Backstory

Born into the Osh-Tekk tribe in northern Outworld as the daughter of a sorcerer, Frida had a lifelong passion for magic, and was taught to use it by her father. Years ago, she met the merchant Shang Tsung, becoming his lover, but ended the relationship after Frida realized Shang Tsung's moral corruption, even though she had been the one to teach him magic.

Frida spent the next few years selling magic potions on the streets of Sun Do, when she heard rumors that Shang Tsung was somehow involved with the royal family. Knowing what a monster he had become, Frida began hunting him, and in one of her searches, she meets Kenshi Takahashi, Johnny Cage, and Kung Lao, having to ally with Liu Kang and Earthrealm to defeat the sorcerer.

Fun Facts about Frida

1. Shapeshift: She can transform into anyone, Shang Tsung learned this magic by watching her practice.

2. Green magic: Her magic color is green, ironically, it is also her favorite color.

3. Blue skin: Like everyone in the Osh-Tekk tribe, she used to paint her skin blue, but when she met Shang Tsung, she stopped painting herself to look more like other people.

4. Meeting the sorcerer: She met Shang Tsung in a village near the Osh-Tekk village, when she wanted to buy herbs to make tea.

5. Preference: She thinks Kitana would make a better empress than Mileena, but doesn't dare say it out loud.

She's an outworlder, so she doesn't know anything about Earthrealm music, but if she had been born there, she would be a fan of Lady Gaga and Madonna.

She uses magic as her main weapon, but sometimes uses a bayonet for physical attacks.

While living in the Osh-Tekk tribe, she dressed in clothing that Earthrealmers would consider similar to that of cavemen, and when she left her culture behind, she began to dress like the rest of the Outworlders.

Her hair is wavy, so sometimes she takes care to keep it that way.
