Hello everyone! My name is Fen and I’m new to tumblr! I recently decided to start writing fan fiction and posting it here. I’ve written some works for myself, but I don’t really have and fics to share yet. So, I’m opening up requests! I’ve never done anything like this before, or used tumblr, so please be patient with me <3

Here’s a little bit about me:

I’m a trans man and use he/him pronouns. I’m 20 and autistic :) I’ve been writing my own stories since I was in elementary school, but I’ve never felt comfortable sharing my writing with anyone until now. I’m also an artist but I’m still working my way up to sharing my art! I struggle with making friends and I’m hoping to maybe meet some here :)

I adore your art style and I love how you found a way to keep the characters canon disabilities in the elementary school AU.

AAA thank you!! This made me so happy to read, me and @laszlosharmonica (co-creator of the au) are both disabled ourselves so it was important to us to keep that in there

A handful of au facts for you:

Jackie wanted to bedazzle her prosthetic but her parents said no, so she likes to stick those little gem earring stickers on it instead (stickers have been banned because they leave tacky stuff that get gross but she tries to put some on there anyway)

Evelyn starts wearing a glass eye in 5th grade and in 6th grade she convinced a bully she had heterochromia by wearing a mismatching eye, only to wear a matching one a month later and insisting she didn’t know what they were talking about.

Lucius was really self conscious of his missing finger when he was small, so his parents got him a silicone prosthetic. In The Fuckery episode, Buttons actually bites it in half (leading to everyone freaking out because “OMG Buttons bit off Luci’s finger!!”). Pete didn’t like seeing him sad, so he made him a new prosthetic out of a stick and a bandaid. Lucius was so pleased by this that he started wearing his silicone prosthetic less often.

Buttons is autistic, and his biggest special interest is sea life. On a field trip to the aquarium, he and Lucius are assigned as buddies and he actually lists 1000 sea creature (Lucius counted)

Pete has speech therapy during school, but at some point his therapist switches his appointments so they don’t take him out of class and instead take him out of recess. He is so upset that he’s missing their pirate game that he stages a silent protest until they switch it back.

Ed doesn’t start wearing a knee brace until his teens, after an accident involving a razor scooter, a tall hill, and Izzy saying “Don’t do that, you’ll fuck up your knees or something”

Tell me everything about the 2nd grade ofmd au PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

ABSOLUTELY thank you for asking! (I'm summoning @laszlosharmonica on this lol)

So this au takes place in the early 2000s, circa somewhere between 2003-2007, in an elementary school somewhere around Greenville, NC. Stede Bonnet is the newest addition to Sra. Jimenez's 2nd-grade class and has convinced most of his classmates to play pirates with him at recess. The events of the au take place with the kids' games overlapping, including a pre-existing game of pirates led by Ed, Mary and her friends playing house, and Jackie's assorted shops and restaurants.

we're still working on organizing the logistics of it all but I've put some fun facts under the cut!

Ed and Izzy are best friends, but Izzy gets extremely jealous when Ed and Stede get close.

Izzy also has asthma and once refused to listen to the gym teacher telling him he can't run the mile with the other kids and ran so fast he threw up.

Jim's nana is their teacher, but the rest of the class doesn't realize this until about halfway through the year though.

Jim, Oluwande, and Jackie's parents are friends and they spend time with each other outside of school.

Ed, Izzy, Ivan, and Fang all live in the same apartment complex and often stay with each other after school if their parents are out.

Because their apartment complex doesn't allow pets, Fang can't have a dog but he really wants one. :(

Stede is very particular about his books and he insists on having two copies of all of them, one that he can bring to school and the other to keep at home, and it's very important to him that the adults in his life understand that.

Frenchie is extremely allergic to cats and his mom once tried to deter him away from petting every cat he saw by telling him they're witches and now he's terrified of them.

Lucius is above grade level in reading and writing, and the only one in class that knows cursive. He is EXTREMELY proud of this fact. He also keeps his pencil case pristine (or as pristine as a 2nd grader can).

The Swede loses his first tooth in class but doesn't know you can't put them back in and he's extremely distressed.

Jackie's 20 "husbands" are actually her stuffed animal collection. Jim accidentally rips one and they don't speak for at least 2 weeks.

Buttons is one of those kids casting spells with sticks and making leaf potions and always carries around his favorite seagull plushie, Karl.

Evelyn has a spotted tabby cat, but she tells everyone at school that it's a jaguar.

Jackie is keeping the sillybandz economy alive.

Pete and Buttons play Webkinz together but they aren't aware that they're playing together.

Pete is that kid that's always telling wildly exaggerated stories about his weekend.

They take a field trip to an aquarium once and it's as adorable as you'd expect it to be.

HELLO I’m so sorry this took so long, last week was nuts ;; but here’s what me and @laszlosharmonica have come up with so far for Jim! (Not much on their nana yet tho)

Jim lives with their parents and older brother, who’s in middle school! Since their nana lives nearby and teaches at the elementary school, they stay with her pretty often while their parents are working.

The adults in their life picked up on this kid’s anger issues pretty early, and have helped them find outlets to handle it safely, like trying all kinds of sports and crafts. The one that ends up sticking is baseball, and Jim is an amazing pitcher. Much later, Stede drags the crew to a renn faire in middle school, where Jim discovers knife throwing and fall in love with it.

2nd grade and the beginning of their game as the crew of the revenge is the beginning of Jim’s egg cracking. Their “pirate name” becomes the only one they respond to for the next few years, but they don’t find the words for it until a little later.

Stede calls them Jimothy once and immediately got a clementine lobbed at his head

When the Swede gets scurvy, (AKA he loses his first tooth) the kids go on a hunt snagging all of the orange gummies from everyone’s lunches. The next day Jim brings him an orange from one of the trees growing in their yard (bc while he’s not actually sick, he was pretty shaken by the whole “teeth don’t go back in” thing)

So not telling you what to do but lots of kids who have had surgery to correct cleft palates have to have Revision surgery and if that happed to Pete, I could see the entire class making him get well cards.

This is the cutest thing I have ever read in my life
