a/n: Ik this is shitty I've never written a fanfic before so I'll try doing different plots than basic ones like this (This isn't proof read so sorry for dumb mistakes lol)

You looked down at your buzzing phone. Is this why you always set 17 alarms? Because none of them could wake you up correctly? Either way you sighed deeply and flung your legs over the edge of the bed. The cold wood floor of your new apartment, the open window with a gentle breeze, everything about your new life was perfect. Except one thing. Every one of your friends, AND I MEAN EVERY ONE, had started getting into relationships, and here you were, in your apartment, alone. The only good part, was you had your options open. That was something only single people could do. Naturally. You sighed, got ready for work (which was one of the only things keeping you going at this point), and left your new apartment in a hurry. Sleeping through you alarms definitely didn't help with your time management.

You finally got to work. Your once clean and put together hair was now disheveled. At work you don't have many friends, but the ones you did have were the best you could ask for. As soon as you walked to your desk, your two coworkers and best friends decided to talk to you. "Hey Y/N do you have a date to the wedding?" One of them says. You look up at them, "No I don't why do you ask?" Your other friend answers, "We were just curious cause the wedding is next week. We wanted to know if you were coming single."

The two of them sit down on the opposite side of you. You can't say no. They're both too sweet. But what you really don't understand is why they would assume that you're gonna show up single. It almost made you annoyed. "No. I'm not coming alone." you say, making both of them look at each other. "Then who are you bringing?"

You shrug, "I'm bringing my boyfriend. You've both met him before."

You can't believe yourself right now. You lied about having a boyfriend. You didn't even know that there was going to be a wedding. You think about retorting your lie, but you don't think that you can because they were way too excited. "I knew it! I told you she would have someone."

The blonde girl, Winter, says to the black haired boy, Huening Kai, Hyuka for short. "Yeah yeah. I'm just surprised that she hasn't told us anything about him yet." Winter puts her hand on your shoulder, "I can't wait to see the guy you bring. If hes not hot I'm kicking him out." "I want to meet him." Hyuka says as he stands up. You nod.

"Why did I do that.." You say to your self as soon as you leave work. They're probably not even going to believe you once they meet your 'boyfriend'. You don't know how but I have to come up with someone or something. Then literally just as you're thinking that, you crash into something tall and hard.

"What the hell..?" You say as you back up and look at the man you just bumped into. Is this a romcom? How is he so handsome? And how did you just happen to bump into him right now..

You pray to whatever god gave you this chance in your head.

"Watch where you're going." He says coldly. Maybe you weren't so lucky. He was a bitch. A brat. But you played it off. It didn't really matter how he acted. That wasn't important. You try your best to put on a nice face. "Oh no! I'm sorry. Are you okay?" You ask him. He steps back, dusting off his clothes. "I'm fine. But watch where you're going." "I'm so so sorry." You say, reaching out your hand to brush off his jacket. He looks at my hand, then back at me. "No, it's fine. Just watch out next time."

You nod and look him up and down. He's very attractive. You could definitely take him to the wedding. But what if he already has a girlfriend? There's so much to consider. "Um, are you still here?" He says, making you snap back from your thought. "Oh yeah. Sorry. I was just thinking." you reply, careful not to break your composure.

"So uh.. Would you mind giving me your number so we can keep in touch? I mean if you're okay with it." You say. Seriously? How fucking corny was that. He looks at me.

"Why would you want my number?" "Well because you're cute and I'd like to get to know you better." "Really?" He laughs but clearly is flustered. A slightly smile

"So would you be willing to give me your number?" "Yeah sure." He takes his phone out and types something on it. He hands it to you, "There you go." You add the number reading the name " Kang Taehyun" on his screen. You completely forgot to ask for his name before. You walk away and to head home. Was this a dream or real life. You can't believe you just asked someone for their number. If you didn't already tell Winter and Hyuka that you had a boyfriend you would have totally been bragging to them about this.

As you walk, you realize that you're both heading in the same direction. Is he stalking you or is it just a coincidence? Maybe getting his number really did raise your confidence a little but too much.

"Are you stalking me or something?" you say, laughing.

He turns his head, "No, I'm not. I'm just going to the same place as you. But thanks for the offer." You scoff. "I own the bakery down here."

You're slightly taken aback by the fact that HES a baker. You would have thought he was a personal trainer, a model, something like that. "Lets walk together then." You pull him by his arm to be closer to you. He doesn't move away. You get to the bakery's front steps, pausing before he invites you in awkwardly. "We're closed right now but I need someone to test some of our new recipes anyways. This was your chance. You could possibly make him fall for you so you could take him to the wedding. So you take the chance to ask him if he's in a relationship. "I'm guessing you don't have a girlfriend..?"

"No. Not at the moment."

"A handsome guy like you should have a girlfriend. Or a boyfriend. Whatever you're into." You sit at the bar of the bakery crossing you arms while leaning on the cold table top. He has basically no reaction. Is this guy celibate or just extremely experienced to the point nothing effects him. "Thanks, but I'm not interested in dating anyone at the moment." You ask "Why not? You look to be around that age." "Because I don't want to. I'm only 22." He answers while sorting through the different options of baked goods. You hesitate. You want to act how you usually would around guys, but thinking back on your past experiences maybe that wasn't such a good idea.

"Why? No guy wants to be single."

He looks confused by what you meant. "So you've never gotten to third base in other words. I could tell by how many times you've checked me out." You threw the entire friendly girl act out the window, even though he invited you into his bakery out of his own 'kindness' after hours. "I- No I didn't.. Im just.." He says stopping his movement, tensing up while dodging your eyes, moving them to various objects around the shop.

"Give me a break. You're too obvious. At least try to be conspicuous about it." You run your fingers through your hair while teasing him. The dimly lit bakery almost seemed to help push the mood in the direction you were hoping for. You're enjoying this. Usually the guys you talked to before would start getting defensive and concerningly aggressive if you spoke to them this way. But he almost seemed to like the way you were talking down to him. "Take off your apron." You meant it to sound like a request but it ended up sounding like a full on demand.

He stayed silent and surprisingly complied. You raised an eyebrow. Did you misread him for a virgin? He gave in too easily. Either way, it didn't matter. Bringing him to the wedding wasn't your goal anymore. He slid off his apron, and you burst out in a laughter.

"I knew you were a pervert. You really are a virgin. This is too funny." You stood up and walked around the counter.

Hey! This IF was sitting in my "to read" list for so long, and I finally got to it, and now I'm conflicted between being frustrated at not having done so sooner cause it's awesome, and being glad I didn't because that means I had a lot of content to go through at once, which is always nice.

Regardless, it was such an amazing read - I really like how you write relationships, not only with the ROs, but also with family and friends, which often tend to take the backseat in stories. I love MC's fathers so much, it's crazy!

Now, I have a few questions and hopefully it won't be too much for a single ask - if it is, feel free to just ignore some. Oh and if some were answered already, could you direct me to the answers? I have trouble with tumblr search as usual!

When the moment of the mark reveal happened in the game, I immediately assumed it was an important choice and the fact it seems depending on the mark we picked the god who cursed the MC / their bloodline changes only confirms it. But I was wondering if you'd be willing to share just HOW important that choice is in the game? I mean, will it only affect flavor text ultimately? Will it genuinely create a split and affect what MC has to do to get rid of the curse? Something else entirely? Of course I know actual details would be spoilery, so really I'd just love to know to scope of how this changes the story!

My MC has purple eyes, and it is said that purple eyes are only possible in case of magic being present in the family (even mentionned that it's likely there is godly blood somewhere in there). Will that be relevant in any way to the story? Again, not asking for details in regards to how or anything!

Similar type of question to the previous one, but "less important"... Will our mount choice affect the story much? I love my MC's mule dearly and I'm curious just how much the chosen mount will change stuff later down the line.

If the MC has grey hair - especially fully grey - will it be brought up much (or at all) by the ROs later down the line, especially in more romantic context? I'm curious if it will come up since I'm wondering what do they think about it and if they like it (and if their feelings vary depending on if MC likes it like mine does or not).

A bit of a reaction ask here, the chosen RO for my playthrough is Oswin, and I'm curious about something. My MC is a healer, and so I assume it's sort of expected that if he gets truly better he'll end up working alongside Lakota and his wife (it has been alluded to, even). But I'm curious how would both Oswin's and MC's families reacts if MC instead expressed the will to actually accompany Oswin on his tasks (cause you know, being a healer and all, he could take care of any injuries and what not). Of course, I'd also love to know what would Oswin himself think of it and how hard (or easy?) would it be to persuade him to agree to begin with!

While I'm at it, if the MC had a crush on Oswin for a long time now, just how aware of the fact are both families? Assuming it's the "shy flirt" type options, when it comes to how it presents itself.

I really hope it's not too much! I'm really curious about the dynamics here! I actually hate the "childhood friend" love interest archetype normally, but that gets flipped around entirely when it's "estranged childhood friend", which is one of my favorite romance archetypes, especially when they are estranged not because they were torn apart by other people or circumstances, but because there was a falling out or one of them actively distanced themself or something like that. Because of that, Oswin really fits that niche perfectly, and that combined with the delightful family relationships just makes me a bit feral.

For your question concerning the mark, I have some info posted here:

The choice isn't going to be earth-shattering or route-diverging or anything like that in the sense that it doesn't change the core choices the MC will need to make later. I think it's more than flavor text, but at the same time not, which isn't helpful but I can't give it away just yet, lol.

The MC's bloodline will be coming up as well, but the selection of purple eyes will not change their heritage. Purple eyes were one of the more obvious changes that magic humans encountered after prolonged influence from gods, but not every magic person has them. The gods and demigods were known to have pretty normal eye colors too. It was mainly a color that stood out from the rest and people just came to associate it with magic, especially since in the current year, it is very rare to see. Some people believe something similar about blue eyes as well - just depends on who you're talking to.

As for the mount, there are some elements about them that may change a thing or two, but we're not talking significant ones. There's a balance to each one as far as their temperament goes, and there may be a couple occurrences on the MC's journey that are changed by the strength or weakness of the mount. So, your MC might escape a situation easier with one mount or have a harder time with another - but still escape. You get me? Mule probably has more unique moments than the other mounts, but I'm trying to add some special flavor for each of them.

I also plan to have the grey hair factor come up in certain conversations, especially about the MC's feelings on it when talking to an RO. You may encounter a passerby that will comment on it as well, but that is likely to happen for other reasons too. Duri will bring it up regardless, because they'll match MC! That reminds me, I need to fix the programming for that, lol. The way I have it set now will make it impossible to reference the MC's original color. Derp.

If your healer MC decides to journey with Oswin in his work, the families would be supportive. It would make them feel a bit better knowing that MC and Oswin had each other's backs. A romanced Oswin will be pretty easy to convince, and will make travels a lot more appealing for him. Lakota and Willow will be a little sad to see their business partner go, but at the same time, they're gonna be happy. Lakota especially since his brother and best friend will have found peace.

I would say that if the MC has been harboring feelings for Oswin for a while, their da is definitely going to have figured it out as will Oswin's mother, Betony. They're sharp. Not that Kavi and Papa are dull, they just wouldn't be as attentive to those subtle romantic cues (though their lovely spouses will have pointed it out at some point).

I love that you are feral for Oswin, lol. I hope your tenacity for him only grows in the coming chapters as he and your MC duke out their feelings.

Regarding Cédric and Ga-in! In a way, what happens between them is somewhat similar to a Covenant/Holy Contract (as translated by EN Webtoon) like what we've seen between pairings like Frédérique and Aurélie, as well as with Marielle and Antoinette. To recap, when individuals enter a Holy Contract, they swear to join their souls together, and as such the Priest and Patron Saint in such a relationship can no longer share their ether with someone who isn't the Master of their Covenant. Their Vessels/Plates(or "Bowls", via EN Webtoon) also become shared, so the ether between the individuals also becomes shared. Oh and despite the restrictions of the Contract, the Priest can still open healing circles, but other than that, the only person who can benefit from the replenishing of their ether is their partner.

SO!! How does this compare to Cédric and Ga-in?

What Ced and Ga-in have is definitely similar to a Holy Contract, but without any of the "official" formalities that come with it. They don't swear before God and they are both Holy Knights too, so there aren't any ether-exchange restrictions like what would happen between a Priest and Holy Knight, but what IS similar is that they share parts of their Plates together. The power of water from Ga-in's Plate was what ultimately helped seal the cracks in Cédric's Plate, and part of Cédric's in Ga-in is what helped regulate her eventual ether Runaway. Because of this fusion and contact, they essentially become soul mates (literally). They can feel each other's strong emotions through their bond, much like Holy Contract partners can, and have a somewhat tele/empathetic liaison between them—but they aren't solely dependent on each other, unlike how it would have been between a Priest and Holy Knight.

As to where Yeseo comes into all this, since both Cédric and Ga-in are both Holy Knights, they will still require ether like any other Holy Knight—the fusing of their Plates merely helped regulate the respective troubles they were going through, and doesn't necessarily resolve the innate yearning nature and life requirement of ether (though, Cédric is able to survive purely by relying on his divine item the Sword of Mars + a huge amount of stubbornness. Unlike Ga-in, Cédric does not allow any unfamiliar Priest to attend to him... He's Loyal hahaha). So if Yeseo were to form a Holy Contract with Cédric, it would definitely work in Ced's favour (since Yeseo was the only ever option in the first place), but there's ALSO a chance that this Contract would extend to Ga-in, as well. It's hard to say, as the Contract hasn't actually been formalized in the main story, but since Cédric and Ga-in have a link through their Plates, Cédric and Yeseo joining theirs together might possibly affect/extend to Ga-in in some way. But who's to say! We might have to wait for the side stories if ever Sookym wishes to elaborate on this, though the main story imo already gives us plenty to go off on about how such a relationship might turn out. (But personally), I very much wish for the triple soul bond to be the case. And again, as the future Emperor, Cédric is going to have to pick a Religious Companion as per tradition, and the man himself has firmly affirmed that there is no other option other than Yeseo (the man would rather go on a hunger strike than pick someone else LMAO). Sir Johann in this case would then have to rely on other priests for ether, but I am certain his kind and talented future daughter-in-law Eva can help in the meantime! He'll also be much more kinder to Priest Sand this time around too xDD (unless he wants to incur the wrath of Yeseo again tsk tsk, you silver fox...)

Oh and as for Cédric being less crazy about Yeseo's ether—that's partly due to his own character development haha! Though I wouldn't say he's any less crazy, it more so that he becomes more assured/less desperate about it. As both he and Christelle grow closer to Yeseo, they eventually also learn to be more respectful of when and how to request ether from him. Cédric in particular doesn't forcefully siphon Yeseo anymore wkdhjdkd, and Yeseo, too, naturally becomes attuned to the needs of his Holy Knight friends and even provides ether without them having to ask. It's practically instinct at some point xD

AND OIUGGHHDHHHHHH. HERE IT IS!! THE BIG SHIPPING QUESTION.

I am, through and through, a CedYesChris shipper 🛐 I'm not sure if I have a favourite duo dynamic within them because... well. The three of them together is just better! After all, why have a duo when you can have a trio? They complement each other to perfection, as individuals who are friends AND as religious/political figures and partners, too. After reading the entire novel, it's impossible for me to imagine them without the entirety of CYC together. Though I will admit, I do tend to focus on making more CedYes-centric art/fics (since that's the most popular and understandable/accessible ship for early-TWSB readers, and was also my first ship too haha), but ChrisCed—different dynamic than CeChri, but I also enjoy that too—has actually (suprisingly)(or maybe not so surprising, I suppose) very unironically become a favourite of mine 😂 It first started as a joke/dysfunctional crack ship because of Yeseo's delulu shipping lenses, but truthfully, the more you read and understand the novel and their relationship progression (especially in relation towards Yeseo) the more you realize that these two actually work SO well together, and are very interested in each other, too, even though they fight a lot. (Also, fun fact, Cédric and Ga-in are both really intrigued by the other's ether. Had they the choice, they actually would have picked the other's ether attribute which is rlly interesting to me). It's easy to understand how they might have been the original main couple in a RoFan story.

But anyhow, Yeseo was actually right about shipping them even after being affected by his transmigration interference, just...... not in the way he initially sees it LMAOOO.

ChriCed are not the sweet and soft type partners. They're the type of partners who challenge each other and would not hesitate to fight or oppose when the other is wrong, and though it might seem aggressive and even hateful, this all comes from a place of deep understanding, and mutual trust and respect. Hypothetically, if they were to kiss, they would probably(absolutely) be aggressive and competitive about it LMAO. (WHICH IS WHY THEY WORK BEST WHEN IN A TRIO WITH YESEO! Yeseo is someone who is incredibly precious to both Cédric and Ga-in. The idea of hurting him is just too much, and as Holy Knights who share Plates, ChriCed would share the desire of wanting to treat him preciously, and as a Priest, Yeseo also wouldn't be able to handle the full brunt of the aggression of Holy Knights anyway. Therefore, ChriCed, as individuals who would understand their respective instincts, who be able to redirect their more aggressive desires on each other. It's a trio with a convenient balance hahahahajsjhhfjkd)

But anyway, outside of CYC, I am also fan of LosYes, especially because og!Jesse's sly and charming personality goes well with the devotion and adoration he has for Yeseo. I'm also a BIGGGGGGG enjoyer of JibYes. A small part of me thinks I might actually like JibYes more than CedYes LMAO. Sorry Cédric...... your 2nd cousin just has such an entertaining cat-and-dog/nice-guy-who-hates-only-me relationship with Yeseo. It's so Class Delinquent x Model Student.... They're so fun together and Yeseo's wittiness, stubbornness, and more aggressive side truly shines when he's with Jibril. I like seeing the gentle and caring Jung Yeseo who cares deeply about others get feisty and riled up by a troublemaking(but honourable deep down) guy like Jibril. And simultaneously, Jibril Diop, this loutish playboy of a guy, somehow becomes subdued and helpless to Yeseo's whims and charms. THEYRE SO GODDAMN CUTE HGGHNNNGGHH..... Truly a well-crafted relationship progression that starts with animosity before shifting into respect and admiration 🥹 It's a shame tho, because a lot of the newer readers don't know him since he only actively becomes part of the main cast somewhere around/past the mid-300s, BUT HES TRULY THE BEST 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 CYC is still the biggest in my heart tho, but JibYes is a very very very close second hahaha. I wrote a 36.7k one-shot fic because of these two. That's how deep in the JibYes sauce I am. I work on so many 🫠 (melting face emoji)

But honestly, a combo of both! I always have a massive list of WIPs (think: upwards of 30 at a time), because I start projects and then have difficulty finishing them. I typically have around 5 fics on rotation that I am actively working on at a time.

However, I do finish things best when I buckle down and like, dedicate a week or two or whatever to finishing a single thing. So typically when something is getting towards being done, that's what'll happen, and then I'll go back to slowly picking away at many things.

21) Can you accurately predict how long your fics are going to be? If you can, what's your secret?

23) Dialogue or description? Why is the other one so hard?

I love writing dialogue SO much more hahaha! Honestly part of description for me is that it takes a lot more cognitive work - especially if it's setting/space and place type stuff. I can picture and think about how bodies move in my head pretty easily, but I find it really hard to do with places!!!

Dialogue, on the other hand, just comes naturally (most of the time). I think I could 1000% write a fic that was entirely dialogue, I just won't because it's not what I find fun to read.

30) Describe a fic that almost happened, but then it didn't.

God. I mean I have many, many abandoned or half-abandoned fics - more for UnDeadwood than OFMD, but definitely in both. (Ranging from anywhere from a couple thousand words to one that is 90K and long abandoned [someday I'll give in and just publish shit as is])

A big one though was an UnDeadwood Watership Down AU - in which everyone (main 5 cast members, at least) were shifters, and Clayton's shifted form was a rabbit. It was Clayton POV, and laced with all sorts of the Watership Down rabbit religion etc. I think I had like 3-4K written for it.

Oh my god I also had a Ladyhawke AU??? For UnDeadwood?? That was devastating and very fun to write and never got finished - it also had somewhere around 5K written for it.

UnDeadwood - I think it's a toss up between the jaws that bite, the claws that catch (snake creature Matthew, smutty Matty/Clayton(/Aly) in which Matthew has two dicks. That's it that's the fic. It is unfinished.)

The other UDW option is i found love where it wasn't supposed to be, written with @lovewithagirl, which features a whole lot of ghost sex (as in, sex between an alive person and a ghost)

I have a lot of different AU's for OFMD, but I think they feel a little more "normal" in comparison - they're more stuff like the Remington Steele AU or the Die Hard fic. The wildest is probably Ask Me Anything, written with @yerbamansa, which is a TealOranges Tumblr SMAU in which there is timey-wimey bullshit. Or maybe the Plumbing the Depths series, which is the Jim/Olu/literal kraken! Ed series, mainly for the rarepair.

1. well I've always thought of Jonathan as being quite a lot more physically strong than Jonah, so he definitely could kill him. I imagine it would be in a fit of that mix of rage and passion and fear and general morbidness that characterized the later part of their relationship. probably an accident too, and he'd feel equal parts like a hero for erasing an evil like that from the world and like absolute shit bc, well, he just killed the only person who understood him. he just killed his Jonah.

and as per Jonah, I don't think he could do it himself (even poisoning him or shit like that, it's just not his thing. I reckon he'd feel kinda meh about getting his hands dirty back then and he knows there are better things he could do). what he could do, and what he did in my interpretation of their relationship, is drive him to suicide. like just manipulating him and generally fucking him up emotionally and psicologically that he just kills himself yk. also in my brain it was a very gorey death, I might write something about that. of course, Jonah feels terrible about it too, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do yk.

2. cannibalism as a metaphor for love is so them. both. idk what it'd take for Jonah to do something like that but he's definitely not above it. I think a big part of his feelings for Jonathan in their later years together is the desire to metaphorically swallow Jonathan whole, which might translate to something literal. I'm not sure why or how, but he definitely could do it.

and Jonathan- well of course he could. I get the vibe that that desire to metaphorically devour the other was mutual, and along with his general Feelings by that point (the love, the rage, the constant panic, the distrust, the morbid curiosity) who knows what he could have done.

3. Jonathan. definitely. Jonah was not letting Jonathan outlive him, and I always thought the whole bodyhopping ordeal came as a surprise to him. so yeah he would've taken good care of Jonathan before anything.

although now that I think of it, the other option is also fun. Jonathan catching wind of the stuff going on both at the Institute and ar Millbank and being like "wtf are you doing now" but not wanting to give in to curiosity (and the need to see Jonah of course). Jonathan finding out about Jonah's 'death'!!!!!! he wouldn't know how to feel lmao.

4. hmmm I always thought they might have met at some sort of conference (those did happen back then didn't they) or symposium about some really morbid, really understudied branch of medicine (yk those that would piss off the church). Jonah did that thing where he starts asking the weirdest fucking questions like one asks about the weather and Jonathan was immediately like "he's so clever and interesting and curious and unashamed I need to talk to him" and they just hit it off

my second idea for a meetup is back in their university days. Jonah didn't study medicine (I have my own headcanon on that) but I think the general social scene was pretty open. maybe Jonah was out for drinks with some friends and saw Jonathan sulking in a corner and thought "interesting specimen, need to investigate"

a third idea I had was one of Smirke's little gatherings, but I wanted to see if I could come up with something new lol

5. yep. and much, much more. I imagine Jonathan was very reluctant at first, but by the time they first kissed the tension was unbearable and Jonah was already, well, a whore, so they were fine in the end (no they weren't).

6. wonderful question. I believe it's a mix of both. like their deranged passion has a bit of helpless softness mixed in, and back when they could be soft (before their entire relationship went to shit) even that softness held a passion that made it impossible to think straight.

7. oh that's a good one. for starters, it would be so fucking funny. like "what are you doing here" "what are YOU doing ALIVE. and how did you get there"

at first Jonathan would be absolutely outraged and disgusted by everything Jonah's done, but then, of course, he'd get curious. in my brain Jonathan was one of the first Flesh avatars, back when they were discussing whether the Flesh was real or not, so I think he'd have fun with that. and he was always big on the modification of the body from what it's born as to what you want it to be (Dr. Fanshawe said trans rights) so when he found out Jonah'd been straight up switching them around he'd be equal parts enraged and thrilled. can you imagine his reaction at how much medicine has progressed in the last 2 centuries? bby would be fucking elated.

Jonathan reading about modern medicine and being all euphoric while Jonah just watches him with heart eyes the entire time.

and it might get Jonathan far more into the Fears, especially into the Flesh. maybe he ends up like a different version of the Boneturner or something (and then monsterfucker Jonah kicks in and well, the rest is history yk).

i Am doing a full loop to get the odile thing though... and in doing so i realized apparently i didn't go through the friend quests manually enough times, sif just had a bit of a mental breakdown abt odile's. which does lead up to the last-loop breakdown better!

i'm not actually quite sure what info gets carried over from the previous loop when you loop back to the same floor instead of the beginning or forwards? i'm just gonna try and do floor 3 again and see if it works....

OH!!! that's a great question and while i love laura lee so so much i'm probably not the best person to answer hsgjdfhgfh i was just lightheartedly raised catholic and i'm very unserious about religion lol so when it comes to very serious takes and technicalities, i'm a little lost. apparently all things point to her being something other than catholic. but i still hc her as catholic for personal fun <3 so this isn't a very serious answer but!! generally speaking...

because i love to consider many options. there's a chance she would become Worse <3 and that could be a) oohh the guilt! the insane amount of guilt that girl would carry!! it could sent her stright to a convent fr. losing her mind and dedicating the rest of her like to god to maybe remotely make up for her sins...

or b) never let go of the wilderness faith. much worse than lottie. much worse than anything the show's shown. i'm talking altars, ceremonies, sacrifices, a little casual cannibalism why not. still worships lottie in a way not even lottie wants

BUT!! what if she leaned on the opposite side. she came out of the experience changed, obviously. so... Option A: my girl is a full on atheist now. if god was real he wouldn't have let them do that. if god was real then what was IT in the wilderness. can she deny them both? for how long?

and Option B: this could be the most boring (affectionately) but also the most realistic option. after much soul-searching, existential crises, desperate praying, stages where she experiences all the other options... she comes to a middle ground. she sticks to her faith, her belief in god, but in her own terms. she probably parts ways with her old church, but she probably finds one she feels accepted in somewhere else. like most of the yj survivors she's probably in denial of a lot of what happened in the wilderness and calls it a test from god. she probably works helping other people struggling with their faith but in an actually healthy way. totally a lesbian working on creating spaces for religious queer people or something like that. i mentioned in one fic that she goes to college to study to theology and become a professor and works studying faith and religions trying to make sense of what happened to them....

Are there any major changes to canon you think you'll make in the sunshine au, other than the obvious? I've seen you talk about things you didn't like about wizards, and was curious if that meant you were gonna tweak it for the sake of the au

Oh I am definitely going to be doing a lot of tweaking to canon for the sunshine au.

As people have probably guessed already, Mary and Darci will be included in team Trollhunters from day one, and Barbara will be in the know from the start as well. Another major thing is that Douxie will join the main cast during the equivalent of TH season 3 and will be heavily involved in the battle of the eternal night. How the TH crew gets introduced to the Tarron siblings will also happen a little bit differently (Steve finds himself sworn to secrecy by two different groups and is very conflicted before he convinces them to talk to each other).

Then we get to the things I'm changing for salt related reasons...

First off the slaughter of the Janus order won't be just a thing that happens and is immediately forgotten about. The same with changelings in general; the beginnings of gradual acceptance of changelings into mainstream troll society is going to become a big plot point.

For the most part 3Below season 1 will be untouched, but for season 2 I'm planning on unkinking a lot of the major inconsistencies that were introduced (Krel needed to scavenge technology for weeks to build a Daxial array but can MacGyver together a wormhole generator with spare parts? No way. Kubritz's motivations changing on a whim based on what the plot demands? Fuck that.)

Speaking of inconsistencies, while the basic plot for Wizards will stay the same, the gang going back in time to Camelot and to make sure the battle of Kilahead goes as planned, I'm going to tweak events to actually keep a consistent continuity between the events of TH and Wizards. For starters, Merlin gave the amulet to the trolls several thousand years earlier, meaning Deya wasn't the first, and their trip back in time will be foreshadowed and built up for a long time leading up to it. Also Jim's transformation won't be undone, he'll remain a shifting halftroll permanently.

And for RotT I'm going to do what I'm doing to Wizards time a thousand. The Arcane order will actually be built up and foreshadowed as antagonists, that god-awful Steve mp//reg plot will not happen, all the characters and their individual arcs will line up with their journey to this point (no BS "Am I still the Trollhunter without the amulet") and when I say characters I mean characters, plural. Jim is a hero but he's not the hero, they're a team and each character will be given equivalent attention.

And most importantly there will be no time travel retcon ending. One of the major themes running through this series is that the world is rarely broken down into black and white options, we just have to choose the choices who's consequences we're able to live with. And I'm f*****g sticking to that. The group's victory will be hard won and bittersweet, not without sacrifice, but in the end they'll create a better world for both the mundane and the magical.

Sorry if I sound so salty I love Tales of Arcadia but it has some deep flaws especially with that dumpster fire movie.

Divine Intervention Part Four- Difficult Choices

A/N: I'm so sorry this took me so long to post. Motivation escaped me for a while. However, I am finally able to give this update! I hope its liked

Summary: All Might got lucky this time. You were a little more focused on Hagakure not having a proper costume. In other words, you skip class to meet up with the support teacher with Hagakure.

All Might tried and failed to avoid you. It was unfortunate that you'd dropped that bomb on him just before his first time teaching foundational hero studies. Something you knew Izuku was excited for (although neither of you knew it was All Might that was teaching the class until he arrived like "a normal person"). He was giving off the strongest awkward vibes before just sending you all to change into the hero costumes that were made from your specifications. It was the first time you'd fully undressed in front of anyone here. 

"Oh my god Tengen! Your back!" Yaoyorozu exclaimed. You turned to face her after fully putting on a new undershirt for your outfit. It wasn't your demon slayer uniform but you modeled it after Uzuis, and since you had an option to add the extra layer you'd take it. Especially since they didn't use the same type of fabric you were used to for the uniforms.

"Ah, yeah. That." You responded half-heartedly. It'd been there ever since you were young, before even being taken in by the Tengen family. It made you feel bad at the worry in all the girls eyes. "It's been healed for years. Just looks bad." You explained, feeling awkward.

"If you're sure, Tengen… it just looks painful." 

You never really looked at the damage on your back, given that it was difficult and that you… you didn't want to acknowledge that it occurred too much. Especially when you didn't remember anything fully. It made you want to think more about it. To find out. But more important things are happening. 

"I promise it's alright Yaoyorozu. Thank you for your concern." You said turning back to the other girls, a hopefully pleasant smile on your face. It didn't erase their concern. You focused on Uraraka's hero costume, a curious and exciter gleam coming to your eyes. (Izuku's excitement on quirks rubbed off on you after all, especially with people you knew were kind). "Waaaa, Uraraka! Your hero outfit looks so good on you!" A genuine sound of appreciation coming through your voice. "I'm assuming that it's supposed to make sure things don't get-" Your eyes wandered behind her. Focusing in on the gloves floating and boots just in place. Like someone was wearing them. "Hagakure? Where's your Hero outfit?" The girls turned towards the invisible girl.

"Oh! I'm wearing it already!" She happily exclaimed. But you eyes narrowed at her. You quickly moved towards her, hands reaching out to touch her. You felt bear skin under your fingers. Your eyes narrowed. 

"Yaoyorozu. Please let All Might know that Hagakure and I will be late." Your tone left no room for argument. The girls shuffled out the room. You took off the long cape you had and wrapped it around Hagakure. "I'm very sorry if I'm assuming Hagakure. But I don't think being practically naked is a proper hero outfit." 

"They can't really do anything about that though! It's okay! You can't make invisible material!" She exclaimed. 

"This is unfair to you though. Forcing a young woman to run around, naked, with no proper material to protect you from the elements? That's not right! You deserve to feel comfortable and secure in what you will be using as a hero. It's bullshit they think they can skimp out on it." You said. Somehow you were looking right into her eyes. Something no one had really done before. "Its shitty work and they think because you're young you won't bring it up. It's disgraceful." You spat out the word. It… it felt warmer. Like she was being enveloped in a warm hug, was it just your cape? You both began walking, out of the locker room and straight to the support department. Neither of you saw a single teacher, or maybe because you looked as if you were on a rampage no one came to tell you both to go back to class. 

You reached for the doorknob before suddenly grabbing her and throwing yourself away, shielding her from the resounding boom and the rubble of the destroyed door. Your instincts were insane. 

"Hatsume! Tone it down!"

"No promises!" A loud cackling voice yelled out. 

"Students! Hero students. Already?" The teacher sounded confused. And to be fair, it was the first day your class was officially wearing your Hero costumes, already having complaints was pretty weird, but-

"Her hero outfit is unsafe. And frankly an insult. I understand that it's difficult to create something that can help her blend in, but it's insulting to make a student run around practically naked." You said quickly pointing out her gloves and shoes. She felt her face heat up a little, you couldn't just say that!

"That's a pretty serious accusation. And I'm willing to listen, kid. So please, come in and we can discuss this." Another boom sounded within the classroom. Much smaller this time. He sighed. "I'm the teacher for the support course. Powerloader." He said. You gently led Hagakure into the room, a hand at her back, making sure that just in case another explosion happened she could be safe from it. It was like you could see her. She felt your face near her ear. 

"Ah, sorry for just taking over like that. It just pisses me off seeing someone have to suffer from another's inability to make the proper clothing." You whispered. You sounded genuinely apologetic about it. You probably thought she was embarrassed with you taking over but-

"Its fine Tengen, I'm… actually really grateful. I don't think I would've done this at all…" She whispered back. And she probably wouldn't have. Maybe she would've even gotten frostbite from Todoroki's quirk or something. Stepped on a nail because she had to take off her boots. It was the first time she didn't feel like she had to be loud in order to be seen. It seemed like you just intuitively searched for her. You gave her a genuine smile. And it honestly made her heart skip a beat, as she clutched the fabric of your cape. 

It took the entire class period to talk with Powerloader about her hero costume. And you both missed All Mights class. Hagakure couldn't really find it in her to care though. Yeah it sucked to miss a class taught by the number one hero, but… someone actually saw her for once. And she didn't have to be loud for it.

You didn't regret missing the class. Much. That student who blew up the classroom several times heard about the difficulty of creating a material that would help someone invisible stay invisible and very aggressively ask to take on the challenge of making Hagakure's hero costume. She seemed unhinged, but the very few aged spirits following her looked at her fondly. Even saying that she would replicate a quirk if needed in a support item that made you give the final push for both Hagakure and Powerloader to accept Hatsumes aggressive pestering.

But you were worried about Izuku and his fight with Bakugou after you found out about it. It left your brother essentially incapacitated for the rest of the school day. And then when you were out of the classroom, he'd finally gotten back but just ran outside after Bakugou who put him in the infirmary!

But at the end of the day you both just went home, did whatever you needed to do. And as Izuku slept you kept watch. Telling the principle and All Might was the right call. But that feeling in the pit of your stomach kept growing. 

You didn't sleep another night. Would this feeling ever die down? Was it just the fact that you knew about All for One? Or was this feeling something bigger than this world? Why were you torn away from your family? Why were you brought here?

What was going to happen? And… would you be able to protect them from what ever you felt was coming?

Nothing too major happened after All Mights class. You and Izuku were voted into being the class president and vice president respectively. To which you both reacted… not negatively but not fully willing. You resigned the moment you were called as vice president, immediately handing the power over to Yaoyorozu. She fit much better for it anyways. Smart and held together, thinking outside the box. Plus you had voted for her anyways. She was a better option and much more coolheaded. Izuku ever the people pleaser he was didn't resign just yet. People voting for him made him feel obligated to be class president and even though he was uncomfortable, he didn't want to disappoint his classmates. But during lunch, the school was broken into. Alarms went off and everyone was in a frenzy. You were sure that someone was going to get trampled. But then Iida slammed right into the emergency exit sign. Yelling about how it was just reporters and that none of you were in any real danger. You think thats what sealed the deal for Izuku passing on the mantle as well. And Iida became the new class president. At the end of the day it didn’t keep the spirits out of your business. The spirit of a young girl was running through the halls all day. Begging for help, begging for someone to see her. It broke your heart hearing her. But you very well couldn’t let your classmates know this. You waited and the other spirits that wandered around calmed her. Let them tell her you could see all of them, and she begged you to save her baby brother from All for One. You went to Nezus office immediately after. 

The little girl was no longer there, she was pulled away, her spirit was tethered to her brothers. And she didn't want to leave him all alone. She didn't want to fail as a big sister again, was what she said. It left a different feeling of unease with you. Shimura Tenko… was awfully close to Shimura Nana. You hoped they weren't related. You prayed for it. 

It was really unfortunate that your prayers went unanswered, and Shimura Tenko was in fact related to Nana.

You needed to know more about Shimura Tenko. Unfortunately, you couldn’t just travel through Japan to find out any information. Afterall, it would probably be best to actually search in person. But, you were lucky to say that you had the internet on your side (another perk of being here you suppose). There was… a Shimura Kotaro. But all his information was that he disappeared around 16 years ago. Only dust was found at the family home. His children haven't been found either. He was Shimura Tenkos father. And now you had the unfortunate knowledge that All Mights mentors child was dead, her granddaughter was dead and her grandson was working under All for One. You figured this would be dealing with some grand reveal, from All for One to All Might. One that would shake the man to his core, to stop smiling in his buffed up form. One that won't be as cutting now. You would tell him, warn him. And yes it would probably destroy him, feeling as if he failed his mentor. But, if All for One didn't have a backup revelation to shake the core of the number one hero, how could he dare call himself the ultimate villain. As Ashido would probably say, he's a "basic bitch" or something to that effect. She… she really made you miss Mitsuri.

You were going on a field trip… in your hero costumes. Well most of you were in your hero costumes at least. Izuku, the poor boy, had half of his costume destroyed so he was wearing the gym uniform. It made you upset that you missed him taking down Bakugou. But also incredibly proud that he took him down too, even if he had to go to Recovery Girl right after. But… you remembered Midoriya-san giving that to him. How she said she was sorry for not believing in him, but she would support him 100% now and how she was so proud. And Bakugou just… destroyed it so easily. You knew he knew Midoriya-san, he was Izukus childhood "friend" after all. So he had to have known that she made that for Izuku. He still looked down on your little brother. You shook the thoughts of that away. Things would change, Izuku had very high hopes since you all made it to U.A. and if he truly believed that Bakugou would change for the better you'd let it slide for now. If he didn't though, you'd talk with Aizawa and the principal about it. Even if Izuku begged you not to.

Mutual jumpscare moment of this all happening as the train is going through the tunnel, and unfortunately Ingo's godawful noises have convinced the human that there is a demon aboard this train car with them, so when he bumps into them while he's toddering around in the dark and yowling it activates their Fight fear response. Neither of them has any idea what happened by the end of it, because it was too dark for the human to see and Ingo doesn't remember anything at all afterward, but it shaved about five years off of both their lives regardless.

That's even better that he can only ask for directions from other cats then (unless he stumbles across one of the nobles, I guess), as it forces Emmet to go the slow route. Ingo has a lot of plot time to get through, so Emmet needs a lot of ground to cover. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up getting hurt at some point as well, as a kitty not used to traveling alone or by foot for so long.

Both of those feel very Volo, especially the latter option, given Volo's canon ambition to destroy the world and rebuild a better one. Only the clan cats getting to go to starclan is kinda bullshit though, I'm actually with him on that. Oh, actually, maybe Volo kinda buddies up to Ingo the same way he does to the game protagonist, because Ingo is now in the curious position of being both a clan cat and a former outsider? It'd probably be worth playing nice if was he was able to eventually pump Ingo for any knowledge they might give him about starclan.

this fuckin guy, as far as they know, fought a very small very angry demon on a train in the dark and narrowly escaped with their life. meanwhile as far as ingo is concerned this was probably an act of god or something, he doesn't know, that seems as likely as anything else

YEAHH... i wonder if he gets hurt in a fight with another wild animal maybe? a badger... or even a weasel... and then that colors whatever future interaction he has with the next noble he runs into. he probably didn't MEAN to fight it the first time, but either he wandered too close to its den unknowingly or it was out hunting and found him, and now that's the primary interaction with weasels/bears/whatever that he's familiar with. and then the next one he runs into starts TALKING

yeah lol that's the one problem with that concept is that... like... that's a fairly reasonable and sympathetic motivation. it IS kinda bullshit that only Some Cats get to go to cat heaven. so there has to be some other reason that like. he's the bad guy for wanting to fix that. which is why i'm also leaning towards the latter option actually lol, maybe he even convinces ingo and/or the protag to go along with this idea to open the gates of starclan, in a more active role than just giving him info, while not actually telling them that the like, core central part of this idea amounts to mass murder. (which, that's also sort of fun playing off canon, that now they're the ones giving him lore and ancient history instead of the other way around)

When people state in their leaving xplrclub post that there's 'not enough fan interaction' but you know for a fact that both boys have been responding to members feed posts regularly and have been leaping into the chat semi-regularly. Just because it's not happening when you are online does not mean it's not happening.

I do not understand what these people want, do they want them to come on every single day and spend hours chatting and responding? Do they not realise they have work/editing to do and lives to live? This fandom is so unbelievably clingy, my word. Some fans are literally dogs with separation anxiety I swear to god.

If you're leaving xplrclub that's fine, goodbye and have a good life but at least be accurate in your leaving post

imma be honest with yall, idc. i'm not personally on xplrclub to interact with snc, that's just an added bonus. not to mention there is 2000+ ppl on there, it would take them HOURS to notice all of us. i don't expect that from them. if you feel like you weren't getting your money's worth, then leaving is the best option.

that being said, snc seem to try to interact at least weekly from what i can tell; either in chat or in the member's feed. and i think that's fine enough for me, bc again, i don't use xplrclub to talk to snc (or really anyone for that matter lol).

but outside of xplrclub….. a lot of fans are complaining about snc not interacting with us more. and my thing is, what else are they supposed to be doing? bc according to the twitter heads, they aren't doing enough.

snc repost fans constantly on their xplr insta account, and also on their personal, but that's not enough. bc a, they only notice fans for merch which just feels like they only care about fans that spend money and b, they only repost hot, skinny, pretty fans.

for YEARS fans wanted snc to repost fans more in merch, and now that they're doing that, it's not good bc it's only fans that spend money that get noticed?????? okay. and the pretty fans only get reposted comment… i've explained how i feel about that. it's horseshit, and you're just insecure. sorry.

bc for the few 100s that are feeling this way, there are millions of fans (me included) that don't feel like snc need to do more. sure, there are certain things i would love for them to tack onto their business schedule, if they COULD do it. but i'm also not constantly threatening to either leave or off myself if they don't meet my demands.

Brick had been awake to a traumatized Carrie, claiming to God for thinking she sinned for having a period, now Brick need to care of her and help her to understand things and heal herself from previous events. It's a soft and tender short story about Carrie White and Brick Campbell.

It was an autumm dawn. Brick was sleeping peacefuly, laying in side of his loved one and dreaming about his tender childhood memories, be playing with the boys from his old neighborhood, be smearing from cake batter while his older sisters used to watch ''I Dream of Jeannie''. However, sobs and cries could be heard even during sleep. When he get up, he found a kneeling Carrie, claiming God for forgiveness.

"Carrie. Carrie, my baby.'' He touched the hand on her head, who open the eyes and jumped in scary, for noticing she was out from bed.

''Why were you crying?'' He asked.

''I was feeling a lot of pain. After returned to bleed, I dreamed God was punishing me through the pain, and I was claiming for mercy even by impure thoughts.'' His expression changed for melancholic after empathizing for his girlfriend' pain.

''My love, this just cramps.'' He grinned, passing comfort to the girl.

''Cramps? What is it?'' She asked, not understanding anything.

''Come here. Let me to bring you to kitchen cause' I'll tell you.'' Carefully, Brick carries the girl in his arms like a baby. And walking on kitchen's way, he sat her to rest on chair while boiled a water to make a relaxing tea.

''So, which's a cramp, Bricky?'' She asked, still curious.

''Oh yeah, I've forgot!'' He answered in giggles. ''Well, honey, this kind of thing is nothing as menstruation' consequence. Sure, it's painful but the good is this temporary and only happens few days for each month.''

''Oh, I understand. So this mean isn't God punishing me for it?''

''Of course no. What would God punish you for something that is commom to all woman?'' He picked some kettle and pulled the tea on Carrie's cup, putting more chocolate cookies on plate.

''It's because Mama told me that God punished Eve for being weak and then, he got a Crow named Sin and then a Curse of Blood and that intercourse was the first sin.''

He moved the head in negative, outraged about his passed mother-in-law's biggest ignorance. ''So, two options: Or she really didn't know the Bible or had I read wrong in my whole life. Because which I read and learned is God punished both Adam and Eve for disobeying Him to eat the Forbidden Fruit. And Genesis book never mentioned Crow, Curse of Blood and neither Intercourse being the first sin.'' Brick picked some Bible that showed all pages since the Creation to God's Punishment after Forbidden Fruit.

Carrie read all the pages and notice about how wrong she had been taught about all religious concepts in her whole life. She got angry and disappointed.

"Calm down, love. I know how frustrating it can be, but I'm here to help you everything. And if you need me to read the Bible and teach you which is right, I can do with all pleasure.'' He hugged her while stroke her hair. Carrie thanked but apologized for anger. Everything she had learning for years was a lie.

"To think that I've lost all my growing because the darned religion.'' She hit the hand on table.

''I can understand and I'm so sorry, baby. But look, we're together, living into a new house and new life - everything you lost, you can take it back. Remember, nothing's late.'' He grinned, trying to cheer her.

''Yeah, you right! I can play outside, watching cartoons and wear any cutie clothes or even meet new people and have more friends." Now, she looked like an excited child.

''This right, baby! And here at home, you can be sure that you'll only have a lot of little kisses and many hugs.'' Carrie kissed his lips and thanked him with a tighty hug on her old best friend.

''Thank you so much, my Bricky!''

"No problem, princess! Now let's have some tea while it's still warm.'' She agreed and drinked the camomile tea. Eating the chocolate cookies. Brick learned by his sisters that chocolate and camomile were perfect for helping during the period. Carrie shared some cookies to Brick and the boy accepted.

Later, Brick left all things on sink and carried his girlfriend to living room. Sitting on couch and watching some cartoons as ''Scooby-Doo'', ''Pink Panther'' and ''Tom & Jerry'', Brick brought her a warm compress and put down her belly. After it, the boy sat on couch and the girl laid on his arms, falling asleep into a tight embrace.

WELL.

I just finished my first playthrough and like. holy shit. I'm still kind of reeling bc even though I think I got a "good ending" main story-wise (destroyed the elder brain and all the tadpoles), the companions' epilogues were not as positive!

I fucked up Gale's story at some point - I was trying to romance him, but I also didn't want him to take the crown for himself, and I think I must have picked an option that backed him up at some point thinking I could convince him later. When we got to the epilogue, we just got in an argument and he stormed off to go claim godhood for himself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ My (vague) understanding is that each companion has at least two endings? And I did quicksave during that conversation so I may go back and see what happens if I back him up - probably not the ending I was aiming for, but something different at least. I also never got his act 3 romance scene, but I'm not sure if that's because of this or because I started romancing him too late (I didn't get his act 1 scene at the party either).

*Quick edit since I just went back and loaded up that last save: there wasn't anything I could do in that conversation to change the outcome of Gale leaving. I think I must have started his stuff too late, so I couldn't get all the scenes, plus probably a few bad dialogue choices on the way. It's a shame, I really do like Gale and he has an interesting story, and that’s not the way I was hoping to end it (even if I wasn't romancing him).

I didn't actively do very much of Karlach's story (got her stabilized in act 2 and that was about it), but GOD her epilogue scene made me cry like a baby. Saying goodbye to the sun and the ocean... telling herself she did her best... 😭 I'm still feeling unwell about it.

I don't think I would have done anything different on this playthrough for Astarion (helped him kill Cazador and disrupt the ritual) but I did feel bad when he had to go scrambling away from the sunlight. I'm planning to romance him for an evil playthrough so I might just go full evil and let him complete the ritual then - we'll see.

But overall I really really loved this game! Absolutely one of the biggest, most captivating experiences I've had in a game. I understand why people are upset about the abruptness of the epilogue, but (at least for now) it really didn't bother me. I think if it were much longer, it would have felt like it was dragging, especially when you have a lot of emotional scenes one after the other - I think they erred on the correct side. The story felt so detailed and interwoven and compelling and still managed to be... manageable. Understandable and relatively easy to keep track of, despite being both sprawling and deep. The script and the acting elicited a huge amount of emotional reactions from me all the way through the game - this has taken me about a month, mostly playing a couple hours each evening, and I was still laughing at the dialogue and cringing at my bad rolls and invested in battles almost every time I booted up the game. That was a pretty cool feeling.

It's wild to me that every time I watch other people play this game, they're always finding things that I never found - there's just so. much. game. I expect any subsequent playthroughs will go a good bit faster; eventually I'll probably just watch parts that I'm curious about instead of playing through it over and over with slight changes, but I am curious to do at least one more playthrough with a very different approach to see how different the game becomes. I'm going to be thinking (and posting lol) about this for a while.

Oh! Randomly, I feel like I should mention that I played the whole game on the easiest mode and it was great. This is the first CRPG I've ever played, I have very little experience with turn-based combat or DnD, and I wanted to keep having fun! It was still plenty challenging - there were still a couple times that my whole team died, it's certainly not a story-only mode - but it ended up being perfect for my play style.

iosjeferijgvierjgv8erjvgoerhg0rehg0rejgre I'm like 30-something hours in and only just now found out I just completed act 1- I THOUGHT ACT 1 WAS OVER AFTER I COMPLETED THE GOBLIN CAMP 😭😭 Which isn't a bad thing cause that just means the game is way longer than I thought, more to enjoy.

I just changed my class from fighter to bard cause I was getting sad always leaving Karlach and Lae'zel out since I didn't need another guy doing heavy hits up front. That plus I was sick of never getting any advantage on persuasion checks. Not sure how I feel about it just yet since I haven't had much experience; I'll def miss my cool armor ; - ;

(fyi I didn't change their classes but adjusted their builds so they'd be more efficient, for instance Asterion basically can't lose at unlocking/disarming a thing cause he has so many advantages now)

Anyways I currently have Gale, Asterion and Shadowheart (was Karlach but brought in Shadowheart since I was curious too see if there'd be any unique dialogue in the Shar temple I'm currently in)

I keep switching out Gale and Wyll, I love them both and am tryna like get an equal amount of both BUT i don't rlly need more than one mage/socerer/whatever at a time ya feel.

The flaming gay va- I mean Asterion is almost entirely just there for unlocking things and disarming traps, man's an absolute twig in a fight 😭 I also like sending him up front to scout out the area in dungeons since I believe he has better perception. Also he was reminding me of someone for so long and I finally remembered what

Karlach is my tank currently, she deals a majority of the heavy damage and I just love her in general so I like to keep her whenever possible (can sub for Lae'zel but idk I don't like her that much?? At first I did but now she's just getting into fights with everyone willy nilly ya know??)

Shadowheart is strictly there for protection and healing. I HATE THIS BITCH SO MUCH!!! (sorry to all the shadowheart fans out there) Just to me she's so "oh the goddess likes me and not you, guess I'm better than the rest of you uwuwuwu" like bitch shut the fuck up please.

As for romancing, not sure?? I know you can technically be poly in this game so I'm tryna romance as many ppl as possible without locking myself into anything (I just had to brutally reject Wyll by just turning away my face from kiss bc apparently it's smash him or break his heart and no in-between, also I looked it up and he's monogamous so I rlly would lock myself into it and I don't want that, EVEN THO HE'S SO SWEET AND LOYAL AND WHOLESOME AND I WANNA H*G AND H*LD H*NDS WITH HIM, FUCK YOU GAME-)

I'll prolly play the game again in a couple months when there's a mod that lets you simultaneously romance everyone cause my RPG self is a SLUT and wants to form the ultimate polycule in any game I play. Everyone is too loveable not to.

As for Lae'zel?? I think she was a very much smash or pass person cause when I turned her down at the party she hasn't had much more to say to me sadge (which is fine cause idk like I said she's just been grating on my nerves) Not sure about the others, it's kinda hard to tell, especially with Gale. Maybe cause I've been rizzing other ppl, and I've heard he's also monogamous, wehhhhh (which is valid but c'mon let a bitch dream of polycules and giant sleepovers with a hundred blankets and everyone forming the ultimate cuddle pile around the tiny dwarf who will never know a cold night again)

yes the clues were there it's the comeback challenge and this time we're doing a makeover along with a previously eliminated contestant

took a minute for it to happen because we had 2 non-elimination episodes both of which curiously involved peter

going over everyone's choices we can see that

sanctus once again chose a pretty boy to team up with

leo thinks it's fair to give james another chance when he was killing it before

mercury thinks hugh was eliminated way too soon

kasai's playing it very safe

sarana and peter want to give the first outs another chance to show off their talents

vivos knows that juan going home third is some tomfoolery

incidentally this is where i stopped last time and sanctus was the one who got to come back but this time the legend is still here

kasai FUCKING OBLITERATES this challenge oh my god it's looking really good for brendan

meanwhile we can safely say that juan and grusha are not coming back this is not a good season for the blue legends

sanctus is safe which incidentally means it's over for hibiki so our remaining options are brendan koko james and hugh

imagine if leo wins and james comes right back

but instead he and koko just barely miss out as brendan gets to come back and kasai gets his second win
