i love how david jenkins always just spoils upcoming big plot points in his interviews with absolute casualness, like i remember in early season one he was like, "yeah, the historical blackbeard and stede bonnet were definitely hooking up and pirates used to get married and that's what my show's about" (and i remember we were all reblogging those interview screenshots like 'is ... is he kidding? how much does this man mean this?'), and then early this season he was like, "i want to see ed and stede run a business together in season three" and now here we are! i find it very refreshing to see someone be so the absolute opposite of spoilerphobic. 🥰 suck on that, marvel franchise etc.!
