🌿 Eir 🌿
recently I´ve connected with the Norse Goddess and Valkyrie Eir, and would like to sum thing up about her, since I´m preparing to make a few offerings to her.
Eir is a norse valkyrie and a goddess, protector and healer of the Norse deities.
She is associated with medical skills, healing, recovery, mercy , help and protection.
Her appearance is of a slender build, reddish/blonde hair, pale skin, and blue eyes.
(i´ve called to her for mental healing, i´m getting better. But I suppose that it works better for physical healing. either way, it works and i´m thankful)
offerings, symbols and how to contact her
You can light a green or red candle for her while praying, or as an offering.
Mortars and pestles, healing instruments and bandages. Saunas. Healing herbs, home remedies, and folk medicine. Copper. The colour red. Hill tops.
magic charm pouch should be made of red cloth with blood-stanching herbs such as Yarrow or Bistort. Comfrey is traditionally one of Eir’s herbs, and it is a famous wound healer that speeds tissue repair. Red stones are also appropriate – she seems to be fond of garnets.
Self note: I´ll draw the goddess, make some healing tea and give it to her as an offering, probably will light a candle as well. Will go outside for a walk on a hill top and start using the tincture me and my dad have made. Maybe will make a ring from copper and leave it on a tree on a hill top. Might also make an offering stone for her, inculde herbs, red and green colouring in it.
“Physician of the Gods, the Merciful One. I give praise to you so that you may have the strength I thank you for all you do and have done for me I ask you to keep my family and loved ones healthy. To help me when I need it and to have mercy When I am in need. Help me make the right choices So that I can heal myself when needed And be prepared for your skill and magic I give this prayer as a thanks and as praise. Hail Eir, Greatest Physician!”

Freyja
Norse Goddess of Lust/Love, Sex, Beauty, Fertility, Gold, Seidr, War, Wealth, Death, Divination And Magick
Freyja (Lady) sometimes known as Freya or Frea, was the daughter of the sea god Njord in Germanic mythology and sister of Freyr. She was an important fertility goddess and a member of Vanir, one of the two branches into which the germanic gods were divided. After a war the Vanir seem to have been supplanted by the younger Aesir, who were led by Odin. When peace was agreed between the two sides, Njord went with Freyr and Freyja to Asgard, where they lived with the Aesir as a token of friendship.
Freyja's greatest freasure was the Brisings' Necklace, which she obtained by sleeping with its four dwarf makers. Her beauty won her many admirers, including Ottar, whom she changed into a boar. She was said to be a sorceress who could fly in a falcon's skin. Some traditions state that, on her arrival in Asgard, she taught the gods the spell sand charms of the Vanir.
Both Odin and Freyja Took an interest in the heroic dead, dividing the slain between them at the end of every battle. Odin's share went to live in Valhalla, while Freyja's lived in her hall, Sessrumnir. It is possible that Freyja's lost husband Odur, or Od, of whom nothing is known but his name, was Odin. For she was the goddess of lust as well as love, a suitable partner for Odin who was the father of battles and the lover of destruction.
Freyja was renowned for her magical crafts, along with the other Vanir deities of fertility and nature. She was the first to teach the warrior Aesir the practice of Seior or magic. Seior was useful but could be dangerous, givings its practitioners foreknowledge and power over life and death, love and intelligence. Odin quickly learnt all that Freyja could teach him and, ever thirsty for knowledge, surpassed the Vanir in magic arts. In lather myth, Freyja was identified with Idun, goddess of spring who guarded the magic apples. | Symbolism of Freyja | Cats Carriage Fairies Ravens Weapons Fine Jewelry Crimson Hair | Personal Associations |

Lil updates and asks of confused lil me..
sooooo I'm working with Apollo and Loki now, Loki acting like a jokester dad (I say he bc he appears as male to me) and Apollo like a meme or excited child. I am still not able to see Apollo, I sometimes see Loki but I sometimes hear them. Apparently they both have a nickname for me which I wasn't able to find out yet.
Lately I've been thinking about Hades a lot even tho a lot about his correspondences and stuff add up to me and make sense (why is it always like that for me with deities wth?). I was told he isn't one to reach out and I get that but I don't know why I am a little intimidated to contact him. During a pendulum thingy I had with Apollo and Loki together they told me Hades wanted to work with me. I'm careful of that understanding tho.
Lately I've been fascinated by knives again and why ever I impulsively bought an amethyst necklace and an opal as well as an opal pendulum. It felt like somebody nudged me heh.
Are there any correspondences for Opals? considering what they're good for or what deities? idk
I also dreamt I was part of QE a few days back and I spent most time with the guy I called Tan yet he was tall, slim and had dark brown, long hair. Also being close to him felt like switching outside of my dream? If I make any sense?
If anyone can or wants to help/talk just DM me or send an ask, they are both always open ^¬^

Something Loki Said Today #2
*Customers being annoying/borderline rude*
Loki: *appears beside me, flipping knife in hand* We could always stab them you know.
Me: Yeah, but we won’t.
Loki: Why not?
Me: Cus it’s not nice.
Loki: *sighs, deeply disappointed*

Loki
Nordic God of Trickery, Cunning, Mischief, Magic, Fire and Change
Loki was a mischief-maker, trickster and shape-changer, and grew progressively more evil until eventually the gods bound him in a cave until the coming of Ragnarok, the end of the world. Boredom was a problem for Loki, who "was tired of the string of days that unwound without a knot or a twist in them".
The fact that his parents were giants may help to explain his tendency towards evil deeds. He simply could not help playing tricks and exposing the gods to danger, although it was often his quick-wittedness that afterwards saved them. Loki, for instance brought about the loss and return of Idun and her apples of youth. Without these magic fruit, the gods were subject to the ravages of time like everyone else. On occasion Loki was prepared to risk serious harm to his companion Thor, the thunder god. When Loki led thor unarmed to the hall of the frost giant Geirrod, Only the loan of weapons from the kindly frost giantess Grid saved the thunder god. Loki tricked his friend beacuse the price of his own release by Geirrod had been delivery of the thunder god into his power.
Yet it was Loki who devised the novel scheme to get back Thor's magic hammer after it was stolen by dwarfs and passed into the hands of the frost giant Thrym. The price for the hammer's return, Loki discovered, was the hand of Freyja, the fertility goddess. He therefore persuaded Thor to go to Thrym dressed in Freyja's clothes. When Thrym took out the magic hammer, Thor seized it and laid low all the frost giants present.
Loki was married twice, first to the giant Angrboda and than to Sigyn, with whom he had two sons, Vali and Narvi. His monstrous children by Angrboda were Fenrir, Jormungander and Hel, ruler of the underworld: all fearsome representatives of the evil side of his Nature. Even after he brought about the death of Odin's son Balder, the gods continued to tolerate his presence in Asgard. But when he arrived at Aegir's feast and began to torment everybody present with insults and sneers, their patience came to an end.
To escape their wrath Loki changed himself into a salmon. From his high seat in asgard, however, Odin located the fish and mounted an expedition to catch it. Loki was then placed in a dark cave. His son Vali was changed into a wolf, who immediately attacked his brother Narvi and Killed him. Narvi's intestines were then used to bind Loki beneath the dripping mouth of a venomous snake. In this dreadful prison, the god awaited Ragnarok. Then he was to emerge to lead the army of evil in their final battle with the gods, when Loki would meet his own ends at the hands of Heimdall.
Loki is particularly happy when you do work with children, especially those who have been through a disaster, are disfigured, or orphaned. He is also pleased when His devotees speak up and tell the truth when everyone else in the situation is avoiding it for whatever reason. He smiles upon work with the mentally ill, especially those who suffer because of trauma (PTSD, for example). Donating to causes that look after those society tries to hide or forget, like the homeless, addicts, veterans, the elderly – He is happy when someone remembers their suffering and does something to ease it, even if it's only giving a dollar to that beggar on the subway or spending one afternoon a year performing at the local retirement home. Loki especially appreciates those who emotionally support those who are reviled or outcast because they live in truth, whether it be about their religion, their sexual orientation/gender identity, their choice of career, or whatever else that sings in their heart.

In the past six months I've realized many things and I've realized many things thanks to Loki. I've realized all that really matters in my life should be my happiness (at least when it comes to my future career) but I've also realized that it's okay to be me as long as I don't hurt anybody and that anybody who doesn't accept me the way I am isn't worth my time, family or not. I've realized family is something you chose and that family is a safe space for yourself.
I am very grateful to him because of that

My connection with Loki
Idk i just felt like sharing.
So I started out about half a year ago and I've had a connection with Eir in the beginning who then slowly introduced me to Loki. She tried to make it slowly and Loki just yeeted into my life haha.
He was always to me like a father, but a quirky, irresponsible one that forgave quickly.
I am very insecure and careful and shy because I am scared of angering the gods and he always forgave me for not practicing or doing anything or doing what I want when I want or just in general for not being very organized. Because I am sick and part of the LGBTQ community I have issues with getting along with myself. Loki always reassured me and I felt safe with him. The night my great-grandmother unexpectedly died he held me close and helped me offer Hel something.
What I just wanna say with his post is to anybody who was (like me) told you need to follow every ritual and you need to be super organized and offer everyday and all that jazz, no. You don't need to do that just try your best, they will understand. Even if your experiences don't match with those of others, it doesn't matter because the relationship between your gods and you is just between you two and specific to you two. Most Lokeans experience Loki as trickster who plays pranks on them frequently and yes I've also experienced one or two pranks by him but pranks were never anything major in our connection.
Loki became for me like a father or older brother I could hang out with and come to for comfort and Loki also comes to me when he is stressed out. There are nights where he's just laying next to me, listening to music with me and just relaxing and enjoying each other's company. He knows I struggle a lot and even when I have doubts he greets me with open arms and a warm smile.

Something Loki Said Today
So, I was journaling about Loki today and I heard this very clearly in my head.
Loki (and I quote);
“Weaves Lies Like Thor Eats Pies”
I just think that’s adorable. Anyone else?
