Thank you to all GOBB artists (even that’s not included in the images) for inspiring and helping me to stay in Tumblr to give more content to the GOBB community! I’ve never been more happy as becoming a well-known artist is my dream since 4 years ago, and it’s starting to happen: more people are questioning and requesting, more notes and more love! I’ve always wanted to show my art to a large audience and hoped they enjoyed what I created and it’s all bcs of all of u!!! I love u all :)))

Welp I’m gonna be off from my vacation, the flight will only be 2hrs maxed and hope there wouldn’t be any delays beforehand lol

Kinda nice to end the vacation with this before I continue my goals of the big project

As for requests I’ll answer them shortly after I get back bcs my 4 pencils look like ants and I feel like doing it traditionally rather than digital so yes gotta wait)

I finished Skyward Sword and I LOVE IT! VERY MUCH!

beautiful beautiful game. I played it slowly and enjoyed every little bit of it ❤

The credits were beautiful, and the after-credits scene! 🥺 Oh my heart. I really love the Triforce wish scene. I hadn't realized that all this time, the goal was to avoid fighting. Going so far to find the full Triforce and wish for no war...

Zelda, Impa, Link, and Fi were all going out of their way fighting so that everyone else would not have to face the consequences of war, and that the innocents avoid suffering. It's so noble. Really makes me appreciate the whole story line of Skyward Sword.

The softness of the artstyle also reinforces this message. And how Link easily slips into a dream-like state, like when he listens to music. He wants to live in a happy, dreamy world. Another detail, is how mindful Link is of everything going on around him, even if he looks like his head is in the clouds xP (for example, at the start of every dungeon, we see a cutscene of him taking a moment to reflect before entering. He either stops to look at the darkness ahead or closes his eyes for a minute before starting the dungeon. I looovvee those cutscenes) I just love everything about it. This game makes me so happy!

 Aaaaand that's one more Zelda game completed!

Personally, this comic is so well written and I remember watching the clan generator challenge back in 2022 (the text one for people who read not clangen) and I found this in tumblr now and went...wait .....

Seriously though I love Pinepaw and Cormorantpaws relationship.. AND AFTER THIS WHOLE THINF I HOPE THEY BECOME WARRIORS WHAT THE FUCKITY. I REMEMBER SQUEALING AT ISSUE 26. ABSOLUTELY GOING FERAL.

I remember having a dream and they were there ☠️☠️☠️ And I think their names where Pinefeather (kinda close to Pinepaws hopes for Pinewing tbh) and then Cormorantpaw was Cormorantspot which. Okay. No sense whatsoever but okay ☠️

Anyway and I remember when Issue 39 hit I was like oh my god. Oh my god. Cause it was so JAKAIISISOSOOSJD

I've already been amazed by The Dog Star and I remembered you are the same author from artstyle snd. VOICECLAIMS on your channel that are absolutely phenomenal thugh Pinepaws voice made me giggle sm ☠️☠️

Why thank you so much! This series really has come a long way from that original video, hasn't it. I went a bit feral.

Here's a behind-the-scenes peek; I desperately wanted to make Pinepaw's warrior name "Pinefeather", but... he wouldn't want to be named like his abusive grandma Dustfeather. Even though it's such a cute name. She's ruining everything as usual.

Though it doesn't happen much anymore, I really enjoyed in the early days when people would recognize me as Razmerry from my artstyle. Twas fun. I'd like to make another PATFW voiceclaims video sometime, including updated voices for Pinepaw and Cootstorm, but I haven't settled on all my choices. I'll see if I can find the time.

Basically MK was reading Alice in wonderland out of curiosity and suddenly he saw Mei dressing up as the same white rabbit on the book. MK got confused and decided to follow Mei and he accidentally fall into the rabbut hole, going to Wonderland.

In other words, MK is dreaming he is in Wonderland and his friends are the characters in the book- 💕🏌️‍♂️

MK is Alice, of course

Mei is the White Rabbit

Sandy is the Blue Caterpillar

Monkey King is the mad hatter (as you can see in the drawing above)

Pigsy is the Hare Pig of March

Don't get me wrong I love Cedric in any artstyle but let's be real

The first one tastes like Disney, looks like it was made by the same people that worked on vintage Disney movies

The fact that he DOES looks like the finished version, but more Disney-like. Please don't get me wrong, I don't want to belittle the artists who made the illustrations for the books in any way, I love them, but it would have been great if Disney had stabilized an artstyle for the 2D arts of Sofia The First, and Cedric was like that. It's not those artists' fault because they did an amazing job, I just think it would be even better If Disney cared more about this (they dgaf about Disney Junior shows let's be real they are just focused on the movies)

It was in such a nice stylistic artstyle that looked nothing like mine it was mostly uncolored there were like pages dedicated to just Jupeter, Juno in the gold dress etc.

One was Nureyev and Juno sitting at a table in carte blanche and holding hands, Buddy was smiling on her seat looking at them. Other was them all dressed up Juno's back to us Nureyev hugging him, Juno's entire back was on display u could see scars and muscles.

what's please save my earth about? I keep seeing you talk abt it and I'm like 👀

"Please save my Earth" tells the story of a pack of highschoolers and a 7year old boy, who thanks to their connected dreams find out they have been living as alien researchers, studying and watching over the earth from their base on the moon in their past life. They have been reincarnated as humans and have to come to terms with the complicated relationships they had in their past lives.

And oh boy it gets interesting.

Note that the aliens I'm talking about are basically some sort of humans but upgraded. They just come from different planets apparently and have powers like communicating with plants or straight up ESP. And small spoiler but for some of them their powers activate again during the series when they're human.

The original manga by Saki Hiwatari was published in the 80s and 90s and the 6-episode OVA came out in 1995. You can watch it on YouTube although I wish I had access to a better quality of it. Personally I think the anime adaptation left some things kind of unsolved, there are implications to what happened but no deep dive into it, which is why I started reading the manga! Hopefully I'll find out more about what didn't make it on screen. So far I really like it, it's been a while since I've read shoujo, it has some humour in it and apparently it starts getting more serious and dark later on.

If you saw me posting about Jinpachi and Issei - they're kind of a subplot, the main character is Alice (Arisu) and Rin, the 7 year old menace. Their relationship is complicated and takes various turns.

Lastly for possible content warnings: there is an age gap relationship in please save my earth. It is also complicated but nothing too... shocking (??) for someone who isn't used to seeing stuff like that talked about in media. It's very tame if you ask me, you'd need to find out yourself orz

Anyways! I think I can recommend giving it a shot, it's really short but the artstyle of the anime is so ahh delicious, the characters feel so solid and shaped, I love that. And the animation is very nice as well!

Ngl it was kinda hard for me to think of something to draw this year bc i'm still REALLY proud of the valentine's drawing i made LAST year and i lowkey felt like i needed to sorta one-up myself in some way (some considered ideas were to either do what i did last year, but with my CRACKSHIPS instead, or do something with my OCs) but y'know....i've had the idea for a drawing like this for a while and i lowkey wanted to draw something with candy hearts in it so here's a simple lil naegiri for your troubles <3

So, I recently played Kirby's Star Stacker on NSO, and...

Well, I now understand why this version never released in North America (I want to send the screenshot soooooooo badly!) 😂

Ah, yes! Sorry about having media asks turned off! After some of the horror stories I've heard, I just didn't consider it worth the risk.

But yes!

I love this image so much! Actually, I love so much about the adorable little cutscenes in Star Stacker! Meta Knight without his mask (...and gloves! You can see his little orb hands!) doing his darndest to still look like a cool tough warrior as he stands on the tallest possible hill (not that tall) and says "We shall meet again!!"

Now, then I assume there were probably many factors involved in Star Stacker not coming over to the west. It was released quite late into the SNES's lifespan for one, a year before the console was discontinued in NA. And it was a "remake" of a game that may not even have sold all that well the first time...

I hate to say it (especially as someone who values story and characters in video games) but an added "story mode" was almost certainly not considered a "selling point" to make it worth anyone's investment. Unfortunately, video games were still sold on their edginess to the teenage boy market in those days and a pastel-themed block matching game isn't getting any backing...

Grr...

Sorry. Just remembering how many good games my generation missed out on for stupid reasons. Games that I consider the best the system had to offer: Live a Live... Secret Treasure of the Rudras... Trials of Mana... Tales of Phantasia...

Ahem...

BUT the fact that Kirby and friends canonically go drinking at a bar if you lose probably didn't win it any points on its localizability and would have almost certainly caught the eyes of the VERY fierce, VERY determined censors of those days!

Of course, the funny thing about this is the bottle Kine is drinking from actually reads "Ocean Water" and is NOT alcohol! NoA wouldn't even have had to censor it, just translate it and you're clear!

...Although I'm sure if they had, rumors would have persisted for years that in "the original" Kine was actually drinking booze!

Maybe it wouldn't have mattered though, because Coo certainly looks ready to hit the hard liquor lined up on that shelf. ^_-

Actually, looking closely at the image, all the triangle motifs, I wonder if this is some kind of Dedede-themed Bar & Karaoke establishment? Seems they didn't bother rebuilding it after Kirby's infamously destructive singing voice wrecked the place!

...Man, there is something so utterly charming about the SNES era of Kirby! Star Stacker plays right into DL3's watercolor pencil artstyle and I love it and miss it, on occasion.

Unpopular opinion, perhaps, but I hope that our next Kirby game is not a big expansive mainline title but another "full-bodied" spinoff. Not a contentless fluff spinoff, like Dream Buffet or the 15 minute mini-games of the 3DS entries but something a little more comfy and fun, like Epic Yarn or Rainbow Curse! Something where you can have a bunch of characters reunite to do something silly and ridiculous like play competitive puzzle-matching or bubble-wrap popping (...or Air-Riding...) and pretend like it is serious business(tm)!
