#i just finished the twisted series#honestly they were good in that they got me giggling and kicking my feet and like curled up in suspense#but if im being honest i think they're really basic#im not a fan of what's happening to published books bc everythig can be printed now and idk#like these are technically books but i read them as pdfs#they feel like wattpad stories (spoiler alert: the first book WAS a Wattpad story)#its rather the plot and language thats like well alright (rich rich heartless guy falls for bubbly sunshine girl and would go to unmeasurab#le means to protect her).#like ofc im no better than the next gal bc i read all 4 books#the covers are... interesting... as well#and the plots/subplots are rather dull and its very unrealistic#not saying that fanfiction is at a lower level than published writings tho bc I’ve read fics that should be PUBLISHED#and great we recognize authors and that’s awesome#but some writings should stay where they are…..
