Ooo, I think everyone already knows about the two Main Baras (Rowan. Wanderer) and the token twink (Mikh) so im gonna talk about a dude I dont post/draw much about lately but it's a very dear character!!!! This man

Yael is technically not my OC but Crystal's (my partner), but I count him as one of my own since he's quite literally designed to be my self-insert. Yael and Crystal are two of our most beloved OCs, and we use them EVERYWHERE, especially as online nicknames or in games where we can create our own sonas (Stardew, Sims, etc).

This is an old reference. He is now fatter and taller.

He shares my ASD, bisexuality and cottagecore love. Crystal (irl) is taller than me so part of the joke is that he's one of the biggest OCs we have; and Crystal (The elf) is around my irl size.

Lore-Wise, he's a Firbolg in Crystal's setting, called Midgard or Pangea depending on the timeline. In there, Firbolg are actually closer to ents and dryads than to giants; they have a lifespan similar to elves and are extremely tall. Yael used to be somewhat of an alchemist and nature researcher before getting into the most bloody turbo-divorce ever; lived homeless for a while with his daughter and is now somewhat leading a revolt against the city of Zobeck's townsguards and government. He is also currently dating crystal, a Shadowfey elf made out of glass(?) but this is not about her!!!!

He's the kind of man i want to grow up as. Extremely hot role model. Has a pet goat and an abandoned greenhouse he chills in and is extremely strong and getting fatter by the day. Peak man tbh

fun fact i fr gave up on copying the alnst style and i said i’ll just draw him how i usually do it…

the pronunciation of his name is (sh- ael) not (zay-el)

info:

sent to anakt because his owner likes it when he sings, though he’d rather just play an instrument

basically he doesn’t want to be at anakt and was forced by his guardian

he is allowed to use technology and likes to make games and other such things

he doesn’t wear a collar, but not because he’s obedient but rather because he’s controlled by other means

often seen with bandages on his arms

he has a blue jacket that is his most prized possession, but he can’t wear it due to the uniforms so he sleeps with it instead

since he’s a bit young, he feels a little awkward in comparison to his classmates

he has clinical depression and has to take antidepressants, which he hates

extremely vivid nightmares and is definitely sleep deprived because he’s too afraid to go to sleep

his teeth actually resemble vampire teeth, so he tries not to smile to reveal them

he was the inspiration of sai!

ooh question for your ocs! how did they realize that they were in love with their crushes/lovers? love is important to aegaeon's character as she has saachi but i wonder how it all began (also if this has been answered before i am so sorry 😭 i have not catched up with character lore) and im curious about your other ocs too!

AHH SORRY I KINDA AM REPLYING LATE(also dw i sadly forget posting abt my lil creatures😓)

For Aegaeon saachi was the first person she saw when she was being transported so they felt safe for once and when they saw her in anakt too they kinda clung to their side. After getting used to the place n people she started to interact w them(even if it wasnt fully correct) anyway yeah aegaeon found comfort in saachi and loved her as she always accepted her!

For Leto, he has a twisted idea of love as he was given a bit if love and kinda lot of abuse so he thinks violence doesnt mean hate it means being seen n being seen is love(my mans weird) and he found asuka, who stayed by his side n beared w him, also gave affection even if leto didnt fully understand! So i think its that for leto

Can was kinda bullied in anakt and he had people he connected with, altho he probably said i love youu to everybody whos nice to him so hes a chill dude and im also not so sure if he got it but yael gave him comfort too n yea( @bluemoonscape i need ur opinions on that-)

And lastly citino, he saw casimir and he directly thought "i need to protect him" but not in a "gonna protect him from the fights" its more like "gonna protect him from The Horrors™️" kinda way n he admires him a lot(maybe thats why he wants to protect him) when they were little, citino used to stare at his eyes. Anyway so i think citinos reason for loving casimir came from first citino being interested in his eyes then saw he was pure n yea you get me bro(no thoughts only citino n casimir as cats cuz thy sound like cat names i love them)

Yael Fun (Tragic) Facts!

Since he has the least amount of screen time of any of my OCs so far, he’s some tidbits of his character to help get to know him better:

-He gravitates towards unhealthy relationships whether that be for friends or romantic partners. He has an incredibly toxic and codependent relationship with Macbeth, and after Macbeth’s death, he becomes obsessed with trying to get Innamorati to accept him and accept Macbeth’s passing.

-He could have the potential for a healthier dynamic if @paradisedisconcert is still making their shy little guy

-He’s had multiple unnecessary surgeries done. He’s had organs removed and replaced that were perfectly healthy. He has to have a very specific diet not to aggravate his system after all that’s been done to try and “fix” him.

-Because of this, he has to exclusively eat plain, tasteless food. He misses sweets.

-Tends to wander with seemingly no goal, aimlessly picking petals off of flowers or staring at seemingly nothing

-Before he goes to sleep, he has a routine of pressing his fingers against different spots on his torso to feel if anything is inside that shouldn’t be or otherwise missing. He does this again when he wakes up.

-They’re very interested in his peers and sometimes follows them around without saying anything.

-He and Naz used to be friends, but Naz slowly became freaked out by Yael and pushed him away.

-His hair is always cut short and straightened when he comes back from a visit home. His guardian is wealthy and likes him looking as clean and presentable as possible. Naturally, his hair is curly.

-Left-handed.

-Takes a lot of strange medicines every day that switch out frequently. He has to take them crushed in his food since he can’t swallow pills.

-Born female but leaned more androgynous and masculine as a young child, so they grew up as such.

-Wants to help others but often goes about it the wrong way.

-Their guardian, Aligri, has never sent any humans to Anakt Garden before Yael, who was sent very, very young.

-He has a very blank look about him most of the time.

-Can often be heard singing strange, unfamiliar melodies and words under his breath—he sees singing as ritualistic. He’s never known a life in death without it.

-In addition to Macbeth and Inna, he’s also interested in Naz, Kioku, Yume, Xael, Numa, Sebastian, and Yumi (subject to be added onto, obviously)

-He never really seems happy or childlike, just listless.

-He once had an incident where he almost drowned in the stream in Anakt Garden. He wandered there and was found facedown in the water by a classmate. He was pulled out and had to be revived.

-He had to wear a collar after that.

The funny thing about Yael and Crystal's is that they're supposed to be our self insert but their lore is like. yeah Yael's ex wife hired people to murder him and steal his research. yeah Crystal is corrupted by forces beyond her understanding that turns her somewhat inorganic and has a gaping hole in her chest. Anyways here's 10483 AUs about them owning a farm

Alright, I've only just finished the patrol in b1 and am already fantasising about a polymance between Yael, Nate and Adam.

This is not something I ever considered before tbh, because I never thought Yael and Adam being together would work. He's the one with whom Yael struggles most to connect.

Yet, it's funny, because on her (and my) very first playthrough, I had her run into him during the patrol and chose the option of her attention being drawn to him at the start. Not because I thought she'd be attracted to him, but because she would have wanted to understand him better, learn what's behind that hard exterior. I was prentending very hard that it wasn't a flirt option, although I knew it was even before choosing it, haha.

Now the thing is that I can see it: her being drawn to Nate immediately, because of his warm smile, his gentle kindness, the way he makes her feel seen. Yet she's also trying to figure Adam out, and in the process, she's ever so slowly falling for him, for the sense of stability he provides, for how deeply he cares about UB and for that unexpected sense of humour.

And they will all live happily ever after in a polymance!! (I will also pretend very hard that that's what is going to happen, even if I already know it canonically won't)
