okay so here is a very delayed post match analysis:
let’s be real, leeds dominated for the first 80 minutes and it did look like they would win because de gea n maguire were absolutely woeful (whose surprised there tbh). it was a very poor game from united and was reminiscent of what we played like in previous seasons icl
again those weaknesses in our midfield without casemiro and eriksen were once again exposed but tbf sabitzer did okay. fred on the other hand?? i’m still not sure what he did to get potm bc that should’ve gone to rashy or garnacho.
rashy and garnacho they are my carrington boys fr and oh my god the pair of them are actually insane. garnacho im so glad u backed out of the sui celebration but my god stop dickriding crusty, move on babes xx. no but fr i loved how he silenced the haters and that’s what they get for hating on a literal child like grow tf up.
honestly i always feel so mean slating maguire cos i do think at times he’s overhated but no, he was so shit on sunday i genuinely think he shouldn’t play a match again this season but obvi he will cos squad rotation n we don’t want to risk it w rapha n licha n say they get injured right before a big game.
overall as far as wins go, was pretty nice n was nice to go 2nd albeit momentarily but beating leeds is genuinely the most satisfying feeling ever
overall i give this performance a solid 8.1/10
anyways it’s the return of european football and a visit to my favourite stadium after old trafford in the world, camp nou i’m excited for this game and going into this game both teams are looking very strong so it will be a good one to watch. up the reds
