself in awkwardness and swiped away that fake sweat that you thought was rolling down the side of your face.
“I suck.” Han Seok cussed under his breath that was almost unnoticeable but you clearly heard what he said about himself, it must have been very discouraging for him and you felt extreme shame for yourself.
He picked up the phone call concerning some doctor-y stuff as you distracted yourself by looking out through the car’s window. Your house is just down the lane. “Yea, okay, I’m heading back soon.” Han Seok watched you and you looked at him, as he spoke on the phone, “Okay see you at the hospital. Bye.” He ended the call.
“I can walk back myself. It’s okay.”
“But, your hands…”
“I’m 17.”
“Okay. Let me open the car door for you.” He walked out of the car, and you watched him coming to your side opening the door for you and unlocked your seatbelt. You stepped out of the car as he helped to put on your school bag on your shoulders.
He placed both of his hands on your shoulders, squeezing them tightly, “You sure you’ll be okay?”
“Yes, I promise. Remember, 2 O’ CLOCK.” It’s your turn to remind him this time.
“Okay, take care.” He kissed your forehead, even though the both of you knew what was missing but you chose to ignore it. “Bye.”
“Bye.” You walked away, feeling a sense of relief somehow that like a time bomb froze at the last second before you thought it would explode.
“Y/N.“ The voice sounded as if you didn’t hear it for decades, like a song that was hidden at the very back of your playlist. The both of you stood respectively at your own gates. Clenching your fists, "Wow, you’re finally willing to talk to me after a whole month?” Your tone sounded sarcastically without any intention.
“What have I exactly done to make you so angry at me? You decided to date that toxic guy first.“ He commented.
"Excuse me? Is that the only thing you want to tell me after avoiding me for a month?! How about you getting a girlfriend? Oh sorry, I’m not your friend anymore. Aren’t I?! You didn’t even look at when I got injured by the chemical!” You screamed at him, letting go of the grudge you held against him for so long.
He sighed, as he reached out his hands into his pockets, “It’s not that, I wanted to tell that I have two–”
“You have a girlfriend.” You continued the sentence, turned to the gate and unlocked it.
Moon Bin removed his hands from his pockets, showing two familiar tickets to you. His patience with you slowly forms into a spite with you, “Yea! I have a girlfriend. So, you’re saying I should give than to Seung Min, right? I’ll listen to my dearest, DEAREST best friend.”
“FINE, ENJOY WITH HER THEN!” You argued back, and the next thing you did was you slam the gate behind you and stomp back to your bedroom.
You grabbed a cute white-laced tank top and a pair of shorts slipped on a pair of black converse. Tying your hair into a cute messy bun, you shouted: “Mom, I am going out for Lotte World soon!”
“Wait for a second,” Your mother exclaimed as she ran down the stairs with a lip-gloss in her hand. She pouted her lips to you, that you mimicked her facial expression as she applied a shiny light pink liquid your lips as you pierced your lips continuously together to even them out. You looked at the mirror for the last time, and your total facial appearance was at least more presentable. “Thank you.” She was like your best friend.
“No worries darling, and make sure to come back before 12 midnight! Promise me you’ll be happy again. Okay?” She cupped your faces in her hands and you nodded. She pecks your cheeks and chased you out of the house. “Bye.” You smiled at her.
As you stepped out of the house, you heard a car honked, and you saw Han Seok waving at you as he stepped out of the car. Waving back, you quickly rushed to Han Seok side. He pulled in again for a kiss on your lips that you giggled slightly. “Let’s go, shall we?” He asked as he pressed his lips against the back of your hands that you chuckled out, “Yes.”
He opened the car door for you and you stepped in, taking a seat. You know today he is going to make you feel better and he will take good care of you. You started to leave all worries behind the back of your mind. As Han Seok closed the car door for you, you looked out of the windscreen and saw your mother watching from the curtains, smiling at the both of you. You waved at her again, and Han Seok noticed who you were looking at. “That’s my mom.” You pointed.
He smiled and nodded at her, and also waved. Your mother felt relieved and waved again before she closed the curtains. “Now I see where you get your beauty genes from.” He winked at you.
Smacking the sides of his forearms, “Stop it and drive.” He laughed as he stepped up the engine and drove past your neighborhood. Your eyes followed Moon Bin’s home as it got past you, and a sudden small hint of pain was still lingering onto your heart. You decided to just shake it away.
Han Seok drove through the ticketing counter and you passed the counter, the tickets that you got He gave each of you a wristband that was supposedly worn around your wrist to be able to play for everything. Han Seok left his car for valet servicing and held your hands.
“What do you want to do?” He asked. You bit your lips together and you thought maybe you can give it a try to convince him to sit for the rides. The smug look must have appeared in your face without you knowing that he narrowed his eyes at you, “You’re not thinking about it.”
You grabbed his hands, “Come on! Please!!!”
He shook his head, and you pout your lips. That was every guy’s weaknesses that Han Seok let out a heavy sigh. “No 360 degrees ride.”
“VIKING!!! Let’s go!!” You pulled him along in excitement. The rides were relatively fun and scary, that for the first time, Han Seok actually screamed in the ghost train ride made you laugh like crazy, his reaction was beyond control that your cheeks started to ache. He got out of the ride tickling the death out of you that you ran away from him and you laughed harder, ‘’We have to sit on it AGAIN!” He widened his eyes and rejected in fear. It’s already 6 o’clock from all the rides, that you were dead tired back there.
“We only left one attraction site, I thought we said no 360 ones! You tricked me.” Han Seok’s eyes widened at the map as you sneakily smirked at him, “Hey you had a part in wanting to sit for many rides too.” You formed a victory sign with a smug look that made him narrow his eyes on you, you win.
Han Seok grinned, “It was too fun. What do you want to play now?” He asked. You looked around and saw this dart board game where the soft toys caught your attention.
‘’How about that dart board game?” You pointed to the darting booth corner. Han Seok shrugged his shoulders, indicating that he was cool with it. Both of you walked to the booth, the toys looked fluffy and adorable that you wanted to just hug them in your arms already.
“Which one do you want? I’ll get it for you.” Han Seok said to you as you looked around. You saw this rounded-shape huge Winnie the Pooh pillow and pointed to him the one that was hanging on the ceiling in clear plastic bag.
The worker cut in and smiled at us, “You have to score five bullseyes in a row without failure to get that toy. Are you ready for the challenge?“
Han Seok took the darts and aimed, and the first one he aimed.
The second time, he hit it again! 🎯🎯 Everything tenses up when he is finally aiming for the last bullseye. "Please please please please.” You chanted as he licked his lips and threw it at the dartboard.
“YES!” You screamed excitedly at the top of your lungs as you jumped and hug him.
The girl working at the booth giggled at us, and she told us that she will get us the toy. Until another worker walked past her sulkily, “Damn it. The guy there needs to chill. He is wiping out all the toys already.”
The girl glared at him, “But they have won the toy already! Give that pillow to them” She hissed. Han Seok and you exchanged glances at each other, wondering what was going on until you heard a girl squealing and cheering.
You turned to see Moon Bin hugging Seung Min from the back, and grabbing her hand and aimed for the dart board. They hit the bullseye that he demanded the toy that you wanted to bring home. Jealousy starts to form around you again.
“Sorry? I believe that toy belongs to me. We clearly won it first.” You demanded strictly from the workers. The girl hesitated, as she tried to handle the situation.
“Let me talk to the gentleman there, please give me a minute.”
Han Seok held your hands and turned you around to face him, “How about this? Let them have it. I will buy one for you.” He offered but you shook your head reluctantly.
“No! You won that for me, and I must have it.” You argued as you turned back to see Moon Bin creating a commotion with the workers.
Walking forward to the scene you interfered into their conversation, “Sorry sir, May I help you?” You smiled arrogantly at Moon Bin.
Moon Bin looked at you as he hung his arms around Seung Min’s shoulders, “Clearly, I won this toy and it should belong to my girlfriend. Is there anything wrong here?” He was clearly trying to make you pissed off and pick a fight. He isn’t pleased with Han Seok as Han Seok wrapped his arms around your waist.
“Look, since you have won so many toys, does it kill you to give us a toy?” Han Seok spoke up.
“Yes, it’s for my girlfriend anyways.” The more he emphasized on the word girlfriend, the more you felt like your emotions were about to erupt.
The worker lifted the table and stood in between of us to handle the situation. “Okay, how about this? We will play a different game.”
She pushed out two nerf guys on the table to Han Seok and Moon Bin. “Here’s the rules, if you are able to target the clown’s red nose on all three of them. You win and will get the toy. Is that fair enough?”
Moon Bin and Han Seok bored into each other’s souls as you shook your head in embarrassment. “Why are we settling this like kids again?” You thought to yourself, but you didn’t mean to voice it out.
Together they replied you, “You wanted the toy first!” They shouted in unison that you were absolutely speechless. They are not fighting for the toy. They were fighting for you.
Moon Bin and Han Seok took turns to shoot. To aim the lowest and the second clown’s nose was easy. But the highest was a little hard to aim that they made sure they had to adjust. They shoot together at the same time.
They scored. It’s a tie… until Han Seok’s one slipped off its nose and fell on the ground. Seung Min ran up to Moon Bin and hugged him, jumping with joy while you stood there sulkily watching them. “Ugh forget it,” You told Han Seok as you turned to face another way. He rubbed the back of his neck, feeling apologetic towards you as he truly wanted to win. But you knew he tried.
“Thanks, for trying.” You took his hand and gave him a peck on his cheeks purposely for Moon Bin to catch. You looked back to see Moon Bin’s nose flaring and you smirked at the sight. You thought he deserved it to see it.
Han Seok asked you to wait for you at the bench as he headed for the toilet. You patiently waited as you scrolled through Twitter until someone in pink took a seat beside you. You almost jumped off your seat when you saw Seung Min sitting beside you. “Oh, hi Seung Min.” You waved.
“Unnie,” She called you as you switched off your phone and placed your attention on her, “You like Moon Bin? Don’t you?” She looked at me, with her eyes turning a shade darker as you took in a big gulp. That was really scary for her to look at you that way.
“No. I’m dating Han Seok. We talked about this at the lab before, remember?” You mentioned softly, trying to reassure her that nothing was going on between you and Moon Bin. She looked at you closely again, and suddenly she smiled widely all of a sudden at you. “Of course, you wouldn’t like Moon Bin! Right?” She let out a weird laughter. You watched her warily as you nodded your head slowly, “Yea… of course.” Was she possessed?
“How is your hand? It didn’t hurt much. Right?” You gave her the are-you-serious-look. Really? The first thing people normally do was to apologize but instead, she looked like she is mocking your injury. She was the one who caused you to have a bandaged hand in the first place. You stood up hastily and asked, “What do you mean by that?”
She stood up slowly, “You know what I mean. Good dogs don’t stand in the way.” She said it in a very manipulative way, that she contradicts her sentence with her looks and cute voice. You scoffed as you were amazed at the two-faced girl you were dealing with. Taking a step closer, you wanted to reply something ruthless back until Moon Bin and Han Seok came back together.
“What’s going on?” Moon Bin asked.

Chris Evans- The Meeting (part 1)
I smoothed out my black pencil skirt as I stood in the elevator, straightening out my blouse and letting out a shaky breath as I rehearsed everything in my head. This is the most important interview I’ve been to, so I need to make sure I say all the right things. I closed my eyes and recited everything in my head, breathing deeply.
The lift came to a stop and the doors opened with a ding, and I opened my eyes only for my gaze to land upon a tall, suited figure who was stepping into the elevator. My breath hitched slightly as I took in the appearance of the man who had not yet spared me a glance. His beard was scruffy, his light brown hair perfectly styled. Whoever he was, he intrigued me. He was clean cut, wearing a blue suit with polished black shoes and a perfectly aligned spotted grey tie.
The man pressed a button for his floor and turned to face me as the doors closed, my eyes suddenly meeting his beautiful blue orbs. His lips instantly turned up into a small side grin.
“Hi.”
God, his voice was sexy too. The lord is either with or against me right now.
“Uh, um.. hi.” I stuttered out, face palming internally at how pathetic I sounded. Nice going, jackass. My cheeks heated up while he chuckled deeply.
“I haven’t seen you here before, are you new?” His voice was rough but velvety soft, it was the most audibly pleasing sound I’ve ever heard.
“No. Well, erm- I have an interview today.” Smiling nervously up at him, I mentally applauded myself for managing to form a sentence without sounding illiterate.
Just as I answered him, the elevator dinged and the doors opened. I cleared my throat quietly and once again smiled at the stranger, whose gaze was on me the whole time.
“Well… bye.” Could I have sounded more awkward? Probably not. I went to step into the hallway as the man’s voice blessed my ears once again.
“Good luck,” the stranger grinned at me from inside the lift, “and relax. You’ll be fine.”
As I smiled back at him, the doors closed and I was left staring at my hazy reflection in the shiny metal. Jeez, that was the most awkward encounter of my entire life, but his looks made it worth the pain my pride felt.
Taking a deep breath, I walked to the reception desk and I was asked to take a seat in the waiting area while I waited for the interviewer. My foot tapped nervously and five whole minutes passed before someone came to get me and I was taken to a quiet room at the end of a long hallway. Closing my eyes briefly, I somehow calmed myself and entered the interview room with a friendly smile on my face. Thankfully, the interviewers were incredibly nice and seemed pleased with the answers I provided to their questions.
“Well, thank you for your time miss. We will have someone call you with the news before this evening.”
Saying my goodbyes, I left the room feeling confident and proud of myself. Upon leaving the tall company building I hailed a cab to take me back to my apartment that I shared with my friend, Chrissy. The cab dropped me off on my block, and I quickly paid the driver before hopping out and practically running into my apartment.
“Chrissy!” I shouted as I slammed the door shut and slipped my shoes off before running into the kitchen, finding her sat on a stool eating cereal in her pyjamas.
“Blimey, what is it? Was it an ex? Did you see Lady Gaga?!” She stared at me wide eyes in shock as she threw questions at me.
“What? No! Ok, brace yourself. I saw the most attractive guy EVER today. I’m talking ‘instantly drop to your knees’ kind of attractive. Tall, sexy, UGH. I’m still in shock.” I held my hand to my chest and babbled to Chrissy as she took huge mouthfuls of cereal, listening intently.
“Mm,” she held up a hand to stop me as she swallowed, “sounds gorgeous. What colour were his eyes, what was he wearing?” Her eyes narrowed as she grilled me and took another mouthful of food.
“This amazing fitted blue suit. Let me tell you, his biceps looked so good. Oh, and he had blue eyes,” I sighed as I remembered how gorgeous he was. Chrissy groaned as she chewed; we have similar taste in men.
“God, blue eyes are my weakness. They’re like an ocean I would gladly drown in.” I giggled as Chrissy wiggles her eyebrows at me and stood to put her bowl in the sink. “So, how’d the interview go? Did you get the job?”
“It was great, actually, they’re gonna call me sometime today- which reminds me,” I rummaged through my bag to retrieve my phone, “I need to make sure my ringer is on.”
“Girl, you’re gonna get it. You have way too many pros in your resume not to, it’s like a hundred pages long!” Chrissy exclaimed. I have to admit, I feel pretty confident about this.
“Thanks, Chris. You got any plans today? I’m thinking, Man of Steel and pizza.” I wiggled my eyebrows at her and watched her eyes light up at the mention of her favourite movie.
“Bitch, you BET I’m free. Get your pyjamas on, I’ll set it up and order the pizza!” She squealed and ran off to set up the TV. I laughed at her excitement and quickly changed into short pyjamas, throwing an oversized tee on and putting my hair up in a high ponytail. Within an hour the pizza had arrived and we were ready to start watching the movie, and I made sure I had my phone next to me so I wouldn’t miss a call if I received one.
“Ugh, what a MAN. Seriously, if he crashed into my back yard, I’d give him much more than a place to stay.” Chrissy mumbled as Henry Cavill came on screen, almost making me choke on mine.
“Honestly, I can’t disagree. I’d let superman snap me like a twig.” I put down my pizza slice and got up from the couch.
We finished Man of Steel and watched a few episodes of The Vampire Diaries. I stood up and stretched a little, and realised how thirsty I was after the pizza.
“Hey, you want a drink?”
“Nah I’m good babe, be quick or you’ll miss the good b- ooh, my boy Matty blue is on, be quiet!” Chrissy shooed me away as I laughed and made my way to the kitchenette. I grabbed a glass and was filling it with water when I suddenly heard my phone’s ringtone go off loudly, making me drop the glass which somehow didn’t smash. Bolting over to the couch, I grabbed my phone as Chrissy paused the movie.
“Hello?” I tried to sound as polite and friendly as possible, and like I hadn’t just ran to pick up the call.
“Miss Y/L/N? Hi, it’s Evans & Co. here. We’re calling about your interview this morning.” A pleasant female voice informed me from the other end. Chrissy stared at me expectantly as she took another bite of her pizza.
“Oh, hello! Thank you for contacting me.” I made sure to smile as I spoke- mom always said they can hear the smile in your voice.
“Well, we have good news- you got the job!” I gasped quietly and jumped up and down briefly before she began to speak again, “are you able to start on Monday at 9am?”
That gave me two days to get some new clothes for the office and celebrate.
“Yes, of course! Thank you so much for this, I’ll be there at 9am on the dot!” Grinning from ear to ear, I said goodbye and hung up the phone.
“You got it?!” Chrissy stood up, dropping her pizza slice in the process.
“Yes! I’m staring on Monday! This is amazing, we are DEFINITELY going shopping!” I exclaimed and hugged Chrissy, the two of us jumping up and down excitedly.
“Congrats! Oh my god, we have to go out and celebrate. It’s nearly,” she paused to check her phone, “4 o'clock now, why don’t we get ready to go for dinner somewhere?”
Briefly discussing where to eat, we agreed on a nice restaurant in the city, and ran off to get ready. We both take ages to get ready, so there was no rush.
We left the flat at 5, and managed to get a table at this restaurant which was rather busy tonight. Chrissy insisted on getting a glass of champagne each, so we both sipped our champagne while we ate.
That night when we got home, we were ever so slightly tipsy, but I had the best sleep ever.
———————————————-
Monday morning rolled in, and I woke to my alarm at 7am feeling somewhat refreshed having gone to bed early. I groggily dragged myself out of bed and showered, yawning as I got dressed in my new clothes I had bought on Saturday and dried my hair. Applying some makeup, I made sure I looked good enough for an office but not too glam. Subtle glam. Yeah, that’s totally it.
Slipping on my court heels, I scribbled a note for Chrissy and slapped it onto the kitchen counter before checking the time; 8:15. I grabbed my bag and shoved my phone in it, checked my appearance once again, and set off outside. The cab I had booked the day before was waiting for me at the side of the road, and I jumped in and gave the driver my destination. I arrived at the large company building at 8:50, thankfully I was on time. By the time I got to my floor, it was 8:55, and I stepped out of the elevator only to see the woman who had interviewed me.
“Ah, Y/N! My name is Lexie Hardwell, call me Lexie. I’m in charge of this floor, so I’ll give you a tour and then you can get to work!” Lexie beamed at me making me feel much more relaxed.
The tour of the floor didn’t take long, and I was soon sat at my very own desk. During the lunch break I managed to chat with my new coworkers, who were thankfully very nice. The day passed surprisingly quickly and I was loving the new job, which consisted of sorting paperwork and doing online work with a bunch of figures.
“So, how was your first day?” Lisa, my new coworker, was chatting to me as we left the office and made our way to the elevator.
“It was great! I really enjoyed it, I’m so glad I get on with you guys as well,” I smiled at her as we waited to reach the ground floor.
“Oh, just WAIT till you meet the boss. His name’s Chris Evans, he owns the company. He is so dreamy,” she pretended to fan herself as she chatted away. “He’s tall, handsome, and his voice alone could make your knees weak. Trust me.”
I chuckled and told her I hadn’t, but I was now very intrigued. Hopefully soon I’ll meet the almighty Chris Evans.
As we walked through the lobby, in the corner of my eye I saw a familiar figure quickly approaching from my left. I nearly choked on air as I turned my head to look at him, only to see the sex god I shared the elevator with on the day of the interview. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as he walked toward me like a freaking runway model and his eyes met mine, and he winked at me as he walked past me toward the lifts.
Lisa grabbed my arm and practically dragged me out of the building and the evening sun hit me as we stood by the entrance.
“Girl, did you see him?!” She whispered loudly, “isn’t he so hot?!”
“Um, hell yeah! I’d have to be blind not to see how good looking he was,” I breathed out and looked through the glass door into the lobby, remembering those crystal blue eyes. “Who is he?”
“He- who is he?! It’s him. That, honey, was Mr Evans- our boss.”

Heart on the Line (part 5)
Masterlist
You and Bucky had your differences in college, but now you need a place to stay and he needs a roommate, and in order to make ends meet, you two start a phone sex line together.
“For a Good Time, Call…” AU
author: sugardaddytonystark (formerly buckysbackpackbuckle) pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader word count: 1589
Then
You two kiss like that for a while, face to face on the couch, hands exploring each other’s bodies through your clothes. But then you start to get impatient, greedy for more. You tug on his shirt, pulling him on top of you as you roll on to your back. He uses his knees to part your legs, slotting his body snug between your thighs. It’s a tight fit with both of you spread out on the small couch, but it works and it feels good being so close, bodies pressed against each other.
Bucky kisses the corner of your mouth, holds your jaw with one of his hands and turns your face so that his lips can trail a path down the column of your throat. His mouth is hot and eager, moving with more passion than finesse.
“Did I tell you that I love seeing you in my clothes or was I just thinking it?” he asks, lips against your neck. You hum in response and he chuckles. “I was just thinking it, right?”
“Yeah…” you breathe out in response, a small laugh trailing at the end. “I guess you were.”
He slides a hand underneath the hoodie, warm palm against your bare skin. He touches your ribs feather-light, teases the underside of your breast with his fingertips.
“You were naked underneath this whole time?” he asks.
You nod your head and Bucky lifts up on his knees with a sigh. He slides the hoodie up, bunches it up beneath your chin, baring your breasts to him. He lets out a shuddering breath and softly runs his fingertips along the circumference of your tight nipples.
You arch your back and moan, pushing your breasts up into his hands. He kneads them in his palms, shakes his head like he can’t believe it. His hips jerk and you can feel his hard cock against your cunt, the long length of his shaft pressing against your clit.
Bucky smooths his hand down your waist, grabs on to the elastic of the sweatpants you’re wearing. You lift your hips to help him undress you and he takes the hint to slide the boxers off, his eyes taking in every inch of your legs as he undresses you.
“Fuck,” he groans as you spread your legs, draping one over the back of the couch and wrapping one around his hips.
He reaches between the two of you to touch your pussy, his fingertips finding you soaking wet. He strums your clit a few times then slowly sinks his thick finger inside.
“All this for me?” he asks, smirking.
“Mhhmm,” you moan, your own fingers fluttering up his forearm.
With your other hand you reach up to clutch him behind his neck. You pull him down on top of you, pressing your mouth against his. His kisses are no less electric than the first time, sending shockwaves through your entire body, making you vibrate with want.
Bucky slides his finger out of you and starts rubbing your clit, smearing your slick around the sensitive nub as you writhe beneath him. You two are a mess, awkward angles in cramped quarters, hands everywhere, lips everywhere. His fingers feel good, so fucking good, but you’re spoiled now, and you’re ready for his cock.
“Why aren’t you naked?” you whisper, your nose grazing the edge of his jaw.
“Why… oh!” he says. “I should be naked.”
Bucky practically jumps off of you, hands on his shirt to pull it off. It’s ungraceful but he manages, and no sooner does his shirt hit the ground that he’s sliding his sweatpants off too. He takes a few steps toward his nightstand and rummages through the drawer before pulling out a box of condoms that he has to rip open to get inside of.
You can see him over the back of the sofa from where you’re lying. His body is slender, but strong. Broad shoulders tapered down to a small waist. Long arms with just a hint of definition from the muscles below. His skin is pale and peppered with beauty marks, his hair even more wild than before from lying down.
He’s gorgeous and perfect and he’s taking way too damn long.
You take matters into your own hands and climb over the sofa and onto the bed. He turns as you crawl to him, hands and knees, and at this point you’re not even trying to be sexy, you’re just trying to get to him as quick as you can.
When you reach him you kiss his thigh, right below the hem of his boxers. You move up and up, lips placing kisses across the fabric of the underwear until you get to the place where his hard dick is straining against them.
You look up at Bucky’s wide-eyed face and give him a smile before pressing a lingering, open mouthed kiss to the tip of his cock.
“Oh fuck!” he moans. “Alright, come here.”
He guides you up to him with a hand on the back of your head and kisses you, wet and dirty and so so good, and then he puts a hand on the middle of the chest and gently pushes you to lay back on the pillows.
He slides his boxers down, his dick bobbing up against his stomach. You practically start drooling when you see it. It’s the most beautiful dick you’ve ever seen. It’s not too long but it’s so so thick, curved up slightly, and flushed a pretty pink at the tip.
Bucky gives that beautiful cock a few strokes as he tears a condom packet with his teeth. He pinches the tip of the condom, rolls it on his dick, and then he’s on the bed with you, sliding his body in between your thighs.
“Fuck, you have no idea…” he says as he lines his cock up with your wet and waiting pussy. He bends down and kisses you, kisses you, kisses you. You don’t think you can ever get tired of his lips, no matter how many times they’re on you.
“Show me, then.”
Now
“Up!”
“OW! What the fuck?”
Steve slaps your ass again. “Get up!” he says. “I found you a place to live.”
“Steeeve,” you whine, pulling the covers back over your head.
“Get up!” he yells, pulling the blanket off of you completely. “Get dressed! Wear something cute. A dress! I am sick of seeing your ass in yoga pants.”
You groan and sit up, grabbing the blanket back and wrapping it around yourself like a cocoon. You’re tired and a little bit hungover, mouth and eyes dry. Steve is bright and chipper, even after being out all night, and you kinda sorta hate him for it.
“OK then,” he says, walking over to the flimsy garment rack in the corner of the room. “I’ll pick an outfit for you.”
“No!” you whine. “You always make me look like a slut.”
“Slut-chic is my favorite look on you!” he says, spinning around with a dress in his hands, holding it up to himself.
“That is the shortest dress I own,” you say. “I wear it as a shirt with jeans.”
“Today, it’s a dress!”
You roll your eyes and fall sideways onto the couch, burying your face in the pillow. It’s too early for all this… you think. You really have no idea what time it is, but regardless, it’s too early. You don’t want to live in a new apartment. You want to go back to your old apartment and your old life.
“OK, honey, you’ve got to stop pouting,” Steve says, taking a seat next to you. He grabs your arms and pulls you back upright. “Look, I haven’t said anything before because I like to be a good friend and I don’t wanna be judgmental, but right now, I’m gonna drop a truth bomb on you, so I’m glad you’re sitting down.”
He places his palms on your cheeks and squeezes them, smooshing your face in his hands. He gives you a serious stare, his blue eyes piercing yours, then sighs.
“Brock is boring. Sorry, everyone talks about it, no one says it to you. He is boring. It’s a struggle to have a 20 second conversation with him. And you know what else? He always seems like he’s kinda looking for a better deal. I’m sorry.”
You gasp. “I’m a great deal!”
“Honey, oh my God, I know that. Of course you are. You’re my favorite! You’re the best deal in the world. But then why would he go all the way over to Italy without you, huh? He didn’t appreciate you. And he didn’t deserve you. Him breaking up with you is the best thing that he has ever done for you, I promise. Today is the start of your new awesome, wonderful life, OK?”
“OK,” you reply, nodding your head, even though you’re halfway tempted to lay down and go back to sleep. “Thank you, Stevie. I love you.”
“I love you more,” Steve says, then scribbles down something on a piece of paper. “And I want what’s best for you. That’s why I’m doing this. Remember that, ok? And meet me at this address in two hours. Wear that dress. Where are your pink pumps?”
“Remember that?” you repeat, watching him as he stands up from the couch. “Remember what? Steve why –“
“Ok, leaving now!” he says as he makes his way to the door.
“Steve!”
“BYE! ... WEAR THE PINK PUMPS!”
