Ooo, I think everyone already knows about the two Main Baras (Rowan. Wanderer) and the token twink (Mikh) so im gonna talk about a dude I dont post/draw much about lately but it's a very dear character!!!! This man

Yael is technically not my OC but Crystal's (my partner), but I count him as one of my own since he's quite literally designed to be my self-insert. Yael and Crystal are two of our most beloved OCs, and we use them EVERYWHERE, especially as online nicknames or in games where we can create our own sonas (Stardew, Sims, etc).

This is an old reference. He is now fatter and taller.

He shares my ASD, bisexuality and cottagecore love. Crystal (irl) is taller than me so part of the joke is that he's one of the biggest OCs we have; and Crystal (The elf) is around my irl size.

Lore-Wise, he's a Firbolg in Crystal's setting, called Midgard or Pangea depending on the timeline. In there, Firbolg are actually closer to ents and dryads than to giants; they have a lifespan similar to elves and are extremely tall. Yael used to be somewhat of an alchemist and nature researcher before getting into the most bloody turbo-divorce ever; lived homeless for a while with his daughter and is now somewhat leading a revolt against the city of Zobeck's townsguards and government. He is also currently dating crystal, a Shadowfey elf made out of glass(?) but this is not about her!!!!

He's the kind of man i want to grow up as. Extremely hot role model. Has a pet goat and an abandoned greenhouse he chills in and is extremely strong and getting fatter by the day. Peak man tbh

JIU ( @severedscales ): He’s fascinating, in a way. So studious, so monotonous. He seems to act strange in front of that Kioku girl. I think it’s a little bit funny how we almost wear our hair similarly. Would it be weird if I said I wanted to dissect him?

KIOKU (same as above): Very forgetful. I want to know why… but I can’t just go up to someone and ask, “Why is your memory horrible?” She’s so friendly. She reminds me of sunflowers. I might give her one some day.

NENE: Her brightness is very blinding, it’s a little bit annoying. She’s always writing letters. Either that, or she’s pining over some girl like a loser. I deliver her work sometimes. I try not to think about her, really.

XAEL: He doesn’t like me. It’s fun to mess with him.

NUMA: Arguably one of the most interesting in ANAKT Garden. He has such a warm feeling about him… it’s not overwhelming, or bad. He’s always so nice. He has so much energy, he loves sports, but he’s not a sore loser. He’s even willing to teach others how to play with him. I worry for him sometimes when I notice he spends too long in the bathroom and comes out looking rather pale. I see it normally happens right after lunch, if he eats. He usually skips it. It’s so odd to me how much energy he has even if I almost never see him eat. I want to know everything about him.

ZERO ( @myworld-collapsing ): Zero is like a shadow. I think their name is fitting. I don’t really see Zero, but I feel him around me. He’s obsessed with me. I don’t mind it, though. I think it’s cute. I like seeing his reactions.

ASAHI (same as above): I don’t believe in matchmaking. I often find myself annoyed with her for a reason I can’t describe.

DANTE ( @imperfectnothing ): I like him. He’s very helpful to me. I appreciate the company he brings. Dante himself doesn’t scare me, but… There’s something about the way he makes me feel. It’s different. That’s what’s scary. I don’t want to hurt him for loving me. I don’t know exactly what that means. I might tell him when I know what this feeling is.

MILL ( @waterydream ): Mill is like me. Mill and I share a lot of the same attributes. I don’t have to “pretend” with Mill. He told me I didn’t have to. That neither of us have to. But still, I wouldn’t call them a friend. Sometimes Mill does say things that seem a little bit targeted, though I wouldn’t call it annoying. I’d say we’re acquaintances at most.

TOKI ( @eventseraphim ): What a freak. It’s like he saw through my facade the moment we met. He likes bullying me as if it’s a joke. It doesn’t matter, though. He makes for an interesting friend. I will say that he is quite lucky I didn’t come to ANAKT for new test subjects…

INNAMORATI ( @alien-til-i-stage ): Very friendly. I don’t like it when he messes with me. I don’t want to show it and hurt his feelings, he seems fragile.

It’s interesting to me how humans used to talk… I think Macbeth is very well named. I wonder if he’s read the play…

ELIANA (same as above): I don’t know why Nene finds her interesting. Nene has such odd tastes…  At least Eliana is pretty.

ooh question for your ocs! how did they realize that they were in love with their crushes/lovers? love is important to aegaeon's character as she has saachi but i wonder how it all began (also if this has been answered before i am so sorry 😭 i have not catched up with character lore) and im curious about your other ocs too!

AHH SORRY I KINDA AM REPLYING LATE(also dw i sadly forget posting abt my lil creatures😓)

For Aegaeon saachi was the first person she saw when she was being transported so they felt safe for once and when they saw her in anakt too they kinda clung to their side. After getting used to the place n people she started to interact w them(even if it wasnt fully correct) anyway yeah aegaeon found comfort in saachi and loved her as she always accepted her!

For Leto, he has a twisted idea of love as he was given a bit if love and kinda lot of abuse so he thinks violence doesnt mean hate it means being seen n being seen is love(my mans weird) and he found asuka, who stayed by his side n beared w him, also gave affection even if leto didnt fully understand! So i think its that for leto

Can was kinda bullied in anakt and he had people he connected with, altho he probably said i love youu to everybody whos nice to him so hes a chill dude and im also not so sure if he got it but yael gave him comfort too n yea( @bluemoonscape i need ur opinions on that-)

And lastly citino, he saw casimir and he directly thought "i need to protect him" but not in a "gonna protect him from the fights" its more like "gonna protect him from The Horrors™️" kinda way n he admires him a lot(maybe thats why he wants to protect him) when they were little, citino used to stare at his eyes. Anyway so i think citinos reason for loving casimir came from first citino being interested in his eyes then saw he was pure n yea you get me bro(no thoughts only citino n casimir as cats cuz thy sound like cat names i love them)

ALNST S40 OCs Naz & Yael Official Profiles

Since I never actually posted their official profiles, here are their profiles & assets for @season40! Once again, art for both by @rockwgooglyeyes, he does lots of amazing oc art over on his blog!

Yael and Naz have both lost people very dear to them (Akane @aakaneeee & Macbeth @alien-til-i-stage, respectively) shortly before their season and are dealing with the fallout as they hit the stage. Their closest confidants at the time of S40 are Can @14-alc (warily reciprocated) and Inna (wildly one-sided) for Yael and Wren @ivanttakethis (Naz likes to act like it's one-sided) for Naz

By S40, they share a guardian, Guardian Ebej. Naz was Ebej's first pet human and he was intrigued by her outbursts and uncontrollable fluxes of emotion. He purchased Yael after Yael's guardian sold them, exhausted of having to deal with Yael's strange and morbid behaviors. Ebej further encouraged Yael's mental illness and fueled his delusions by sending him on a "mission" after graduation from Anakt Garden to spread the word about the Great Anakt, which Yael claims to have seen firsthand from two near-death experiences (one when they were a small child and tried to end their own life by drowning themselves, only saved by Can; then again before graduation when they acquired a bad concussion in a physical fight with Inna).

The funny thing about Yael and Crystal's is that they're supposed to be our self insert but their lore is like. yeah Yael's ex wife hired people to murder him and steal his research. yeah Crystal is corrupted by forces beyond her understanding that turns her somewhat inorganic and has a gaping hole in her chest.
